Vintage Photographs that Inspired The Shedding of Wren
These photographs were probably taken in the mid-1950s in Texas by an unknown photographer. Some of the elements of the photographs seem to indicate a written text might have been associated with them, possibly Story of O since one of the models wears a large signet ring and another model bears a mark on her leg.

Ponygirls, a Dog, and a Couple of Cute Fillies
Del thought it was extremely strange to have been doing those things to Sharon while Spot and Penny watched. It was hard enough in the plain day to day to know what Penny thought. With Spot it didn't really matter because she was a dog, but Penny wasn't quite a pony yet. Not by a long way.
Del always has one pony too many and when they start falling into his lap he does what any man would do — take a walk in the woods with a dog. Unfortunately Spot's owner is someone else and Del's wife is getting jealous because Spot is so beautiful, just like the rest of them.

The Urinal
I'm ready to say yes to you. Val, you can use me in any way you like. I have hopes and desires but you'll chose the way I'll be used and by whom. I'd like to get my degree. If you have other plans, I'll abide. I want to be sold; you don't want to sell me, that's fine. I want to be used as Em was used; by whom and how is entirely up to you.
The story begins when Val wins a rigged poker game. He goes home with the woman his buddies call the urinal and the adventure begins.

Lynn
Lynn lived for the moment; at least that's how I see it now. Being in that moment was what was important. She herself could only get there by saying yes or sure (my favorite word in the English language because of how she said it). She had to be open for the moment, always ready. My job was to present moments -- either myself or others -- or appreciate the moments she collected by happenstance.
Lynn quit college at the end of her freshman year but ends up back on campus needing a place to stay for a while. Lynn is passed along to Greg by his roommate and he remembers what it was like back in 1968.
