Welcome to my latest project. I have been a reader of Internet erotic fiction for almost a decade. I have read so many stories that I can't keep them straight and it's getting harder to find new stories. So voila, the reason for this site. It's a simple links collection to what I think are some of the better erotic stories the net has to offer. Part favorites list and part catalog.

The majority of stories will be links as most stories are already available on ASSTR and there is little point having multiple copies on the same file on one server or trying to contact people to get permission to post their stories when they just are not around any more.

This is just my list but I certainly hope others will follow in a similar fashion with their own favorites lists. Who's knows maybe someday with enough people we could create a database of recommendations like what exists on www.mcstories.com so it becomes that much easier to find people with similar tastes.

I am just starting this list as of the December of 2003. It's a rough start so don't except too much too soon. I haven't maintained a list stories I have read so I basically have to go by memory and rediscover stories. I'll also create short synopsis of the stories as I reread them. Feel free to send me story suggestions though formsmail. I repeat links may not work yet. Like I said, it's a rough start.

Maybe I should consider a blogging engine. Anyway, I found links to many stories. I'm wondering if I should not just go whole hog and use XML and either rendering the pages myself to XHTML locally for uploading or rendering XML directly in the browser though XSLT. Probably the former. If I did that then I could render HTML pages for Internet Explorer and older browsers as well without me having to manually maintain multiple sets of files. More to come.

I'm definitely sure that I should do this site completely in XML files and generate pages from that. ASSTR is having a wee bit of trouble getting the server to send the correct MIME types for XHTML pages. In the meanwhile I'll try getting formsmail working just for something quick to do, not because I think there are tons of people dying to contact me except maybe to complain.

Some weeks thereafter...

ASSTR can now finally properly serve XHTML files and you can all now send comments.

Sometime in March...

It's now the middle of march and I have suffered the major loss of my hard drive with all my data archive of ASSTR which after stories and sites have been deleted was more valuble than one would think. I wish I had purchased that DVD recorder for myself for Christmas now. The whole incident has left me a bit depressed. I'm currently running an all FreeBSD desktop at the moment vs. the XP pro I was using before. I had to start over and I already had freebsd installed on this second drive so I'm going with that for now. The funny thing is that the only thing that survived was the major portion of my porn collection which I kept on this hard drive. Boy did I learn my lession the upteenth time around.

I promise I'll get around to an actual site design but this will have to do for now.

Well it's a middle of Augest now and I still havn't done much with this site, partially since I havn't read any stories since then. So I ask all you good people to please submit story suggestions for clssic and/or well written stortes you think I would add to my list.
