Subject: Lance's Story: Look What You've Done To Me

Hey everyone!

First, I want to thank everyone who's taken the time to write and let me
know how much they enjoy the story so far. I love getting mail and it's
good to hear how everyone feels about my writing.

Next, to clear up any confusion about the last chapter. It didn't get
listed like I wanted on the website, but if you look at the title on the
story itself it says 'Interlude.' If you read the prologue and then the
interlude, you get a continuous story in time separate but a part of the
other chapters. Aren't I clever, you get two stories in one! :) Well, not
really, but it seems that way doesn't it?

And finally, I want to give my thanks for the nomination Lance's Story
received in the story awards. It was nominated for most anticipated couple
and I'm mighty proud of that.

Ok, enough from me... now on with the story... and yes, it goes back to
where we left off.

As usual:
This story is purely fiction and is not intended to imply anything about
the true sexuality of 'N Sync or anyone associated with their organization
or the reality of their lives. It is meant for those over the age of 18
only and those who wish to read stories with sexual content.

Lance's Story

***********

Look What You've Done To Me

"Hope they never end this song
This could take us all night long
I looked at the moon and I felt blue
Then I looked again and I saw you

Eyes like fire in the night
	Bridges burning with their light
Now I want to spend the whole night through
And Honey, Yes, I'd like to spend it all on you

Love, look what you've done to me
Never thought I'd fall again so easily
Oh, love, you wouldn't lie to me
Leading me to feel this way..."

		-Boz Scaggs/David Foster - 1980

Someone was poking him in the shoulder. Lance wanted to reach out and
smack whoever it was but instead groaned and opened his eyes to see Joey
smiling at him.

"Good morning, sleepy head."

Lance shut his eyes again and snuggled back into his comfortable position.
JC's arms moved with him then tightened around his chest and stomach. The
warmth of JC behind him and his soft breath on the back of his neck was
comforting. "This had better be important or you're marked for death,"
Lance threatened.

"Why Lance, you're always such a morning person. I'm shocked," Joey joked
affectionately.

"What time is it?"

"Almost 9:00. Chris ordered breakfast, it should be here soon if you're
hungry."

Lance's stomach growled at the mention of food and he smiled, still with
his eyes shut. "Let me know when it gets here." Lance turned a little so
that he was on his back.

JC moaned and shifted with him, pressing his face into Lance's shoulder
with a sleep filled mumble. Lance reached up and ran his fingers through
JC's hair. JC sighed in his sleep and squeezed Lance tighter.

A few minutes later, Lance heard the food arrive and he stroked JC's cheek.
"Josh, baby, time to wake up."

JC blinked a few times and smiled. "I smell food."

"Yes, breakfast time," Lance smiled.

JC leaned forward and pecked Lance on the lips. "Think they'll serve it to
us right here?"

"Doubtful," Lance chuckled.

JC rubbed his nose along Lance's jaw line and smiled. "I like this."

Lance looked into the crystal blue of JC's eyes. "Me, too. What are we
gonna do today?"

"I was thinking going out on a date."

"With who?" Lance asked with a smirk.

"You, silly," JC replied, tickling Lance's side. "We've never done that.
I thought we'd go shopping then have lunch. Maybe catch a movie or
something before school lets out for the day."

"Sounds wonderful. I think we should call Justin to make sure he's ok."

"Good idea. Time to get up, I guess?"

Lance nodded and tried to move. JC held him firmly and pressed his lips
against Lance's. Lance moaned involuntarily.

"Hey! Hey! Hey! None of that before I've eaten," they heard Chris yell.
"And as much as I love you two, I really don't wanna be seeing you getting
freaky."

JC laughed but kept his face close to Lance's. "I love you."

"Love you back."

"Let's eat."

------

"How's Justin?" Joey asked around a mouthful of eggs.

JC had just sat down at the table after finishing his conversation. "He's
fine. Seems that guy... um..."

"Jamie," Lance supplied.

"Ya, Jamie. Seems he had a minor breakdown. Justin's gonna stay there
with him until we join them later on."

Chris sat silently for a minute chewing on some bacon. "I heard you go all
parental on him, Josh. Does Justin know what he's getting into?"

