Subject: Angel's Wings (part 2)

What up peep this is my 1st story and after sitting back and reading

just pop up. I want to set up a story line first.

Aight I don't know N'sync or Bsb . Any thing about shows and cities or
hotels is coming straight from my exp. and imagination.

It seemes that some of you likeed the story so i'm goin ta keep on writing
just tell me what you think and i'll get bac ta ya.

Here is
Angel's Wings

***Lance***

The ride back to the hotel was quiet for everyone. But all I could think
about was "Shane" yeah that was his name. My dark haired, gray eyed,
tanned skinned, smooth faced Adonis. I could still feel his gentle touch on
my hand. Oh man what am I thinking, I yelled at him got him fired and made
him cry, and I think I could even call him mine, who's to say he would even
wanna talk to me ever.

"Hey Scoop, Scoop are you ok?" "Huh, Yeah what's up?"

"Nothing much I was jus wondering what you were thinking about with that
goofy look on your face?" Jc said causing me to blush a little.

"I'm not thinking about anything."

"You know what I'm thinking about?" Justin said to no one in
particular. "That cute waiter from the diner." That got my attention.

"What do you mean?" I said trying not to show that much interest. "Oh
come on, you didn't see his chest and his arms ohh and his butt, man I
could have some fun with that."

"Yeah I know, did you sere his eyes?" Chris added, "Forget his eyes I want
his ass."

I was totally shocked that Justin could take someone so beautiful and base
it down to just ass and arms.

"You know what, I'm gonna go back and get him to come with me to the club
tonight." Justin boosted. "What no way, I beat I can get to him first."
Chris always the one for a challenge. "No way you can beat me at this
one." "Do you wanna place some money on it curly." "This will be easy
money. Ok how much?"

"Well cause you're so sure make it a hundred." "Is that all you got old
man, make it three hundred." That got a round of ohh's from everybody.
"Alright young buck, 300."

"And what about you?" Josh asked me. "What about me?" "Are you going to
get into this"? Joey inquired. "No, its stupid we don't even know if he's
gay." "I have been known to convert a few." Justin said smugly. "Causing
them to go straight is nothing to boost about." Chris teased.

The ride back besides that little conversation was uneventful and I was
feeling a little tired so I went straight to my room. As soon as I lay
down there was a knock at my door. "What?" I yelled through the door
"It's Jc can I come in?" I got up and let him in. "So what's up Jc."? "I
was just wondering why you're not going to go after the guy at the diner?"
"I'm Just not interested" "Oh please." He said pushing my arm playfully "I
saw the look on your face when we were coming back to the hotel, admit it
you were thinking about him." "So what if I was there is no way I could
compete with Justin."

"Don't sell yourself short, if this guy is right for you he won't fall for
Justin's games." "Do you really think so?" "Damn right I do, and I'll
even put up your half for the bet." "Alright I'll try, but it's your
money." "Now go get ready to win." He said as he pushed me towards my
suitcases. "Ok, but hold up!" I said as I ran out the room and to Justin's
door. I knocked on the door a couple of times before he came out wearing
black jeans, and he was buttoning up his black and silver shirt. "Yeah
scoop, what's up?" "I'm in." I stated plainly and a smile started to dance
on his lips. As I walked away I could hear him say 'this is going to be
interesting."

***Shane***

After I left the restaurant I decided that I would go back home and get
some sleep. As I started driving my mind drifted (not the smartest thing
to do on a N.Y. street.) to the guy at the restaurant. He may have been an
inch taller than me. His blond hair and green eyes were amazing. His lips
were hot and even his accent when he was mad was kinda cute. I had to cut
my thoughts short due to the nun who was giving the finger and yelling at
me for not letting her cross the street on green. I made it home, finally
and decided I should sleep before going out. I woke up around 5. I
started getting ready and put all of my cloths out for tonight. I put on a
black tank top, with a blood red silk shirt, with black kakis. I decided
that I would wear my contacts tonight. I didn't really like the way people
look at my eyes. All I ever hear how beautiful and exotic they were. It
got annoying having people stare at me all the time. So I dawned my brown
tacs', fixed my hair and headed out.

***Lance***

After I got ready I looked myself over in the mirror. I had on a shiny
gray/white button up shirt with a dragon stitched in black on the back and
some black kakis. Once I was full and ready I grabbed my key card and
started towards the elevator but soon realized that I had no idea where I
could find Shane, because he was fired when we were leaving. So I turned
back and headed to Justin's room. After a while he opened up.

"Um J, how are we supposed to find Shane?" "Who?"

'The bet, remember." "Oh yeah, don't worry about it well go to his job and
ask somebody there where he lives."

"But what about Trish?" "Don't worry about her. Look go get Chris so we
can go." After getting Chris we all told Jc and Joey that we would meet
them later. We got to the hotel parking lot and saw that Justin rented a
Gold Mazda Millennia. We pulled up to the diner in like 15 mins.

