Hey guys! This is ND, author of "Nick and Ashley'. Kdawg approached me about
a week ago and asked me about ways to spice up his story, Encountering Nick"
a bit. We came up with a sideline chapter written from someone else's
perspective and thought it would be awesome. I was honored when I found out
that he wanted me to write the sideline chapter.

This will run directly along with the main storyline and will most likely
build straight off of it. I want to thank Kevin for being such a great fan
and always sticking with me. I hope all of you stick with him as this
wonderful story continues. Email Kdawg at kdawg96@hotmail.com and email me
at pytn18@hotmail.com if you wanna talk about either my story or his.

Without further ado, grab some popcorn, curl up in your desk chair and enjoy
the sideline. This chapter will be written from the perspective of Brian
Littrell-enjoy!

ENCOUNTERING NICK-sideline

TJ ran as hard as he could. He ran until his legs burned. Muscles were
hurting in his body that he didn't even know he had. All he knew was he had
to get away from that room. He had just left a note in front of Nick's room
saying that he didn't care about anything else except the fact that in his
head he knew he had to be with him.

TJ truly loved Nick, he always had. They used to fool around but Nick always
took it as just that and never anything more. Inside, TJ always wanted more
but he never knew how to tell him. Nick would always be away and busy with
the band and the fact that TJ was a backup dancer was a big thing in his
head. Nick was a Backstreet Boy. Backup dancers come and go and can be
replaced pretty easily.

All of this drove TJ crazy ever since they decided to quit fooling around.
He wanted to be with Nick and he always had the chance to somehow make it
better, until Geoff came along. Geoff came in and messed everything up. He
came out of nowhere and seemed to just sweep Nick off of his feet. TJ tried
to be nice to him because he just wasn't hateful person but he couldn't take
it anymore-he had to be with Nick.

TJ began to think. Was it the fact that he needed Nick or did he just need
someone in general? Nick was his first time messing around with a guy and he
loved it. Was it that he loved Nick or just the fact that he realized he was
gay and needed a guy? Was it really right for him to try and take Nick away
from Geoff? He was just so unsure about everything.

He was so unsure of things that he wasn't even sure where he was running to
anymore and wasn't truly paying attention. He should have been though
because all of the sudden a body was in front of him and he slammed into it
bringing both of them to the ground.

"Dude, watch where you're going." Brian said as he got up and began to rub
his head.

"Oh shit Brian, I'm sorry." TJ said as he looked totally surprised.

"Oh it's you TJ, sorry I didn't mean to snap." Brian said realizing who it
was. He always knew about TJ. He was an excellent dancer and a great person.
For some reason he always caught Brian's eye.

"No I should have been watching my step. I was just trying to get away
from..." TJ said as tears began to sting his eyes. He couldn't seem to
control himself.

"You alright man?" Brian asked becoming concerned.

"Yeah I'll be fine." TJ said as he started to walk away.

"Yeah right, come on." Brian said as he grabbed TJ's arm and pulled him into
his room.

TJ walked in and sat down in one of the hotel chairs, putting his head in
his hands.

"Alright now tell me what's up." Brian said as he sat on his bed.

"I don't know Brian, it's really personal and we've never been that close."
TJ said.

"Well, I'm sorry for that but let's just call it a make up for slamming into
me in the hallway." Brian said with a laugh.

That smile was so soothing. He seemed to get lost in that beautiful smile
that was outlined with the deepest blue eyes he had ever seen. They were
bluer than even Nick's. What were these feelings that ran through his head
about Brian? This was bad. Brian was married, but he just couldn't help to
feel comfortable with Brian here helping him.

"It's really tough, things are just very tough these days." TJ said looking
down.

He felt a hand on his shoulder and saw Brian with that smile again. It was
like a painting that seemed to just capture his attention and not let him
go.

"Ok here goes. You know I'm gay. You know that Nick and me fooled around a
while ago. What you don't know is that I don't think I've ever really gotten
over him." TJ said.

"Yeah, he is kinda hard to get over huh?" Brian said with a sigh as he sat
back down on the bed.

"What do you mean?" TJ asked

Brian wasn't sure how to put this without incriminating himself.

"Nick has always been my best friend and it's very hard to let someone take
over for once. I'm not sure if he really needs me anymore." Brian said as he
stared out of the window.

TJ looked on to a man who was about to break down. This had really bothered
him before.

"I just don't think he realizes that I still need him." Brian said lowly

"Are you ok Brian?" TJ asked in a concerned manner.

"I'm not even sure why I'm telling you this." Brian said laughing with tears
in his eyes.

"Remember, makeup for the hallway." TJ said trying to help him.

Brian laughed quietly. "I think I have the same problem as you of getting
over him." He said.

"What are you saying Brian?" TJ asked

"I think I love him." Brian said

"You think? You sound as confused as I do." TJ said

"I know it's very confusing." Brian said putting his hands back in his head.
"Me and LieghAnn have been having a lot of trouble lately. She's talking
about a divorce and I just don't know what's happening." Brian said.

TJ walked over and sat down next to Brian putting his arm around him. Brian
felt the warmth of the hand and looked up not realizing how close TJ
actually was to him. Their eyes met and they were so close that they could
feel each other's breath.

"Brian, are you sure that we can't get over Nick or is it just that we need
something in our life and Nick is the only thing that either of us have
known?" TJ asked.

"I'm not sure, maybe both of us just need something different." Brian said.

