He looked a little rejected, but I didn't mean him to be a joy kill, I
just needed to get some rest cause of tomorrow.

-Friday-

We were going to do a training room field test. We were going to use our
hand to hand and power training in the D-room. Like we usually do it was
Jelani and Remy against Rajin and I .

"Ok this is how we are going to do it. Using Shane's Holo-shell
technology I have made some absorption armor that should negate our
powers safely. We will use these until we can master our own types of
shielding." Jelani was giving our brief.

The armor was like biker riding armor with padding in the chest and
abdomen area also on the legs and arms. They had a color in them that
matched our powers. "Oh great we are fucking power rangers". Rajin
Whispered in my ear. "We will use a rocky field like terrain, in a
version of capture the flag. Use your powers anyway possible to prevent
us from taking your flag and to get ours."

"Sound simple enough" I answered with my arms crossed. "So you
believe" Remy grinned.

 

 

Both teams got to there sides on the field and I called for the computer.

"Decca start tribe 2 war field."

I heard a few resounding beeps and everything went dark as the new
environment loaded. We were soon inside a castle/fortress.

"Ok so what should we do." I asked Rajin "I say just go over there and
take it" "But we should have a plan". "This is just a game come on."
He yelled as he ran off in their direction. We left the bunker and were
running towards some rock formations. "Its just past these rocks." He
assured me. As walked through the rock pillars we were able to see their
fort. "See they are no where to be seen. Nothing to worry about." He
grinned looking upon the base.

"Wrong little bro you need to be more cautious." We heard Remy behind
us, clinging to a rock pillar. He was about 15 ft above our heads. "But
how are you to get us if your all the way up there?" Rajin laughed as he
started to spark up a fire ball. "Like this!!" Remy let go of the rock
and was falling straight at us he held out his hands and a strong wind
allowed him to seemingly float to the floor and also pushing us back into
a tumbling mess.

"Can't concentrate to aim at him." Rajin strained against Remys'
winds. I lift my hand in a raising motion and created a ice wall to
shield us from his winds. "This should help us out." "I think not
Shane" Jelani laughed as he hurled a bolt from atop his rock platform at
us destroying my ice shield. "Urgh were pinned down." I groaned. "We
have to figure a way out of this." "Create another Ice shield." Rajin
cried. As I did he created a spark. And like before Jelani blasted it
leaving us bear to Jelanis' winds that blew out Rajins spark. "Ok new
plan I cried. We made it behind a rock a much steadier barrier. And Rajin
created his fire balls ready to launch and I with some snowballs I had
conjured. We stepped out to notice the winds had stopped. Jelani was
still there but Remy was gone. The computer they chimed. `Team 1
Scores'

And the field was gone.

Both teams met in the middle. "You two have to take this a bit more
seriously had it not been for your dampeners we could have dusted you".

"Urgh we both groaned." We went several more rounds and it ended up
pretty much the same with us losing. They were always a step ahead and a
spell faster.

"Ok we have to change this strategy it seems they keep ahead of us so we
have to stay one ahead of them." This time we took our time and planned.

It was the same field as the first. We both booked it to the rock
formation cause that's were most of our battles took place. Getting
there hopefully before them I took my place on one platform and started
to create my aqua spheres and douse the whole field and got down behind
one of the rocks.. Rajin took his place and kept snapping his fingers
creating about 30 little sparks that he controlled to float in the air
high above us to stay out of view. They came in shortly after boasting
about there past victories.

"Dude this is so easy, we weren't this pathetic were we." Remy
laughed. "No but our powers didn't negate each others either we were
able to work together much more. They could be much more of a match if
they worked together." Jelani explained. "Like this!!" Rajin hollered
from atop the rocks as he leaped down. As he did he willed his sparks
into full fire balls about the sizes of basketballs to strike the guys
and the cold water. immediately there was a thick fog that covered the
area.

"Get on guard they planned this one out. Remy ordered as he and Jelani
stood back to back. I used my powers to make 5 ice pillar decoys s to
rise up about 5 feet high. "There Jelani pointed has he tossed a spark
ball. All he do was curse when it just shattered. "Shane is using
decoys!!"

"NOW SHANE THE CAGE!!" What Jelani had said before was right using
existing matter was much easier. In my mind I started to make the water
droplets directly around them to start to gather until it looked like one
of those bubble arts they were totally surrounded. "What is this bro?"
Remy laugh as he swept his hand through. He could move it freely cause
they were still but water, what he didn't notice is how when he did it
clung to his hand.

"It was a nice try kids but not good enough." Grinning I waited for the
signal. "NOW!!" Rajin yelled still behind his rock. I stood up into
view and raised both hands fingers held tightly together in their
direction. I reached out to the bubble cage and started to freeze the
orbs from the bottom up and speared my fingers so they spidered out and
connected effectively trapping the two.

"Ha we won." Rajin laughed getting up from his hiding spot. "Not yet
you haven't Remy grinned as he inhaled and blow out a great gust that
took away the rest of the fog. "Now its my turn." Jelani yelled. He
called upon small bolts of lightning to strike the cage into pieces.
"Shane hurry liquefy it." Rajin yelled. I turned the ice back into
water and with the next lightning strike Remy yelled out in pain. The
energy jumped through the new conduit hitting Remy but leaving Jelani
unharmed.

A tone play in the battle field that Rajin and I were used to. It
signified that some had taken to much damage and were disqualified. This
time though it was Remy.

"Go!!" I yelled and Rajin took off towards their fort. "Not so fast."
Jelani was calling down more bolts to hit Rajin. "I have you, keep
running." I keep throwing out aqua balls over Rajins' head and the
lightening was trapped inside of them.

He was able to make it out of the field as I held off Jelani. I learned
on the fly how to protect myself from projectiles. One I learned when
Jelani threw a spark ball and I tried batting it away out of reflex but
my powers kicked in left like a wet trail like I painted the air in front
of me with a brush. The trail took the brunt of the shock blast but
disappeared as they were hit. SO I was good if I could keep up with his
spark balls.

He seemed to be getting upset as he hurled 3 static sparks at me. I
jumped out of the way and the tone rung. Team 2 wins.

The field disappeared and we all came together in the middle again.

"Good job guys finally learning to work together made you a force to
reckon with."

"Yeah, we mashed you guys huh." Rajin grinned. "Whatever wait until
next round." As the level loaded and we were in the middle of the field
again.

"Eww, no more today I'm tired that ice cage took a lot from me."
"Yeah that fire rain did as well."

"Ok well done guys it take a lot to do what you two did." Remy
complimented. As he focus his power to create a orb of wind in his hand
which could only be seen because of the computerized dust it lifted into
it. "Yeah" Remy copied as he made a spark ball. In his palm. It looked
like a white light in the center and a purplish electric energy make a
cage around it with tiny lightning bridges randomly appearing and
disappearing. Remy and I copied their cues and formed our own orbs.

"This is so cool, I knew someday I would be able to this but I can't
remember why I feared it". I tried but all the fear I had was gone this
power was mine and apart of me I could no longer try and run from it.

On there own our orbs began to float towards each others and they met in
a flash of light.

"Did one you do that?" I asked
