Now just to remind you this story is completely fantasy and it is not meant
to be taken for reality. I do not know what the boys are currently doing or
where they are so this story will not be based on what they are actually
doing in the present.

Since I have depicted both Kevin and Brian as gay, I do hope you know that
this is a fantasy, and in no way true. Kevin is married, and Brian is now
married to LeighAnn Wallace. So I just want to wish them all the happiness
in the world...they deserve it.

So without further wait here is the next installment to Kevin & Dustin.

Kevin & Dustin Parts 46-49

Kevin & Dustin Part 46

Night had come and gone. We had gotten up at 3:00 in the morning and
boarded the bus for the next city. The sun had already rose in the sky of
the city we were now in, which I did not know the name of. The guys were at
the venue doing their final soundcheck while I was hanging around on the
bus, while the driver slept. Mike was hanging around the perimeter of where
the bus was located, so the fans couldn't try and sneak aboard. I had
decided to send David an e-mail to see what he thought about all of this.

Dear David,

Hey! How are you doing? I'm not doing too well. Things here have gone
downhill bad here real fast. I really want to talk to someone about this,
and right now you are the only person I can think of. I told Kevin a secret
I had been keeping from him since after I was kidnapped.

After I got back and out of the hospital, Kevin was upset that I
wasn't talking about the whole thing. At that point I didn't want to talk
about it. I didn't want to relive it. He just pushed me too far and we had
a fight and I left. He started following me down the hall of the hotel and
everything reminded me so much of what Michael did, and I lost it. I ran
into Brian and he was a friend and then gradually something started to
happen between us. Eventually we kissed, and then we kissed some more, and
he eventually professed his love for me. And I started to get real confused
about everything got real confusing. I tried to tell Brian to back off, but
every time I did, he came on stronger. I've never been in this situation
before so I don't really know what to expect.

Think you can help me? I just don't know what to do right now.

I think I would love to come out to L.A. to visit you. And right now I'm
more inclined to leave now, just to get away. I don't feel comfortable here
right now, especially with my relationship with Kevin most likely about to
go on hiatus...if that is what you would call it, assuming he doesn't end
it with me was soon as I tell him.

David, I don't think I could handle losing him. He is all I know now, I
love him, and I don't know what I would do without him in my life.

Well I need to get going. Talk to you later David, and thanks for being
there to listen.

C-ya,
Dustin

I finished typing the e-mail I was sending to David and clicked `send.'

I guess I felt that with what happened between David and myself, and David
and Kevin, he could possibly know what was going on, and hopefully help me
through it.

Not that Alex hasn't been a great help, but just to get more opinions, I
suppose.

"God, listen to me, sitting here thinking about everything." I said to
myself.

I shut down my laptop and placed it back in its case and stowed it away
next to the couch in the back lounge. I walked up the bus and passed by
Kevin's bunk. Everything was crumpled and in disarray. The blanket and
sheets were twisted up and some of his clothes were scattered at the foot
of the bunk.

"God, why did I have to be so dumb." I asked myself.

"Don't worry Kevin...I'm going to fix this...I promise." I said exiting the
bus.

I walked around the venue backstage and watched the guys practice their
routine for `Larger Than Life' during the soundcheck.

"Ok, guys that looks good. Take a break." One of the Tour directors said.

The guys all dispersed and headed off in their own direction. Brian saw me
in the wings and started to approach me.

"Hey Brian, come here." Nick yelled out.

`Damn,' he mouthed while looking at me. "Coming Frack." He yelled to
Nick. He smiled and winked at me before turning around and walking over to
Nick.

I shook for a second from his actions before I walked over to where Alex
was sitting on the stage.

"Is this seat taken?" I asked as I stood over him.

"No, have a seat." Alex said in an anguished tone.

"What's wrong?" I asked sitting down next to him.

"Brian is what's wrong." He sighed. "It took all I had today during
practice not to go over and give him a piece of my mind." He huffed.

"Don't worry, I'm going to talk to him tonight once and for all and tell
him it isn't happening again." I said.

