Maverick III

After I recovered from my initial shock, I wordlessly made my way over to
his side of the booth and held him, I could feel the tears in my eyes as
well... but for some reason, I just wouldn't let them drop. He buried his
head in my shoulder, it seemed like an eternity, but it was no more than
four or five minutes. I continued to hold him against me lightly rubbing
his lower back for several minutes before he pulled away. He immediately
looked into my eyes, his were full of questions; I couldn't tell you what he
found in mine because my brain had lost all control of my senses. My hand
moved up and lightly brushed the side of his cheek and made its way around
to deftly cradle the back of his head. I leaned in towards him and his soft
lips met my mine. It was the most sensual, passionate experience of my
life. I savored every moment of his touch, his taste, his soul, and for
those few moments I felt more alive than I have in my entire life.

How long the kiss lasted was anyone's guess, for me it was a piece of
heaven. Eventually we broke apart. I opened my eyes to see his still
closed. When they fluttered open I sensed that the passion that had
overcome him was gradually fading into concern. The realization of what
just happened between us began to register for both of us.

His face turned from contentment to worry. "Randy...I...uh...I...I've got
to go," was all he said as he left the booth and hurriedly left the café.
My mouth opened to say something, to call him back, anything- but I was
unable to make a sound. I sat there shocked, wondering how that had
happened. After a couple minutes I recovered enough to know that I needed
to go after him. I ran from the booth out the front door almost smashing
into a drunken couple as I exited the café.

Once out in the street I scanned the street for any sign of him, but I was
too late. Not knowing where he was staying, or any other way of contacting
him I had no choice but to go home and sleep. I cursed loudly to the New
York City night and hailed a cab.

His mouth lightly flicked over the slit on the tip of the bulb, as he
playfully twisted the younger man's right nipple. The younger man moaned
loudly; his mouth then engulfed the entire shaft and he twisted the now
sensitive nipple, and twisted it again- harder. The blond-haired guy let
out a high-piercing shriek, followed by a low moan, as he bucked his hips
with the rhythm of the mouth sucking his manhood.

His left hand gripped and pulled at the taught flesh of the bucking blonde's
left ass-cheek, as his right continued to work on the nipple. As the
blondes bucking became faster and wilder he moved his left hand between the
blonde's smooth, tight buttocks and slipped his middle finger inside of him
and began pumping it in and out of him. The blonde shrieked in ecstasy as
he climaxed and shot five spurts of his juice down his lover's throat.
Wordlessly the older man rose from his knees, guiding his taller companion
to the bed. The blonde laid himself down on his back, still panting, as he
drew his legs up and spread them apart. The older man enjoyed the view of
his fully exposed, smooth lover before he moved over to him placing the
younger man's legs on his shoulders.

Looking into the blonde's eyes he slowly and deliberately entered him, and
began pumping his throbbing cock in and out of his partner, as the blonde
writhed and squirmed in pleasure, pain, desire, and satisfaction. He
increased his rhythm until he was slamming into the younger man, his balls
bouncing off the smoothness of his partner's ass. "OH GOD YESSSSSS! GIVE IT
TO ME HARDER...HARDER...YEAH FUCK ME...FUCK MY ASS...HARDER!" The older man
did exactly what was asked of him, it seemed like the entire hotel was
shifting back and forth as the headboard beat itself against the wall,
almost as hard as his groin beat against the younger man's ass.

They came simultaneously. The older man groaned deeply as he fired his
semen into the depths of his lover's ass. The younger man wildly squirmed
in uncontrollable pleasure as he climaxed for the second time that night
while screaming out "AAALEEEXXXAAAAAAAAANNNNDDERRRR!"

I woke up to the smell of bacon frying and coffee brewing. I was good to
have a roomie that can cook! Even if it's just a simple bacon and egg
breakfast. After showering I met Tom at the table in time for a 1:30
brunch.

"So Tommy boy did you have enough to drink last night?" I smiled devilishly
at him.

"Yeah...I guess I had a bit too much eh?" He grinned sheepishly at me.

"You could say that," I teased, "do you remember the brawl you almost got
yourself into?"

"Umm...nope can't say I do." Another sheepish grin, then he broke into a
wide smile. "But I know that you were there to protect me, so I have no
worries!"

What a guy. "One of these days I think I'll just let ya get throttled by
some angry boyfriend, then maybe you'll learn to drink less heavily- you
have your pretty looks to worry about ya know." I joked with him.

"Whatever, you're just jealous of my sexy bod and irresistible charm!"

"You think so eh Hercules? Well I got digits last night, what did you come
home with?"

"Huh...well I...I...shuddup!"

"That's what I figured," I said smiling at him. He looked down at his food
and began to hungrily eat his breakfast. I just sat there with a stupid
grin on my face reveling in my personal glory of beating Tommy-boy at his
own game, as my thoughts turned to JC.

I longed to see him again, to kiss him again, to feel his touch. I wondered
if I'd ever see him again...and how he'd react when I did. Reality came
back into focus as I felt Thomas staring at me.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer."

"Hey are you alright?"

"Yeah I'm fine. Why do you ask?"

"Two reasons. First you haven't touched your food, and I'm already finished
mine- the way you eat I never have a chance to finish before you." He
smiled at me; I glared at him. He continued, "Second, you staring off into
space with a big frown on your face. Did something happen last night?"

Silence. I got up from the table and walked out onto the balcony- Tom
followed me out. I lit up a smoke and sat down. Tom took the chair across
from me. "I met someone last night."

Tom opened his mouth to say something, but the buzzer interrupted him. "Are
you expecting anyone, Randy? 'Cause I don't know anyone in this city."

