Actually, it was called the "Holy Temple of the Azure Spirit, guarding the Spring of Life". But most people referred to it simply as the Water Temple. Niu had worked and lived here as a disciple for almost all of the thirteen years of her life. It had made her quite indifferent to all the suffering she had to witness. Hordes of people were coming to the Temple every day in hope of getting granted their wish: being allowed to use the water from the Spring of Life. If you drank it, it could cure any illness. Dowsing limbs into it healed wounds and even removed the scars. Bathing in the water did not only cure paralysis but even restored lost body parts. It was even said to have the power to remove the burden of the years and make old people become young again. Which would've explained why the keeper of the Water Temple, Niu's master, still looked like a young woman although she was over three hundred years old. Niu faked a smile. "I'm sorry, but the priestess won't be able to see you. Please go back to your home." She had said these lines probably a thousand times before. Other than assisting her master in performing the sacred rites, Niu's job was to tend to the numerous pilgrims. Which meant to reject most of them. Her master, the priestess Althura, was a very busy person. Or rather, she hated seeing the pilgrims. Althura usually preferred the company of her opium pipe. When Niu had just begun working at the Temple, she had felt very sorry for all the people. They traveled to the Water Temple from far away, in hope of being cured... and then they were sent home without even being seen by the priestess. These days, she couldn't have cared less for them. Niu had seen so much misery in her life. Whenever there was a war, there were people missing limbs, or missing eyes, ears and noses. She had seen people with wounds that never stopped bleeding. Infected wounds that caused the living body to decay. There were people that coughed up blood, people with ulcers so big that they could hardly walk. Others had boils all over the skin that looked terribly inflamed... or their skin came off in huge chunks and exposed the raw flesh. These sick people were coming here because they were clinging to the hope that there was some divine power that could make them whole again. Niu had heard that many of these people committed suicide soon after being rejected by the priestess. Niu didn't feel sorry for them anymore. She mainly felt sorry for herself. Words of what happened inside the Water Temple never reached the outside world. It was only the priestess and her young disciples. They had to leave the temple once they reached the age of sixteen. But most of them didn't live long enough for that. Aside from smoking opium, the priestess' joy in life was dealing with her disciples. Which meant punishing them. The rules of the Temple were so many that no one could ever know all of them. There were hundreds of absurd sins that could be committed by accident. Punishment was never anything short of cruel. Althura was an avid collector of instruments of torture that she used excessively on the girls' naked bodies. The silky white dress that Niu wore when tending to the pilgrims concealed countless scars all over her body. What it couldn't conceal was the fact that she was walking with a limp because her leg had been broken some years ago. But broken bones weren't by any means the worst that could happen to one of Althura's disciples. Many of the sins were punishable by death... and the priestess never failed to deliver this punishment. Sometimes the priestess was so wasted that she wasn't able to meet any pilgrims or even punish her disciples for days. In these cases, the oldest of the disciples had to carry out the punishments themselves. Niu had whipped the naked asses of younger girls numerous times. It didn't even bother her anymore. She carried out the punishments with an indifferent look on her face, ignoring any pleads for mercy. It had earned her the nickname 'Stone-cold Niu' among the younger disciples. Althura didn't particularly like Niu though. The priestess preferred younger girls. Girls that screamed, that wetted themselves in fear. Niu had a feeling that she would die within the next three years. Accused of some random mortal sin. She had accepted that thought a while ago. This world was a shithole anyway. Hell couldn't be that much worse. There was some commotion going on. Usually, the pilgrims stood in a long line and patiently waited for the priestess to see them... or rather for being sent home by one of her disciples. When one of the people tried to cut in line, it caused a stir. And exactly that was happening right now. Niu couldn't quite believe her eyes when she saw the person who was causing this ruckus. It was a tall young woman