Introduction - About the story
This is an experimental story I wrote some time ago and have only recently returned to. It is an experiment in tension and I have no idea whether it works or not.
Mac is a loner, a 'fixer', a go-between. He is asked, as a favour, to 'baby sit' the daughters of a businessman who is having some problems. What should be a boring week in the country becomes fraught with danger and turns Mac's world upside down.
