Knotinghill Episode 14: Ropemaker I looked towards the woman hog-tied on the floor next to me, she was not older then my mother (Erica), and not younger then Stacy (Andrea’s Daughter). She was dressed in pants and had a flannel shirt on. Her hair was put in a ponytail. - We can’t stay here forever. It is too accessible from the road. But it will do for the night and most of tomorrow. Erica said. Andrea digs out the maps from the bag, and made room on the table next to the television set. She laid out the maps, she and Erica sat down looking at the maps, while Stacy was looking for food. The woman looked at me, her eyes was wide open. She had figured out I was a male dressed in women’s clothing. I tried to look away, but still her beauty made me look at her. She most have thought I was some kind of perverted freak, and sort of she was right… but to my defense I was forcefully an crossdresser. At the night. The sun had gone down for the day. The woman and me were put in bed (separate beds), and I could hear that the television set was on in the living room. The living room. All three women were siting around the table, eating on some sandwiches. The news was on. It was an interview with Mr. Tom B. Raider: Assistant DA. He was interviewed at the burned down cabin. He told the camera how he and Mr. Ben Dover from the State Police had been trying to rescue a kidnapped woman, and how they had been held at gunpoint. Tied up and gagged. How they had feared for their lives. And that they now had issued a nationwide search for these women. They showed some phantom scratches on the television. The women were feared to be armed and dangerous. A reward for $100.000 was issued. The women laughed. An Erica said that Ropes has never hurt anyone, and that males should wear it more often to prevent them from doing stupid things. More laughs. I am not sure when I dozed off, but I was brutally wakened by a bucket of cold water thrown at me by Stacy. - Wake up lazy. Time to move on. She yelled. She helped me up, and we (the other woman and me) were marched into the living room. Stacy found her gun, and pointed at me while Andrea untied me. I massaged my limbs. I was told to drink a lot of water, to do my business and put on some comfy walking shoes. All the time I was under the watchful eye of Stacy. I put on some sneakers that were in the closet. I drank about a bottle of water, before I went to the bathroom to relief myself. I was retied after I was done. I was tied with a stick between my arms and back, kind of the “prisoner of war” type tie that I had seen in the old movies. My mouth was gagged with a scarf wadded up, and put between my teeth, while other scarf was keeping it inside. The woman was tied the same way as I was. She seems to be very flexible and strong. Then we went outside. The car was dumped with fuel, and a timer made by an electronic stopwatch and wire was fixed to light up the fire at a set time. We were marched into the woods. After a few hours up into the woods, we could hear a loud explosion. It was the car set on fire. A large smoke mushroom that we could barely see the top off was visible behind us. We were on a path that should leads us up into the mountains, toward “freedom”. According to Erica, we were set to reach a cabin called the Ropermaker’s cabin, that had belonged to an famous Ropemaker. It was night before we reached it, and to everyone surprise it was inhabited. Erica went up to the door, and knocked on. The door was open by another woman. She was pointing a rifle towards Erica. - Are you okay Daria? She yelled.