Lance nodded. "I think so. We have no option other than to trust him."

Chris nodded, his protective streak barely under control. Lance smiled at
the eldest member of the group, appreciating just how much he looked after
them all.

"What are you two doing today?" JC asked.

"We're meeting up with Steve and visiting some cousins. Chris is tagging
along. You guys are invited too, if you want. My Aunt Rosalie was asking
about you, Lance."

"She was?" Lance smiled, remembering the robust woman who kept putting
meatballs on his plate.

Joey nodded. "She wanted to know if you were getting out in the sun and
eating enough meat."

They all laughed.

"We're gonna go shopping, get some lunch... you know, basic couple time.
We haven't had a chance to do alot of that yet," JC said. Lance smiled at
him while drinking his juice.

"That sounds good," Chris said smiling. "Just be careful and take
security."

"You bet," JC looked at Lance with a twinkle in his eye.

------

Lance pushed the salad away with a contented sigh. He and JC had a great
morning wandering around several stores, trying on some clothes and
spending some money. They had stopped by a nearby restaurant to eat. JC
was still picking at his club sandwich.

"You haven't really eaten much of that," Lance commented.

JC smiled at Lance and shrugged. "Guess I wasn't that hungry."

"You look like there's something on your mind."

JC looked around the quiet restaurant then into Lance's eyes. "I guess but
I don't want to talk about it here."

"Is it serious? Should I be worried?" Lance grimaced a little at the
words but he couldn't help letting a little of his own insecurities peak
out.

A look of shock and concern crossed JC's face. Without thinking, he
reached across the table and put his hand on one of Lance's. "No, not that
at all. It's something on my mind, that's all." He cleared his throat.
"It's really not important right now, let's just enjoy the day, ok?"

Lance smiled. He knew JC's quiet exterior had always hidden thoughts and
feelings that ran deep. Now, he hoped, he was going to get a more personal
look at just how deep this man was. JC got a take out container for the
remains of his sandwich and they left to head back to the hotel, stopping
at more stores on the way.

Lance groaned as they got on the elevator with the weight of his bags.

"You ok?" JC asked.

"Oh, fine. My back is a little sore from carrying all this. Maybe some
nice gentleman will give me a massage and make it all better?" Lance
raised one eyebrow suggestively making JC blush and look away. "That's a
nice shade of red there, Chasez."

"Ya... well..." JC stumbled and blushed a deeper red.

Lance leaned on JC's shoulder and smiled at him. JC's blush subsided and
he smiled back. He leaned down and brushed his lips against Lance's then
pulled away when the door started opening on their floor.

Entering the suite, they put their bags down on the table. Immediately,
JC's hands were kneading Lance's shoulders. "Like this?" he asked quietly.

"Mmmm... ya," Lance groaned. JC pulled on Lance's hand and they went into
their bedroom and shut the door.

"Take your shirt off and lay down. It will be easier that way."

Lance did as JC asked and was soon naked from the waist up and face down on
the bed. He watched as JC stripped off his own shirt, leaving on his tank
top, then crawl up on the bed with him.

JC patted Lance's butt gently then sat on it. Lance groaned again as JC's
strong fingers eased his stiff muscles. "Feel good, baby?"

"Oh, ya. You are good at this."

JC giggled. "I've paid attention when we get them." He continued working
on Lance's neck and back bringing more appreciative moans. "Roll over," he
ordered.

"Um, I'm kinda embarrassed."

"What's to be embarrassed about?" JC pushed on Lance's shoulder and rolled
him over. His eyes widened slightly at the bulge in Lance's cargo pants.

Lance blushed a little. "That."

JC's smile lit up his face. "You don't ever have to be embarrassed about
being that way in front of me." He grabbed Lance's hand and put it on his
own slightly tented pants. "You do the same thing to me."

Lance grinned and lightly squeezed JC's erection. JC lay down next to
Lance and propped his head on one hand while running his hand up and down
Lance's chest and stomach. "Your skin is so soft."

"I'm glad you like it." Lance paused and bit his lower lip.

"What?"