Both men looked into each other's eyes. The force was too strong for them
not to do it. They both leaned in and kissed. It was a little tentative at
first due to both of them not sure if it should be going on but they both
gave into each other and relaxed into the kiss.

Brian wasn't sure if it was right or if it was supposed to happen but he
knew that it felt good. He was enjoying this kiss and he honestly couldn't
remember the last time he could say that. Brian snaked his tongue into TJ's
mouth, which was gladly accepted.

This felt like heaven to TJ. It was something he had never expected. One
second he was running through the hallways after trying to rip Nick away
from Geoff. The next second he was in Brian's room spilling his guts out and
now he was kissing this beautiful being.

Neither of them knew how it was happening but they weren't about to complain
about how good this felt.

Brian seemed to take charge. He knew that he and LeighAnn were close to a
divorce. He never loved her. He was always afraid that the public would find
out about him being gay so he needed a cover and LeighAnn was looking for a
way to get famous. It worked at the time but Brian was never happy with her.
He wasn't sure about his feelings for TJ, but what he said made sense. Maybe
he just needed someone, it didn't have to be Nick.

He pushed TJ back against the bed and began to kiss him more fervently. He
ran his hands up and down TJ's chest, eventually sliding underneath his
shirt. He felt TJ's smooth, hairless chest eventually replacing his hands
with his tongue.

He licked his way around TJ's pecs, which had a very nice outline to the
definition of it. He was a dancer and had an amazing body. Brian was
extremely turned on by it in fact. He moved his tongue down to TJ's light
nipples, feeling them harden under his attack.

TJ was enjoying this tremendously and wasn't going to deny it. He moaned for
Brian, encouraging him to continue. He grabbed the back of Brian's head as
he moved across his chest. As he did this Brian began to undo TJ's belt
buckle and eventually his zipper. He slid his hand down into the briefs that
protected TJ's package.

He felt a patch of pubic hair before getting to what he was looking for. He
couldn't take it anymore as he was extremely horny and he knew that they
both needed it. He took both of his hands and slid down TJ's jeans in one
swoop, leaving him on the bed in just his briefs and his t-shirt pulled up
all the way.

It was truly a beautiful site that Brian took in before him. TJ was blessed
with a six-pack that just wouldn't quit and the tent in his briefs seemed to
suggest that he was also blessed in other places. The tip of the tent
showing off a small wet spot, which told Brian that what he was doing wasn't
turning just him on.

Brian didn't want to hold back any longer and began to kiss the lines where
TJ's waist trailed into his crotch, guarded only by his happy trail that
simply lead the way. Brian pulled off the briefs and grabbed TJ's beautiful
cock. He began to jerk him off and looked up to see him really enjoying
this. He decided that he should go for it and replaced his hand with his
mouth.

This was all so new to Brian but he had a feeling he was doing a good job.
TJ was thrashing under Brian's sensual tongue barrage. Brian knew what made
him feel good therefore he knew how to make TJ feel good.

Brian cupped TJ's balls and began to massage them. TJ wasn't sure that he
could take much more of this and began to thrust his hips into Brian's
mouth. With a moan TJ unloaded all he had of his seed into Brian's waiting
mouth. Brian tried to swallow all he could of it but his inexperience
eventually caught up with him and a bit dribbled out of the side.

TJ came back up and the two engaged in a passionate kiss and he began to
move his hand down towards the nether regions of Brian to return the favor
when a loud knock came from the door.

"Brian, are you in there?" Nick yelled from the other side of the door.

"Shit, go in the bathroom." Brian whispered as he threw TJ his clothes.

TJ tip toed into the bathroom and closed it as quietly as he could. Brian
rearranged the bulge in his pants so as it wasn't so obvious and went to the
door. He opened it and saw Nick with a worried look on his face.

"What's up Frack?" Brian asked as Nick walked in and sat down.

"It's TJ, he still likes me Bri. But I love Geoff so much. I don't know how
to handle this." Nick said with a worried look on his face.

"What do you mean Nick?" Brian asked pretending that he knew nothing. Now
wasn't the time to tell Nick about anything, especially since he wasn't even
sure of what was going on and because TJ was naked in his bathroom.

"TJ stopped by today and said that he still had feelings for me. I don't
wanna mess things up with Geoff. Everything is going so well." Nick said
frustrated.

"TJ ran into me in the hallway before, literally. We had a little bit of a
talk." Brian said.

"About what?" Nick asked.

"He never mentioned you but he just sounded very confused. I gave him some
advice and he seemed to be ok after that so I wouldn't really worry about.
He's just confused and not sure what to do. It will blow over soon." Brian
said.

"You think so?" Nick asked.

"I have a pretty good feeling that it will." Brian said.

"Thanks Bri. You always seem to know how to help." Nick said as he got up
and hugged his friend.

"Don't worry about it buddy. Now go find that man of yours." Brian said with
a smile escorting Nick out.

"Thanks Bri, Later." Nick said.

Brian closed the door and let out a big sigh. That was a little too close
for comfort. He suddenly remembered TJ in the bathroom. He opened the door
and saw him standing there completely naked leaning against the doorway, his
penis hanging in between his legs.

"Nice cover." TJ said seductively.

"Thanks." Brian responded.

TJ grabbed him by the shirt and pulled him into the bathroom, shutting the
door behind him, finishing off where they left off before they were
interrupted.
