“So, are you up for this or not?”  Inuyasha asked, glaring at Kouga.

“How do I know this isn’t a trap of some kind?”  The ookami prince asked, glaring at the hanyou?

“You’re just going to have to trust me.”  Inuyasha replied, shrugging.  “You gonna show or not?”

Growling, Kouga glared at him.  “Yeah, I’ll be there.  But if this is a trick of some kind I’m gonna kick your ass!”  He snarled.

“Keh… Like you can.  Dream on you wimpy wolf. Just be there.”  He replied, rolling his eyes before walking away.

Settling by the fire, Kagome brushed out her damp hair.  Smiling, she gave a sigh of contentment.  It was just her and Inuyasha tonight and it was so quiet!  They had dropped the others off at the old exterminators’ village so Sango could do repairs on her weapon.  Now her and Inuyasha were traveling back to Edo alone.

Plus, now one of us or part of his pack with always be with you.  You will be better protected.”

Leaning up, she kissed the hanyou she had loved for so long and smiled.  Then she looked over her shoulder at Kouga and kissed him as well before snuggling between her two mates and sighing happily.
