Unforgettable eyes in your unforgettable face; the kind of eyes that I notice as they flicker past on a crowded street.  Once seen, do command my intense attention, and demand my inmost soul.  For all time, in your presence or not.  Once bitten, I’ll never see another pair of eyes like yours.

Unforgettable eyes, not kind or overly so, but harboring truth, in desire and love.  Deeper than the skies, yet your stare sparkles nearer to me than my skin.

O! that they would shine solely for me!  What a life it would be!  Though ‘twould be cut short, for the passion lighted by your eyes consumes me even in their brief illumination. 

Were I to hoard your light, my flesh would fall away, and leave only my naked soul, while you, needing the life in a whole body of man, could do no less than leave me, and no more than search for another to feed you, who speaks your language of love.
