Tiffany's Diaper Tales Volume I By BabyInDiapers Written 10/28/2004 Chapter 099 A couple days went by. Grandpa went back up to Pennsylvania and Laura and Emily both returned home. Laura called me sometime before lunch on Monday. Laura proceeded to tell me that she had a great Christmas and that when she got home her parents had another present for her and it was in a huge box. She got a keyboard that had a stand, and a seat, and a music holder. It also had plugs for line in, line out, and MIDI. I was excited for her. I told her about my guitar and she really was happy. Unlike me, Laura knew how to play her instrument fairly well since she had been taking piano lessons since the third grade. A while later after lunch Emily called me. We talked a bit and I asked her what she got for Christmas. She rattled off a few things and then said, "And when we got home I had this really huge box in my living room." She told me that it was a drum set with stands and a seat and everything. It had symbols, snare, toms, and it was neat. Emily's mom helped her set it up in the garage. Since they had a car port and only one car They used the garage for storage and so on. I was really happy. I told her what Laura and I got and we decided that since Laura and I were more portable that we'd bring our instruments to her house and we could start a band. Only thing is, Emily didn't know how to play drums either. I told my mom and dad at lunch what Laura and Emily got for Christmas. I was really anxious to go over to Emily's. I called Robert and talked to him a little while. I told him I heard what his mommy said the other day when they left the nursery. He told me that he had a talk with his mom in the car that night and told her not to tell him who to hang out with and that I'm not always a baby. He said his mommy got mad at him but then his dad agreed with him that I was a nice girl and there's nothing wrong with Robert hanging out with me. I was glad he stuck up for me. That was way cool. Later on daddy drove me to Emily's house. He helped me unload my guitar and amp from the truck. He helped me set it up in the garage. Laura was already there playing her keyboard. She had hooked it up through Emily's little stereo to give it more volume to compete with Emily's drums. Lucky for me my amp was pretty loud too. I had tuned my guitar and was used to playing a few chords on it now. Laura was the one who knew more about music then the rest of us so she came up with a progression of chords for us to play with. It was C, A minor, F, and G. Laura started playing it. She tapped her foot to count the measures. Emily began to tap the bass drum on each beat and then experimented with the snare and symbols. I played the chords on my guitar and was doing good accept for the F. It was hard to get my fingers there quick enough. But after a while I got the hang of it. Emily's mom came out and offered us some hot chocolate. We put down our instruments and went in. "You guys were sounding pretty good out there." Emily's mom said. After a while we went back out and tried some other stuff. It was really fun. Emily's mom cooked us dinner and we hung out until about 8 playing. Laura and to go home and so I stayed at Emily's until 9. Laura left her keyboard there. We planned on getting together every day and practicing. When I got home I told mommy and daddy all about it and how much fun it was. "Well good sweetie. I am glad you're enjoying your Christmas present." Daddy said. Tammy gave me a bath and then mommy tucked me in. Teala went to bed when I did. She was tired. Her and some of her friends from school went to the mall and walked around most of the afternoon. Mommy gave me a bottle to suck on while lying in my crib. I finished it all and then went pee and poo in my diaper. I fell asleep laying on my back with the bottle in my hand. The next day I woke up and got my messy didees changed and then ate breakfast. At about 10 Emily called. I put on my coat and my mittens and my hat. I gave mommy a hug and said good bye. I walked down the street to Emily's house. When I got there Laura was already there. She was showing Emily some stuff about keeping tempo and time signatures. I sorta knew about that stuff, but I mostly played by ear when it came to timing and what notes to play. Laura began to play something she had written the night before. I used a guitar book to figure out some of the new chords. Emily also had a drum lesson series on DVD. She had watched a couple of them yesterday night before bed. SO she also was trying to implement some new things. At lunch we sat down and tried to put a few chord progressions together to make the themes of a song. We wanted to try to get something together and put lyrics to it. The next step would be for me to learn to sing while playing guitar. Laura and Emily didn't really have much of a singing voice. After lunch we tried to put the music together. There were many mistakes, but by dinner time it was coming together. My parents picked us up and took us over to my house for dinner. That way Emily's mom wouldn't have to cook for us all the time. That night we spent the night at Emily's house. That night all we talked about was ideas for our song. Finally we all went to sleep. The next morning Emily's mommy changed us. As soon as we ate breakfast we were out in the cold garage and at it again. We took a break after lunch and Emily watched some of the lessons on DVD. We watched it with her so we could learn more about music also. It was really exciting. We kept on getting together each day. Finally Saturday came and I had my first guitar lesson. My teacher was amazed at how well I was doing I got through several of the lessons in the book just in one day. I told her that my friends play instruments and that we were