: I'm Still Here
The cockeyed heaven that Monster In The Woods is set in consumes
me at the moment. I have a draft of part 2 of Monster and
part 3 just keeps growing in my mind. I also have some ideas
for stories in that universe that aren't about my alter ego there,
and have just uploaded one. I may get around to finishing
the other stories listed here, but it could be a while.
I watched King Kong a few years ago, and I was offended by the
premise that a human woman would be hairy enough for a giant ape
to fall in love with her. My parody involves the natives of
Black Silk Island worshiping their god named Dong (actually part
of the one creature). Dong means penis (and clitoris) in
their language, and of course they regard genitals as
sacred. The story involves and American boy getting involved
in their rituals (through devine intervention), and their finding
out that the boy had been circumcised before Dong regenerated
him. They eventually allow him back, but with the provision
that he not be circumcised again, and consequences ensue when the
provision is broken. I wrote a lot of the story years ago,
but I'm having ideas about it again.
This story is about two boys (brothers) who get lost in the woods
and start losing clothing and finding love. I wrote it
toward the end of last winter, but there's a turn I want to take
at the end that feels important to me. Unfortunately, the
story is sleeping now, so it could be a long time before I finish
it.
