Tiffany's Diaper Tales Volume I By BabyInDiapers Written 10/27/2003 Chapter 073 I woke up the next morning. Teala and I were still in the crib. We never woke up from yesterday evening. We both needed a diaper change. Tammy was laying on the bed. She had a soaked diaper too. Teala changed her. She was pretty upset still she cried while she got changed. Teala then changed me. I comforted Tammy. Teala went to the bathroom to change her own diaper since mommy wasn't home. I went to see daddy. He was awake and sitting at the kitchen table. "Hi daddy." I said. "Hey. Did you sleep ok last night?" "Yeah. I'm hungry though." I said. "Ok let me fix you some oatmeal. He said while rummaging through the cupboard to find it. "Where does your mommy keep it?" he asked. "Over there, behind the cereal box." I said while pointing. He heated it up and then put some milk in it. Teala came out and fed me. She was taking things pretty well. Tammy however, seemed partially regressed. Teala helped her eat too. All three of us girls were in diapers that day. After eating, we drove down to the hospital to see mommy. She was awake. "Hi mommy." I said as I sat on the edge of her bed and leaned down to kiss her." "Hi baby." She said softly. "I glad you ok now mommy. I was so scared. I love you so much. I glad you alive." I said while a few tears came to my eyes. "I know baby. I love you too. I'm glad that God protected me." She said. Tammy came over and laid her head next to mommy's shoulder. She just cried. "It's ok baby. Mommy will be ok." Mom said. "I know but I was scared when they called me at work and said you were shot." She said while still sniffling. "It's ok baby. Shhh mommy's ok now baby." She said while she reached her one arm up to hold Tammy. Her other one she couldn't move to good because her shoulder was sore from where they went in to pull the bullet fragments out from around her choler bone. Teala came up and gave her a kiss on her cheek. I glad you feel better mommy. I was so scared yesterday." "Honey I'm just glad you and Tiffany got me in the car and that you drove me to the hospital. You saved my life honey." Mom said as she smiled. "I guess. I was just so scared. I drove over 100 miles an hour too. It was scary. I know God was really with us." She said. "Yes he certainly was, and still is." Mom said. After we visited a while we went back home. Emily and Laura came over. We played for a while. I was feeling better now that I got to see mommy. She would probably be in for almost a week to make sure everything was ok. The one bullet damaged her stomach lining and they were going to do minor surgery to fix the hole. Also the one that is lodged in her heart cracked one of her ribs so they had to make sure that was ok as well. They had mommy on a lot of pain killers so that was probably why she seemed a little spacey when we went to see her. Emily and Laura left to go home for dinner. Tammy and I took a nap together in her room. Teala was swinging outside on the swings. Daddy was making some dinner for us girls. After dinner Tammy bathed me and Then Teala got her bath. Tammy took a shower and then we sat in the living room. We prayed again for mommy to continue to get better. Daddy tucked all of us in. We all slept in my room. Tammy again wore a diaper. She had been wetting a lot at night lately. It had even been more often since mom was in the hospital. I said my prayers again. I realized that sometimes tragedy and hard times bring us closer to God. It's to bad we aren't as close to him when things go well. I'm sure He gets sad sometimes when we don't talk to him. I really learned a lot the past couple years. I cuddled with Mr. Fluffy and went to sleep. Tomorrow was church. We had a lot to be thankful for. I woke up in a wet and messy diaper the next morning. Tammy got up and helped me out of my crib. She laid me on the bed where she had been sleeping. She was in a diaper and T-shirt. Her diaper was completely soaked. Teala was sitting up in her crib looking over the side rail. "Good morning." She said. "Hey Teala." Tammy said while wiping my icky messy diaper butt clean. "Tiffy poo-poo in her didee." Teala said. "Yes, she sure did." Tammy sighed as she finished wiping and then powdered me. Teala hopped out of her crib and then changed Tammy's diaper. We got dressed for church and then had something to eat. Later we drove to church. We were a little to late for Sunday school because we overslept. The sermon was really good. The pastor called our family down front to have people pray over us and for mommy's healing. They anointed daddy with oil to stand in proxy for mom to receive the full healing. We prayed for a while. The Spirit of God was really moving. Tammy also asked the pastor to pray for her about a couple things. He laid hands on