Subject: Dreams Can Come True

The normal legal disclaimer applies: everything here
is fiction and is for entertainment only and not to
imply anything about any celebrity mentioned. If you
don't like homosexual stuff or are under 18 then you
shouldn't even be reading this disclaimer let alone
the story.

This will be my first of many stories in the 'Dreams
Can Come True' section, so I hope you all enjoy it
from the start. I was going to submit this story a
close to two years ago but a story called 'Bad Boy
B-Rok' was submitted a couple of days before I
finished my first section and I thought the stories
were really similar so I scrapped the whole story. Now
close to two years late I rewrote much of the story
changing lots of things and want to thank Leprechaun
the author of 'BBB' because his GREAT story was an
inspiration for me to redo this one. Thanx Lep!

Prologue:
"No it can't wait until Monday," I shouted into the
phone, "It needs to be in my hand by Friday! And I
don't know when Friday in your time zone is but in the
time zone I'm in is called Eastern Standard Time Zone
and Friday happens to be TOMORROW!"
After I finished yelling I punched `end' on my cell
phone and sighed. The papers I was yelling about
validated my spot as opening act for the Backstreet
Boys latest tour. The tour wasn't to promote a new CD
of theirs, well it was but they wouldn't get any money
out of it. Ok, I know I'm getting ahead of myself and
definitely confusing you. So let's start from the
beginning...
	My name is Mike, I'm 5'8-1/2" with a medium/slightly
athletic build, and jet black hair with the brightest
of green eyes to contrast them, I'm gay, and ever
since I was fourteen I knew I wanted to be a singer.
Either that or a pediatrician, or a lawyer, or a
photojournalist, or an actor, or...well, lets just say
that I wanted to be something different every day and
that I felt that singing was the only thing that gave
me enough freedom to express my diverse feelings. I
had been writing songs since I was 13 and I had gotten
quite good at it too. When I was seventeen I formed a
band called Drizzle, don't ask me how the hell we got
that name but when I was nineteen we got the chance at
a record deal and it was decided that I wasn't a good
front-man so I was bumped off the lead singer spot and
Jessica, our keyboardist, was put in its spot. However
I was asked to stay around as a songwriter for the
band. I then left the band and explored the possible
things I could do. After a month I was running short
on cash and had just turned 20 so I decided to try out
for another record deal, this one solo, and I got it!
My manager, Jen, told me that it would be best if I
went with only recording a couple of the songs I wrote
because if the album bombed I might get the chance at
another if I did all my own songs or all songs not my
own. I decided that she was right and Jen arranged
with record execs for me to be able to record three
songs I wrote myself.
She also arranged, in a contract, that at least one
of my songs had to be released as a single and I would
have as much or as little control over the video as I
wanted. The label execs agreed to our terms, which was
strange because normally new artists had to agree to
all terms given out by the record label and the artist
had little say in it whatsoever.
The recording of the CD was rushed so that it would
be out during the Christmas season. I noticed that the
songs the label had chosen for me to record (the ones
I hadn't written) were all bubble gum pop songs about
puppy love and romance whereas the three songs I wrote
were rock. One even had some traces of rap roots in
the lyrics, which I liked since it contrasted the pop
sounds of the rest of the CD.
The CD's production was rushed so much we had it done
in 8-1/2 weeks whereas it normally takes about 14 weeks
to make a CD.
I thought it was a great CD. It had 12 tracks. The 3
tracks I did were rock sounds and one sounded
rap-like, 4 of the tracks the label chose were slow
bubble gum pop songs, 1 sounded retro-like, and the
other 4 tracks were fast beat bubble gum pop.
The label arranged for me to be the opening act on
the Backstreet Boys' new tour, which was a sellout!
However the tour was to promote an album they did for
charity and was only two months long and had already
been going for about five weeks and after everything
was signed and legalized I would only have opening act
spot for about two weeks.
But I didn't care, two weeks with two shows one week
and three shows the next with and all the shows being
sellouts still helped promote me greatly!

