_3 am_

awake
in blackness
3 am alone
bleak

my
memory dances
flashes of you
whisper of a smile
wink of an eye

the
soft caress
of thigh
and touch
of velvet skin

and
my soul
writhes and twitches
to the tempo
of a remembered heartbeat

so
i walk alone
in pain
in a waking hell
of my own making

and
i do not wish
to live without you
but i am not yet
allowed to die

now
i do not know
how i go on
or how i can be whole
without you

perhaps
some day
i will reach out
take back my soul
and walk away
alone

_remembrance_

soft warm flesh
pressing against me
my pulse racing
heart beating faster
i'm growing hard and sliding
between caressing asscheeks

to gentle music
of sleepy moans
my hand cups breast
and fondles nipple
erecting now
beneath my touch

thighs part
legs intertwine
wet hungry lips
press gently down
against invading thigh
demanding more

tongue and teeth
play quietly insistently
on ear and lobe
and jawline
on nape of neck
and shoulder

roving hand
strokes gently downward
'cross smooth savannah
of lusting flesh
to tangled thatch of hair
and beyond

finger strokes
'tween dampening lips
slick folds of pouting flesh
envelop and engulf
intruding digit
welcoming and embracing me

slow penetration
yields gentle whimper
rippling muscles gripping tighter
plead for thickness
depth and hardness
satisfaction now

consciousness returning slowly
gentle stretching finger slipping
rigid penis asks for entry
your body urging
pressing downward
wet lips parting

now i enter
pressing deeply
sheathed inside you
as we join and gently couple
souls commune
combine and merge

as sensations overwhelm
the universe distorts and twists
time suspends its forward journey
trapped and held in loving thrall
united lovers
work their magic

convulsions wrack mere mortal body
time released will travel onward
now awake i find you're gone
i'm 3 am alone again
and yet i smile in warm remembrance
and drift back to welcome sleep

though lovers found
may have to leave you
love once found
will ever linger
to light long nights
and warm the soul