her. In the middle of his prayer she fell backwards and hit the floor. I had seen this happen to a few people at church before. So I wasn't too worried. I stood there for a while as a lot of us were up at the front of the sanctuary just standing around and praying and singing songs in the Spirit. We went into over time but it was so awesome no one wanted to leave. A while later Tammy got up off of the floor. She began to speak in tongues! It was really weird sounding. I knew all about this sort of stuff because they taught us about it in Sunday school, but I hadn't been to a service where someone received the Holy Spirit before. I could feel the joy of the Lord welling up in me. I knelt down again and just gave thanks. I knew God was going to use our family for something special. Some sort of ministry. The thought kept echoing through my mind. I realized that it was God giving me a vision for our family's ministry. I stood back up and asked the Pastor if I could share a word that the Lord had given me. I spoke it over Tammy, Teala and Daddy, right there in front of the whole church. I never usually was bold like that. It had to be God. Tammy testified that she had received the Holy Spirit and she knew that the power of God was moving through the service and now in her life. Now she had the power to walk victorious in her Christian life. I could even see her face had changed. She had a different complexion. We didn't leave the church until about 3 that afternoon. We weren't even hungry until we got into the car. Then we stopped at Mc. Donald's drive-through. When we got home we all ate. I decided I wanted to take a nap so Tammy put me down for a nap. Teala decided she wanted to watch cartoons and cuddle up on the couch. Tammy went outside to the tree house to be alone with God. I found out later on that while praying in the Spirit, she had received confirmation of the vision I had received about our family's ministry. That night when we went to visit mommy in the hospital we told her everything that happened. She was very thrilled to hear how great things were at church. She herself hadn't received her prayer language yet. Tammy laid hands on her in the hospital. She began to speak in tongues too! Soon we had to leave. Mom told the nurses to take her off of the pain meds and that she wanted to go home. She told them that she was healed. They ran a few tests the next day and determined that she had fully recovered. The doctors were in awe. They told her that it was a miraculous recovery, and that they'd never seen such a quick one as this. Even her fractured rib had completely rejoined and healed. The only way you could tell what happened to her was from a couple scars, and the one bullet that she still had in her. We stayed home from school Monday. The principal insisted that we take some time off due to all the stress. Also over the weekend the police had found the man responsible for shooting mom. They called daddy Monday night and told him. Teala and I had to go down to the police station Monday to identify him. Sure enough they had him in the line up. There was no mistake. I had seen him twice. "It's that one." I said as I pointed to number 4. They had daddy fill out some papers and then we left the station. Daddy took us out to Dairy Queen to have some ice cream! Mom stayed home. They told her to rest more even though she was healed. So she just took it easy for a couple days. Tammy was so much more happy lately. She was still her silly old self, but some things had changed. It was a good change. I knew our family was going to have a wonderful future. God had protected us in so many ways. I thought back that night, as I lie in bed of all the times when we barely escaped death and danger. From Teala, to me, to mom. The devil did not want our family to stay around for God to use us. As I finished thinking about all that had happened, I closed my eyes. I wet my diaper and held Mr. Fluffy. I fell asleep and slept so well. All things worked together for good. I was so happy. I woke up again to wet again. Then I fell back asleep. Sometimes I would wake up to go in my diapers but most times I wouldn't. Even when I woke up, I felt so at peace. It didn't take long at all to go back to sleep. Wednesday came and we went back to school Everyone was glad to see us. Everyone in my afternoon class gave me a card. They were all glad my mommy was doing better now. I couldn't help but tell them how God had healed her. It was so awesome. At lunch I sat with Robert and all my other friends. Robert had been out of town until last night. He had no idea what happened until I told him at lunch. "Oh honey, I wish I could have been there for you." He said as he gave me a big hug. "I know Robert, but its ok God was with me, and my whole family." I