     The next day, both groups were surprisingly
subdued. The only two people that seemed unaffected by
anything was Brian and Joey.
   They seemed oblivious to the undercurrants
effecting everyone else. Nick and Chris exchanged
uneasy glances. With all the tension, they didnt know
if they should do what they had planned, but there was
no going back.
    For the first time in a long time, Nick surprised
Kevin by calling a group meeting during a break in
recording. It was so unlike Nick, and that made Kevin
nervous.
   He didnt like surprises. Once everyone sat down and
gave them his full attention, Nick spoke.
  "I have wanted to tell you this for a long time.
Some of you know, others dont. For starters, I am
gay."
   He watched everyone's face as it sunk in. Howie and
Aj of course were not surprised But Kevin and Brian
just stared at him.
 "Your what?!" Kevin spat. His hands shook. He didnt
know why he was so upset, It wasnt like he was
straight himself.
   Brian finally closed his mouth. His only problem
was that Nick waited this long to confide in them. It
hurt his feelings.
  "I am gay. But that is not all." Kevin looked at
Nick with fearfull eyes. He wasnt sure he wanted to
know.
 "I have been seeing Chris from Nsync for a year now."
Kevin shot up.
  "YOU WHAT!" he bellowed. Aj got up and grabbed a
shoulder.
   "Calm down. It's not like your so innocent
yourself." Aj's words made him pause.
   Now it was Nick's turn to be surprised. Kevin
turned red and stalked out of the room.
  "What was that about?" Nick asked, his heart
pounding. He honestly didnt expect such a violent
reaction from Kevin, he had been more worried about
Brian's reaction.
     "I will let Kevin tell you that when he is
ready." Aj said, and gave Nick a hug. Howie joined in.
When they pulled away, Brian still hadent said a word.

 "Brian?"
   "Why didnt you tell me?!" His voice was full of
pain.

     In another room, Chris was getting ready to tell
his bandmates about Nick. They all knew he was gay,
but He didnt know how they would react to him telling
them it was Nick he was seeing, Nick he was in love
with.
   He honestly didnt think they would have a real
problem, it was the uncertaintly that made him
worried.
   "what is it?" Joey asked gently, seeing Chris
shake. They all looked at him. Chris took a deep
breath.
  "I am seeing someone."
"It's about damn time." Jc said, smiling. Chris just
shook his head.
  "You dont understand. I am seeing, have been for a
year, Nick ...Carter." He couldnt look his bandmates
in the eye, he was too scared of their reaction.
  "Holy Shit." Lance couldnt believe it. The rest of
the band echoed his words. Chris steeled himself.
   "Why didnt you tell us?" Justin's words were soft.
He knew this was hard on his friend, he didnt want to
make it any harder, so he swallowed his hurt.
  "I was afraid with all the rivalry between the two
bands, plus Nick wanted to keep it quiet for a while,
not because he was ashamed but he didnt know how Brian
and Kevin would handle it."
 Justin was aware that Chris had not mentioned Aj or
Howie. Interesting.
    One by one, his friends came up and they all
hugged him. Even when things got difficult, they
supported eachother.
  Chris was grateful. But also worried. Not for
himself but for Justin and Jc. He had seen the
expression on Justin's face when he had mentioned
Kevin.
   He had a feeling his announcement wasnt going to be
the hardest problem they had ever faced.

   Nick sat down next to his friend. "I was afraid of
what you would say. And to be honest, you have been so
busy with Leighanne, I didnt know if you would even
care."
   Brian's head shot up. He saw the pain on Nick's
face. He realized that Nick was right. He was afraid
to speak, so he just turned and hugged his friend.
   Howie and Aj discreetly left. They had a lot to
talk about. They knew it was just a matter of time
before they would have to let Kevin and Brian know
about them as well.
   Kevin was pacing up and down in his room. He was so
proud of Nick, and jealous. He wished he had the
courage to come out and say what he was feeling.
   He wheeled around when he heard a knock on the
door. He opened it, yanking hard, and came face to
face with Justin.
  Oh shit. He felt his cock rise to the occasion,
unable to control it. Justin just stared. Kevin's
tight jeans hugged his body, and Justin had to bite
back a moan of his own. Damn.
   "I came to see if you were ok. Chris told us." He
explained seeing the confusion on Kevin's face. Kevin
stiffened, then relaxed.
 "Yeah. I am ok."
  Justin shifted from one foot to the other. Kevin
realised that they were having this conversation in
the hall. "
   Sorry, come on in." Justin entered the room, and
Kevin closed the door behind him. Ever since their
conversation in the bathroom, they had formed a truce
of sorts, but they didnt know what to do next.
   Kevin was concious of Justin's nearness. "You sure
your ok?" Justin asked. He could feel Kevin's
tensness.  He sat down next to Kevin. Kevin turned,
and realized how close Justin's mouth was to his.. oh
god,  how he wanted to kiss him.
   Justin stared. He clenched his fists, trying to
fight his rising desire. It didnt work. He couldnt
help it any longer. His lips touched Kevin's. It was
like throwing a match on gasoline. They both went up
in flames.

Nick and Chris met in their hotel room, and within
seconds they were in eachother's arms. They sank on
the bed, and just cuddled, both relaying what had
happened.
   They were so relieved to finally have let everyone
know. "I love you so very much" Chris whispered,
spooning Nick. Nick turned his head, kissing his
lover.
   "I love you too, baby." The kiss deepened.
   Love and desire flowed over both of them. Now that
everyone knew it was like a wieght was off their
shoulders, and that just made them want the other one
even more. It was going to be a long night.

 Lance knew where Justin had gone. He knew that it
wouldnt take long for Justin to make up his mind, and
after sampling Kevin the night before, he knew that Jc
didnt stand a chance.
   So he made his move. He followed JC, waiting until
the right moment to speak.
   "You ok?" Jc jumped. Lance smiled sheepishly.
   "I am sorry, I didnt mean to scare you." Jc smiled
back, but the smile didnt reach his eyes.
   "It's ok. and no, I am not. I am losing him,
Lance." His voice was choked with tears. They sat down
by the hotel pool, bodyguards a discreet distance
away.
   Lance let JC cry on his shoulder for a minute,
until no more tears came. "Thank you, for bieng here."
Lance smiled.
   "I am always here for you, Josh. Always."
Jc searched Lance's green eyes. He found himself
drowining in them.

His body was on fire. Justin moaned in his throat as
Kevin's tongue attacked his. His hands tangled in
Kevin's hair, urging him closer. Kevin could barely
breathe, and didnt care. He needed more. More of
Justin. As if reading his mind, Justin slid his hands
under Kevin's teeshirt.
   Holy shit. That was Kevin's last rational thought.
