I want to hear from everyone out there that is reading this story, tell me what you think whether it is bad or good. ======================== Foolish Beat - Chapter 27 by JT Poole * Durham, NC -- The Pacific Heights Hotel * "Okay guys, get to your rooms, we have a press conference in about five hours. Johnny has already checked in and I am quite sure he will be down soon to get started on that." Sean stated as he handed everyone their room keycards. "Sean, can I talk to you for a moment? I have some things to talk to you about." Nick asked. "Sure, just come to my room when you are done getting your stuff up there and we can chat then." Sean stated. "Cool, I will see you in a couple of minutes." Nick stated walking away from Sean. "I wonder does that have anything to do with what's going on between him and AJ. I guess I will find out when he comes over. Hey Joey, would you be so kind as to go into the restaurant and get me a small snack? I am starving, I don't know why I am so hungry." Sean stated. "Sure, anything in particular you want?" Joey asked. "Anything you bring me is fine. Just hurry up, I think my stomach is going to twist itself into more knots." Sean stated heading towards the elevators with the others. * Lance and JC's Room * "Baby do you have any ideas about what we are going to say at the press conference?" JC asked. "None. Maybe we should go with what Chris suggested that we were dared into kissing each other and we lost the dare." Lance stated. "Do you really think anyone is going to bye that excuse? The pictures actually show us kissing, with tongue, I don't think there is anyway we can get out of that one except for lie and say that someone doctored up the pictures so that they can get some money." JC spoke. "I don't know, I guess we will have to run this by Johnny when he gets ready to start the pre-meeting." Lance stated, as there was a knock at the door. "Come in." "Well guys, what have you two come up with?" Justin asked. "Nothing. I hope you didn't come here to say `I told you so', because I am not in the mood for this Curly." JC spoke, walking over to sit besides Lance. "No, I came up here to help you guys brainstorm on what to do about this." Justin stated as he walked over to the two men and sat between them. * Chris and Brian's Room * "Honey I have been thinking. Why don't we get married during the next break we have." Brian stated. "The next break. We wouldn't have time for that." Chris stated. "Sure we would, we could fly to Vermont and get married then fly back to wherever we were." Brian stated. "What!?! What about the wedding? What about your family and my family? I thought we were going to have a big wedding so that we can invite everyone to it when the time came for it." Chris explained. "We can still do that, but we can go ahead and get legally married in Vermont while we are on break and then we can have the ceremony later." Brian stated. "Isn't that something to think about?" "Well we could do that, but when will we do it?" Chris asked. "Well after tomorrow's concert, we have a couple of days free, we can jump on a plane to Vermont, get married and be right back. We can take care of that and then we can have the ceremony when we have the time to have everyone attend." Brian stated. "If that's what you want, it's okay with me. I don't see a problem with it." Chris stated. "Oh baby, cool, then let me go call and make arrangements, so after the concert tomorrow we can fly out and get married." Brian stated, jumping up and down. * Sean and Joey's Room * "So Nick, what is it that you want to talk to me about?" Sean asked. "Well, first I want you to know that I am gay. Second, AJ and me had an argument, which almost broke up the band, but I am over that now. Third, I have a date with Tobey Maguire tomorrow night after the concert and well I wanted to know if that's okay?" Nick explained. "Well as long as you don't do anything to expose yourself to the public, it's okay with me." Sean stated. "What actually happened between you and AJ, if you don't mind me asking?" "Well, uh...he kissed me and told me that he loved me. That's what caused the problems. I don't really think he loves me, I just think he said it to make me feel better when I told him how I felt about Brian and Chris." Nick explained. "Oh, so everything is okay now between the two of you?" Sean asked, "Is AJ feeling better now?" "I don't know. I haven't talked to him since the whole thing started. I thought it was best to keep my distance from him. If I am not around him, he can't tell me he loves me. I don't want this to hurt the band in any way, so I will just stay away from him to keep things peaceful." Nick stated. "You two will eventually have to talk to each other Nick. You are best friends, you can't let this change your friendship." Sean stated. "You are right, but right now I don't want to talk to him. He may tell me how he really feels and it probably won't be the same way I feel. I actually do love him, but if he tells me that he doesn't love me the same way, then that would cause more problems between us. So to solve the problem, I will keep my feelings to myself and stay away from him." Nick stated. "Is that why you are going to go out with Tobey Maguire? Are you going to use him to get over AJ?" Sean asked. "We have to do what we can to keep the peace within our small family Sean." Nick stated, "I would rather be with Tobey, rather than telling AJ how I feel and he doesn't like me and I end up hating him for it." "Well I can see your point somewhat, but I hope this doesn't cause any problems for you in the future because of the decisions you make now." Sean stated. * Hotel Conference Room #1 * We join Johnny Wright and the guys of N Sync at a Press Conference to try to explain why there is a picture of Lance Bass and JC Chasez kissing in the `Enquirer'. After sitting up in their room for the last two hours go over things with Johnny, the two were unable to come up with a good solution to the problem. Not happy with the outcome of things, Johnny decided to let JC and Lance take this problem into their own hands and deal with it the way they decide to let it play out. "Good afternoon people, we welcome you to this press conference." Johnny spoke as he stood in front of the podium. "Today we will be addressing the issue of the pictures that were taken of Lance Bass and JC Chasez in the `Enquirer' and the two men will answer your questions. Okay let's get this on the road" As Lance and JC walked into the room, camera flashes started going off around the room. Taking their seats next to the podium, the two men sat besides each other and held hands, causing more camera flashes to go off in the room. As Sean walked up to the podium to make an announcement, JC grabbed his arm to tell him something. "Sean, we are going to do something else. Me and Lance decided to come out and well, we want to do it now." JC stated. "You decided on what?!"
