Chapter 106

Aziza was greeted with open arms and tears of happiness when we entered the house. She was wide-eyed with shock at the place and all the women followed behind as Mom gave her the guided tour. While the women played show-and-tell, I retrieved the bags from the car. I carried them up stairs and Mom told me which rooms to put them in. She’d chosen to put Hibbah in the room closest to mine with her mother next door and sharing a bathroom.

Aziza still had tears streaming down her face when we all met back up in the family room. She said she would never have dreamt that she would ever live in such opulence and grandeur. She and Leeya hit it off right from the start. Aziza kept hugging her and rubbing her little pot belly. Leeya told her that she’d made it her project to teach Hibbah English and Aziza was ecstatic

It seemed that everyone waited to say prayers until we’d returned home. We went to the classroom and after laying out our prayer rugs, said prayers. Aziza was very emotional as she offered her thanks and praise for the help of a family that didn’t even know her or Hibbah.

That night in bed, Priya was unusually quiet. She wanted to snuggle, but said she had a lot on her mind and didn’t feel like any hanky-panky. I asked her about the ass fucking she said she wanted earlier, but she just said she’d take a raincheck.

Things were pretty much the same for the next week. Aziza settled into our routine and Jamie seemed to take to her new job with gusto. She proved to be very efficient and her translations were fast and accurate. Hibbah was getting antsy about leaving the hospital; her stump was healing fine without any complications. She was taken off the intravenous drugs and given pain pills instead.

Things became a little strange at home. First, there was a pow-wow between the four wives and I wasn’t invited. Then, a few nights later, I came home early to find Mom and Dad in a meeting with everyone except Tina, who was watching the girls. I asked her what was going on, but she played dumb and started texting someone on her phone.

At dinner, everyone was closed-lipped about it and I asked, “So, what was the conference about earlier? Am I included in this family or what?”

Dad spoke up and said, “We’ve been discussing an issue. You’ve got a lot on your plate with Hibbah and work, so we felt we’d arrive at a consensus before discussing it with you.”

“Decide what?” I asked, “Isn’t anyone going to give me a clue?”

Priya answered saying, “It’s something important, Sean, and we all want to be in agreement before we bring it to you. All I can tell you now is, please bear with us for one more day. Tomorrow all will be made clear.”

I was a little angry and hurt that I wasn’t included in these discussions — whatever they were about. I felt that they owed me that much and I said so. I said to no one in particular, “What, I’m not important enough in this family to be included in these discussions?”

Everyone looked at Dad. I asked, “So you’re the deciding vote here?”

Dad looked at Mom and she nodded. He looked at each of my wives and they nodded also. He sighed and answered, “Yes, Sean, I am the deciding vote.”

He looked at Priya and gave a slight smile and nodded. He turned to me and said, “Sean, you’re right. After dinner, we’ll sit down and discuss it. I will tell you that you have you to promise to be calm and hear everyone out. Can you do that and not fly off the handle about things?”

Tiya looked mighty scared and watched my expression intently. I asked her, “Is this about you?”

She started to cry and nodded silently. I opened my arms to her and she shuffled quickly to my lap, wrapping her arms around my neck and burying her face in my neck. I rubbed her back and reassured her saying, “Tiya, why cry? You know that there’s nothing in the world you can’t come to me with. I would never get mad at you for coming to me with your problems. I love you, I love you very much.”

She raised her head and asked me, with a quivering lip “Do you?”

Then I knew.

I kissed her nose and answered, “Well now, it seems we do have to talk after dinner, don’t we?”

She smiled and nodded silently. I sighed and said, “It’s okay, Sweetie. Whatever it is, we’ll get through it, won’t we?”

She nodded and went back to her seat and slowly started to eat. Everyone else took that as a cue and started eating also. As I ate, all those little lolita-like teases and my joking at the hospital came flooding back as I replayed them in my mind. As I watched her eat, I recalled those moments in time where she, as a little girl, made an impression on me. I wanted to kick myself for not seeing it sooner; but then, hindsight is 20/20.What in the hell was I going to do now?

I looked around the table and every one of my wives had an imploring look while Mom and Dad gave me faint smiles. Aziza and Jamie were looking around trying to figure out what just happened. The rest of the meal was finished in relative silence, barring some discussion about Hibbah, and we all pondered the ensuing discussion to come.

As we retired to the family room, I told Jamie to tell Aziza, “Whatever you hear in this house stays in this house, understand? I mean that!”

