Josh and Just 62

"Welcome back to TRL, now it's the moment you've all been waiting
for. It's time to let out our celebrity guest. Justin Timberlake." Carson
stated, pointing to the back door of the studio. Those in the audience
started to scream with delight as Justin poked out of the curtains and
flashed a smile as he sauntered down the walkway with a little shy boy
face. He walked up to Carson holding his microphone and waved at all the
screaming people.
"Hi everyone." Justin mumbled, his accent in full force. The loud
wave of cheers rushed up again.
"Wow, man. You got a pretty strong following. Your singles a hit
already and your all over TRL. So what does it feel like?" Carson
asked. Justin raised the microphone to his lips and took in a large breath.
"I feel . . . tired." Justin stated, causing everyone to laugh.
	"Really? Why?" Carson questioned.
"I've just been running around doing lots of things. I mean as soon
as I got off tour with the guys, I started to work on my album in the
studios and then JC's sister got married so we took a couple weeks off and
moved to Maryland. And then after that JC went home and I went to LA and we
just haven't seen much of each other. Either I've been too busy or he's
been working with people or doing god knows what." Justin said with a
smile smirk.
"Poor Justin, man. You fans are working him to the bone!" Carson
commented, looking into the camera.
"Yeah!" Justin added, pointing at the camera.
"Well we have a little game set up for a lucky audience member who
says she knows everything about you and JC. If she loses she gets. . . well
nothing. But if she wins she will get the very first copy up for sale and
she will get to actually go to the set of Justin's next video." Carson
stated with a smile. A cheer ensued and out came the girl who was a small
petite young woman who was calm, collected and giddy. She held out her hand
to shake Justin's hand. Justin moved her hand aside and wrapped her in a
hug, which made her even more excited.
"Uh oh! I dunno if Justin will be so happy when he finds out our
surprise guest we have here for him." Justin gave a shocked look as he
looked towards the door. He saw JC poke his head out of the curtain with a
shy smile. Justin quickly ran off the TRL stage and made his way swiftly to
JC. He fell into JC's waiting arms and hugged JC tightly. The cameras ran
towards them to catch their small bit of affection. Justin and JC had
their foreheads pressed to one another's.
"I thought you weren't coming!" Justin stated, in shock still. He
pulled back and punched JC in the arm. JC gave a small chuckle as he shook
off the pain. Justin gladly took JC's hand and pulled him towards the
stage. He held onto JC's arm as they stood on the raised platform from
everyone else.
"MTV you suck!! You had no idea how long we talked yesterday
because he told me he couldn't come! I hate you! How could you lie to me?"
Justin chuckled as he lightly punched JC's chest. JC caught the punches and
pulled him into a hug. Justin pressed a small kiss to JC's cheek before
regaining his composure.
"Well Melissa, I want you to meet JC Chasez and Justin
Timberlake. The couple you claim to know the best." Carson stated. Melissa
nodded confidently and lifted her mic.
"Ask me anything. I know it all." Melissa coolly stated. Justin
glanced at JC who was paying attention to the girl. Justin held onto JC's
hand tightly and looked back at the girl.
"Okay, according to JC, what does Justin do every morning before
getting ready?" Carson asked.
"He kisses JC good morning." Melissa responded.
	"That's correct." Carson replied.
"According to Justin, What does JC do when he wants to unwind and
relax?" Carson questioned.
"He listens to Jazz and reads." Melissa answered.
"Correct. What are the names of Justin and JC's three dogs?" Carson
questioned.
"Ozzie, Leo, and Hunter." Melissa stated.
"Correct. What does JC do that annoys Justin?" Carson posed.
"JC brings work home." Melissa answered.
"Wow, correct. Do you two want to ask any questions?" Carson
questioned.
"Yeah, what does Justin wear to bed?" JC proposed.
"Pajama bottoms and a wife beater." Melissa responded.
"What does JC do two times a day?" Justin questioned.
"Naps." Melissa stated with a smile. Both Justin and JC sat, very
impressed with the girl.
"Wow you really do know us well. How do you know so much?" JC
asked.
	"Well, Carson?" Melissa asked.
"Well guys, we have a little surprise for both of you. While we
asked the questions, we had someone who knows you well feed the answers to
Melissa through this earpiece. Why don't you join me in welcoming Chris
Kirkpatrick." Carson stated. Chris hopped out and Justin instantly ran over
to him. Both started doing a dance while Justin's single played in the
background. They stumbled to the stage in a fit of laughter. Justin walked
behind JC and rested his chin on JC's shoulder. JC chuckled as Chris
badgered Carson and lifted an arm to run a hand over Justin's cheek. After
everything calmed down Carson turned to Justin once again.
"So Justin, I guess since you're here, we have the honor of telling
you that you single is once again number one. And if you want, you can
introduce your video." Carson stated. Justin beamed and looked at JC.
"Hey America, this is Justin Timberlake, and I just wanted to thank
you for making my song, number one. Here it is "Like I Love You"." Justin
introduced. As the clip went to a video everyone in the audience and on the
stage relaxed. Justin, JC, and Chris all gathered and shook hands with
Carson before waving at everyone and walking backstage. They did not slip
out before signing a few autographs and taking some pictures. Justin ducked
behind the curtain and pulled JC along.
"I missed you so much!!" Justin said, as he wrapped his arms around
JC and pressed a kiss to his lips.
"I know! I missed you too. But I'm leaving tomorrow." JC said,
breaking the bad news to Justin right off the bat. Justin's smile wavered a
bit before looking intently at JC's eyes.
"It's okay, let's head to the hotel right now and not leave until
you have to." Justin suggested.

JC collapsed onto Justin, gasping for his breath. Both their bodies
were covered in a sheen of sweat, as their completely nude bodies pressed
to one another. JC pressed a small kiss to Justin's shoulder before rolling
onto his back on his side of the bed.
"I love you Josh." Justin stated as he let out gasps, his
glistening chest heaving. He cast a glance to JC's nude form next to him
and saw the condom still on his softening member. He grabbed a tissue and
wrapped it around JC's penis and pulled it off. He wadded up the tissue and
placed it on the nightstand.
"Thanks sweetheart, love you too." JC huffed. Justin stood up and
made his way to the bathroom. JC kept his eyes on Justin's firm ass as it
retreated into the room.
"Josh? Wanna shower or do you wanna bath?" Justin asked.
"Let's shower off and spend the day at the pool? They have an
indoor poor here right?" JC asked.
"Yeah, sure. Wanna call Joey and have him come down? Chris will
probably be up for swimming." Justin suggested.
"Yeah." JC said, walking into bathroom to see Justin picking up a
towel from the ground. JC walked up behind Justin and Pressed his crotch to
Justin's ass.
"Hmmm, so you like the position huh? I guess we'll try it
sometime." Justin snickered, as he stood erect and leaned back to press a
kiss to JC's cheek. JC smiled and turned on the shower.
"Josh, ever think about shaving your pubes?" Justin questioned idly
as he ran fingers through his curls. He stared at his reflection in the
mirror waiting for JC's response.
"I like my pubes, thank you very much. Why do you ask?" JC
responded.
"I dunno. Trace was talking about it with me. And I just kinda
brought it up." Justin remarked. JC rolled his eyes at the mention of Trace
and checked the water.
"Do you want to go out with Trace and me when I get back to
Orlando?" Justin spoke again.
"Where are you two going?" JC questioned, the iciness in his voice
barely noticeable.
"We're going out to a club. We haven't gone clubbing in so long."
Justin stated turning to face JC.
"No thanks, I'll probably just hang out with the kids. Amy and Ben
weren't too happy about staying with your Mom and Paul. I mean yeah they
liked going to visit their grandma but now they are at the age where they
will start crying when one of us isn't there." JC stated.
"Josh, come on, this is really important to me. I want you to come
and the kids will be fine with Mom. They'll probably be asleep anyway."
Justin answered. JC glanced at Justin who was giving him a pout that made
him looked ten times more adorable than usual.
"Sweetheart. . ." JC started. Justin noticing the tone to be a
denial interrupted him.
"Josh,. . . please. I want you to hang out with him. I hung out
with your friends after Heather's wedding." Justin brought up.
"No you chose to hang out with my friends so that we didn't have to
get involved with World War III between Brit and Lance." JC restated.
"No I went to make sure everyone didn't feel awkward. I mean I went
to many tables just to say hi and what not. I didn't want Heather's wedding
to be ruined because of Lance and Britney." Justin corrected.
"Justin, you avoided the situation. I don't blame you, but at least
admit to it." JC urged. Justin stared at JC for a bit with an intense stare
that almost spelled out a fight was about to ensue.
"Okay I avoided it. But I was seriously concerned for both of
them. I even helped Britney that night." Justin stated.
"Yes you did, but by that time it might have been a bit too late."
JC shrugged.
"What are you talking about? Why would it have been too late?"
Justin argued.
"Justin, Britney is one of your best friends. And you not helping
to console her after whatever they went through kinda made you look bad. I
mean it was Chris and Joey who rushed to help Lance while Chrissy and Cole
comforted Brit. Where were you?" JC asked.
"And what about you? I didn't see you doing anything." Justin
claimed.
"No I didn't because I was helping my sister not worry." JC stated.
"Josh, you are impossible! Why are we even talking about this now?
This is the only day we'll see each other for like a week." Justin stated
with an angered look.
"Because you brought it up." JC shrugged.
"No I didn't, you brought it up. I was just asking you to spend
time with Trace. And you just bring up Lance and Britney." Justin responded
defensively.
"Okay, if you are the one who doesn't want to talk about it, why
aren't you just dropping it. You keep blaming me for it." JC replied.
"Josh!!! You are so fucking irritating." Justin grumbled as he
walked out the room. He slipped on his pants and a sweatshirt and walked
out of the room leaving JC standing in the bathroom doorway with a
discouraged look.