"Josh, what was bothering you earlier?"

"You'll think it's silly."

"Never."

"Um... ok... what... no... how..." JC exhaled in exasperation.

"Josh, it's ok. You can ask or tell me anything." Lance grabbed the hand
on his chest and squeezed it firmly.

"It's very personal. Um... ok. How... how many..." JC bit his lip then
blurted out: "How experienced are you?"

Lance smiled as understanding came to him. "I think that's something you
should know. We shouldn't keep secrets like that from each other."

"It's not like I need to know details or anything..."

"Josh, it's ok. I understand. You don't ever have to worry about asking
me about things like this."

JC nodded. "So, have you been with many guys?"

"Only two."

"You've only had sex twice?" JC looked astounded.

"What? Like I'm this big sex maniac or something?" Lance giggled. "And
I've had sex three times, thank you very much."

"Oh, I didn't mean it like that. I figured you'd have all kinds of guys
after you."

Lance blushed. "Well, this last year I've only really had my eyes on one
person."

"But Joey's straight," JC joked.

"Ha ha... funny man." Lance tickled JC's side.

"Will you tell me about it?" JC asked quietly. "Start with the last
time." Lance blushed a bright red. "Looks like a good story."

"Remember when we were in Cancun?" JC nodded. "I was watching you guys
dance at that club the last night we were there when this guy bumped into
me. We went for a walk on the beach... and..." Lance's blush renewed.

Josh laughed and hugged him tightly. "It's ok. That's nothing to be
ashamed of."

"But it was so dangerous. What if I'd been found out?"

JC tilted his head then shrugged. "You weren't so it doesn't matter. What
about the guy before that?"

Lance thought for a minute. "Well, the first guy I dated... I thought it
was special but it didn't work out."

"What happened?"

"We were just starting in Europe and he was traveling alot too and we never
got to see each other. He met someone else and..." Lance shrugged his
shoulders and sighed a little.

"What a jerk. He didn't know what he had."

"No, it wasn't his fault. I don't blame him. We didn't see each other for
almost a year. It's not like we had committed to each other or anything.
He did feel really bad about it not working."

"Do you still talk to him?"

"Every so often either he or I will call." Lance caught JC's look. "He's
just a friend now, Josh. He's practically engaged to his girlfriend."

JC's eyebrows rose. "So he's bi?"

Lance nodded. "Ya."

"You said he was traveling. What does he do?"

"He's a singer, too."

JC's face went blank and like pieces of a puzzle all the facts fit in
together and gave him the picture. Lance's close conversation with Brian
when they first met the Backstreet Boys years before. The high cost of
Lance's phone bill the year they were in Europe. A few phone messages from
'Lance's friend' who's voice sounded vaguely familiar when he answered the
house phone. "You were dating Brian Littrell, weren't you?"

Lance's eyes widened. "How did you figure that out?"

JC shook his head. "Lot's of little things. It's true, huh?"

Lance nodded and looked down. "I thought I was in love," he sighed
wistfully.

JC smiled sadly at Lance. "I remember when he broke up with you. It was
about 2 years ago, huh?"

Lance nodded and sighed as JC ran his fingers through his spikes. "But
that's past history now."

"Did you know who Brian was?"

"No. We'd gone out twice before we actually found out."

"So you've done everything then?"

"Everything? Um... no, not really." Lance cleared his throat. "Brian and
I only... um... blew each other the two times we were together. That other
guy had me, um... do him... you know, I was the top."

JC chuckled and rubbed Lance's arm. "Seems like we're about even."

"Huh? I thought you've been with guys before..."

"What? Now it's my turn to be the sex pig?" They both laughed.
"Honestly, I've done things with a few guys. Most of the time they've just
given me a blow job. Once, I gave one back. Then there was this one guy
that had me... um... you know..."

"Fuck him?"

It was JC's turn to blush. "Ya."

"Anyone famous?"

"Nope, not at all. There was one kid who was an intern on the Mouse Club
that blew me almost every day back then when I had a constant hard on.
Other than that just everyday people."

"Did Justin know any of this?"

