They have been arrived at after much research and medical advice. It is felt that they provide guidance that will allow for the cleanest most efficient executions under field conditions. Nothing in these instructions is to be taken in such a way as to interfere with executions performed in other than formal field conditions. Summary and prison executions shall follow their own instructions. \par} \pard\nowidctlpar\nooverflow\sl240\slmult1{\f0\lang1033\fs22\kerning28\par} \pard\nowidctlpar\nooverflow\sl240\slmult1{\f0\lang1033\fs22\kerning28 Required equipment- 1 large caliber pistol with expanding bullets. [ a rifle may be used if no suitable pistol is available provided there is a safe backstop ] Means to secure the prisoner such as a solid chair, post, tree, or wall and belts, handcuffs , ropes, or other means to fasten the prisoner to the chair or other item. [ it is felt that a chair with arms is the best means and should be used whenever one is available ] A blindfold or hood. Something to mark the aiming point which shall be located just to the left of and centered on the breastbone. A location not public unless for some reason a public execution is desired. A coffin or covered stretcher for removal of the body. Manpower necessary to insure control of both the prisoner and the nearby area, consider the possibility of a rescue attempt. \par} \pard\nowidctlpar\nooverflow\sl240\slmult1{\f0\lang1033\fs22\kerning28\par} \pard\nowidctlpar\nooverflow\sl240\slmult1{\f0\lang1033\fs22\kerning28 Staffing- Officer in charge, executioner, at least two witnesses, and medical personal competent to pronounce death.\par} \pard\nowidctlpar\nooverflow\sl240\slmult1{\f0\lang1033\fs22\kerning28\par} \pard\nowidctlpar\nooverflow\sl240\slmult1{\f0\lang1033\fs22\kerning28 Procedure of execution- A, Everything shall be in place and ready for use before the prisoner is brought to the place of execution. B, The prisoner shall be led to the place of execution blindfolded and secured. C, Once there she will be stripped and examined for signs of mistreatment. If any are found they will be noted. D, The charges and sentence will be read and the prisoner allow any last words. E, The prisoner will then be secured to the chair, post, or other item chosen. She will be bound by wrists, ankles, elbows, and waist. Other bonds may be used as needed to insure that she is properly secured. Any and all bonds shall be only as tight as necessary to secure her but not so tight so as to cause unnecessary pain. F, A priest or other spiritual advisor will be offered a short time to pray with the prisoner. G, The point of aim marker shall be placed to mark the desired impact point on the body. H, Upon the order the executioner will take aim and fire one round at the point of aim taking care to insure the bullet hits as to square to the body as possible. I, The prisoner will be allowed a period of time for involuntary movement to cease before being checked for signs of life. Five minutes is the recommended time. J, If after the waiting period there are still signs of life or it is felt that for some reason the shot placement was off the executioner shall place one more round so as to strike the lower rear of the skull. The entrance point will be left to the executioner and the O.I.C. and will depend upon local conditions . K. A check for signs of life following another waiting shall be performed. L, Repeat J and K if needed until death is pronounced. M, Remove body and dispose of it in whatever fashion was determined beforehand. N, Unless there are to be more executions clean area and burn or otherwise destroy anything other than army or personal equipment used to prevent martyr\u8217\'92s relics from being salvaged . \par} \pard\nowidctlpar\nooverflow\sl240\slmult1{\f0\lang1033\fs22\kerning28\par} \pard\nowidctlpar\nooverflow\sl240\slmult1{\f0\lang1033\fs22\kerning28 Notes- Shot placement, the chest shot is aimed at both the heart and the large vessels above it and uses bone fragments as well as the bullet to insure destruction. The head shot is meant to destroy the lower brain area at the base of the skull. Prisoners are not to be abused, taunted, or otherwise treated badly.