Ben stepped out of the car in a white shirt and black tie. He held
the door open for Amy who was dressed equally nicely. Her skirt going a
little past her knees as her jacket fitted her body closely. Ben held a
hand out for her to help her out of the car and closed the door after
her. Both of them looked at the youngest member of the Chasez family as he
ran off in his choir robe to join the rest of the choir, which had already
met inside. JC stepped out of the driver's seat and looked over the hood of
the car where Justin was getting out. Both dressed in their Sunday
suits. Ben and Amy left their parents behind and began to walk towards the
church. Amy took Ben's arm and braced herself as the wind waved over them.
"So is Candy or Cindy or whatever her name is, going to be here
today?" Amy questioned.
"Her name is Mandy and yes she said she was going to sit by us
today." Ben corrected, smiling at his sister's attempts to irritate him.
"Oh yeah, sorry Mandy." Amy snickered as she let go of her
brother's arm and walked up the church steps. Ben placed an arm around her
and gave a stern look to the group of boys that turned once she entered.
"Ben, I wish you'd stop doing that, It's bad enough that Daddy and
Papa scare off all the guys, I don't need you to so it either." Amy sighed.
"Hey, I'm trying to find you a really good guy. How
about. . . Stanley, He seems like a good guy. He's on the football team
with me." Ben suggested.
"Maybe." Amy shrugged as they took their seat in the pew they
always sit in. They watched as JC and Justin walked in and took a seat in
the pew with. Both kids rolled their eyes at their parents and turned to
one another.
"Why does Pops, have to be so strict." Ben mumbled as he slouched
in his seat.
"Sorry he wouldn't let you go on the football trip. I know you guys
have been looking forward to that for a while." Amy shrugged.
"And I know you must be bummed cause Dad won't let you date Jerry
Ferguson." Ben replied. Amy nodded and crossed her arms over her chest.
"What are you two talking about?" JC asked, leaning over Justin to
see his kids.
"Nothing." They both replied as they stopped talking.
"Look guys, I know you are mad at us, but this is church, let it go
for the couple hours that we are here." JC stated. Both nodded obediently,
as JC sat back up again.
"I hate our parents." Ben mumbled.
	"Me too." Amy responded.

Justin woke up in the middle of the night to be welcomed by an
empty hotel room. He wiped the cold sweat from his face and sat up in the
large king size bed. He looked around and saw that his luggage was still
where he left it after taking it out of the room where JC was staying. He
got up from his bed and walked to the bathroom where he stood in front of
the mirror. He looked at his semi-nude body, which stood heaving for a
breath. He splashed his face with cold water and wiped it off with the
hotel towel. In a sudden rush of memory, the fight between JC and him came
rushing back. He remembered coming back form a heated walk to the room to
find JC on the phone while lying on the bed, gazing at the television. He
remembered, JC get off of the phone and asking him to talk, but Justin
remained adamant. He remembered grabbing his clothes from their afternoon
sex session and tossing it into his suitcase without even saying a word to
JC who was trying to desperately talk to him. He walked to the door and
mumbled a goodbye as JC shouted back, yelling his flight info and what time
he'd be departing in case Justin wanted to see him off. Justin then
proceeded to get another room where he was going to stay for the rest of
his stay in New York. With another glance in the mirror he let out a
deepened sigh before finally turning out the lights and making his way back
to his large lonely bed.

JC stood at the gate of the airport with Dre, their usual
bodyguard. He looked out the window, having checked his watch for the
fourth time in five minutes. He couldn't help but reply the fight over and
over in his head. It had just blown out of proportion so fast that he
couldn't help the way it turned out. He let out another stifled sigh and
looked back at the large clock that ticked over the gate of his airlines.
"Hey Jayce, I got you a coke." Dre said as he came back next to JC
with a bottle. JC gladly took the drink and took a deep swig.
"He's not coming Dre." JC mumbled.
"It's alright man. He just needs some time too cool off. You'll
see. By tomorrow he'll be calling you and you two will have one hot as hell
phone sex session." Dre joked. JC forced a smile and waited silently,
toying with the cap of his drink.
"All first class passengers for flight 5282, non-stop with service
to Orlando, you may now board the plane." A woman's voice stated over the
loudspeaker. JC stood up and made his way to the plane, carrying his
luggage with Dre following behind. He went through the pre boarding ritual
and made his way onto the plane.
"We are now allowing all other passengers to board. Please have
your boarding pass and identification ready." The voice stated. Other
passengers began to board the plane. And soon, the gate was left empty.

JC was miserable. He sat in the home where so many of the wonderful
memories between Justin and him have happened. He watched dully as his kids
played with Hunter, Ozzie, and Leo's ears., none of the dogs doing anything
as much to scare the kids. Leo placed his head down and chewed on his toy
while Ben petted the dog often times connecting the dots of the Dalmatian.
"Papa!" Amy called as she reached up to be held. JC brought her
onto the couch and sat her down next to him and watched as the girl lay her
head down in his lap. He gently sifted his fingers through her hair, the
way he would for Justin.
"Hello? Anyone home? Well of course your home, because you wouldn't
leave your door unlocked." Chris commented idly to himself. He walked into
the living room and took a seat on the recliner welcoming Ben who darted
toward him.
"Hey Benny." Chris stated, placing a big kiss on the boys cheek.
"Chris, have you heard from Justin?" JC inquired.
"Nope, last time I heard from him was in New York. I heard you guys
got into a big fight. How are you keeping up?" Chris asked, cocking his
head.
"I'm okay, I'm just worried. Things just ended on a bad note. I
mean it's a really bad note." JC sighed.
"Kinda like what Nick Carter sings huh?" Chris joked to himself. JC
rolled his eyes at the lame joke and glanced down at Amy who was now
shifting. She put her head on the cushion of the couch and rolled herself
into a ball. JC pulled the blanket from the couch and gently covered her.
"It's okay Jayce, you two will work it out. I know you will. Just
don't be too depressed. I think the kids are kinda picking it up." Chris
mumbled. Ben stood up and reached to be held by his Uncle Chris. Chris
cradled the boy who hugged the older man tightly.
"I'm trying. It's just I miss him and I think that it needs to be
resolved sooner than later." JC mumbled in return.
	"Call him." Chris suggested.