"So what do we do now?" Chris asked. "We go in and ask where does Shane
live." Justin stated plainly. "And what if they won't tell us?" "Chris
voiced again. "We're N'sync we have our ways." As we climbed out and
headed towards the door it was about 6:10 so I hoped that Trish was gone.
No such luck there. She was at the front desk and she looked like she was
on her way out. "Ok I'll talk to her." Justin Offered.

"Your Funeral" Chris and Me said at the same time. He jus shrugged it off
and made his way over to her. "Um excuse me." Justin said trying his best
to work his charm on her. "Yes sir, I'll be right with you." She said as
she dialed a number.

"Where are you?" She yelled into the phone. "Yeah whatever Shane." That
got all of our attention. "All right park your little shit box front and
I'll be out." She hung up and then turned to us. "Hi gentle men may I-"
She trailed off form there "Oh its you, what?"

"Hi um we just wanted to stop bye a say we were sorry about earlier."
"Well I'm not the one you should be apologizing to.' She stated like she
didn't care what we wanted. "We know that." Chris took over. "We wanted to
talk to Shane."

"Oh." She said then she got this look on her face that showed she was
thinking a little. She looked at each of us in our eyes looking for
something and she said.

"He's dead." If I was the one to faint I would have but it came to me that
she was just talking to him on the phone. "Yeah-" She continued. "He was
doing fine then someone took his kindness and crushed it, he feel into a
depression and walked into busy traffic." She said all that with a straight
face and pushed past us. "Sandy I'm leaving." She yelled and this Big
Breasted chick came from the back wiping her hands with a towel. "Ok I'll
meet y'all there, which one is it again." "The Roxy- for the hundredth
time. And make sure you come. We'll be at the regular table." "Ok tell
Shane I said hi." Trish gave us a smile before she rushed out the door.
We practically chased her outside to see her scanning for something. Then
a maroon Navigator came around the corner stopping in front of her. "Hey
cutie wanna ride." Someone said from inside the car. "Yeah but I don't
think I have the right tools for the job." She answered back.

Whoever was inside rolled down the window and there he was. He looked so
cute in his leather jacket and his tan in the roof light of the car made
him look even hotter. Trish jumped in the car and before she rolled the
window up she flipped us off.

"So what do we do now?" Chris asked. "We follow them of course Justin said
already pressing auto start on the Mazda. We tried to keep up with them
but they got away in traffic. About 20 mins, later we found our way to the
club. "So what do we do now?" "We get in and it's everybody for
themselves." Justin said. After walking in and going to the second floor
to get a table, we separated to find Shane. Chris and Justin went to the
dance floor but I headed to the bar so I could scope from there. "So what
you'll have?" The bartender asked. "Um. Nothing right now I'm looking for
a friend."

"Are they a regular here?" He asked while cleaning a glass. "I don't
know." I said making the sound of disappointment clear in my voice. "Hey
kid don't get down, let me help." I thought about it for a minuet and
decided if it gave me an edge over Justin so be it. "Um I don't know much
about them yet, but I trying to meet them again." "Oh one of those cases."
He said I a voice that said he heard this before. "Ok so what was their
name?" "His name is Shane." "There are a couple of constant Shanes here
but to many to tell if the one you're talking about is the right one."

I got a little excited that he might know the Shane I was talking about.

"Do you know if he came with anyone tonight."

"I'm not sure but I think he came in with his friend Trish." Suddenly He
started to laugh. "Ha ha ha, the Trish that your talking about isn't a red
head is she?" He inquired with a wide grin. I nodded yes "And she's seems
that she could take your head off if she wanted to?" I nodded again,
unsure if I liked where this was going.

"Yeah they're here tonight in fact they are pretty popular in on stage
acts. They have their usual table right there in the corner." He pointed
over and it was right next to our table. "Oh man thanx I never thought I'd
find him." "We'll don't celebrate to soon." "Trish is very protective of
her friends and she may not even let you get close to him." "Why not, do
they go out?" I asked dreading the answer.

"Nope, they have been really good friends since he moved here." "Thanxs" I
said and started to move off towards the table. I passed Justin on the
dance floor and saw Chris now sitting at the table. "Did ya find him?"
"Yes and no." "What does that mean." "Well the good news is that his
table is right next to us. The bad news is that Trish will not that easy."
"What do you mean?" "Well she is said to be very protective of him." "But
wh-" "Shh" I cut him off. "Here they come. "Trish was talking to Shane as
they left the dance floor. He looked so hot in his Red silk shirt. When I
looked at his eyes I had to blink a couple of times, I guess his eyes
weren't gray but he still looked good with his brown chocolate eyes. Sweat
glazed over his muscles with the lighting in the room made him look so hot
I wanted to jump him right there. "So what do we do now?" Chris asked
eyeing Shane. I don't know, I'm afraid to do anything with Trish here."
We both listened and waited. "Alright hun, you wait here while I go get us
something to drink." Damn that was good timing I guessed that we had about
10 mins. before Trish came back with the drinks. "Alright we go over there
and introduce our selves." I said trying to build up nerve.

