Just One Tear

Like a fine piece of cut crystal
            it glistens in the light
Slowly it slides downward
            leaving a wet trail
The eyes sparkle brightly
            glistening in the light
Emotion reflected in them
            obvious for all to see
Just one single tear
            not a flood
Enough to convey emotion
            subtle and understated
The eyes are a window
            so expressive
Looking into them deep
            feel the emotion contained
Simplistically beautiful
            yet very powerful
One small droplette
            tiny yet huge
Beautiful in its' simplicity
            powerful in its' emotion
There for a brief moment
            then gone
Just one tear
            here briefly then gone