It was close to three hours later that JC was able to pick up the
phone and call someone. He sat in bed, which seemed to feel somewhat
spacious and empty suddenly, the phone pressed to his ear. He sighed as the
phone continued to ring continuously. He looked down to the dogs sleeping
on the floor between the large space between the wall and the bed. He
looked down at the spot where Justin usually sleeps, but saw the imprint
left by Ben who had fallen asleep on the bed while JC crooned him to bed
softly. He had sang to the boy causing the boy to smile and laugh, yet got
overly drowsy, dipping into slumber on his daddy's pillow. After JC put the
boy into his room along side his sister, he made his way back to the very
spot he was before, this time holding a phone on his shoulder.
	"Hey." JC mumbled.
"Josh, what the hell is your problem for calling me in this late at
night?" Tyler scowled.
"Why? Were you sleeping?" JC asked.
	"Well d'uh!" Tyler remarked.
"I need someone to talk to." JC mumbled.
	"Call Justin." Tyler whined.
"That's a great idea jackass, if Justin would answer my calls." JC
snapped back.
"I'm sorry Josh, do you need someone to talk to seriously?" Tyler
questioned, getting serious.
"Yeah kinda. I mean there is no one here I can talk to." JC sighed.
"What's wrong? You two had a fight?" Tyler questioned.
"A big one. I mean he didn't even come to see me off at the
airport. It was bad Ty. I don't know what's happening to us." JC stated
softly.
"Nothing's happening to you. Every couple has their fights. And now
it's just your time. I expect you two to work it out because divorce is not
the answer." Tyler demanded.
"We're not getting divorced." JC stifled.
"Josh, why don't you go to bed and sleep on it and then get back to
me in the morning. I mean a good night's sleep will do you good." Tyler
explained.
"Yeah I guess." JC mumbled. They both hung up the phone leaving JC
in silence on the bed. He got ready for bed, stripping to just his boxer
briefs, and was about to pull back the covers when he heard the front door
open. JC walked out of the room and down the stairs to find Justin walking
with bags slung over his shoulders and a suitcase in hand. He caught sight
of Josh and dropped his bags before turning around and waving out the front
door.
"Bye Trace." Justin called. JC moved down to the floor of the foyer
and stood in front of Justin.
	"Hey." JC said meekly.
"Hey." Justin responded shutting the door and carrying his bags up
the stairs. Josh followed sullenly as he walked past the upstairs sitting
area to their bedroom where he dropped his bags. JC sat on the bed watching
as Justin did his pre-slumber ritual of brushing his teeth, changing into
his clothes, and walking to his side of the bed. But then, Justin did
something that JC never expected. Justin took the pillow from his side of
the bed and carried it out of the room. He walked down the hall to where
the kids slept and carefully made his way into that room. JC let out a
large sigh and turned off the lights before settling into the large empty
bed.

"Dad wake up." Ben called as he shook Justin. Justin opened his
eyes and saw his seventeen-year- old son, shaking him. He looked at the boy
who had grown to be a strapping young man who held the hearts of many
female and some male admirers. He stood in his letterman jacket shaking his
dad, trying to coax the older man out of slumber. Justin grabbed the boy's
arm and pulled him forward causing Ben to fall on top of his father. Justin
pulled the boy into a tight hug.
"Dad! I love you. Really I do. But let me go. You're messing up my
hair." Ben choked as he pulled himself away from his father.
"My little son has all grown up." Justin joked.
"Dad, quit it. Pops is coming with Pete to take me to the football
game." Ben exclaimed, fixing his hair, remarkably similar to the way Justin
used to when he was Ben's age. Justin gave a little inward frown when
hearing JC's new boyfriend's name.
"Dad, can I ask you a question?" Ben asked shyly.
"Sure thing Benj. What's on your mind?" Justin asked, sitting up on
the couch, making room for his son to sit down.
"Why did you and Pops get divorced?" Ben asked softly, looking at
the ground.
"We had problems. And we felt that it was best for you guys that
you didn't see those problems." Justin explained.
	"Oh." Ben replied.
"Why Ben? Why do you want to know?" Justin questioned.
"Well I dunno how Amy feels, but I always kinda felt responsible."
Ben shrugged, a guilty look on his face. Justin wrapped an arm around his
son and pulled him closer.
"Ben, I don't want you to feel that way at all. Your Papa and I had
problems. We just never got along, that's we divorced. It wasn't because of
you at all. Okay? It wasn't your fault at all." Justin repeated.
	"I guess." Ben muttered.
"Dad. I can't find my sneakers, you know the white one's with the
blue laces. Have you seen them?" Amy asked, walking down the stairs and
looking around the foyer area.
"Amy, come here for a second." Justin signaled. Amy trudged over,
he hair in a pony tail hanging down to the top of her short sleeve
button-up shirt that cut off just at her naval.
"First, take a jacket with you. Second, your shoes are in the hall
closet. And third, I love you." Justin stated. Amy leaned down and kissed
her father on the cheek.
"Love you too, daddy." Amy responded before bouncing up the
stairs. Justin looked over at Ben who was still a bit blue.
"Ben, I promise you. I promise you on my life, that we did not get
divorced because of you. Ask Papa, when he comes." Justin suggested. Just
then the doorbell rang and they both looked back to the closed door. They
both stood and made there way to the door. Ben opened the door and caught
sight of his father standing at the threshold, wearing a pair of jeans and
a jersey. He had a comfortable stance, his hands in his pockets, while he
wore a grin at the sight of his son.
"Pops!" Ben smiled as he hugged JC in a long tight hug.
"Hey Buddy. How's it going? I see you made
varsity. Congratulations. Why didn't you call me yesterday to tell me?" JC
asked. Walking into the foyer with an arm around Ben's shoulder. Ben
shrugged and turned to see Pete.
"Hi Pete." Ben smiled amiably. Pete gave him smile in return and a
wave.
"Hey Justin." JC smiled. Justin gave a weak smile in return and
walked out of the room.

Justin awoke briefly, to a darkened room. He looked around and saw
he had fallen asleep in the rocking chair between Ben and Amy's crib. He
looked inside to see his children, still young and sleeping soundly in
their bed. He glanced down to his hand where he wore his wedding ring,
glimmering in the pale light of the moon. With a sigh he brought the
blanket to his chin and went back to sleep.

Christina tossed and turned in her bed. She thrashed around,
hitting anything and everything in her path. With a giant gasp she sat up
in bed, letting out a small cry. She looked about the bedroom, seeing if
traces of her nightmares were with her, but found the room empty. She
looked to the side of the bed and found that empty as well. She cast a
glance around the room, searching for the body she had fallen asleep
with. She caught sight of Cole sitting in a chair next to the window. He
sat in just an old pair of scrub bottoms, the thin pants hanging loosely
from his hips, while his tanned upper torso glowed in the sunlight.
	"Cole?" Christina asked softly.
	"Yeah?" Cole asked.
"Why are you over there?" Christina inquired.
"You punched me out of bed." Cole replied, his tone stricken and
serious.
	"I did?" Christina questioned.
"You always do. And instead of waking you up and hearing that you
had a bad dream and won't see a professional. I just sleep in this chair."
Cole shrugged.
"I have bad dreams." Christina shrugged off.
"It's more than that Chrissy. You may not think so but it's shaping
how you think. I know Marvin or Melvin or whatever his name was is still
bothering you. You need to get help." Cole stated clearly.
"Come to bed." Christina asked, more than stated.
"Not until you agree to get help." Cole said equally as
softly. Christina sat and thought about it before looking up at him.
"I will." Christina sighed. Cole stood from his chair and took his
place in bed once again. Christina lay her head down on his chest and
closed her eyes to resume slumber once again. Cole gently stroked her hair
and tried to fall asleep once again as well.