"Good. The sooner you tell him the better." He said taking a sip of his
Evian water. "So, have you figured our what you are going to tell Kevin?"
Alex asked breaking the momentary silence.

"Just the truth about what's has been happening." I replied. "That's all I
can say right?" I asked rhetorically.

"Ya, that's all you can say." He agreed.

"Alex, thanks again for letting me stay with you in your room last night
before we got on the bus. It means a lot. Because if I had been in the room
with Kevin last night, he wouldn't have stopped until he figured out what
was wrong." I explained.

"Hey, just helping a friend in need." He replied. "But now let me tell you
something." He said getting a more commanding tone in his voice.

"I didn't do this last night, because of the situation, but it isn't last
night anymore. Don't you dare think that jumping off a building will solve
your problems. It won't. I never want you to even consider that again,
understand. If you have a problem come to me, or Kevin, or any of the guys,
your parents are there too, as are Kevin's." He spoke. "Come to someone,
but don't think that killing yourself will help. It would just create more
hurt and heartache for everyone else." He whispered quietly.

"I lost someone very close to me before, and I don't want to go through
that again, you understand me?" Alex said.

"I understand. And I'm sorry." I apologized.

"I forgive you." He replied.

"Kevin will forgive you too, he may get angry at you, but in the end things
will turn out for the better Dustin." He said. "Speak of the devil." He
said motioning to Kevin approaching us.

"Hey Kevin." Alex acknowledged.

"Hi Kev." I whispered.

"Alex." He replied greeting AJ back. "Dustin, can I speak with you for a
moment?" he requested.

"Sure." I said standing up.

Kevin took my hand in his and led me backstage to an empty dressing
room. He wrapped himself around me holding me tight against him.

"Dustin, sweetheart, please tell me what's going on?" Kevin begged.

"Kevin, please," I begged. "I need a little more time. I still have one
day, please give me that." I pleaded.

"But you were on the roof ready to jump off, and you won't tell me why. I
just want to help you, please let me do that." My sad lover requested.

"You will help me by giving me the remaining 24 hours you said I could
have." I said still clutching onto him. I was burning the feel of his body
against me, the way he felt in my hands. I was afraid that this would be
the last time I could hold him.

"All right. 24 hours. Then I want to know." He agreed.

"I'll tell you everything." I said.

A knock at the door interrupted the moment. "Ya?" Kevin yelled. Howie
stuck his head in, "Kevin, we need to finish the soundcheck." He said.

"I'll be there in a minute." Kevin said.

     "Kev, they want to..."

"I said in a minute Howie." Kevin said sternly.

Howie pulled his head out of the doorway and shut the door and
proceeded back to the stage. "I love you Dustin." Kevin said kissing me
gently. His lips brushed up against mine. I opened my mouth allowing his
tongue to enter. He pulled back after a minute and took my hand and led me
back out to the stage.

The guys finished with their soundcheck and then the guys, Jessica,
Nick Lachey, and I all went to grab some food.

Nick and Jessica ate alone, because he might have to leave tonight to
get back and start recording for their next album, so they decided to spend
some more time alone together. The guys and I all went to McDonald's for
lunch, because it was AJ's choice today, so of course he decides to go
where he knows what the menu says.

After lunch we returned and they guys got ready for the
concert. Jessica was one performing her songs, so I chatted with Nick
Lachey while the guys were getting ready.

"So how long have you known the guys?" He asked me as we sat inside
the guys' dressing room.

"Almost 2 years now." I replied. "We met back in Orlando when my
family was on vacation." I explained.

"That's cool." He replied. "Out of all of them, who do you like the
most?" He asked.

"I think all the guys have qualities that make them likable." I
said. "But, Kevin and I are close. And I'm close with Nick and AJ too. Then
it would probably Brian then Howie next." I answered.

"What makes you and Kevin so close?" he asked.

"Hey Dustin, we're back." Howie said entering the dressing room.

`Thank god! Saved by the Backstreet Boys!' I thought.

"So, what are you guys talking about?" Nick asked sitting down next to
me.

"Just getting to know each other better." Nick Lachey replied.

