Foolish Beat - Chapter 6

* Sean's Apartment *

Sean awoke to the sound of his alarm clock going off, it was 7 o'clock in
the morning. Sean didn't want to get up, but work had to be
done. Forgetting that he had company, Sean looked over to the other side of
the bed, and noticed a body lying in his bed, so he jumped up and grabbed
some clothes before Joey awakened. Sean ran to the bathroom to take a
shower to prepare for his day and to take care of the morning wood he was
sporting.

* Brian's House *

"Chris, Chris wake up, we have to get ready for today." Brian said as he
tried waking up Chris.

"Awwww, let me sleep some more hon, I am really tired, just give me 15
minutes more." Chris pleaded with his lover.

"Chris, get up, you know your guys have a meeting today with Johnny, so get
up and get ready, I don't want to come back in here again to wake you, if I
do, you won't be a happy man, now get up!" Brian shouted.

"Alright, Alright, I am up, some boyfriend you are, can't let a guy sleep a
little longer." Chris said as he got up and stammered to the bathroom.

"I love you Chris, when you are done, come down stairs for breakfast."
Brian said over his shoulder as he left the room.

"I love you too Bri." Chris said as he turned the shower on and stepped in.

* Jive Records *

"Good morning Mr. Anderson, here are your messages, and you have someone
waiting to see you. Should I send them in once you are settled in?" the
receptionist spoke as Sean was checking in for the day.

"Good morning, just give me 10 minutes and send the person in. Thanks for
my messages." Sean said as he walked down the hall to his office.

(<Ringgggg Ringgggg Ringgggg>)

"Hello, Sean Anderson, may I help you?" Sean said into the phone.

"Hello Mr. Anderson, I would like to find out why you left me in your bed
this morning without waking me up?" Joey asked.

"Well Mr. Fatone, you were sleeping and I didn't want to wake you up. You
looked so cute asleep, I just couldn't bring myself to wake
you. Mr. Fatone, I have a guest to speak to, I will call you back later."
Sean said as he waved the person into his office.

"Hello, my name is Jason Young, I have an appointment to meet Sean
Anderson, I am the lead singer for PassionFly." the young man stated as
Sean stood up and shook his hand.

"Ok, are you here about the arrangements for your group's studio time?"
Sean asked, as he walked over to the filling cabinet and retrieved the
group's information.

"Actually no, I am here for something else. Johnny called me about the
studio information yesterday, I am here about a personal matter." Jason
said as Sean sat back down at his desk.

"Okay, what is this personal matter that you have come to see me about?"
Sean asked as he looked at Jason with a confused look on his face.

"Well first things first, I want to make sure that everything for the group
is in good hands with you being our new manager and second, I want to also
let you know something personal, that must be kept confidential." Jason
said as Sean stared at him.

"Okay, I plan on doing the best for your group, as I am going to do for all
the other groups that I will be manager and co-manager of. Within the next
couple of weeks, I will be meeting with all the groups and explaining some
of the things that I will do, and some of the things that I will need the
groups to do. What is the other thing on your mind, that you want kept
confidential?" Sean asked as he looked at Jason's face for any sign of what
it was that was about to be said.

"Well, ahh, well, I am gay, and I am in relationship with a person that you
co-manage. I wanted to make sure this wasn't going to be a problem for you
managing our group. Since we are discreet and the public nor the media
knows anything about us, we want to keep it that way." Jason said as he
dropped his head down as though Sean was gonna scream or something in that
manner.

"Who is this guy, if you don't mind me asking?" Sean asked.

"Well, ahh, ahh, it's Howie Dorough of the Backstreet Boys." Jason said
with tears in his eyes.