"Well the new album is done and out in November. The new single is
already out. So everybody go run out and get it! It's called 'Like I Love
You.' Support me so I can support my children." Justin snickered into the
phone. He sat in the den at the phone being interviewed by another radio
station. He sat wearing a large sweatshirt and a pair of tracks pants,
which made him even more comfortable in the comfortable leather chair.
"JC? JC is doing very well. He's enjoying his time off and he's
getting a chance to hang out with some friends, get into his writing, and
he spending lots of time with the kids." Justin explained. He sat and
rolled his eyes at the comment the radio DJ made about being the all
American couple.
"It was nice talking to you too. Thanks Rick." Justin said, before
hanging up. He looked across his desk and sighed at the amount of crap that
had piled up on it. It was mainly JC's stuff. Piles of lyrics, production
contracts, and his notebooks all cluttered the desk. Justin rose from his
seat and started to take his notebooks back to where they usually kept them
on the shelf. Justin dropped one of them and let out a growl. He put the
rest away before going back and picking up the fallen notebook. It had
opened to a page, filled with doodles. He caught sight of his name encased
in a heart with JC's. He smiled at JC's attempt to draw him and smiled when
Josh sketched a small house with a sign that said 'The Chasezes." Justin
couldn't help but smile. He closed the book and placed them with the rest.
"Dada?" Amy asked from the door, after Justin had taken a seat once
again at the desk.
"Hey Princess. Come here." Justin stated, waving to her to come
over. Amy walked to her father and climbed into his lap with his help.
"Dada, Papa?" Amy asked, looking up to her father.
"Papa is out. But do you know who is coming over?" Justin asked.
"Hmm?" Amy questioned, picking up a snow globe with a picture of
her and her brother within the snowstorm within.
"Uncle Trace is coming!" Justin announced. Amy, not recognizing the
name, continued to play with the snow globe.
"Hmm?" Amy questioned, never once looking up from the figure in her
hands.
"Uncle Trace, remember?" Justin questioned. Amy looked toward her
father and shook her head 'no'. Justin frowned a bit and showed her a
picture of Justin and JC, with Trace and Tyler in the picture as well.
"Who's that?" Justin asked, pointing to the picture of himself.
	"Dada!" Amy smiled in recognition.
	"That?" Justin stated.
"Papa!" Amy jumped a bit in her answer.
	"How about him?" Justin asked.
	"Unca tyer." Amy voiced.
	"And who's that?" Justin asked.
"I no no." Amy stated, shaking her head. Justin sighed and ran a
hand over his daughter's head before scooping her up. He walked into the
foyer in time to hear the sound of the doorbell. He jogged to the door with
Amy on his hips and opened the door to find JC carrying many bags of
groceries while Lance stood holding a bag himself.
"Hey Justin." Lance said with a quick smile before pressing a kiss
to Amy's cheek and brushing past him into the kitchen.
"Hey Lance." Justin stated, discouraged it wasn't Trace who came
by. JC moved into the foyer carrying his many bags.
"Papa!!" Amy shouted with a wide grin.
"Hey Sweetpea. How are you?" JC asked, bending back a bit and
kissing Amy hello. He stood up and gave a weak smile to Justin, longingly
staring at him.
	"Hey." JC whispered.
"Hey." Justin responded, giving an equally weak smile and moving
towards to the living room. JC sighed and walked into the kitchen, placing
the many bags down on the kitchen counter. He let out a small sneeze and
began sifting through the bags.
	"Bless You." Lance mumbled.
	"Thanks." JC automatically responded.
"Josh? Where does your cereal go?" Lance questioned.
"In the pantry." JC pointed. Lance walked to the pantry and walked
into the small closet like room that had shelves on three of it's sides. He
placed the cereal with the rest of the cereal and turned to see cases of
Pepsi, which had Britney's picture on each can. He let out a small sigh and
closed the door.
"Hey Lance, how are things going with you and Brit?" JC
questioned. Lance stayed silent for a bit.
	"Things are going." Lance replied.
	"That bad?" JC asked.
"Well we're kind of taking a break from each other. I mean she
feels really sorry, but I can't be with someone who kisses someone else."
Lance shrugged.
"Lance, you don't think at all that you might be over reacting just
a little bit?" JC posed kindly.
"No I don't, I mean her kisses are important to me, I savor each
one and well it's something I hold special between both of us you know?"
Lance asked. JC nodded and looked back toward Lance with an endearing look.
"I dunno. I mean I love her so much, but right now I can't stand to
look at her." Lance sighed.
"Lance, I know kisses mean a lot to you. But I have kissed other
people and Justin has kissed other people. As long as it was just that, a
kiss. You know?" JC took out a bunch of strawberries and placed them in the
refrigerator.
"I know, I dunno. I don't want to be mad at her, but I am." Lance
said sullenly.
"Lance, let me give you some advice. You can sit here and push her
away all you want until you are comfortable, but if you keep pushing her
away, one day she might pull away and leave you. She's a hot girl Lance,
she will move on if you don't." JC stated clearly. Lance pondered the words
for a moment, never really thinking from that point of view.

"Hello? Anyone here?" Joey called from the front door. Chris
followed with Britney and Christina in tow. They poked into the living room
to find Justin and Trace lounging about while Lance stayed with JC in the
kitchen.
"Who wants to go clubbing tonight?" Joey questioned, collapsing
onto the couch between Justin and trace. He gave a giant grin to both of
them.
"We can't, who's going to watch the kids?" Justin questioned. Lance
and JC came into the living room and waved to everyone.
"I can watch the kids, why don't you guys go out and have some
fun." JC suggested.
"No! You're coming! We need to have some long awaited fun!" Chris
flat out stated.
"Hey Give Laura a call. I bet she'd come over and baby sit." Lance
offered.
"I'll giver her a call." JC said, moving to the phone. He walked
out of the room only to come back in a few minutes later with a nod for
everyone.
"Okay she's on her way." JC announced.

The music bumped heavily from the speakers. All that could be heard
was the heavy base from outside the building. As the group emerged from
their cars and handed their keys over to valet, they walked past the lines
waiting to get into the club and waltz past the bouncer into the exciting
energetic zone of dancing. The lights flashed back and forth, spiraling
from one end to the other. The gang walked in as a group and soon split to
their respective places. Lance and Britney walked to a booth, which they
took over for the rest of the group. Justin and Trace hit the dance floor,
letting the music take over as they sauntered down. Christina took Cole's
hand and moved him down the stairs to the lower dance floor. Joey and Chris
hit the bar, talking while ordering something to drink, leaving JC to stand
alone at the entrance. He moved further into the club, catching people
staring at him from either sides of him. He saw a guy smile enticingly over
at him. A girl bent over as he walked by, displaying her ass fairly
well. He felt a guy softly grab his ass before he jumped a bit and move
hurriedly to the bar as well. Chris and Joey gave him a bit of a nod before
he gave his order to the bartender.
"So who are you dancing with tonight?" Joey asked loudly over the
music.
"I don't know. Anyone I can have fun with! Maybe I'll steal
Christina away from Cole for a bit. She's always fun on the dance floor."
Chris shrugged.
"I think I might choose one of the girls in that little pocket over
there." Joey stated pointing to a small group of young women.
"How about you JC?" Chris asked, watching JC as he nursed a beer
bottle, gazing longingly toward Justin who was ripping up the dance floor.
"JC. I want you to grab some guy out there. Any guy and dance with
him. Hell you can dance with a girl if you want." Chris stated, poking JC
in the chest with his finger. Chris paused for a moment and cupped JC's
chest.
"Josh, have you been working out? Your chest is like rock solid!"
Chris stated, groping JC's chest. JC chuckled and smacked away Chris's
groping hands.
"Joey, I mean it. Feel his rack." Chris stated. Joey reached out to
feel JC's chest, but JC moved away with a smile across his face.
"The only person that feels my rack is Justin and sometimes my kids
if they are sleeping on my chest." JC chuckled.
"Maybe you need some guy to feel your rack tonight. It'll help get
your mind off your fight with Justin." Joey suggested.
"I'm not letting anyone touch my rack. Just as Justin wouldn't let
anyone touch his." JC said adamantly.
"Yeah he wouldn't let people touch his chest, but he sure as hell
would let them touch his ass." Chris stated, pointing toward Justin. JC
caught sight of Justin who was dancing with a guy, not too closely, yet
while they danced Justin's hands remained by his side while the guy had one
around his back and the other on his ass. JC rolled his eyes at the sight
and looked down at the beer in his hand.
"Cheer up Josh, he's pissing you off. Don't worry, he doesn't mean
it. Now go have some fun!" Chris said, grabbing JC's face and kissing his
cheek sloppily before moving down the stairs to join the dance floor. Joey
shrugged and walked away leaving JC to sit and watch. He took one last swig
of his beer and moved to the booth where Britney and Lance were ending
their conversation.
"I'm sorry Lance. I really am." Britney stated softly, in his
ear. He placed an arm around her and brought her into a hug.
"I'm just afraid I'll lose you." Lance responded.
"You're not going to lose me, I love you." Britney said as she
pressed a kiss to his lips.
"Well it looks like someone made up!" JC stated, standing over the
two with a broad smile across his lips. Lance gave him a big smile and
pressed a kiss to Britney's forehead.
"Go on, hit the dance floor. I'm gonna watch the table." JC
chuckled. Lance and Britney rose from the booth and walked out to the dance
floor.