with a long red ponytail. She was very pretty and had an amazing body, but her clothing was really shameless. Niu quickly realized that the woman was outright insane. After getting into a dispute with another woman, she pushed her to the ground and stomped with her leather boot so many times against that woman's head until it broke open and her brain was oozing out. Niu was speechless. She had seen a number of deaths, but never had she seen anyone being killed so quickly and in such a nonchalant way. When someone tried to seize the maniacal redhead, she drew her sword and effortlessly cut the other person in half. The blade went right through the woman's waist as if it was a knife cutting butter. Niu was stunned. Only now she realized that one of the younger girls was clinging to her arm. Her voice sounded as if she would start to cry any moment. "Please, Niu, do something! She will kill us all!" Niu just laughed quietly in amazement. "Do? What can I do?" By now, the red-haired madwoman had managed to clear out the line in front of her. Screaming people were running away in all directions to avoid being killed by her. Finally, she stood right in front of Niu. The woman was a lot taller than her and she still had the bloody sword in her right hand. Niu's whole body was tingling in a form of excitement that she had never witnessed before. This was death, standing right in front of her. Niu was ready to die, ready to accept it. She just had never thought that it would come in such a mesmerizing way. "Oi, little shit. Lead me to that spring you have here." Niu took a deep breath. "I'm sorry, but the priestess won't be able to see you. Please go back to your home." Then she closed her eyes. To her surprise, she wasn't cut into pieces instantly. Instead, the woman grabbed her by the collar and lifted her up so that she was seeing her face to face. Niu was shivering in fear and excitement. The woman really looked pissed off. Niu's upper body leaned against the woman's huge breasts. They were very soft and warm. Niu was an orphan. For some strange reason she felt as if this insane woman in front of her was the closest to a motherly figure in her short life... a life that would end any second now. "Look." the woman said. "I've been having quite a shitty week. My cock itches so bad that I'm in a good mood to cut it off by now. I can hardly sleep at night. All these whores with their filthy asses are really getting back on me now. My only wish is that I can wash my dick in your sacred fountain or whatever it is. That can't really be asking for too much, can it?" That was the most obscene request Niu had ever heard. Her master would be outraged if it reached her ears. Her master... Niu gathered all her courage and looked into the woman's eyes. "But I can't decide that on my own. Only the priestess decides who gets to use the Spring of Life and who doesn't." Within a moment, Niu found herself on her feet again. "Then lead me to that fucking priestess!" It was as if the devil herself had commanded Niu. Of course she complied. Leading an outsider into the Holy Temple without being granted permission by the priestess was a big sin. Punished by death without an exception. Niu was trembling so heavily that she had to pull herself together to be even able to walk forwards. Finally, they reached the priestess' chamber. In harsh contrast to the rest of the Water Temple, it was luxurious beyond belief. Aristocrats were willing to pay any amount to get themselves or their family members cured from grave illness. Althura was wearing a dark-blue silk gown that was embroidered in gold. The slender white-haired priestess dropped her opium pipe and got up from her sofa as soon as this unlikely pair entered the room. Her deep red eyes were sparkling with anger. "What are you doing here, Niu? You know that you're not allowed to let anyone in!" The red-haired woman gnashed her teeth. "Not like there's anyone that could keep me out of your shitty temple anyway." She spat on the ground. She actually spat on the ground inside the priestess' chamber inside the Holy Temple! Niu didn't even dare to breathe. Althura glared at the maniac. "If you think that you can force your way through to the Spring of Life, I will have to disappoint you. I have divine powers that have been granted to me by the Azure Spirit. There is no way you're..." In the blink of an eye, the redhead rushed forward and stabbed the priestess with her sword. Niu had never seen any movement so swift. The sword stuck in the priestess' gut and came out of her back. Blood was splattering to the floor in large amounts. Her face made it obvious that priestess was in extreme pain. The redhead smiled. "Sorry, did I interrupt you? Well, go on. Isn't it about time that you show me those impressive divine