JC looked shocked and worried. "God, no! I was very careful about hiding
it, especially from him. He was so young, Lance. I was a horny teenager,
but I knew enough to keep it real down low."

Lance nodded. "When was the last time?"

JC blushed again. "Last spring near the beginning of the tour."

Lance's eyes widened. "Who was it?"

"Remember that guy who worked at the Phoenix stadium? The real tall one
that was really nice and gave us directions to restaurants?"

Lance nodded. "Ya, he was kinda cute."

"He was," JC agreed. "Well, that afternoon, while everyone assumed I was
taking a nap, we snuck away and he blew me." JC started blushing again.

"You're so cute when you blush," Lance giggled. "Weren't you scared of
getting caught."

"I guess I just wasn't thinking about it. Most of all the other times
happened before we started getting famous though."

Lance nodded deep in thought. "You don't mind that I've had a sorta
relationship before?"

"Why should I mind? It's over isn't it?" Lance nodded shyly. "Then
there's nothing to worry about, is there?"

"Nope," Lance answered with a smile.

JC leaned down and pressed his lips against Lance's. They kissed as they
held each other. After several minutes, they broke apart and smiled at
each other. "How about a nap?"

"Sounds good. Let's get naked!"

"Why, Lansten! I'm shocked."

"Um, we don't have to if you don't wanna?" Lance blushed.

JC kissed Lance again and quickly shed the rest of his clothes and shyly
got under the covers. Lance joined him a moment later. Lance's touch to
JC was tentative at first but once he felt JC's strong arms around him he
relaxed.

Lance's hand slid up and down JC's chest. The hard muscles rippled under
the smooth, slightly hairy skin. Lance watched as his fingertips ran
through the light hair on JC's chest. There had been a time when he had to
shave it at the direction of Lou to be more appealing to their younger
audience. Lance was glad he was letting it grow now.

JC's hands roamed over Lance's shoulders and back. One dipped down to his
ass and rubbed and squeezed the firm globes. Lance's breath hitched a
little and JC stopped.

"I won't touch you there if it bothers you."

"No, it feels good, don't stop," Lance whispered then bent down and licked
JC's collarbone. He moaned softly when JC rested one hand back on his ass
and lightly caressed.

Suddenly JC let out a big yawn. "Sorry."

Lance smiled. "That's ok, Sleepy."

JC chuckled at the nickname. "Who does that make you? Doc?"

Lance frowned then smiled. "No," he thought for a minute. "I guess, I'm
Snow White." JC laughed quietly. "Ok, not the best, but you're not really
Sleepy either. You're my Prince Charming."

"I can live with that." JC put his fingertips on Lance's cheek and brought
their mouths together.

"Josh, do you mind if we take this slow?"

JC smiled, the afternoon light sparkling in his eyes. "Whatever you want.
I want you to feel comfortable and I've said it before, this is more than
just sex, Lance."

Lance nodded and lay his head on JC's chest. Cuddled together, they fell
asleep.

------

"So you guys haven't even had sex yet?"

"No, Chris, and I don't see how it's any of your business." JC's eyes
flashed with anger and indignation.

"Whoa, back down there, Josh. I'm not trying to be nosey, just curious.
You know, guy talk. I figured you'd be all over each other. Your both
good looking, sexy guys."

"It's not like that." JC smiled suddenly. "YOU think we're sexy?
Something you're not telling us?"

"No.. not that, you perv! Hey, I'm a sensitive straight guy and I can
admit when I see an attractive man."

JC hugged Chris firmly. "I know. It was just funny hearing it come from
you, that's all."

"So what gives?"

JC sighed in exasperation. "There's no secrets around this bunch, is
there?"

"Not many."

"We both want it to be special, ok? We're building a relationship, that's
all. I mean, you usually don't sleep with a girl right away when you're
real serious about her, do you?"

"Hmmm... point taken. Ok, I get it." Chris smiled evilly. "When you do,
can I have the movie rights?"

"Shuddup!"

------

"So..." Joey said was they waited in line at the deli.

Lance smiled. "What?"

"How are things going with you two. You seem pretty cozy."

"It's like a dream come true," Lance sighed.