JC sat alone at the table with his second drink in front of him. He
gazed out onto the dance floor where the song switched to something which
riled the rest of the crowd, yet caused the rest of the gang to walk back
to the booth.
"They had to ruin a perfect night by playing a Backstreet Boy
song." Chris chuckled as he took a seat, followed by Lance and
Britney. Justin and Trace took the last seats in the booth and let out
large sighs of relief. Cole took a seat at the open end of the booth and
welcomed Christina to his lap.
	"Where is Joe?" JC asked.
"Dancing up a storm." Britney smiled.
"Hey let's order some drinks." Trace suggested, flagging over the
waitress. They all placed their drink orders. JC couldn't help but smile
inwardly as Justin asked for a Coke, knowing that Justin usually ordered
something alcohol-free, and always sipped at JC's drink. JC looked forward
to Justin reaching over the table and sipping from his drink. The waitress
came back with their orders and passed them around the table. JC watched as
Justin took a sip from his own drink, reveling in the cool Coke that filled
his hot dry mouth. JC took a sip from his beer, knowing it was Justin's
favorite out of all of the one's he's ever had.
"Hey can I get a sip of that?" JC heard Justin ask. He began to
push his drink toward Justin when he saw Justin reach over to Trace's drink
and take a swig.
	"You like it?" Trace questioned.
"It's alright." Justin shrugged. Justin looked around the table and
connected eyes with JC for a brief moment before looking away.
"Excuse me guys, I think I'm going to head home. I'm a bit tired. I
guess I'll talk to you guys tomorrow." JC said as he quickly stood and
walked out, barely waiting to her goodbyes. He stepped into the night air,
smiling at the people who still stood in line. Some started to take
pictures of him as he handed his valet stub to the attendant. He waited for
his car to come, tapping his foot anxiously. As his car pulled around, he
handed the valet a tip before stepping into the car. He stopped when
someone opening the passenger door. He smiled weakly when catching sight of
Britney taking a seat and closing the door.
"I'm coming with. I need to sleep and Cole and Christina are going
to take over the house tonight and well I hear you have a large bed all to
yourself lately. So I'm gonna crash with you." Britney smiled.
"uhm. . . okay." JC stated shrugging. He changed gears and started
to drive. The car was a bit silent for a moment. Neither one talked, nor
attempted to turn on the radio.
"Okay, as much as I like to hear your breath, I really need some
music." Britney blurted. She flipped on the radio to find it tuned to JC's
jazz station.
"Josh, you have sappy taste in music." Britney snickered, never
attempting to change the station.
	"Sorry." JC shrugged.
"Josh, are you upset?" Britney inquired.
"Yeah a little." JC shrugged again.
"Is it because he took a sip from Trace's drink?" Britney
questioned.
"How did you know?" JC asked in disbelief.
"Josh, out of the many years we've known each other, how many times
have we gone clubbing. And out of all those times clubbing, how many times
has Justin taken a sip from your drink. We all know it's something that you
two do. That's why when he did that, everyone kinda stopped talking for a
second." Britney stated.
"Oh well, he has Trace now." JC shrugged.
"Shut up Josh. Justin is just being a jackass. I bet he did that on
purpose just to piss you off. Whatever you two are fighting about, it's
big. What are you two fighting about?" Britney questioned.
"I don't know. I mean I think it all started when he asked me about
his single and I told him I didn't like it. I mean I may have been a bit
mean about it, but I seriously tried to be honest. And then we got into a
fight when we were in New York. We got to talking and I kind of mentioned
that he wasn't a good friend at the wedding. And it just turned into one
big argument. And I don't think Trace is helping much. He just seems to
provoke Justin into fighting more." JC said, pulling down the street to the
Harliss residence. Both him and Britney hopped out of the car and walked to
the door.
"I don't like Trace at all. He's a bad influence on Justin."
Britney stated, knocking at the door. Laura answered the door in her
pajamas and smiled when seeing her brother-in-law.
"Hey Josh. Amy is fast asleep, but Ben is wide awake." Laura
explained, moving aside to let them in. They walked into the living room
where Amy snoozed under blankets, her small head propped on a small
pillow. Ben, on the other hand, was amusing himself with a pop-up book. He
looked up and caught sight of his father.
"Papa!!" Ben shouted jumping up and running to JC. JC smiled and
lifted the boy into his arms.
"Hey Buddy, did you have fun with Aunt Laura?" JC asked in a hushed
tone, trying not to wake Amy.
"Mmm hmm. " Ben stated, starting to toy with JC's Leo pendant.
"Ready to go home?" JC questioned, looking down into his son's
face. Ben lifted his head to connect eyes with his father and nodded.
"Okay why don't you put your stuff back into the bag and then we'll
go." JC said, putting the boy down. Ben started to pick his stuff up once
JC handed him the backpack. Britney leaned over and scooped Amy up, leaving
the blankets behind. She lifted Amy's little jacket and placed it around
her. Ben packed up his stuff and handed the bag to his father. JC slung it
over his shoulder and took Ben's hand.
"Bye Laura. Thanks." JC said, leaning down a slight bit to giver
her a kiss on the cheek. Laura waved them off and closed the door. They
both hopped in the car. Amy sleeping on Britney's shoulder and Ben sat in
the back seat with the middle seatbelt wrapped around his waist.
"Drive slowly." Britney recommended. JC did as told and drove
slowly down the short street to the development that housed their
house. They drove, making a series of turns until finally pulling into the
driveway. They both quickly gathered up the children and moved into the
house.
"So where is Justin sleeping?" Britney asked.
"I don't know. Either the living room or the kids room. I hope he
comes home to the bedroom tonight." JC sighed.
"Can I crash with you? I really don't want to drive home and Lance
is spending the night here anyway." Britney questioned. JC nodded and
walked into the kids' room where he placed the sleeping Amy and turned off
the lights.
"Come on Ben. You can sleep in Daddy and Papa's bed tonight okay?"
JC suggested. Ben hopped along next to his father toward the master
bedroom. JC turned off the lights and watched as Ben ran to Leo who laid
awake on the floor. Ben crouched in front of the dogs and started to toy
with his ears happily. Leo lay motionless, looking up at the young boy in
weariness.
"Benj. Leave Leo alone. " JC stated. Lifted the boy and placing him
on the bed. JC undressed and slipped into a pair of pajama pants before
crawling into bed. Britney came into the room wearing a long oversized
shirt that barely made it to her knees and took a seat on Justin's side.
"I'm going to take Lance's room okay?" Britney told him. JC nodded
as he crawled into bed and pulled back the covers for Ben to crawl in. Ben
snuggled up to her father and closed his eyes. JC leaned down and placed a
kiss to the boys head.
"Goodnight guys." Britney stated, getting up and turning off the
lights before leaving the room.
	"Goodnight." JC stated, out loud.
	"Ni ni." Ben echoed.