They both nodded. I reiterated my statement by saying, “You may hear things that are private and a lot of people’s lives are at stake. Never breathe a word of what you hear — to anyone!”

They both agreed and looked a little frightened at what they might hear. I sat on the couch with Priya next to me on my right and Leeya on my left. Monaavi and Miko sat on the sectional with Tiya in between them with their arms around her and Pita next to Miko. Dad and Mom sat on the love seat with Jamie and Aziza on the far end of the sectional. Tina took the girls to the classroom to play.

No one knew who was going to start, so I said, “If we’re going to discuss what I think we’re going to discuss, then everyone here is an adult, talking about adult issues. Agreed?”

Everyone nodded. I said, “Well, is someone going to tell me what this is all about?”

Priya turned slightly and said, “Tiya has something she wants to say to you, Sean.”

Tiya started to cry and Monaavi and Miko stroked her back telling her everything was okay. She looked at me with imploring eyes and I smiled and said softly, “Tiya, tell me what it is you want to say. I’m not mad, or angry, and I have an idea of what this is about, but if we are going to discuss this, you need to tell me exactly how you feel.”

She whispered “I love you.”

“What, Sweetie, I didn’t hear you.”

She cocked her head and said with such emotion, “I love you Sean. I’ve been in love with you for five years. I wanted so much to be your wife and since you married Miko, my heart has been slowly dying inside.

“I love you, I want to marry you. I want to have your babies and be a sister wife to Priya, Leeya, Monaavi and Miko. I just can’t go on with this love inside me for you; it’s tearing me apart. Please, Sean, please love me!”

Now she was sobbing. I knew it was coming, but it still hit me like a ton of bricks when I heard it. Suddenly, years of memories of watching her grow and flower and become a lovely, strong and elegant young woman flashed before my eyes. I never thought about loving her that way. I never had an improper thought about her either. All these years, I’ve seen her in various stages of undress and even up until a few years ago, had seen her in her panties without giving it a second thought.

I looked at Pita and asked, “Well, what’s your opinion on what she’s just said?”

Pita smiled and said, “I want to see her have your children.”

I silently nodded, turned back to Tiya and replied softly, “But Tiya, I already have four wives; that’s all I’m allowed. I certainly won’t divorce any of my wives to marry you.”

She gave a composing sniffle and answered, “I don’t expect you to. Do you accept some rules of Islam and not others to suit your purpose?”

Puzzled, I asked, “What do you mean? I don’t think I like where this discussion is headed. I’ve tried to be a good Muslim: you all know that.”

Priya cut in and said, “Sean, in order for us to be where we are today, we, along with the Imam in India, have been playing fast and furious with the Koran and we all know it, but we knew it was for the best”

“No, Priya, I don’t,” I responded a little tersely. “Why don’t you explain it to me?”

“Alright I will,” she said standing up. “The Koran states that a girl is only eligible to marry at the age of nine or when she reaches menarche. With the Imam’s blessing, you broke that law twice and almost a third time with Emmy. Leeya was five: no Islamic code stopped you from marrying her, did it? Or what about marrying Faatina: she was basically a baby, yet you were allowed to marry her, weren’t you? And Emmy, she was eight and hadn’t had a period yet. In each of these cases, Imam gave you permission to marry someone the Koran said was forbidden to marry because of her age. Islam does have the reputation for allowing child marriages.

“Muhammad had twelve wives and an untold number of concubines despite the rule of only having four wives. Remember, you told me that Ayatollah Khomeini wrote that it’s permissible to have anal sex with a baby. King David had nine wives along with his concubines and King Solomon had seven hundred wives and three hundred concubines. Even the holy men of the God of Abraham had more than four wives.

“Lastly, legally, I am your only wife. Leeya, Monaavi and Miko are wives in name only because of a ceremony. Are they any less your wives? Why is it alright to break one rule in the Koran and observe another?”

I was shocked and my open mouth expressed vividly the sudden realization that she was right. I turned to Dad and asked, “Dad, you were against my marriages to Leeya and Emmy from the start. How do you feel about this?”

Dad smirked and replied, “I feel like everyone else here does. Let me add to what Priya has said. You have broken countless laws and continue to break them. If convicted, you would spend your next five lives in prison, not to mention destroying all your wives’ lives in the process. I think Tiya is more mature and ready for this than either Leeya or Emmy was. How would our lives change if you had a secret ceremony and married her? She’d still live in this house, she’d still be a member of this family and, she would make a wonderful addition to your family.