"You've liked him from the beginning, haven't you?"

Lance blushed. "Ya, I guess. I got a little sidetracked along the way,
but this is what I want."

"You sure about that?"

"What? Yes, of course. Why would you ask that?"

"Hey, cool it, ok? I'm just trying to get you thinking. The consequences
of you two not working out are everyone's concern."

"I understand. We've talked about that and promised that nothing would
break up our friendship."

Joey nodded. "Very good idea."

"Besides, I don't plan on being the one saying goodbye to this
relationship. I've waited a long time for him to love me and I'm not
letting go."

Joey smiled. "You got it real bad, Scoop."

Lance smiled back at his friend. "Bad and all over," he said as he stepped
up for his turn at the counter.

------

"I don't want to go to Boston," Lance stated suddenly. He had just
finished brushing his teach and looked over at JC who was washing his
hands.

"Why? What's wrong?" JC wiped his hands dry and went to Lance and put his
arms around him.

"I want these few days to last forever. Just us with no worries, no
obligations, no schedules." Lance turned and wrapped his arms around JC's
slim waist.

JC smiled and kissed Lance's forehead. "As much as I like that thought,
it's not realistic." He grinned again when Lance pouted. "But the good
thing is, even though we're usually so busy we don't even know what city
we're in, we'll still be together. Think of poor Chris and Dani. They
have it rough."

Lance nodded and lay his head on JC's shoulder. "You're right of course."

"Come on, let's head to bed. We've got some traveling to do tomorrow."

"I'm not tired," Lance said following JC into the bedroom.

JC smiled and pulled Lance onto the bed with him. Reaching over, JC turned
off the light and snuggled down with Lance under the covers. "I bet you
could sleep if you tried."

"I don't wanna."

"Now you're sounding like Justin."

Lance giggled and started kissing along JC's jawline. "I'm not really
tired at all," Lance murmured between kisses.

JC moaned beside him and ran his hands over Lance's shoulders. "Lance,
baby, can I touch you?"

Lance's green eyes sparkled. That JC would ask him permission only made
Lance love him more. "You can touch me anywhere you want."

JC leaned in and kissed Lance, pushing into his mouth with his tongue.
Lance gladly let him as his hands held JC's head, his fingers tangling in
JC's short hair.

Lance gasped as he felt JC's fingers slide down his chest and brush one
nipple. JC hesitated there and gently rubbed the hardening nub until Lance
was moaning into his mouth.

"Josh," Lance gasped between kisses. He attacked JC's mouth more
forcefully as the fingers moved down his stomach and over the front of his
boxer briefs. "Oh God, yes," Lance moaned as JC squeezed and massaged the
hard bulge of his erection through the cotton of the briefs.

"You're so beautiful, James." JC kissed all over Lance's face.

Lance shivered at the sensations running through his body. Reaching over,
he grasped JC through his briefs feeling the hot, dampness of JC's
throbbing member. "Joshua... I'm... oh... I'm gonna..." was all Lance got
out before he was climaxing into his briefs.

Lance's spasms as he came brought a moan out of JC. "So, so beautiful,"
was all he said before he stiffened and came also.

They held each other as they recovered, rubbing their softening members
against each other as they kissed.

"Do you really think I'm beautiful?" Lance asked as he kissed the skin
around the base of JC's throat.

"The most beautiful thing in the world."

"That's kinda strange, being called beautiful. I mean you call women that
or babies..."

"If it bothers you I won't say it," JC offered rubbing Lance's arms and
shoulders.

"No, I like it when you say it. It makes me feel special."

JC smiled as Lance cuddled up against him. "I will always try to make you
feel that way, James." He kissed the top of Lance's head. "Let's get
cleaned up a little before we fall asleep."

"Good idea."

Together, they pulled off their briefs and wiped themselves up then settled
back under the covers, naked. As JC wrapped his arms around Lance and held
him, Lance wondered at how easily they fell into the roles of protector and
protected.

This was a side of JC that Lance hadn't seen since the early days, when he
and Chris would watch over the five of them. He decided that he liked it
as he fell asleep, JC's heartbeat thumping against his cheek.