"mum-mum mum-mum." Ben sang as he walked behind JC to the
kitchen. JC still remained in the same state of dress as he was when he
went to sleep. He had gotten up to Ben climbing on top of him and holding
his nose. He got up to see if Amy was up, she was already out of her crib,
probably with Justin. JC got Ben ready and bathed before helping him down
the stairs toward the kitchen. Ben followed behind JC, clutching JC's pant
leg. As they walked into the kitchen, they caught sight of Justin and
Trace sitting at the table while Amy sat in her highchair, eating
cereal. Ben stopped talking and hid behind JC's leg at the unfamiliar face.
	"Morning." JC mumbled.
	"Morning." Trace responded.
"What do you want to eat Ben?" JC asked, lifting the boy up.
"I want Pancakes." Lance sounded, walking into the room, his hair
disheveled, and clothes thrown on.
"Than you can make the pancakes Mr. Bass." JC snickered.
"Well then. I want . . . cereal." Lance announced.
	"Good choice." JC laughed.
"Morning everyone!" Britney chimed, walking in a large sweatshirt
and a pair of sweats.
"Too chipper." JC winced, pulling out some applesauce into a bowl
for Ben. Ben rested his head down on JC's shoulder and smiled at everyone.
"Hello sweety. How are you?" Britney asked, tilting her head to
match Ben's. Ben giggled at his aunt and reached out for her. Britney took
him from JC's arms and lifted him above the air.
"How is the most gorgeous man in the room?" Britney questioned,
tickling Ben.
"I'm doing fine thanks." Trace answered. Britney gave him a glare
and rolled her eyes before bouncing over to the counter where she took a
seat. Everyone grabbed their food and slowly ate away in the respective
spots. Britney at the counter with Lance while JC sat at the kitchen table,
feeding Ben who was in his highchair.
"Okay Benny, you eat yourself now okay?" JC stated.
"kay." Ben responded, not really understanding what he said. He,
however, did grab the spoon and attempted to feed himself. A silence fell
over the room and all that could be heard is the sounds of people eating.
	"So Josh. . . " Trace started.
"Don't call me Josh." JC replied quickly.
"Uhm. . . okay JC, Justin and I are heading to head to Universal,
wanna come?" Trace asked.
"No thank you." JC stated, looking up to see Justin watching him
while eating a spoonful of cereal.
"Why not?" Justin voiced, his voice cold and indifferent.
"Cause I have things I have to do." JC replied.
"Like?" Justin questioned. Both Britney and Lance watch cautiously
as the couple started to speak. JC looked up at Justin's hard eyes staring
back at him.
"What? You don't trust me?" JC questioned.
	"Answer the question." Justin replied.
	"Answer mine." JC retorted.
"Okay. You two are being the biggest, most stubborn assholes right
now. So here is what we're going to do. We're going to take the kids and
Trace and go to the living room until you two hash things out." Britney
said with a deep sigh. She lifted Amy from her seat, while Lance took care
of a messy-faced Ben.
"Come on Trace. This is their business not yours." Britney
demanded. Trace grudgingly got up and walked out of the room. The only
people left were Justin and JC who sat staring at each other.
	"I love you." JC mumbled.
"What did you say?" Justin asked.
"I said I love you." JC repeated clearer.
"God JC. Why do you always fucking do this?" Justin sighed standing
up and walking to the kitchen sink where he started to wash his bowl.
"Do what? Okay from now on. I won't say 'I love you' anymore. Is
that what you want?" JC inquired.
"Josh, I love you. I really do. But whenever we get into a fight
you always just try to fix. You never make an attempt to talk about it! All
you do is accept what ever you did wrong, whether you know what it was or
not. Why don't you try to talk to me!?" Justin yelled.
"Oh please Justin. I tried to talk to you and you refused to talk
back. How are we supposed to talk it out if you won't talk back?" JC
called.
"Why are you always dropping the ball into my court. Even when you
do something wrong, you make it like I'm the bad person in this whole
thing." Justin responded.
"That's one of your ways to avoid talking about it! Justin, speak
to me. Do you know how much it hurts to know that you pissed off or hurt
your best friend, your husband, your other half, and not know what you did
or how to fix it? Obviously not, cause all you've been thinking about is
yourself. I've tried talking to you; I've tried giving you space. Hell I've
tried talking to your friends for help and you still don't understand. It's
just that you're so stubborn that you can't do that." JC stated with a hurt
look on his face.
"That's bullshit Josh. You disregard my feelings whenever
possible. If anyone is thinking about themselves than it's you. You
disregard how I feel all the time. And to be honest, I really don't want to
have this conversation with you, here and now." Justin stated, walking out
of the kitchen.
"Fine! Run! Like you always do!" JC called out towards him.
"Fine I will!!" Justin called back.

"Why are we going over if they are going to be fighting. Do they
really need an audience that bad?" Joey asked.
"We are going to force them to work it out tonight. Justin's gonna
be going on a publicity tour the day after tomorrow. And if they don't work
it out before then. I fear that they might spread apart even more."
Christina stated.
"And we can't let that happen. Justin and JC are like the perfect
couple." Britney chimed in, walking to the front door.
"Wait for us! We have the food!" Chris yelled, Lance and him
running toward the door. They all looked up and saw the overcast clouds
above, knowing that in about an hour or so, it was going to rain.
"The pizza is burning my hand. Here Lance you take it!" Chris
stated, handing the stack of boxes to Lance quickly, before taking the bags
of junk food and soda from his hand.
'Thanks!" Lance stated rolling his eyes. Britney turned around and
pressed a kiss to Lance's lips before turning toward the door again,
physically shivering from the cool breeze. JC opened the door with Amy
poking her head out from behind his leg and welcomed them all in. Amy
smiled at the sight of her aunts and uncles and took Christina's
hand. Christina smiled and walked with her toward the living room.
Christina took a seat and lifted Amy into her lap. Amy started to reach out
for her nose ring. Christina playfully pushed her hand away and watched as
she tried to reach for her chin piercing. Christina playfully pushed her
hand away, which caused Amy to bring it back with a giggle. Christina took
a hold of her hands and pretended to bite them.
"What are you guys doing here?" JC asked, with a small smile.
"We're going to hang out. Watch a triple feature and chow down on
junk food and alcohol. Of course we got some soda for Britney who is
convinced that beer is making her break out." Chris stated, glaring at
Britney.
"I swear it is! It's either that or it's a coincidence that happens
all too often!" Britney sighed. Lance and Britney took a spot on the love
seat. Oreo hopped onto the couch and curled up next to Lance as Lance
delighted in seeing the cat. Joey and Chris took over the floor between the
couch and the coffee table. JC took his seat in the recliner once again and
watched as the dogs came sauntering into the room.
"Hey puppies." Christina cooed, pointing at them for Amy to
see. Amy smiled as Hunter came up to the edge of the sofa and sniffed
curiously at her feet.
	"Unty." Amy called.
	"Awww so cute!!!" Christina chimed.
"Where is Mr. Justin this evening?" Chris asked.
"Mr. Justin, is right here. Hey guys." Justin stated, Trace in tow.
"Hey Justin." everyone chimed, purposely forgetting Trace who stood
unappreciated.
	"Pizza! What kind?" Justin asked.
"All sorts of kinds. Check it out." Joey commented.
"Hey Justin I'm going to go now. Talk to you later okay?" Trace
responded.
"Oh yeah sure, see ya Trace." Justin mentioned, as he watched Trace
leave through the front door.
"Thank God he's gone! That guy gives me the creeps." Christina
mentioned, grabbing a slice of her own. Everyone gave a mumble for
agreement and started to rummage through all the food.
"He's not bad you guys. You just have to get to know him." Justin
remarked.
"How could I get to know him if he's threatening my life." JC
mumbled.
"What was that?" Justin asked. JC looked, up surprised that anyone
heard him and shook his head.
	"Nothing." He stated.
"So what movies are we watching?" Justin questions.
"You are not watching anything. Cause you need to go check your
mail in the den. I sent you something important and want you to read it."
Britney lied. Justin sighed and walked into the den.
"Hey Josh. I thought of this rift. Let me show you. You still have
the piano in the den right?" Joey asked.
"Yeah, hey you guys, if Ben cries could you get him from his crib
upstairs?" JC asked. They all nodded and continued to eat amongst
themselves. Joey led JC into the den and watched as JC and Justin exchanged
distant glances. Joey led JC to the piano and was about to sit down when he
stopped.
'Wait I forgot my notes, I think I left them with Lance. Be right
Back." Joey stated. JC followed him with his eyes and watched as he walked
out of the den doorway. He watched as Chris gave them a devilish glance
from the doorway and closed the door. JC looked confused for a bit before
finally focusing on the doorknob where a padlock was placed, making it
impossible for them to leave unless someone opens the door from the
outside.
	"Fuck!" JC scowled.
	"What?" Justin asked.
"Look at the doorknob Justin." JC said., placing his head down on
the top of the piano. Justin's eyes widened when connecting with the
doorknob and ran to the door.
"Let us out of here you guys! You better open the door before I
kick all of your asses. Girls included." Justin yelled.
"Work out your problems and then we'll open the door." Christina
yelled, her mouth full of pizza.
"And stop yelling so much. You might wake up Ben!" Britney
chastised. Just then they heard a cry from upstairs.
"Nevermind. He's up. I'll get him!" Lance commented.