“I have come to accept that there are times in peoples’ lives when they are ready for these steps. In my opinion and your mother’s too, we would approve.”

I looked around the room at my wives and they were all nodding. I asked them point blank, “How do you, as my wives, feel about this?”

Leeya said, “I’d love to have Tiya as a sister wife.”

Miko answered, “Me too. I think she deserves to be one of us. She would love you with her life and protect you like all of us would.”

“Monaavi?” I asked, “How do you feel?”

She looked at me smiling and answered, “Sean, I deeply feel this would be a good thing for all of us.”

Tiya moved to the floor at my feet and took hold of me around my knees and pleaded, “Oh, Please Sean, please! I don’t care if you call me your wife, your concubine or whatever. I just want to spend the rest of my life loving you, bearing your children and being loved by you!”

“But Tiya,” I replied, “I’ve never thought of you in intimate terms.”

“Could you?” she asked.

I smiled and answered, “I don’t know, Baby, I don’t know, but I have to tell you all, you’ve thrown me for a loop here. I never thought I was disobeying the Koran, but I have. You are all right in that if I were to take another wife, Tiya would be a lovely choice. I love you deeply, Tiya, I just don’t know if I could love you as a wife. I’ve never been attracted to you like that before. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where we go from here?”

Priya smirked and said, “Court her, you idiot! Woo her and see if that spark is there!”

Leeya chimed in with, “Get your letch up, Sean, trust me, she’ll like it!”

Everyone chuckled and Mom put in, “Leeya, only you would say something like that!”

Miko spoke up and said, “Take her for a walk in my garden and see if the winds of nature sing to you.”

Tiya looked into my eyes, our faces mere inches away from each other’s and she leaned in and gave me a soft closed mouth kiss. “I love you, Sean,” she said softly, “I want to be yours forever and ever.”

“Alright, Sweetheart,” I replied, “Let’s take a walk.”

We stood and went out the back door and down the garden path. We walked slowly over the arched bridge to the gazebo, Tiya hugging my arm and sat looking out over the pond. Tiya took my hand and held it in her lap and softly said as she looked at our hands in her lap, “Sean, I know I’m not smart like the others, and I’m not pretty like them either. I don’t have any breasts and probably never will, but I love you. I love you with every fiber of my being. Could you find it in your heart to love a girl like me?”

“Attiya,” I answered, “You are more than enough woman for any man. Many men would be proud to love you. I think I might be able to love you that way, but let’s take it slow and see if we can make this work. Okay?”

She turned and looked up and I kissed her. She moaned into my mouth and when I went to put my arm around her, my hand accidentally brushed on her tiny breast. She shivered and I broke the kiss and apologized, telling her it was an accident. She replied, “I don’t care. If you want me here, right now, I’m yours. I know I’m not a fully grown woman, but I’m not a child either. I know what I want.”

We kissed again and as she played with my hair as we kissed, her little tongue probed my mouth with such longing and desire. She started crying and said, “Oh God, I want you! I want to be yours so much, Sean, please love me.”

“I will, Baby, I will. Just be a little patient, okay?”

She nodded as she sniffled and asked, “Will you kiss me again and touch me?”

“Are you sure Tiya that this is what you want?”

“More than anything else in the world!”

We kissed again and I brought my hand up to her breast. I unbuttoned the top three buttons on her shirt and as we kissed, I slowly pushed my hand inside her blouse and brushed my fingers across her turgid nipple. All she had were some puffy nipples without any breast pad, but she went limp in my arms and shuddered when I gave her puffy nipple a gentle squeeze. I was firm, but when she came, I was suddenly rock hard.

I broke the kiss and said, “Tiya, thank you for letting me have you this way. I think we should stop for now. I don’t want to do anything more just yet. Can you understand?”

“Yes, Sean, I will obey you in all things.”

“Hmmm,” I said shaking my head with a grin, “my wives have been grooming you well, haven’t they?”

“They’re trying,” she said with a smile and a giggle.

We walked back to the house and once inside, she made no pretense about kissing me in front of everyone.

I walked into the family room as Tiya shuffled up the stairs giggling. When I stepped into the family room, everyone was waiting with baited breath to find out what happened. Leeya spotted my erection through my jeans and giggling said, “Oh yeah! She got his letch up real good!”

Everyone got a laugh at my expense: even Aziza and Jamie were red-faced laughing.

When the laughter died down, Mom looked at me seriously and said, “Sean, she’ll give you a son, I just know it.”
