Subject: The Body Switch with Nick Carter

Hello to everyone who has spared any amount of their precious lives
reading my fiction. Before I say anything further, I must give a deep
apology to everyone who considers themselves a fan to this story. I'M
SORRY!!! There are several reasons for this, and all are covered in this
update. Before I lay into that though, I MUST inform everyone that I
changed my email address. For anyone and everyone who might have tried to
email me for whatever reason in the past month and a half, and it didn't
arrive, it is because of that fact. Sorry again. My new email address is:

Ok now that that's taken care of... Just today, I stopped by Nifty to see
exactly how many stories have been updated on my "favorites list" since
last I visited, so I could bookmark the chapters and read when I had the
time (yeah right, me, have time?), and a few things caught my attention:

1. I was shocked to realize that I myself hadn't updated since January!
Time has passed so fast, and I totally lost track of things.

2. I was surprised to see that only a handful of my favorite stories have
been updated since December/January. I was kind of thankful for this,
because I didn't feel *so* bad for not updating.

3. The voting was up.

I hadn't been here in so long, I missed the nominations. Since the voting
was going to be over on July 3, I figured I should go there and vote
before it was too late. As I was visiting the categories, I was truly
surprised-touched-happy-speechless-honored-in shock that Body Switch had
somehow acquired 9 nominations! This is someone speaking who didn't think
a story of mine would have a chance for anything past "creative
storyline". I was nominated for categories I never thought I would be
considered for. My earlier outburst of apology originally stems from this
fact. I haven't posted an update for Body Switch since early January and
people have actually remembered it, and liked it enough to get me placed
into 9 nomination categories. I feel like such a lazy dumbass.

Not that anyone wants to hear my excuses, but it is still because I just
don't have the time to write. I hardly have the time for anything. During
the week I work from 9 to 5 at a job I loathe... come home and stumble
around like a zombie trying to get "important" things done, so I can get
into bed by 11pm. The cycle starts again from there. On my days off, I'm
so happy that I can sleep in, that's mostly all I do. By the way, my job
is doing Tech Support for Bellsouth Internet. That should explain
everything. For anyone who has never had a job doing tech support, you
cannot imagine how mentally/spiritually exhausting it is. You have to
talk to these computer dimwits every second, having to fake a smile in
your voice, pretending to be their friend, when you really want to reach
into the phone and throttle them into a pulp. If you are considering a
job doing this... DON'T!!! The ONLY reason I am still there, or even there
to begin with, was that I needed a job desperately, and the pay is
adequate, and there are excellent benefits. I am searching for a new job,
but this I see this will be a lose/lose situation. I've been so depressed
in the past month it's ridiculous. Before I hear the beginning chords of
a violin, I'll shut up already. I could go on and on, but I wont. I'm
just trying to explain my reasons for not writing. Someone nominate me
for the "sad case" award.

But, as I said in the past, I will say again. This story is NOT
discontinued and is NOT finished. It WILL be updated eventually, and even
finished. By the way, yes, this story has a definite end. It will not be
a long running series by any means. I... just... don't know when that will
be =)

So, keep this story book marked and remember the email address change,

Tech Hell and read the section of "What We Really Wanted To Say". And if
you ever had to call Tech Support, you wouldn't imagine what goes on
behind the scenes!