Chapter 1: One day later
	I walked into Jen's office at 10:30, a half-hour late
because of a car accident. Stupid New York drivers! I
probably shouldn't say that since I am from New York
too. Well, I planned on staying in New York for a few
days but then going home...but I got the record deal and
you know the rest so I guess I decided to stay in New
York for a while longer.
I sat down in the chair across from her and she
handed me a few papers to sign and explained them to
me as I read them. After reading them carefully I
signed them, officially making me the opening act for
the rest of the Backstreet Boys' tour!
"Well, I actually have someone here who wants to meet
you," she said as she opened the door.
I was shocked to say the least. My jaw hit the floor
and could barely speak. There before me were the
Backstreet Boys!
"We normally don't go out of our way to meet our
opening acts, but we do like to get to know them
before they start and we were in this part of city,"
Kevin explained as I began shaking the hands of the
boys.
"Hey finally there's someone my age around," Nick
joked as I shoot his hand.
Once I had shaken everyone's hand I found to courage
to speak.
"Wow," I said, ok, it isn't much but at least I found
my voice.
"I think he's kinda star-struck," Brian laughed at my
response to the Boys.
	"Could be," AJ agreed.
"Actually," I started to say, "I normally don't get
star-struck."
"That's kinda hard to believe," Brian laughed.
"Oh crud," Kevin stated as he looked at his watch,
"AJ, Howie...you guys and I are late for our photo shoot
for the `Got Milk' campaign."
"I still can't believe that they only wanted three of
us to do the shoot," AJ said.
"Sorry we can't stay, but we've gotta go," Kevin said
as he started for the door.
"Actually," Nick started, "only you guys have to go
to the photo shoot, and I wanna get to know Mike a
little better, you don't mind if I call you Mike, do
you?"
	"No," I simply said.
"And I think that it would be cool to go out to lunch
with someone my age," he said.
"Hey, that's not a bad idea," Brian agreed, "me and
Nick don't really wanna wait around for you guys to
finish doing your stuff all day!"
"Alright, do whatever you want," Kevin agreed, "but
we gotta leave now!"
"Wanna come?" Nick finally asked me what I wanted to
do.
	"Sure," I agreed.
We all piled into their limo and drove off. After AJ,
Kevin, and Howie got off at the studio for their
pictures Nick told the driver to take us back to their
hotel because he had to change.
I followed Nick and Brian up to the room they were
sharing.
"Frack and I usually share a room," Brian told me.
"Oh..." I mumbled to myself as I was stunned by the
largeness of the room.
After they changed we went down to Diane's an Italian
restaurant that was pretty secluded. We ordered pizza
and had to debate about what we wanted on it.
Eventually we decided on pepperoni, sausage, and
mushrooms.
"So Mike, when does your first single come out?" Nick
asked.
"Two days from no actually," I said, "I am EXTREMELY
nervous, though."
"What kinda music is on your record?" Brian asked me.
"Well I got to put three songs I wrote onto the CD,
those three are rock songs, but the label chose the
rest of the songs that I would do and they chose
mostly bubble gum pop songs except for one really
retro-like song."
"Oh, well that's cool," Brian said.
"Hey," Nick said, "Brian, AJ, and me were gonna hit
some clubs tomorrow night, wanna join us?"
"Um..." I had to really think about if I was doing
anything the next night, "sure, why not?"
We finished our pizza and left the restaurant quickly
to avoid the public, even though they wouldn't even
know who I was.