said. "Yeah, and I'm glad too. I am also glad they got that guy who did it too." Yeppers. I have to testify in court during the trial since I saw him even before the shooting." I said. "Are you nervous?" Angela asked. "Well, Not really. Ever since church on Sunday, I've been filled with more boldness. Did I tell you what happened to Tammy this weekend? It was awesome. She received the Holy Spirit." I said excitedly. "OH that's cool. My cousins are Pentecostal." Angela said. "Yeah so is my grandmother." Robert said. "I wanna come to church with you next week." Laura said. "Ok sure that's great." "Me too! My parents are gonna bring me though." Emily said. "Cool." Just then it was time to go back to class. After the afternoon classes were over I went to see Miss Megan to get my diaper bag and so on. She also went to my church so she knew everything that had happened. I had seen her from church on and off through the last few years, but I didn't realize she would be my school nurse. I went back to class and then the bell rang. We hopped on the bus. I felt a lot safer going home this time. That was one less bad guy on the streets. I went home and hugged my mommy. She took me to my room and breast fed me. She knew that I needed to be comforted by her. Not so much because I was upset, but that I just needed to be nurtured and cared for. She rocked me gently as I suckled on her. Then she laid me on the bed and put Mr. Fluffy next to me and tucked me in so I wouldn't roll out of bed. Mom was feeling so good that she cooked dinner for us. It was really yummy too. When Tammy was bathing me after dinner she asked me if I wanted to receive the Holy Spirit. I told her that I prayed about that before but it didn't happen. She told me she had been reading some verses that talked about laying on hands to receive it. After she got me dried off and in my jammies she sat with me on my bed. She put her hand on my shoulder and the other one on my forehead. I closed my eyes. She prayed over me. We prayed for a while and then Tammy began to pray in the Spirit. Then she told me to just open my mouth and let my prayer language just come out. I began to talk baby talk at first. "No, Tiffany, you're trying to hard, just let it happen. Just let the Spirit do the talking." She said. I just stopped for a second. Then I felt a warmth in my body. All over from my head to my hands and in my tummy. It was a pleasant warmth. I opened my mouth and began to pray in tongues. Daddy and mommy came in to the room and knelt down and began to pray with us in the spirit. Daddy had always had his prayer language for a long time. He never usually used it in front of people. The only reason to use tongues in front of church or other people, is so that you can say something for an interpreter to translate. That is for the building up of the whole group. But prayer language, or praying in the Spirit, is between you and God. Sometimes in small groups with people who are close to you, it's ok to all pray in the spirit for each other and so on. Teala stood at the door. She was really amazed. She had not been in church as long as we had. So she didn't really know completely what was going on. She stepped into the room. Dad stood up and raised his hand up and as he was about to put his hand on her shoulder to pray for her, she was slain in the spirit. Just as Tammy had been at church on Sunday. I went to her and prayed for her to receive it. She soon came out of it and began praying in tongues as well. We continued to pray both in the spirit, and in regular language, and also quietly. The spirit of God was moving in that room. We walked from room to room and just prayed God's blessing, anointing, and protection on the whole house. It was past my bed time when we had finished. Mom changed me and tucked me in. Tammy and Teala both went to bed. Teala stayed awake a while praying softly. I didn't mind at all. I was feeling the power of God still too. I finally did fall asleep. I slept like a baby in the arms of her mother. Special Note (from Tiffany): I know to many readers they may not agree with such things as speaking in tongues, or other things regarding the Christian faith, but these are things that happen in my life and I always tell the story just as it is. It took a hard time to get our family to re-focus on God, but don't wait for something to happen, just pray to God now. You're only one step away. Don't let the devil tell you that you can't go back to God. He loves you. I know some of you won't agree with all that was in this chapter. I know it is an issue that confuses many people. But it is biblical. We can all get along even with different beliefs. I just have to keep telling my story. I am thankful for every reader. So, please, stay tuned for more of Tiffany's Diaper Tales!
