Subject: The Good Life: Part 1

Hey everyone.  This is my first attempt at writing a story, so bear with me
a little.

Here I guess I have to say in no way do I know or claim that any member of
N'sync is gay or bisexual. This story is fiction and is not intended to
imply anything about the true sexuality of the celebrities mentioned or any
personal knowledge about their private lives. Thanks.


{ITHACA, NY)

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!

Noah quickly sat up in bed and hit the off button on his alarm.  Another
day he thought to himself.  He had an 8 o'clock class and knew he couldn't
be late since he was presenting a lecture to the class on of all things,
the New York long arm statute.  Noah was a first year law student at
Cornell Law School.  He had always wanted to be a lawyer and now found
himself in law school wondering why the hell he ever wanted this.  But he
was good at it and knew it was his future.  He wanted to be an
Entertainment Law attorney and represent the stars in Hollywood.  This was
his last class before heading out to Hollywood to be a summer law clerk for
a big firm.  He was so excited.

Noah had come out his last year at Boston College (his undergrad) and since
then dated a few guys and had some regular experiences with men, but had
never been in love and was still a little naive around men.  He preferred
still hanging out with his straight friends, and liked the lifestyle that
came with it.  He was 6'2",140 pounds (skinny as hell) had black hair and
the most piercing green eyes a boy could have.  He always thought he was
too skinny but all the girls and guys always looked him up and down, and
Noah knew it, and was confident about who he was and what he wanted.

Noah just finished his lecture and the professor told him he would receive
and A, and good luck in Hollywood.  Noah was excited and when he got home
to get his bags and head to the airport, the light was blinking on his
answer machine and he pressed play.  A voice stated, "Noah, this Rick from
the firm.  We have a change in plans.  One of our partners is working with
some clients in Orlando and needs a law clerk to help him out.  You are our
law clerk.  The plans have been made, so when you get to the airport you
are now on Delta Flight 21 to Orlando.  Thanks Noah."  Noah was sad he
wasn't heading to LA, but figured he would get there soon, and Florida
would be fun too.  He wondered who the clients were.

BZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!

Justin quickly sat up in bed and hit the off button on his alarm.  Another
day he thought to himself. But a great day!  N'sync had just finished a
yearlong tour and would now be on a break for the entire summer to spend
time just relaxing and writing for the next album.  Justin was thrilled
since the tour had really drained them all.  He got out of bed and into the
shower.  He always loved to sing in the shower and decided to sing a little
Louie Armstrong and What a Wonderful World.  He always loved that song.
Justin got dressed and spent the usual 30 minutes fixing his hair and set
out to head to the studio where the guys were all meeting to go over the
plans for the summer, and meet with one of the attorneys to go over a new
record deal with QTPIE records.  This was a new label for the boys.

When he pulled up to the studio, he saw a group of young girls waiting for
him.  He sighed, but threw on his patented Timberlake smile and signed a
whole bunch of autographs and even gave out a few kisses.  He loved his
fans, but at this time in the morning he was still a little sleepy and
wanted to be left alone.  Plus, seeing all the girls only made him think
more about the feelings he has been dealing with about his sexuality.  He
always knew he liked guys, but lately it had become more intense.  He shook
these thoughts and headed into the studio.

Justin walked into the conference room and all the guys were there and they
all said hello.  The tour had been long and they knew they needed a break
not only from the tour life but also as a group.  Justin knew it would all
be fin, but everyone needed their space.  As they discussed the summer Joey
decided he was heading to New York, Chris was going to Europe for some
traveling, and Lance was going all over the place to work with his side
projects, but would be back in Orlando a lot.  JC was staying in Orlando,
and Justin was glad since he and JC were best friends.  The door opened and
they recognized John their attorney walk in and following him was Noah.
They all looked at each other, not used to having law clerks around, but
Justin was only staring at Noah the whole time.  Their eyes connected and
both looked away quickly.

John discussed the record deal, and said he and Noah were going to research
a few details and that most likely things would be done in a week.  He then
asked if any of the guys would feel like giving Noah a tour of the town and
show him a good time while he was in since he had his heart set on LA, and
they wanted him to have a good time.  Since Joey, Chris and Lance would be
leaving, JC and Justin said they would love to.  Justin had a huge smile on
his face, as did Noah.  Both were thinking at the same time whether the
other could possibly be gay.  Neither knew the answer yet.


***Well that's kind of it for now...I have some ideas on what I want to
happen.  This is my first attempt at writing really, so let me know any
ideas or what you think, good or bad.  I know it is early. I will flush out
a lot more feelings and background to the characters as I go along if
