I hope this holds you over until after the concert. We are getting ready for the duet numbers, then we will be ready to head out since we did the meet and greets first." Joey stated handing Sean the items he brought back for him. "Justin, Justin come on, your duet with Nick will be first. Come on and get ready." Lance spoke as they were heading towards the door. "I'm coming, I need to talk to Sean first. It won't take me long." Justin stated as the others left the room. "Sean, are you okay? You don't look so good." Justin spoke. "I am fine, I am just a little tired. Believe me, I will be fine after we get back to the hotel. What is it that you wanted to talk to me about Justin?" Sean asked. "Lance, I want to talk about Lance. I think he's setting JC up, and I think he's going to do something very bad." Justin stated. "Justin look, Lance is not out to hurt JC. I know you don't like some of the things that Lance did previously, but give him a chance. If JC is giving him a chance, why don't you give him that same chance. When Lance does something to slip up, if he slips up, then you can think something is up, but until then, could you please give him a chance." Sean stated. "Sean, I..I don't know. I still don't trust him. It is very strange for a guy that hated homosexuals a couple of days ago, to end up being in a relationship with one." Justin stated as Sean got up and walked him to the door. "Justin, lets just see what happens. But right now, you have a song to sing with Nick, so get to it." Sean stated patting Justin on the back. * Backstage * "Kevin can I talk to you for a moment? It's very important that we settle something." Chris stated. "What's up Chris, what's wrong? What do we need to settle?" Kevin asked. "Do you have a problem with me and Brian getting married? I know your family is so religious and everything, but I love him and I don't want anything to stand in our way." Chris stated. "I have no problem with you two getting married at all, what gave you the idea that I wasn't okay with it?" Kevin asked sitting down besides Chris. "Well, first off, in the past whenever I asked Brian to marry me, he always had a reason not to and your name always came up, second, whenever someone managed to say something about us getting married and you were in the room, you always tense up, I notice these things Kevin and I want to know why this is affecting you so much." Chris asked. "It's affecting me so much because me and Brian were so close and he never told me about the relationship you two had. I thought he valued our closeness more than that." Kevin stated as he put his head down. "Excuse me, can you two tell me where Nick Carter is?" the young man asked walking up to Kevin and Chris, interrupting their conversation. "I need to deliver this letter to him." Damien stated starring at Kevin and Chris. "Nick is on stage performing his number right now, I can get the letter to him." Kevin stated. "I am sorry sir, but I have been instructed to give the letter to Nick directly. I am sure that you can do the task, but I am under orders to give it to him and only him." Damien spoke again. "Well you will have to wait until he's done performing on stage. Who are you? Are you a friend of Nick's, do you work for the company?" Kevin asks. "No, No, I don't work for your company and I am not a friend of his, I am employed through Maguire Enterprises. My name is Damien Lars and I am here now by the direction of Tobey Maguire to deliver this letter to Nick Carter." Damien explained. "Okay, is this the same guy that just played the role of Spider Man?" Chris asked. "Yes sir, the very same man." Damien spoke. "Cool, I loved that movie." Chris spoke. "I am quite sure Mister Maguire is happy that you enjoyed the movie." Damien spoke again. "Would it be okay for me to wait back here to deliver the letter to Mr. Carter?" Damien asks as Sean walks over to the men talking. "Sure, it's okay with us, just don't get into anyone's way while you are back here." Kevin spoke. "Hello guys, who do we have here?" Sean asks. "Sean this is Damien Lars, he is here to deliver a letter to Nick." Kevin spoke as he and Chris stood up. "Chris we will finish our talk later." Kevin stated. "Yes we will." Chris stated walking in the direction towards the stage, since it was time for him and Howie to perform a song together. "So you are here to see Nick, is there something wrong? Is he in any trouble?" Sean asked looking at the man intently. "No, no, he's not in any trouble. Mr. Maguire wanted me to deliver this letter to him, I am quite sure it is a friendly matter." Damien stated smiling. "Okay, well if you need any assistance, I will be in the room right over there." Sean pointed, as he walked into the guys dressing room. * On the Stage * "I hope you guys have enjoyed the show up to this point, we will take a small intermission and we will be back for the final number." Justin spoke into the microphone getting screams from the fans all around. The guys all left the stage heading towards the backstage area. The were happy about getting ready to perform the last song of this concert so that they could return to the hotel to rest before moving on to the next destination. Walking behind the curtain, Lance pulled JC into a corner of the stage and started making out, not caring who or what saw them, causing Justin to totally freak out. "What the hell are you two doing!" Justin screamed walking by JC and Lance. "What does it look like Curly, we are kissing, duh!" Lance spoke dripping with sarcasm in his voice. "What's going on, what's the big commotion? " Sean asked walking out of the dressing room after hearing the outburst. "We were barely off stage when freaknoid here grabs JC and starts kissing him!" Justin screamed. "What if someone saw them, you know what Johnny said about keeping things under wraps!" Just spoke as the other guys walked back over to see what was going on. "Maybe you guys haven't noticed, but we have new people back here, now is not a good time to discuss any of this. Let's just head into the dressing rooms and talk in there." Sean stated as Damien approached Nick and requested a private moment with him. * Down the Corridor * "What is it that you wanted to talk to me about Mr. Lars? I have no idea why Tobey Maguire would send me a letter." Nick spoke. "Mr. Carter, Mr. Maguire instructed me to give this letter to you and he also request that I invite you to dinner at his estate in Durham North Carolina since it's one of the stops on your tour. He has included a business card with all his contact information if you accept his offer, and hopefully the letter will tell you more." Damien stated shaking Nick's hand. "Thank you for bringing me the letter. I will read his letter and if I have time for the dinner engagement, I will join him." Nick stated as Damien smiled at him and turned to walk away. * Back in N Sync's Dressing Room * "Anyone could have seen them, anyone could see that, it was right there, we were barely off the fucking stage!" Justin screamed. "Justin what is your damn problem?! You have been freaking out every chance you got and I can't take it anymore!" Lance stated as he started pacing in the corner. "I am not happy about this! You have some kind of secret agenda, you are going to do something to hurt Josh or fuck up the group! I don't believe you have feelings for him Lance, just a couple of days ago, you couldn't stomach the fact that Joey and Sean were dating and Chris and Brian were getting married! Now all of a sudden, you are 'dating' JC and acting like two teenagers that just discovered what sex was!" Justin screamed. "Yeah so what! Isn't that what boyfriends do? Don't they act like that? Me and JC said that we wanted to explore our feelings for each other and that's what we are damn doing!" Lance shouted back. "Okay, okay you two calm down. What goes on between Lance and JC is their business Justin, but as you said, someone could have seen them, that's when it becomes my business, but other than that, what they do out of the public eye or behind closed doors doesn't concern you Justin, let them handle the relationship they have, and you handle your own things Justin, I am quite sure that JC and Lance can do that, without your intervention." Sean stated walking over to Joey and kissing him on the cheek. "Justin believe me when I say, I do have feelings for JC and I am exploring those feelings. How many times do I need to apologize for my previous actions?" Lance asked. "Wait a minute! Justin, we need to go outside and talk!" JC shouted as he grabbed Justin by the arm and walked towards the door pulling him along. * Backstreet Boys Dressing Room * "So Nick, what was that letter thing all about? That guy was so adamant about giving it only to you, I was almost ready to slap him for his snobbish attitude." Kevin stated walking over to Nick.