Chapter 2: One day later
I wandered through the day doing nothing useful and
waited for Nick to call telling me that he and Brian
were on their way to pick me up. Finally at around ten
Nick phoned and said he and Brian were just leaving
their hotel and to expect them in about 20 minutes.
I was ecstatic to be going clubbing with the
Backstreet Boys, or three of them at least.
My room was buzzed and Nick said over the intercom to
meet them in the limo. I agreed and through on my coat
and ran down to the car.
When I got in the car I noticed that only Nick and
Brian were in the limo.
	"Where's AJ?" I asked.
"He decided not to come," Nick answered, "he said
that he wanted to give me and Brian some...um, some, uh,
time alone together since me and B don't do much alone
anymore...and we always used to play b-ball like
everyday possible and stuff."
I was confused by the hems and haws of Nick's answer
but accepted it nonetheless.
Once inside the club I immediately began to scan the
crowd over for any signs of promising women. Even
though I'm gay I still try to act straight when in
public and there is a few women I do find attractive,
one of them being Jessica Simpson. Anyway, I was
hooked on this one woman about 5'4" with jet black
hair and a great ass.
I walked over to her and after three seconds of
conversation I realized that she was probably a
hooker. Then I noticed that Nick and Brian had similar
luck with the ladies they had scoped out. So we
decided to get a table ourselves and order some
drinks. The woman asked for my drink order first so I
got a Diet Coke (which I like better than regular Coke
for some reason), Nick got a Ruby Red Squirt, Brian
decided that drinking by himself wasn't any fun so he
got a Diet Coke too.
"You know Brian," I said, "just because Nick and I
are underage doesn't mean you can't drink."
"I know, but I don't care," he answered.
Nick and I conversed while it seemed that Brian hung
onto my every word. Then I decided that I was tired of
just talking and asked the DJ to play something that I
could really hardcore dance to.
Next thing I know a revved up version of Jennifer
Lopez's `Waiting for Tonight' comes on and I could
barely keep up to the beat. But even though it was
wicked fast I kept it going busting every move I knew
and I ended up clearing the dance floor of everyone
except Brian and some blonde chick.
Brian and I made our way back to the table and fell
into our chair exhausted. We guzzled our Diet Cokes
and Nick just laughed at how tired we were.
"Hey," I decided to say something about his laughing
at us, "at least we kept up to the beat and didn't sit
down after 15 seconds!"
"Hey now," he said, "it was at least 16!"
Brian and me laughed as Nick made fun of himself.
"You know, Brian," I said, "you haven't said much
tonight."
	"Sorry," was his response.
After Nick and I had talked for about 10 more minutes
I decided that I was gonna order something to drink.
Once I got the waitress's attention I order me a shot
of tequila. Then Brian and Nick decided to each get a
shot of tequila too.
"Well," Nick said as he raised his shot followed by
me then Brian, "to friends."
We clinked our glasses and each took our shots. Nick
started to cough but he said he was fine.
I guess the shots loosened us up because we each
ordered another one. This time we skipped the toast
and just took the shots.
Well it was about 1:50 when we left the club and got
back in the limo. The limo guy either misunderstood
Nick when he asked him to take me home first or Nick
was too drunk to remember to tell him to take me back
to my place when Nick asked him to go back to the
hotel.
The limo stopped at the guys' hotel and we all got
out. We all stumbled into Brian and Nick's room. Brian
got on the phone and asked room service to bring up a
bottle of Jack Daniel's and three glasses. About 15
minutes later a man with blonde hair wheeled in a cart
with the bottle and three glasses.
We drank Jack Daniel's until 3 when Brian said he was
tired but that he didn't care if Nick and I kept
chatting. He should have been after all he drank, even
though he and I drank a lot less than Nick did.
Once I was sure Brian was fast asleep I decided to
ask why Brian had been so quiet throughout the night.
"Nick," I started, "why was Brian so quiet
and...isolated all night?"
"Well," he said with his slurred speech, "he probably
likes you...he's always quiet whenever he's around
someone he like...besides he told me yesterday he
thought you were hot...but he only gets real quiet when
he really likes someone..."
"Brian's gay," I more or less asked myself that
aloud.
"Oh, fuck yeah," Nick answered, "he always said he
was bi but when Leigh Ann dumped his sorry ass he's
never even really talked to woman in that way...you know
the `I'm interested in you' way...he and Leigh Ann
agreed to do a public romance to hide his sexuality
and even went as far to go through a phony
engagement...but when she actually got engaged to
someone else they ended the façade and said that it
was on `mutual terms'"
"That was only a couple of weeks ago," I said.
"Yeah but they broke up like close to a year ago..."
Nick started, "ever since then it's been all bullshit
for the press..."
I was shocked at this to say the least! Not only was
I attracted to Brian sexually but he was attracted to
me too!
"Nick," I began slowly, "I'm gay..."
"Well then," he slurred, "I guess you have it made
with B-Rok, don'tcha?"
	"Guess so..."

That's it for part 1 and I hope you enjoyed it as much
I did. Send me you responses, thanx!