***Shane***

Ughh Trish had me dancing on the floor till I nearly dropped. And because
of all the people rubbing against us on the floor I had a couple of people
cop a feel on my ass, I swear that I saw the cute annoying boy crossing the
dance floor but when I looked again I saw this curly haired guy standing
right in front of me. I wasn't in the mood so I moved my head to the beat
trying to avoid his gaze into my eyes. But sure enough he didn't give up.
He acutely matched my moves and was mirroring me. He was pretty cute well
built and nice eyes, but right now all I wanted was someone to Love to,
look after, someone who wouldn't walk out on me cause I wouldn't jack his
jimmy stick, I want some one who will love me as much as I love them and
more. I caught a tear as it started to roll down my cheek cause I realized
that I might forever be alone. My thoughts were keeping me occupied until
someone decided to sit at my table. They waved their hand in front of my
face a couple of times before a blinked a couple of time getting the tears
out and I turned to who ever it was. To my surprise it was the annoying
blond from the restaurant. And I believe one of his friends from earlier
was with him too. "Hi." He said with his deep voice that made my heart
jump. "Hi" I said back also waving to his friend who sat in the
background. "Shane right?" I nodded. "Hi I'm James and this is my friend
Jason." He said pointing. I stood up and shook hands with them, and asked
them to sit with me.

***Open field***

Lance and Chris sat down with Shane so that they could all talk and get to
know one another better. "So what's up?" Shane asked trying to get the
ball rolling. 'Beside the tent in my pants.' Both Chris and Lance thought,
causing them both to blush at the same time. "Nothing." They both said
looking down at the table. 'O oh same time answers might be a cult, now's
the time to map out exits just incase they are psychos.' Shane thought
causing him to giggle a little bit. 'God he is so hot, his smile just
lights up the room and his laugh is like music, o-oh I'm talking like a
poet I think I had to much to drink'. Chris thought looking at his glass.
"Um I just wanted to say I'm sorry again." Lance said trying to break the
silence. "Don't worry about it I didn't so don't let it worry you." Lance
smiled seeing that Shane wasn't mad at him. "So what are you doing here?"
Chris asked trying to break ice with Shane. "I'm here with a friend on
mine, I think you might remember name Trish." Both Lance and Chris cringed
at the mention of her name. "Oh yeah I remember her, don't you James."
Chris said poking Lance in the ribs with his elbow. "Ye-yeah I remember."
Lance stammered out remembering his last encounter with Trish. "Don't
worry about her, I'll take care of it." Shane said reaching for Lances hand
but so realized what he had done when he saw Lance's face. "Sorry" He said.
"Don't worry about it." Lance said with a slight smile. 'Why did I flinch
like that, what I would give to feel his touch again.' 'Oh man' Shane
thought. 'Good thing I pulled away. I might have jumped him right on the
table.' "So do you live here?" Chris broke in. "Pending." Shane said
with a small smile. "What do you mean?" Chris asked. "I like to travel
but without friends to travel with it get boring quick. So I recently
bought a house here." "Where did live before here?" Lance inquired.
"Florida." "Do you have a house down there?" "Well it's the families but
basically yeah. What about you guys where do you live." "Well Originally
we're from Tampa Florida." "What about now?" "Um we move around a lot."
Chris answered. 'Red flag - cult / fugitive sign -not staying in one spot
to long so people can't find you. I wonder where Trish is' "So is it just
you two?" Shane asked trying to buy time till Trish came back. "No there
are three others." Chris explained. "Oh that's nice." 'Where the hell is
she.' Lance noticed Shane's lack of attention as he looked around the club.
"Is every thing ok?" he asked. "Huh - yeah just looking for my friend. Oh
here she comes." Trish walked over to the table placing the drinks down.
"Sorry I took so long hun, but I ran into some friends." "Yeah what ever
you were just trying to ditch me." Shane joked. "Nah, why would I leave my
safety net behind." She answered. "But it seems that you made some
friends." Then she turned to see who they were.