------

"Sometimes I just feel left out, that's all," Lance stated. He shifted in
his seat as he looked around the lounge. The five members of NSync sat in
different areas scattered around the room. Joey and Chris were over in one
corner playing cards while Justin sat near the door, seemingly preoccupied
with his own thoughts.

JC waited until he settled down and put his arm back around his shoulders.
"I'm sorry."

"It's not your fault, Josh. You are so special to me and I know the guys
are all my friends but I just don't have a 'best' friend. Chris and Joey
have each other and you have Justin."

JC rubbed Lance's arm. "I think you might be making more of this than you
should. Justin cares alot about you and I know you care about him. People
-can- have more than one best friend."

Lance nodded, not particularly convinced. "I know."

JC frowned and squeezed Lance tighter. "I do love you."

Lance glanced at JC and smiled. "Love you back."

They stood as the announcement for their flight to New York came over the
speakers.

"Come on, happy campers," Joey cheered as they filed to the door leading to
the gate. "Just one more fun little event then we have a month off!"

"How long are we gonna be there?" Chris asked.

"Three days," Lance answered automatically. "We have interviews tomorrow
and rehearsals on Wednesday. The tree lighting thing is Thursday around
supper time and then we're free to do as we please."

"I just want to get to New York," Justin grumbled.

Lance patted his shoulder in sympathy and Justin smiled meekly back at him
as they approached the gate.

------

"This is Kurt Loder with MTV News. NSync's JC Chasez speaks out about
their legal battles with Lou Perlman during a preliminary hearing in which
the band fights for the use of their name. In response to the reason why
they have left Transcon and their label he says: 'Lou Perlman poses as your
friend and father to your face, while stealing hard earned money right out
of your pocket.'

Mr. Perlman has filed a suit against the group stating breach of contract
and has asked for an injunction against the group for using the name:
NSync. In response, Justin Timberlake's mother, Lynn Harliss, and the
group's manager, Johnny Wright, have filed a 25 million dollar
counter-suit.

I'm sure more information will become known as the proceedings continue.
This is Kurt Loder, more news every hour here on MTV."

------

"So what do you think about all this?"

Lance and JC had grown closer and started to learn the little intimate
details that you only share with a lover. Lance was finding himself
constantly adjusting his preconceived notions about exactly who JC was.
There were certain aspects of his personality that he had either not
guessed or gotten the wrong idea. Every new kernel of information just
made Lance love JC all that much more.

In the month since the dance in Boston, they had grown increasingly worried
for Justin. It seemed he was head over heals in love with their new
friend, Jamie. Lance had voiced his concern that maybe Jamie wasn't ready
for a relationship with a superstar and nearly had his head torn off in
Justin's resulting verbal eruption.

JC had no better success. At least Justin hadn't gotten furious when JC
had brought up the subject. Instead, he had spent the night with a weeping
Justin in his arms.

JC lowered his book and took a deep breath. "I don't know, sweetie. I
really don't." JC marked his page with his bookmark and rubbed his eyes.
"Justin calls him every day but I don't think they're going anywhere."

"Not seeing each other for a month isn't helping." Lance sighed and sat on
the edge of the bed.

JC moved and started kneading his shoulders. "And the lawsuit doesn't help
anything." He sighed and shifted a little. "Do you realize we haven't had
sex the entire month either?"

Lance turned and looked at JC startled. "I... but..." he stumbled. "I'm
sorry, Josh."

JC put his hands on either side of Lance's face. "Listen, don't start
worrying about that. I shouldn't have brought it up that way. I know that
with everything that's going on neither of us has been thinking about it."

Lance nodded, tears brimming in his eyes. "I thought that I wouldn't push
it. I've wanted you so bad but I know you've been so stressed out about
the suit and then caring for Justin... I..."

JC wiped at the tears on Lance's cheeks. "Shush, James, it's ok. You're
right that I've been really preoccupied with everything going on. But you
have needs too. You don't have to wait for me to give you the ok." JC
leaned in and kissed Lance tenderly.

Lance nodded while pulling out a tissue. He blew his nose and smiled at
JC. "You are so good to me... to everyone."