powers you were talking about?" The priestess wanted to answer something, but only blood came out of her mouth. Her killer continued this one-sided conversation. "Or is it that you can't bring out these powers when you're in great pain? Is that so? Well in that case..." The woman drew her sword upwards so that it cut through the priestess ribs and into more vital organs. "...I'll make sure that your pain never ends!" Althura probably used all the divine power she could gather to be able to even talk at this moment. "Listen. I'll give you whatever you want. Bring me to the Spring... Bathe me in the water..." Niu clenched her fists. Tears were running over her face. And there wasn't a single tear of pity among them. She really hated seeing her master pleading. This woman had killed so many of her disciples without batting an eye. In Niu's eyes she had no right to plead. It was undignified. Niu shook her head. "You don't need the priestess. I can lead you to the Spring of Life as well. There's no one else guarding it." Althura didn't even have time to get angry at her disciple betraying her. The red-haired woman drew the sword further upwards, not only cutting the priestess' heart, but in consequence also splitting her head in two neat halves. The priestess' dismembered body fell to the floor. It really happened. Right in front of Niu's eyes, her master had been killed in the most atrocious way. To her surprise, the next thing she knew was that she was slapped across the face by the crazy killer. "If we don't need the priestess, why do you lead me to her? Playing games with me, huh? I don't like that... But we'll talk about that later. Right now, I really need that healing water for my cock." To emphasize her words, she violently scratched her bulging crotch. Niu nodded. Her cheek was burning like fire from the woman's slap. Trying her best to move quickly despite her limp, Niu led the woman downwards to the underground cave that contained the Spring of Life. She carried a torch with which she lit the way for this strange intruder. On the way down Niu also learned her name. She couldn't deny that she was strongly attracted to this insane woman called Fel. As soon as they had reached the Spring of Life, Fel undressed and jumped into the water. Her penis really looked terribly sore. Also, it stunk quite bad. A unique stench, not similar to anything that Niu had ever smelt before. It was as lewd as it was disgusting. Fel visibly enjoyed dowsing her cock in the holy water of the spring. She pulled back her foreskin and cleaned it affectionately. Niu had never seen anyone touching their penis in such a way. Masturbation had been strictly forbidden for the disciples. She felt her own becoming stiff and producing a bulge in her silky dress. Some bubbles came to the surface of the water. Fel grinned at Niu. "No joy like farting while taking a bath!" The smell got a lot worse. Just when Niu wondered how much of a sacrilege one could commit, another entity took notice of Fel's behavior. The Azure Spirit who was living in the Spring of Life and was responsible for its healing powers took the form of a pretty little girl. Her skin as well as her long hair, eyes and frilly clothes all were in different shades of blue and light green. She had an annoyed look on her face as she was floating towards Fel. "What impudence! Who granted you permission to enter this cave?" Niu had never seen the spirit before. She had no doubts about the spirit's incredible powers, but her voice actually sounded like that of an angry little girl. Fel rushed towards the spirit. When she reached her, she caught her in a passionate embrace. "Oh, you're cuuute! Who are you? Oh, I know, I know! You're some kind of water demon, huh?" It seemed to be love at first sight. But while Fel was really enjoying herself while she almost suffocated the Azure Spirit between her huge breasts, the blue girl's anger seemed to grow with every second. "I am no devil, I am the Azure Spirit! Master of the Lake! I'll turn you into a block of ice if you don't... hmpff... hmphh!" Her words were muffled by Fel's boobs that she found her face pressed against. "Aww, don't talk like that, Azu! I love cute little spirits like you! And what powers you have... look at my cock! It's really been healed!" Niu was amazed. The woman who had been going on a rampage just a few minutes ago was now standing in the middle of the sacred lake, laughing and flirting with the Azure Spirit. If you could even call that flirting. She was basically drowning the spirit in her boobs. Turning around to Niu, Fel made a proud declaration. "Listen up, Niu and Azu! I'm in a good mood today! And it's no fun to travel alone when I'm in a good mood! Thus I'll take you two with me! From today onwards you'll be my comrades!"
