This is my first slash story with BSB and Nsync, some
of the pairings will be a little unusual but I wanted
to do something different-Mel


Games of Desire-Chapter 1

     "Shit" He muttered, looking over the contract.
His green eyes glared at the small print on the
document in front of him.
    "What is it, Kev?" His bandmate asked, knowing
that Kevin swearing didnt mean
good news.
    "We are still obligated to that 3 song deal with
Nsync." He spat the name. AJ groaned silently. Out of
all of them, Kevin disliked the band the most. Well at
least publicly.. But AJ suspected something quite
different.
    AJ looked at Kevin with knowing eyes. Kevin
flushed but said nothing. He tried to avoid it but it
kept popping up in his mind, his heart. Justin.
   Kevin stubbornly ignored the pounding of his heart,
the aching in his groin, and he kept grumbling. "I
hate this" he muttered.
   "What?" Nick interuppted, coming over from his
perch on the balconey railing.
   "The Nsync thing." Aj informed him, wathcing as
Nick's blue eyes glemaed for
a second.
    Chris. AJ supressed a grin. He was the only one
who knew that Nick and Chris were lovers. Nick had
been afraid of Kevin's reaction so Aj had agreed to
keep his mouth shut.
    "Oh, That." Nick kept his voice as unemotional as
possible, but inside he was jumping up and down. It
had been a long time and he missed Chris desperatly.
   No one but Aj noticed the far away look in Nick's
eyes. "Well, lets just get it over with" Brian
interuppted, his ring finger gleaming as his wedding
bands caught the light. He shrugged. The truth was he
was too preoccupied.
    His pregnant wife took most of his attention. He
hardly noticed anything else these days. Nick met Aj's
eyes in silent laughter.
    Just then Howie joined them. He saw the scowel on
Kevin's face and sighed. What now? he thought. Kevin
had bercome more and more irritable in the last few
months.
   But as usual he kept his irritation hidden. "what's
up?" he asked, biting his tongue to keep from adding
"this time". Kevin shoved the contract at him. Howie
read it and took a deep breath.
    Oh boy. He knew that Kevin didnt like Nsync, but
Howie didnt care either way. Chris was his friend and
the other boys did not bother him, not really.
    "Kev, just get through it; its not a big deal."
Howie said evenly. Kevin nodded but his scowl did not
fade.
    "Yeah, I guess." He stomped from the room. The
rest of them just watched him go.
   "I gotta go, Leighanne wants icecream." Brian said,
following his cousin out of the room.
   Howie, Nick and Aj burst out laughing. "That man is
well and truly whipped." AJ finally got out after the
laughter died down. Nick interuppted him.
    "I think its time I told Howie the truth." Nick
looked nervous, but his voice was calm. Howie whiped
the tears of laughter out of his eyes and looked at
Nick questioningly.
     "I am bi and dating Chris." He looked at his
hands, scared of what Howie was going to say.
  "I wondered how long it was going to take for you to
tell me." Howie said, amusement in his voice.
   Nick stared up at him in shock, but his eyes were
filled with releif. "How.." he stuttered and Howie
smiled.
    "you are so transparent, even more than Kevin,
Besides, I know Chris really well. Remember?"
    Nick didnt catch Howie's reference to Kevin but AJ
did. "How do you know about Kev?" Now Nick was
confused.
    "Kevin is in love with Justin. He just refuses to
admit it, even to himself."
   The room was silent.
    "Hey baby"
    "Nick?"
   "I am here.. In New York."  TBC....