Justin and JC sat on opposite sides of the room. JC sat at the
piano, slowly fiddling with the keys, while Justin sat at the desk, staring
down at the pictures scattered atop the desk. Mindlessly, JC started to
play the chorus to 'This I Promise You.' Justin looked up towards JC who
had a saddened face while keying the piano.
	"Stop it Josh." Justin snapped.
"What? What am I doing?" JC asked, tossing his hands into the air.
"You are purposely playing that song. Our song, just so you can get
at me. Well it's not going to work." Justin retorted.
"Justin. I don't care what we were fighting about anymore. Let's
just end it." JC sighed.
"Josh, you hurt me. And I don't just want to forget about it."
Justin stated standing up and moving to the shelves, which housed all of
the music awards they have received.
"Than tell me what I did wrong? I mean I don't remember hurting
your feelings." JC stated, arms wide open as if waiting.
"See's how much you love me." Justin mumbled.
"Just, Blue, I love you more than life itself. I would give my life
up for you. Hell I would give all of whatever we had just to be with
you. But sometimes I do stuff and you get mad about them and don't tell me
what I've done. And until you tell me, we're never going to get this worked
out." JC stated. Justin sat silently contemplating JC's words. Suddenly
there was a tap on the window followed by another, and another, and
another. The rain started to poor down, hitting the glass windows all
around them. JC sighed and walked to the fireplace where he started to
place logs in a pile. He placed a little bit of newspaper that had been
rolled tightly in the center and struck a long match to light the holdings
of the fireplace. The fire started slowly but surely, soon coming to a
crackling fire that elicited warmth. JC sat in front of it and focused on
the crackling sound to avoid the loud silence.
"You ripped apart my single." Justin stated softly.
"What?" JC asked, focusing on Justin as he turned to look at him.
"You ripped apart my single. I spent so much time and work to
create that song and you tore it to piece in ten seconds." Justin
mumbled. JC closed his eyes and let out a sigh of remembrance.
"I'm sorry Justin. I really am, I honestly thought you wanted me to
be harsh and give you what I felt. I was speaking as your coworker and not
your husband. That was my fault." JC nodded, glancing at Justin and
connecting eyes with him again. Once again the room grew silent, sending
both men to look at anything but each other.
"You said I wasn't a good friend." Justin claimed.
	"When?" JC asked,
"In New York in the hotel room. You said I didn't help Lance and
Britney, which I didn't, but you said because of that I was a bad friend. I
wasn't a bad friend. It's just I love them both and didn't want to choose a
side." Justin pointed out.
"Then why didn't you tell me that in New York?" JC asked with a
chuckle.
"Because you called me a bad friend. I was pissed at you." Justin
said, breaking into a slight grin.
"I'm sorry Justin. Seriously, by talking about what happened to
Lance and Britney, I forgot that you are close to both of them. And I
really didn't mean to call you a bad friend. If you were a bad friend you
wouldn't be having a bunch of friends outside locking you in a room. And
besides how can I criticize my best friend." JC stated, looking down on the
rug he sat on. Justin got up from the desk and took a seat next to him on
the rug. They both looked at one another and smiled before gazing back to
the fire.
"You don't like Trace." Justin stated.
"No I do not." JC agreed.
"Why?" Justin asked, not defensively, but inquisitively.
"You know Blue, I don't know. I just get a bad vibe from him. He
doesn't seem to like me so I don't seem to like him." JC shrugged. A
comfortable silence drifted over them for a moment.
"What did you mean by him threatening you?" Justin questioned.
"You heard that?" JC asked. Justin nodded. JC sat back on the
white furry rug. His arms behind him, propping him up, while his legs
stretched out in front of him toward the fire. Justin shifted so that he
lay down on the rug, placing his head in JC's lap.
"Well it was right after he came back I guess. And he took me a
side and said he would literally kill me if I hurt you. And as much as I
like meeting new people and making new friends, I really can't be a friend
with someone who threatens me the first second I've met them.
"He threatened you? So early?" Justin asked.
"Yeah, and I guess that started off a bad relationship. I just
never wanted to tell you, cause it is your bestest friend and all." JC
shrugged. Justin turned his head to look up at JC.
"He's not my bestest friend, Indy." Justin stated.
"Sorry, is that Britney?" JC asked with a small chuckle.
"Nope, it's you." Justin smiled softly. JC smiled to himself and
basked in the warmth of the fire.
	"I love you." Justin whispered.
"I love you more." JC whispered back.

