Subject: Love Interest - Chapter 28

Last time on Chapter 28 of Love Interest -

"And Justin, you know we can't tell the world about us, yet. We will some
day, when they're ready for it. But you know the media, they would ruin
our careers with that type information. " Josh explained, and Justin
nodded in agreement. "Now, why are you afraid of telling the rest of your
family? They all love you, if your parents accepted you then they will
too."

"But my grandmother is such a big part of my life, and if she doesn't
accept me." Justin mumbled, and choked back tears again. He promised
himself he wasn't going to let that happen.

"I know Just, but I think she won't mind. She raised your mother, and she
still loves you, so I'm sure your grandmother will too." Josh let the
younger man contemplate for a minute or two by himself, and smiled when
he saw a smile emerge from Justin's face. But quickly it was turned into
another look of worry, as Justin's face gained that same look.

"Josh, can we talk about your past?"

"Um, sure about what?" Josh asked, not sure what Justin meant by his
passed.

" Your, uh, sexual past." Justin responded, not really seeming thrilled
to answer the question.

"Oh, okay, what did you want to know about it?" Josh asked, still trying
to avoid the subject with as many of his own questions as he could.

"Well, how many guys have you been with?" The question threw Josh off
guard a little bit, but he stopped to think about it.

"I guess I don't know how many. I hate to see it, but their have been
countless guys that didn't even tell me their names. And you knew about
Jim, besides him their were only three or four other boyfriends." Josh
replied, but put his fingers up to make a quotation symbol when he said
boyfriends.

"Did ya, ya know have sex with all of?" Justin asked, and caught Josh off
guard again.

"Yes." Josh answered bluntly, he knew Justin had probably expected the
answer to be yes, so why should he even drag it out.

"Oh. Did you ever love any of them?" This question came out of no where.
Josh had expected the questions about sex and the amount of boyfriends
even though he was startled by them. But he didn't even begin to
anticipate that question.

"No, not one of them. I've always loved you Justin." Josh replied,
speaking honestly.

"Then why'd you have sex with them?" Justin asked with a slight harsh
tone of voice. Josh flinched at the noise, he didn't want to upset Justin
by telling him all this.

"I couldn't have you Justin. I knew I would never love any one else, and
I promised myself I wouldn't settle down and marry anyone but you. But I
still had needs, and I needed to satisfy them." Josh tried to explain as

"I know, I'm sorry." Justin apologized, upset with himself for acting
harshly.

"You shouldn't be sorry. I'm the one who slept around before you. I

with you is special." Josh's words cut through Justin, he wanted to cry
he was so happy to hear Josh say all of that.  "I love you Justin. You
are the only thing in my life that I would miss if I lost. I know this is
early, and I know you are young, but I need you in my life forever. So,
what I'm asking is if you'll be my husband?"

Justin looked on stunned. Tears gushed from his eyes, and Josh was
hugging him. He hadn't said yes, but he hadn't said no. He wasn't going
to say no, he just couldn't say yes. He was so happy, so thrilled that

little stunned at what he was saying. "I'm marrying you, I love you

"Alright Just, if you want to marry me you better let go or I'm gonna

"Will you get my mom babe? I wanna tell her, but I'm really tired."
Justin asked with a whiny voice, giving Josh a sweet smile.

"Yep." Josh bounced out of the room, excitement filled his heart. At the
top of the steps he hollered for Lynn. She came running to the stairs
looking up at a very happy Josh.

"What?" She asked confused.

"Come upstairs quick." As soon as he said he took off running for the
room. Still confused Lynn ran up the stairs as fast as she could. Walking
into the bedroom she saw nothing special, nothing out of the ordinary.
Had she payed attention she would have noticed a nice gold ring on
Justin's index finger, and an open box on the nightstand. But she didn't
even notice, and waited to be explained to.

"And you wanted what?" She asked sarcastically, even though she knew

"When, how?" Lynn began to ask in a mumbled state looking at Josh for

life, and it was so thoughtful. He just isn't saying so cuz he's
embarrassed to admit it. But I wouldn't be, I'm happy he said it." Justin
smiled and told his mother more then Josh wanted him to.

"I'm so happy for you two. You need to tell everyone, I'll call your
grandparents, they'll be so happy." Lynn smiled, and spoke in a rush
again.

"Grandma and grandpa know about me and Josh?" Justin asked a little
stunned.

"Of course, what did you think I wasn't going to tell the family about my
son's true love?" Lynn asked a little confused by the question.

"I don't know, just didn't think they knew. " Justin responded, and Josh
gave him a smile. Justin knew Josh was right now.

"Well, I'm gonna go call them. Why don't you call some people to Josh?"
Lynn suggested and took off down the hall towards the living room. Josh
picked up his cell phone and dialed a familiar number. He grabbed
Justin's hand and smiled.

"Hello?" A young woman replied into the phone, and Josh smiled. He had
dialed the cell phone number of one Christina Aguilera, figuring he would
work his way down in the alphabet.

"Hey Chrissy." Josh replied cheerfully.

"Hey, what's up with you and Just?" She asked, making conversation.

"Great, that's why I called. We're getting maried." Josh thought about

the information. After a minute or two he heard a laughter in the
background.

"Congratulations dude." Was the first response he heard, before more
laughing.

"Well, I really gotta go. I have got to call Britt, and then Lance and
them." Josh replied, and Joey continued to laugh.

"Cool, see ya." Joey got out in between chuckles, and hung up the phone.

"I have to call two more people now baby. Brittney first, then Chris and
Lance at Chris's. But I don't think we should tell them until tonight,
when they come over to work out things with us." Josh requested, and
picked up his phone. He started to dial a number, but before he could
finish, he watched a finger push the off button.

"Right now, all I want is for you to hold me." Justin requested, and Josh
didn't even hesitate to give it. He allowed Justin to relax into his
body, and he stroked his hand across Justin's stomach, knowing that it
got to him. Soon Justin's chest was going up and down in a patter
significant to his sleep.

The next chapter will see the return of Chris and Lance to work things
out with Josh and Justin. But before that Josh will talk to Brittney and
tell her about the engagement, I'm not going to forget about her finding
out.

it get's posted. So I need to know what you want to see in that chapter.
I will take all ideas for it, and I'll be taking them up until the 4th. I
think the final chapter will be posted the 5th, so it should be done
