I would like to thank everyone who has emailed me about this story.  I
truly appreciate your comments.  I hope ou enjoy reading the next
chapters to come.

Justin Stole My Heart        Chapter  13

"All In The Family"


  Justin and I were in the car on our way to the hospital, to go see my
mother one last time.  I called my father, and explained to him what
happened, and we both cried.  When Justin pulled into the hospital,
there were a lot of ambulances there.  We parked the car, and went in to
the emergency room entrance.  I walked up to the nurse that was at the
triage station.

"Excuse me, I am here to see my mother.  She was in the multiple car
wreck.  She died at the scene, and they told me they were bringing her
here."

"I am sorry for your loss sir.  What was your mothers name?"

"Her name is Patricia Liery."

"She is in room 120, down that hall, and to the left."

"Thank you."

  Justin and I walked to the room, and I couldn't go in at first.  I
couldn't see my mother yet.

"Mika, if you want me to go in there with you, I will."

"Please come with me Justin, I can't do this alone."

"OK Mika, come on."

  We walked into the room, and I was not prepared to see what I saw.  My
mother was in a bed, hooked up to all of these machines, and she was
alive.  My mother was alive.

"If this is some kind of sick joke, I swear I will kill whoever did
it....."

Just then a doctor walked in.

"Excuse me, are you related to her?"

"Um....yes, I am her son.  What is going on, they told me she died at
the scene."

"Yes, she did die at the scene, but the EMT's did everything they could
to bring her back, and they succeeded.  She went into surgery, as soon
as the med vac landed, and she just came out about 10 minutes ago.  We
are expecting her to make a full recovery."

"A full recovery.  Oh my god, Justin did you hear that?  He said a full
recovery."

"That's what I heard Mika.  Your mom is gonna make it after all."

"I can't thank you enough Dr.???  What is your name again?"

"My name is Dr. Deli Pietra."

"Thank you so much Dr. Deli Pietra."

"Well, I can't take all of the credit, the EMT's brought her back.  They
should be the ones you are thanking."

"Where can I find them?"

"They are probably still at the scene.  There were a lot of cars
involved in this wreck, and a lot of people were injured."

"Thank you again for saving my mother."

The doctor walked out of the room, and I sat there thanking god for
everything that he has done for me.

"Mika, shouldn't you call your father and tell him what happened.  He
would want to know."

"Oh, you're right, I should call him."

"Will you stay here with her while I go call him?"

"I won't go anywhere until you get back."


Well, this is it for chapter 13.  I know it's short, but it was a good