"That's cool. Dustin is a real cool person." Brian smiled while
patting me on the shoulder.

     "Thanks Brian." I replied uncomfortably.

"Your welcome." He said as Kevin walked in and sat down.

     "Hey Dustin." Kevin said.

     "Hey Kev." I replied.

"Are you bored stiff here?" Kevin asked.

"A little." I confessed. "Its not that I don't enjoy your shows. I've
just seen them a few too many times." I added.

"That's understandable." Kevin replied. "Now you know how we can get
sometimes when we perform them." He confessed with a small grin.

Jessica finished her songs and came backstage while the guys
performed. About midway through the concert I went and heard the guys
perform `I'll Never Break Your Heart' while Jessica and Nick headed to the
bus.

Once the song was finished, Mike walked me out to the bus so I
wouldn't have any troubles from the fans that weren't able to get
tickets. Once I got on the bus, Mike headed back inside the arena to wait
for the guys to finish.

Jessica and Nick were in the back lounge, so I pulled my laptop out at
the table and began to type in my journal. I had forgotten to bring my
actual journal with me, so I have been typing my entries to write in later.

The tour is about midway through, but I still feel useless. Kevin
hasn't said anything about the job I asked for a while back...I'm not sure
if that means he just forgot, or doesn't want me working.

Jessica and Nick are spending a lot of time together. I think he is
getting ready to leave soon.

I haven't seen much of Howie lately. I don't know what he has been
doing.

Nick and I haven't done anything together for a while, so I think I'm
going to try and arrange something for us teenagers to do.

Brian is still hovering around me...and it makes it hard and
uncomfortable, not to think about it.

Kevin has been pressuring me to tell him what is going on, but he said
I still have until tomorrow. I just hope that's enough time. I hope he
doesn't hate me afterwards. Alex says he won't, but I'm not sure.

Other than that, the day was pretty normal. I think the guys have a
break in the tour tomorrow. A day for relaxation, so I'm not sure what we
will be doing. I do know I have to tell Kevin tomorrow, and I plan on it. I
just hope he doesn't want me to do it first thing.

"Hi sweetheart," Kevin said from in front of me.

"Oh god." I jumped in my seat while quickly saving and closing my
electronic journal. "Kev, you scared me to death." I joked.

"Sorry, not my intention." He apologized while sitting down next to me.

"Is the concert already over?" I asked confused.

"Ya, Mike said he walked you back about an hour ago." Kevin said kissing me
lightly on the top of my head. "What were you doing?" he asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked silently.

"On your laptop." He said pointing at the now blank screen.

"Oh, nothing...just a little Internet surfing." I said.

"Really, I didn't know you had wireless Internet for your laptop." Kevin
said angered. "You don't have to lie, you know. You can just say it isn't
any of my business." Kevin said getting up.

"Kev, wait." I pleaded.

He ignored my pleas and headed back to his bunk. I got up and followed him
and peered in. He was lying down with his hands behind his head staring at
the ceiling. I hopped in and positioned myself next to him.

"Kev?" I questioned quietly.

"What?" he asked turning to face me with a few tears streaming down his
face.

"I'm sorry." I apologized. "I didn't mean to lie to you, I just..." I said
starting to mumble.

"Dustin, I'm worried about you." Kevin said pulling me close to him. "You
are hiding things, and something very bad obviously happened to you." He
said. "Has someone said or done something to you?" Kevin questioned.

"Kev, can we please not talk about it right now. I said I would tell you
everything tomorrow, and I will." I said also starting to tear up.

"No, you cant." Kevin said with a strong voice. "Tell me what happened." He
demanded.

I sighed and looked down to the foot of the bed. This was it...The moment
of truth. I can tell him the truth about what happened...and one of two
possibilities are possible. Either he breaks up with me and then kills
Brian for betraying him, or he decides to stay with me and just hurt
Brian. I'm thinking it's going to be the first one, despite Alex's strong
opinion on the matter.

"Kevin, I'm going to tell you tomorrow...I just can't do it right now." I
said starting to get up out of the bunk.