"Can you let us out now? We worked out our problems." Justin called
through the door.
"How do I know you worked out your problems and aren't just saying
that so you two can get out?" Chris called.
"What do you want us to do? Have sex in here or something?" JC
called through the wooden door.
"That would be very convincing." Joey nodded.
"No! Forget it! Justin and I don't mind staying in here then." JC
responded.
"That's sounded convincing too." Joey stated.
"If you let us out I'll give each of you two hundred dollars."
Justin announced.
"Sorry Curly, but we are all as rich as you. We don't need the
money." Lance stated, his low laugh resonating through the door.
"Let us out!! We want food! We're starving!" Justin whined loudly.
"Oh fine! You big baby! All you do is whine. Whine, whine, whine!"
Chris taunted getting up and turning the doorknob. As soon as he opened the
door, Justin started to punch him in the arm and then tackled him to the
floor.
"I am not, a baby! Take it back! Take it back right now!" Justin
said, barraging the laughing Chris.
"I'm only saying this, because you are heavy as hell. I take it
back! You are a Big Boy." Chris laughed. Justin, content with the change,
smiled and stood off of Chris. JC took the recliner seat, being that it was
the only one available. Justin walked over and reclined with JC, curling up
to the older man's body.
"Pass me a piece of pizza." Justin asked. Chris tossed him a whole
box, which landed, nicely in his lap. Justin opened the box to find three
slices of warm pepperoni. He pulled a slice from the box and sat contently
close to JC, eating pizza.
"Where are my children?" JC asked.
"Oh! Crap! I knew I forgot something in the kitchen!" Joey
shouted. JC gave him a shocked looked until Joey starting to crack up
laughing.
"They are in their beds. I read them a story and Britney sang them
a song." Lance chuckled.
"Ha. Ha. Very funny. I hope you laugh just as hard when I joke
about leaving your daughter in the kitchen alone." JC said, slumping back
into his chair.
"So everything is cool between you two? We're not going to have to
break the group up?" Chris questioned.
"Nope. Everything is fine. Nothing is gonna break the group up."
Justin stated.
"So Curly, when are you heading to LA?" Joey questioned.
"Day after next. Josh and the kids are coming for the weekend to
look for suitable houses and then after the weekend and a few TV show
appearances I'm gonna head to New York and he's going to head to Dad's
place for a stop over. Spend the night and then come home." Justin
announced, looking back towards JC to see if he was correct.
"Wait a minute. You guys have been fighting for like a month and
yet you still made plans to go house shopping together?" Lance questioned.
"No, we just decided to go house shopping right now. I want to get
a house in the LA-Hollywood area. This way when I go out there, I can have
a place to stay in and not have to live out of a suitcase in hotels. And I
always wanted a house in the LA area." Justin shrugged.
"It'll be our vacation house." JC shrugged. Justin rested back
against JC's chest and continued munching on his pizza.
"So what do you two have planned for tonight?" Joey asked. Justin
and JC looked at one another and shared a small smile.
"Make-up sex." Justin announced nonchalantly. Christina and Britney
cooed at the response, while Chris, Joey, and Lance all shared a look
stating 'too much information.'
	"Awkward moment." Chris stated.
"Aww Chris. You want to join in?" Justin asked getting off of JC
and sitting on Chris' lap. Chris wrapped both arms around Justin's waist
and hugged tightly.
"I love you. . . but not like that." Chris said, poking at Justin's
sides causing him to jump in Chris' lap. Justin continued to sit in Chris'
lap as Chris started to squirm underneath the younger man.
"Dude, Curly! How did you get so freakin' heavy? When you were you
were a kid you used to sit on me all the time and it never bothered
me. Josh, man, what have you been feeding him?" Chris asked.
"My man makes the best food on the planet. Well not the best. I
mean Wolfgang Puck or Julia Child might be better, but he's damn good."
Justin stated.
"Oh please. . . Josh can cook, but I would prefer going to any
restaurant than eat his cooking." Joey shrugged.
"Joey you wouldn't care who made it as long as it was food." Justin
snickered.
"Yeah yeah. Anyways. Justin, are we still meeting up in New York?
My mom wants to know so she can make more food." Joey. Justin gave a small
nod from a top Chris and slipped off of Chris to the spot next to him. They
all paused when the heard a sudden scream from a child upstairs.
	"Dada!!!!" Amy squealed.
"I'll go!" JC stated, getting up and leaving the group.

The shower water splashed onto Justin's back as he leaned heavily
on the tile surface of the shower wall. He let out the steady grunt and
moan as he rocked up against the wall and back. He reveled in the touch of
JC's hand's that wrapped around his waist and was stroking his manhood with
the rhythm of his driving hip. JC's penis penetrated the younger man
eliciting moans from both men as the rhythm built them both up to a
mind-blowing orgasm. JC blew his seed into the condom that was wrapped
around him, while Justin sprayed against the wall. Justin let out a sigh
mixed with a moan as JC's fumbled with his softening member. JC pulled out,
but pressed his front against Justin's back, pressing small kisses to the
nape of Justin's neck. This was the third time they had gone at it that
evening. The first was after everyone had left and the children were
asleep. Justin and JC never made it beyond the living room where they spent
close to two hours caressing and pleasuring one another. The second was
when they made it to the bedroom. They both became enwrapped into mutual
oral pleasure, causing both men to blow their loads into each other's
waiting mouth. And finally the third time as they both showered up in the
master bedroom bathroom. Justin leaned back against JC's chest and allowed
the older man to massage his chest as streams of water fell down them both.
	"Josh?" Justin whispered.
	"Yeah, Blue?" JC responded.
	"I love you." Justin stated.
"I love you more." JC stated, pressing a kiss to Justin's shoulder
once more before reaching in front of Justin to turn off the shower
faucets. The water came to a stop and caused both men to move toward the
door, needing to dry off. JC handed Justin a towel and wrapped once around
his waist. Justin did the same and put on his glasses that rested on he
marble countertop. Justin began to brush his teeth as JC moved out of the
bathroom into the large open bedroom.
	"Indy?" the cotton-mouthed Justin called.
	"Yeah?" JC asked in return.
"Can I take your leather jacket with me when I go to LA and New
York?" Justin questioned.
"Justin. . ." JC started to reject.
"Please Josh? I'll be really careful. I swear I will." Justin
stated, after spitting into the sink.
"Justin, do you promise to guard it with your life?" JC
asked. Justin wiped his mouth off and walked out into the room.
"I swear I will wear the thing as if it were made of gold." Justin
stated, both hands in the air.
"Then yeah you can." JC claimed.
"Cool. Can I take your jerseys and sweatshirts too? It might get
cold." Justin stated with a small smile.
"Just. Sweetheart, go ahead and take anything you want. Just don't
mess it up." JC snickered. Justin became immediately happy and started to
yank articles of clothing out of the hanger and piled them onto the rocking
chair that sat by the window. After Justin had raided JC's closet, he made
his way to the dresser and grabbed a bottle of JC's favorite cologne. He
took the bottle and started to spray each of the clothes gently.
"What are you doing Blue?" JC asked, glancing up as he slipped on a
pajama pants. Justin turned slightly sending a small smile towards JC.
"I'm making all the clothes smell like you." Justin snickered.
"You truly are insane." JC shrugged. Justin shrugged and continued
to spray all the clothes. He stopped JC's leather jacket and his favorite
jersey and sweatshirt. JC wore these so much that his smell was embedded
into them. JC placed down the cologne and took a whiff of his husband's
favorite articles of clothing.
"Now you're smelling my clothes? Justin, have you lost your mind?"
JC questioned pulling Justin's towel from his waist. Justin now stood fully
nude in front of him. JC pressed a small kiss to Justin's shoulder before
making to his spot on the bed. He climbed into the bed and turned on the
television with the remote. Justin lifted the pile of clothes before
dropping them back down on the futon again.
"Justin, come to bed. You have all of tomorrow." JC called with a
laugh. Justin sighed and pulled out a pair of boxers and slipped them on
before making his way to the bed with a book. He climbed onto his stomach
so that he faced the foot of the bed. He opened the book and started to
read from where he last left off. He moved the glasses further up his nose
and became infatuated in the literature. JC stared at Justin's back and the
cute, studious look, Justin wore as he became engrossed into the
words. Shot of a gu and people screaming came blaring out of the TV,
however, JC's focus wasn't changed.
"What are you watching?" Justin asked, not looking away from his
book.
	"My favorite show. . . it's called. . . Justin." JC stated
softly. Justin broke contact with his book to look back at JC who was
staring at him lovingly.
"Josh, that was sweet. It made me feel tingly when Tom Cruise said
it to Penelope Cruz in Vanilla Sky too. You're lifting lines from
movies. Did you think that I wouldn't catch you? Tom Cruise is just the
only man on earth I would sleep with while still married to you." Justin
joked, sitting on the bed and moving back so that he rested against JC's
chest.
"Shall we go to sleep? I'm feeling tired and we have to get ready
to go to LA tomorrow." JC suggested.
"Sure." Justin mumbled. They both crawled into bed, Justin putting
his book aside while JC turned off the television. They both turned out the
lamps and moved towards each other. Justin lay on his side while JC faced
him, an arm thrown over his waist and pulled closer. JC pressed a small
kiss to Justin's cheek before laying his own head on the pillow and closing
his eyes.