***Shane***

At first her eyes bugged out at Jason and James, I was wondering how long
it would take before we were going to have a repeat performance of this
morning. "Don't you people understand you can't abuse people cause of your
money?" Damn that didn't take long. I had no idea what she was talking
about but I wasn't going to let her tear into James and Jason like that
even after they had apologized. "Trish it's ok they apologized." I said
pulling her aside. "Besides I think I like one of them." I said looking
back at the table where James and Jason were watching us. I waved and they
waved back. "Who?" She said losing the anger in her voice "I'm not going
to say yet but I do like one of them." "But do you even know who-" "I know
I don't know if they are gay or not but I at least wanna get to know them."
"But don't you remember their names." Yeah they told me, Jason and James."
"Who?" She said looking lost. "See Jason and James." I said grabbing her
face and pointing. "She sighed a brief of defeat and headed back to the
table. "I'm sorry." She said to them both. "I was trying to look out for
my friend." "That's ok." Chris said with a smile. 'Cute smile' Shane
thought. "Um Shane hun, can you go to the bar and get us and the guys some
more drinks." I should have known something was up, she was being to damn
nice. But being me, I accepted.

***Lance***

O-crap the area that we were in seemed to have dimmed in light as Shane
started to walk away. "Jason and James-" Trish said with an evil gleam in
her eye. "- What are you doing, who are you trying to fool." "Huh?" Chris
and me said at the same time. "What do you mean?" "Don't play with me -"
She said "-come on Jason and James, how bout Lance and Chris." "Ok look it
looks like where just messing around here but it's hard to meet people who
don't know who you are." Lance explained. "Yeah we just wanted to feel
normal." Chris added. "So what happens when the night is over, you'll
leave him alone, probably believing that it was him that drove you away.
Look Shane is my friend and he is really trusting and caring. He's been
through a lot lately and he may few a little vulnerable. I get the feeling
that he is going to do something that may change how you see him. So I'm
telling you this," She said while grab a fork. "If you hurt him in any way
I will hunt you down and have you pissing through a tube for as long as I
see it fit that you live." She had me scared out of my wits and I'm sure
that Chris felt the same thing. Then she waked back over to her side of
the table and crossed her legs. When she wasn't yelling at you and
threatening to kill you she was pretty nice looking. After a few minutes,
talking Chris Trish and I we talking like friends. I knew she would be a
challenge to get her trust but once I did I would be glad to have her as a
friend. After a few minutes Justin came over to the table. "Hey guys have
any luck." "Um yeah Kyle, meet Shane's friend Trish, Trish Justin." She
said hi and told him to pull up a seat. "So where is he?" Justin asked.
"Hold up you all came here looking just for Shane?" Trish asked. Yeah we
all nodded. "For what?" "To apologize for earlier." Justin said in a
convincing voice. "Bull-shit 3 members of N'sync chase my friend around
the city of New York just to apologize?" Justin looked around panicked to
see if anybody heard her, fortunately no one did. "Not only because of
that but he seemed like a cool guy." Justin tried to cover up. "Why cause
Shane didn't kill, as he would say 'the cute annoying one' for taking his
head off today." "What?" Was all I could muster, trying to make sure I
heard her right. "Huh?" She asked trying to think up something. "What
did you just say?" I repeated. "I said, you think you cute and all but
your only annoying." She might have pulled that off if she didn't have a
look of fear on her face. "I better go help with those drinks." She said
excusing herself and rushing into the club.

***Shane***

I thought I should give Trish some time to talk to James and Jason so that
she could get to know them. I figured I had given them enough time, so I
decided to go clean the blood off the walls and reclaim the bodies. As I
was walking back I was at the top of the steps when Trish ran over to me.

"Shane we have a problem." She said with a panicked look on her face.
"What wrong Trish calm down it can't be that bad." I said with a smile
trying to calm her down. "I kinda said that you said something." The look
on her face and the fear in her voice almost stopped me from asking my next
question. "Wh-what did you say?" "I mentioned that you thought James was
kinda cute." The music of the club stopped to me, the world slowed and the
glass in my hand hit the floor and shattered. There went any chance of me
slipping away unnoticed. I saw James stand up and look over at me. For a
minute our eyes locked and I just lost it. I had to get out of there.

***Lance***

After Trish ran from the table I figured she had panicked after she slipped
that Shane thought I was cute. All I could do was smile, he thought I was
cute not Chris not Justin but me. I was awakened from my little victory
dance in my head by a crashing of glass. I looked up to see that Shane had
dropped the glass and he was looking my way. When I looking into his eyes
I never expected to see tears forming he turned to run away but all I
focused on was the tear that was leaving his cheek and landing upon the
shattered glass. The light catching it in a way seemingly blaming me.
"Damn!" I said aloud before sprinting towards the stairs. "Lan-James
wait." I heard both Chris and Justin calling me from the table, but I
couldn't stop. I liked somebody and they liked me back not for Lance Bass
from N'sync but James Blake, oh man how am I going to explain that. But I
had to find Shane first to see what was wrong. I ran down stair and
thought I saw him headed towards the door. I went outside and saw his car
but he wasn't there. Everywhere else was open so he wouldn't have been
able to hide that quickly. I went back inside the club determined to find
Shane.