"No," he said grabbing my arm and pulling me close to him. "Tell me, I'm
begging you." He said. I felt his tears fall to my face. "Whatever it is,
we can fix it together." He said in a soothing voice.

"I don't think we can." I contradicted him.

"Let's just try." He requested.

"Ok, I need to go get something...will you meet me in the back lounge?" I
asked while crawling out of the bunk.

"Sure." He said following me out. "See you in a bit." He said kissing my
right cheek gently.

I relished that kiss, but brought myself back to the present and headed to
the front of the bus where I found what, or rather who I was looking for.

"Are you busy?" I asked him.

"No," he replied. "What's going on?" he questioned.

"I just wanted you to know I'm going to tell Kevin the truth." I explained.

"I thought you were going to do it tomorrow?" he questioned.

"I was but Kevin convinced me to do it tonight. And the sooner I do it the
better Alex. This is killing me keeping this secret from him." I said.

"Do you want me to be there with you?" Alex asked with concern showing
across his face.

"No, but thanks. I might need a place to stay tonight though...if it
wouldn't be too much of an inconvenience." I said.

"Not at all," he said. "You are always welcome." He added.

"Thanks." I said turning to walk to the back.

"Good luck." Alex whispered but I didn't hear it.

When I got to the back, Brian and Nick were back there watching TV while
Kevin was sitting staring out the window. "Brian, Nick, could I ask you
guys to leave for a while...Kevin and I have to talk." I asked my voice
quivering with each word.

Brian gave me a look but I ignored him and looked over to my fiancé. I
wondered if after this evening I would still be able to call him those
words. If I would still be able to claim him as the other half of my soul.

"Sure take your time." Nick spoke for both he and Brian. He stood and
pulled Brian up with him and they both walked out heading to the front.

I shut the door to the back lounge and sat down next to Kevin.

Kevin & Dustin Chapter 47

By: NM

I slowly brought my hand closer to his and locked our fingers
together. This brought his attention to me and away from the night sky.

"Kevin Scott Richardson, I just want you to know that I love you with
all of my heart." I began.

"Dustin, I love you," Kevin stated, "But stop with the cryptic...its
scaring me," He whispered.

"Kevin, I need to explain something to you. You aren't going to like
it but I need to let you know." I said.

     "Ok." He replied.

"Kevin, you do know that this is the first `real' relationship I've
ever had, right?" I questioned.

"Yes, I know that." Kevin said softly.

"Kevin, something happened that shouldn't have happened." I began. "I
didn't plan on it happening, and I certainly didn't want it to happen." I
said.

"What happened?" He asked his voice starting to shake.

"I...umm...well...I was sort of with someone else." I confessed in a
quiet voice.

I felt his hand untangle from mine swiftly. "YOU WHAT!?" he yelled
loud enough for everyone aboard the bus to hear. "DUSTIN HOW COULD YOU!?"
he continued to yell.

"Please stop yelling," I requested.

"NO!"

"What's all the yelling guys?" Nick asked opening the door.

"Dustin slept with someone else." Kevin said angered.

"What!?" I heard a voice from beyond Nick yell.

The door separating the back lounge and the rest of the bus opened
completely and all the guys poured in while Alex leaned against the door.

"Who was it Dustin?" Kevin demanded.

At first I didn't answer. I was afraid to. Kevin had never yelled at me
before, and I wasn't expecting it.

"Dammit, who the hell was it?" Kevin yelled at me again.

I mumbled something but not loud enough for anyone in the room to hear
clearly. "I can't hear you." He said. "Who did you sleep with?" He yelled
again.

"Kev, lay off of him. This is hard for him... cant you see that." Alex
stepped in on my behalf.

"It was you wasn't it AJ. You slept with Dustin. That's why you two are
always spending so much time together now." Kevin yelled infuriated.

"Dammit, it wasn't Alex." I yelled at Kevin.

"THEN WHO!?" He yelled at everyone.

I started to say his name when I heard it. "Me." The soft and quivering
voice spoke.

"YOU!?" Kevin questioned not sure whether or not to believe him. "How the
hell could you sleep with my fiancé?" Kevin asked infuriated.

