To copy my site and make it available on your hard drive for offline viewing, you need to download and unzip the 5 files below into a single location. I strongly suggest you make a new folder and name it something cool, like "rache" because all the htm files need to be in the main directory. That's everything in "rache_112210.zip" including the sol.css file. Unzip that into a folder and then unzip the the other four into the same location, they come in their own subdirectory file folders. That's important otherwise the links won't work, see?Here's the basic files you'll need to get started:

These are the updates and you need ALL of them installed in sequence (month/day/year):

You need to download all the updates and copy the files into the appropriate folders. Install the files in sequence, oldest to newest. If you install them out of order you may end up with older (out of date) files that you don't want or need. When you copy the files, just overwrite the old file versions when prompted, it'll be okay. I promise.
There are also some nice to have files which go in the same main directory if you want them:
For the Comics: You need to ensure they're in a sub-folder called "toons"

My evil desktop is "rache" and my sweet Inspiron is "Kylie" and my Dell Mini is "T.S.Severe" (cause she's got a little dick.)NEW NOTE 12/27/10 - The "Anarchy for Beginners" htm file and directory are now included (as of the third update) so you'll need that sub-folder, okay? The "updates" folder is just where I'm keeping copies of the zip files on my hard drive, you don't have to worry about that one. The catch-22 is that I can't update this page until after I've uploaded the update and know what the link is...So, check back here around Dec 28 or 29 and I should have this page updated with the third update for you to download.
I'll be posting "updates" whenever it seems reasonable to do it. Whatever new files I add to the site over time. Instead of reposting the entire site, it's easier just to zip up the files and you can add them to the appropriate directories as you desire. I'm not doing this just for you, btw, but for me too. I really need a safe, reliable, online backup of my site and this is how I'm doing it. So don't feel guilted into downloading something you don't even want!
PS - Please be aware that some of the directories can and do include unused files, like "working" web pages and graphics that I saved and later discarded in favor of something else. So some of the files are redundant and even nonsensical if you look at them, but trying to weed them out isn't really easy sometimes. I apologize for that and hope you'll forgive my lazy bookkeeping.