starting a band. She thought it was pretty cool and I showed her my part of the song we were making. She gave me a couple ways to do some of the chords differently and it sounded better. My hour was up and I waited for mommy to come get me. "So how was your first lesson honey?" Mommy asked. "It was good. I learned a lot and my teacher says I'm already pretty good for a beginner." I said while looking through the lesson book my teacher had given me. Time went on and we spent our vacation days jamming in Emily's garage. We still didn't have more then a couple songs, but it was fun playing them over and over, and we kept getting better the more we played. School started again and my birthday came. SO did Emily and Laura's since our birthdays are close together we all had one big party at my house. I was now officially twelve years old. A lot had changed in my life. I felt a lot older for some reason. I mean sure I still could be a cute little baby, and all that, but I guess at the same time I was growing up too. It didn't bother me like it used to. Growing up is kind of cool. After school each day we would go to Emily's house and do our homework and then practice until Laura and I had to go home and go to bed. Once again we had found a great use for diapers. We would stay in our wet diapers all day while playing. One night we were sitting around trying to think of a name for our band. We joked around a lot. It was funny. We thought about calling ourselves The Diaper Babies but that was silly. I came home one night and Tammy was sitting out in the porch. It was March already. The weather was nice. "Hey kiddo. How was practice tonight?" Tammy asked. I sat with her on the swing. IT was cool Emily still can't come out of a fill without gaining speed. She messes up our tempo all the time but besides that its going good." I said. "You guys have been spending a lot of time over there and stuff. It hasn't been the same around here ya know? It's a lot quieter." Tammy said. "Yeah?" I said. "I miss having you around. You know Tiff, I'm not going to be home forever honey. I am going to college next fall. So like all I have is the rest of this school year and the summer." We just sat there a while and talked. "Yeah I'm really going to miss you." I said as I started to cry. I held her. "School is really busy this year but this summer you and I should hang out and do some fun stuff together ya know?" she said. "Yeah. But I still don't want to lose you, you're my best friend." I said while crying on her shoulder. "Honey, you'll never lose me silly. I'm your big sister. I'll always be there for you. You know what I mean?" Tammy said as she wiped away a tear from her eyes. "Yeah but nothing will be the same. It seems like nothing is anymore. I mean I'm growing up and everything's so different now. I don't' even feel like a baby sometimes anymore." I said while crying. Tammy just held me. We both cried. "Honey, that's what life is, changes, things never stay the same. That's kind of how it is. Ya know? But it's a good thing too. We'd get bored if everything was always the same." She said. "I know but I just wish I was really a baby again. Pretending doesn't always do it for me anymore." I said while crying. "I know honey. I know." She said as she held me. "I just don't want my inner child to die. I want to always hold onto that part of myself even when I'm mom and dad's age. You know what I mean?" I said while sniffling and wiping my tears on my sleeve. "Yeah. I do honey. Knowing you, you'll always be a baby inside. You don't have to always act like one. And like I always told you, I'll always see you as my baby sister and I'd baby you any time you want. So would mommy and daddy too." Tammy and I just hugged. I fell asleep in her arms for a while. Later on we both woke up. It was the middle of the night. We quietly went in the house and crashed in her bed. I had on a wet diaper, and she didn't even have one on, so that next morning we woke up in a very wet bed. Tammy got a shower in mom and dad's bathroom and Aunt Kathy gave me a bath. I got diapered and dressed for school and ran to catch the bus. Emily and Laura were already there. "You look tired." Laura said. "Yeah, had a long night. Tammy and I talked for a while last night." I said as we got on the bus. We went to Miss Megan's office to drop off our diapers that we had washed over the weekend. School seemed to go slower then ever. It was probably because we were all anxious to go practice. Some of the kids in our class knew about our band and thought that it was stupid. They were just jealous though. The bell rang later on and we got on the bus and went to Emily's house. I left after dinner to go home. I felt like I needed to spend more time with Tammy and I told Laura and Emily earlier that I needed to balance my time between the band and my sister since she wouldn't be living with us much longer. They were very understanding. Tammy and I watched a movie in her room and Amy came in and said goodnight. Mom and dad went to bed too. "Make sure you two put dry diapers on before you go to bed." Mom said as she came in and gave us both a goodnight kiss. "Otay mommy." I said. After the movie was over I brushed my teeth. When I came back Tammy was already in her diapers and jammies. She put me in a dry diaper and a footed sleeper. "Wanna sleep in your crib tonight?" she asked. I nodded. She took me over to my room and put me in the crib. She put Mr. Fluffy next to me and pulled up my covers and tucked me in. "Nighty night baby." She said as she lifted the crib rail into place and left. That dry diaper didn't stay dry for long. I totally soaked it and laid there for a while thinking about things. I began to fantasize about being a baby and I closed my eyes and a while later I fell asleep.
