We are sure that you will be pleased} {\fs22 with it now and for many years to come. To insure your continued satisfaction we recommend that you read the instructions thoroughly. \par}} \pard\nowidctlpar\nooverflow\sl240\slmult1{\f0\lang1033\fs22\kerning28 I- Overview ; The system is designed for a broad range of applications. It is easily transported with the optional trailering kit or may be truck mounted or transported. Simple enough to set up to used for a single execution yet capable of high rates of production when needed. It is designed so as to require almost no maintenance but in the unlikely event it does it is easily repairable in the field in minimal time with simple hand tools. \par} \pard\nowidctlpar\nooverflow\sl240\slmult1{\f0\lang1033\fs22\kerning28 II- Basic machine and optional kits; The system is constructed of materials that need no protection from the elements. All metal parts are stainless steel while the wooden structure is made of high quality wood that is laminated with colored epoxies that give it a long lasting finish that is durable and will not show minor dings. It will not allow rot no matter how deep any gouges are and is stable under all conditions . Kits are available for most needs and we are capable of supplying special needs . Common kits are, truck mounting, hoisting, guy wire kits, high production rates , soft ground support, lighting, remote location replacement parts, and wash down . Contact your local rep for these or any other special needs.\par} \pard\nowidctlpar\nooverflow\sl240\slmult1{\f0\lang1033\fs22\kerning28 III- Site requirements; The system is very tolerant of site defects. The machine itself requires a six by ten foot area. An overhead clearance of thirteen feet is required. Used without any guys or soft ground kits it will operate satisfactorily with a one inch per foot slope on any ground firm enough to drive on with a normal car or truck . For low production rates [ 1 pre hour or less ] the basic footprint is useable although cramped. We recommend a twenty foot square area for all uses as basic but smaller areas can be used. For higher production it will be necessary to allow room for infeed and removal of clients. We have found a fifty foot square to meet most needs. It is recommended that you contact us if you wish to use a platform mount. While the system in fairly light the shock loads and the weight for other items on the platform need to be allowed for. We have several sizes and types of platform drawings available. With the use of guy kits slopes of up to four inches per foot are allowed. The soft ground kit will allow any location that will support a man to be used. \par} \pard\nowidctlpar\nooverflow\sl240\slmult1{\f0\lang1033\fs22\kerning28 IV- Set up ; The system comes assembled and the only set up needed is to erect the mast. When using a trailering kit it will be necessary to lift the wheels clear of the ground using the built in wheel retraction device. If the site requires the guys and / or soft ground support should be installed according to the directions provided with them. In high production use it is strongly recommended that wash down kits be used and some provision be made for drainage.\par} \pard\nowidctlpar\nooverflow\sl240\slmult1{\f0\lang1033\fs22\kerning28 V- Use; The infeed table is run back to the tilt position and tilted to the vertical position . The client is strapped to the table using the provided straps. The client may be secured either face up or face down. [ We recommend that very obese clients be secured face up only.] Care should be taken to make sure the leading edge of the table is even with the top of the shoulders. If in doubt it is better to have the edge of the table lower. Once the client is secured the table is lowered and run in. While the client is being secured the blade is lifted using the blade lifting line. Once the blade has been lifted until the latch closes it is necessary to loop the lifting line over the line support so as to allow it to run free as the blade drops. Follow the diagram on the side of the mast. -NOTICE- This step is mandatory if the blade is to fall properly. Once the blade has snapped into the latch the client is slid under it until the table hit\u8217\'92s the stops. The semicircular neck support is placed over the neck and secured with the pins provided . The safety on the release handle is snapped open and the release handle is pulled with a firm study pull to release the blade. The client is allowed to bleed out before being removed, this usually takes between one and two minutes. At this point the table is run back to allow the removal of the client and the next one is loaded onto the table. \par} \pard\nowidctlpar\nooverflow\sl240\slmult1{\f0\lang1033\fs22\kerning28 VI- Production rates; Using the basic system an experienced crew should have no trouble servicing fifteen clients per hour. By using the optional kits and not waiting for the clients to bleed out rates of forty five per hour can be reached. Your service rep can offer guidance that will aid you in high rate situations.\par} \pard\nowidctlpar\nooverflow\sl240\slmult1{\f0\lang1033\fs22\kerning28 VII- Clean up and routine maintenance; A wash down with soap and water is all the system requires . Routine maintenance is limited to lubrication of the latch and latch release mechanisms . Use a light spray oil once a day. A regular inspection of the blade lifting line is also recommended. All bearings are sealed and require no care. The trailering kit will require the same care as you would give any trailer. If a lifting kit is installed to allow the system to be moved by crane it should be inspected before every lift. The guy kit should also be inspected before each use. Should the blade need sharpening it should be sharpened using suitable files only. Use the provided angle gauge to ensure the proper angle. Use of power grinders will void the warranty .\par} \pard\nowidctlpar\nooverflow\sl240\slmult1{\f0\lang1033\fs22\kerning28 VIII- Storage ; Because your system is constructed of only the finest materials it does not require any special care for long term storage beyond oiling the latch and release. We do offer a cover to protect the system and to ensure it always looks like new.\par } \pard\nowidctlpar\nooverflow\sl240\slmult1{\f0\lang1033\fs22\kerning28 IX- Warranty ; We warrant the basic system for ten years. All kits also carry a ten year warranty . Parts not covered are those subject to normal wear and tear such as the blade lifting line, the blade stop bumpers, running gear on the trailering kit, guy cables and latches, and the blade latch and release. These parts are covered if you have a service agreement with us. Misuse of the system will void the warranty on any misused parts.\par} \pard\nowidctlpar\nooverflow\sl240\slmult1{\f0\lang1033\fs22\kerning28 X- Training ; Training in use, maintenance, and repairs are offered at our factory. With the purchase of a system or a kit we will provide training for three people free except for transportation, rooming, and meals. Classes are held on a monthly basis. On site training is available at extra cost. \par} \pard\nowidctlpar\nooverflow\sl240\slmult1{\f0\lang1033\fs22\kerning28 XI- Limits of liability; We provide a quality product but because we cannot control the final use we must limit out liability. Therefore The Silver Sword corp. is not liable for any misuse of the system, any kits, of any parts. We are not liable for the deaths of any clients. We are not liable for any incomplete executions. We are not liable for system failures unless it is a clear failure of a warranted part irregardless of death or injuries.}}