"I didn't sleep with anyone else, I was just sort of with him." I said
trying to clarify a very bad situation.

"Oh, well that just makes it all better doesn't it?" Kevin retorted.

"No, but I didn't have sex with him. The only thing that happened was that
we kissed." I yelled.

"Just how long has this affair been happening?" Kevin questioned. "How long
have you two been lying to me?" Kevin asked pointing at both of us.

"Well I guess the very first time that started this was after my ordeal
with Michael. When we had that fight because I wasn't talking. And I was in
Brian's room asleep. I wasn't really asleep. We were close to kissing but
you knocked on the door." I explained the circumstances that led us here to
this most unfortunate event.

"This has been going on for that long?" Kevin said infuriated.

"It hasn't..." I began to say.

"Save it Dustin...I don't want to hear it." Kevin said storming off to the
front of the bus.

"Is that why you said our relationship wasn't working Brian?" Nick
questioned his former boyfriend.

Brian let out an uncomfortable sigh. Now I really knew why he and Nick
broke up. I could tell Brian was struggling with what he was going to say.
"Partly. But things just weren't working out anyway." Brian said.

"Well we could have tried to fix things instead of giving up." Nick said
upset before leaving and joining Kevin in the front of the bus.

I slowly sat down on the couch and placed my face in my hands. I slowly ran
my hands through my hair as I felt another body sit down next to
mine. "Brian, don't...all right." I said. "Just go away for now." I stated.

Brian didn't reply verbally, but I took his sigh and then standing from the
couch as an agreement. I still felt another presence in the room but his
didn't bother me. "Alex, I think I've lost him forever." I said.

He joined me on the couch. "No, not forever. He just needs time to cool
down and then you two can talk rationally."

"Somehow I don't think things are going to be the same for awhile." I said
dejectedly. "Maybe I should just leave now." I sighed.

"If you leave now, it won't be good later on down the road." Alex said in a
raspy voice.

"I guess so." I agreed. "Assuming there is a later on."

"There won't be with an attitude like that." Alex replied.

"Sorry."

"Why don't you just get some sleep for now. You can crash in the bunk below
me. No one uses that one." Alex informed me.

"Thanks. I think I will be needing it for the rest of my stay here." I said
standing.

"Goodnight Alex." I said walking out of the lounge.

I peered up into the front of the bus and saw Kevin having a heavy
conversation, which soon turned into a yelling match with Brian. I sat down
slowly on the bunk staring into Kevin's.

`Just a 10 minutes ago everything was perfect.' I said to myself. `No it
wasn't.' My conscious spoke. `You were keeping a secret. Something that
should never have taken place if you love him the way you claim.' My
conscious said to me.

I pulled my legs into the unused bunk and laid my head back onto the
pillow. I heard footsteps and saw Kevin sit down in his bunk staring at me.

"I'm sorry Boo." I apologized with sincerity. "I didn't mean to hurt you."
I said.

"Not now, all right." He said with tears steaming down the sides of his
face. He climbed the rest of the way into the bunk and closed the curtain
cutting off my view of him.

I closed the curtain to my bunk, which shielded the light from the hall not
allowing it to enter my bunk. I wiped the salty tears from my face and
slowly drifted off to sleep. This has definitely begun the week of hell for
me.

To Be Continued...

I hope you have enjoyed this installment of Kevin & Dustin. I know I had a
wonderful time writing it.

So, is this the end of Kevin & Dustin?

Does Kevin think AJ is involved more than he claims?

What is going to happen between Kevin and Brian?

Between Brian and Nick?

Will Brian continue to pursue Dustin now that Kevin knows what's really
going on?

I guess you will just have to wait and find out.

*****Once again, I'm extremely sorry for the very long delay in getting
this part out. I wrote it, and I didn't like it, so I re-wrote it and I
still didn't like the way things were sounding, so I wrote it again...this
is what I came up with. I hope you all like it.

I'm not going to make any promises, but I hope it doesn't take this long
once summer gets here to get each chapter out.

Then, until next time. Take care*****