"Nn-" I started, but then remembering Nick's offer to come by and help us
get settled in, a smile spread over my face. "Yeah actually, do you
remember how you got home last night?" I said as I butted my cig and walked
inside to buzz the person up.

"No," came the reply.

"Well I ran into...scratch that, a guy from the Backstreet Boys ran into me-
literally last night. Anyway we got to talking and he offered to come over
and help us unpack today. Come on up," I said into the intercom.

"What?!? A guy from the Backstreet Boys is coming over here to help us
unpack? You have no idea how strange that sounds, Randy."

I chuckled to myself. "Yeah it's a little off the wall eh? Oh well we live
in New York City now, better get used to the abnormal."

The doorbell chimed. I walked over to answer it, with Tom in tow.

"Hey Randy!"

"Hiya Nick," I said as I motioned for him and his companion to come in.

"Randy this is Brian Littrell, another of the guys from our group. Brian
meet Randall Maverson."

"Call me Randy please Brian," I said as I shook his hand. I introduced them
to Tom and we exchanged some small talk over coffee and then got to work
with the unpacking and distribution of all the furniture that was stacked in
the living room area.

"Hey Josh let's take a break, we've been at this for over three hours
straight now, and things aren't coming together."

"Yeah sure Kev, we probably could use a break. Fuck this is so
frustrating...I'm sorry I'm not able to focus on this today Kevin. You
probably could've gotten a lot more done today just by yourself."

"Hey it's cool, no worries."

"Yeah no worries...it's just that it's not like we have a lot of
opportunities to take a day to work on these songs, and we should make the
best of them. I can't help feeling like I'm letting you down Kev."

"Josh, I said it's all right, don't worry about it ok? I know you wouldn't
intentionally let me down, you've always been there for me when I've needed
ya." Kevin smiled at him.

"And you've been there for me too, Kevy." JC returned the smile.
"So are you going to tell me what's up?"

"The sun, the sky, and other planets?" JC badly joked.

"Very funny," Kevin sarcastically returned. "Seriously though bro you know
I'm here for ya, what's eating you?"

"Yeah I know, thanks Kevy." JC smiled at him. "I don't know Kev...I mean I
do know, I just don't know what to do about it, y'know?"

"Woah," Kevin chuckled, "you gotta slow down Josh. What is it that you
know, but don't know what to do about it?"

JC breathed hard. "I think I'm falling for someone. We kissed last night,
and it felt so good, so perfect, so...so...right. And then I ran away from
him. I really want to see him again Kev...but I'm scared that he may be mad
at me for running away...but even more than that- I'm afraid he that he
won't return my feelings."

"WOW! This happened last night?!? Where was I...oh wait, it's Randy that
you have these feelings for isn't it?"

A goofy smile flooded over JC's face. "Yeah," he admitted dreamily. Then
his demeanor suddenly changed. "Jesus Kevin! I can't be feeling this
way...I mean I'm not ready for this!- am I? God, I don't know what to
think. I mean, Christ no one even knows I'm gay besides you, Justin, and
Nick! What am I gonna do Kev?" JC marched back and forth across the room
with his hands flailing wildly as he spoke.

Kevin smiled reassuringly at his friend. "Well first ya gotta calm down
bud."

"You see! That's just it Kev, I can't calm down! My heart is racing, I
can't think about anything else, I can't focus on anything...I just can't
get him out of my mind!"

Kevin, motioned for JC to follow him into the kitchen area of his suite, and
began to make some coffee. "Sit down at the table there and tell me what
happened between the two of you last night."

JC told Kevin of the events of last night, then he told him of his feelings
for Randy, and his concerns about what all of this meant for him.

"Thanks for being here for me Kev, but all of this is ridiculous anyway, I
mean Randy probably doesn't have any of the same feelings for me as I do for
him."

"That may be true, but you're way off if you think that I'm gonna let you
ignore your feelings for him, the way I see it there's only one thing for
you to do- you and Randy are going on a date!" Kevin smiled, quite pleased
with the idea of JC finally going on a 'real' date with someone. JC,
however, paled at Kevin's words. He knew by the tone of his voice that
Kevin had made up his mind and nothing he said would change it.

"But-"

"No buts," Kevin grinned at him, "I'm supposed to head over to Randy's place
later this afternoon to meet up with Nick and Brian."

JC's expression soured at the mention of the name of Kevin's cousin. Kevin
continued on, ignoring JC, as there was nothing more that could be said on
that subject.

"So leave everything in my hands, I'll call you tonight with the details."

"Kev-," JC started.

"C'mon Josh, you and I both know that you need to see Randy again, you have
to find out if there are any possibilities there for you..." JC sighed,
"...then we'll worry about whether or not any of this is going to change
your life- and if you're ready for it."

"Are you sure this is the right thing to do Kev?" JC questioned.

"Trust me, if I wasn't then I wouldn't be telling you to do this." Kevin
assured him.

JC gave in and smiled, "Thanks Kev, I don't know what I'd do without you!"

Kevin chuckled, as he got up and collected their cups and placed them in the
sink, "Just wait until after your 'date' before you thank me. You might not
want to then," he reasoned.

"No, I mean it Kev," JC replied, standing up and looking at his friend, "I'm
glad you're in my life."

Kevin smiled happily, as he wrapped up JC in a tight hug "I'm happy you're
in my life too, Josh." JC returned the pressure of Kevin's embrace. After
a few seconds they broke apart, "C'mon Joshy break time's over, we only have
a couple hours left before I have be at Randy's."

JC smiled as he followed Kevin back into the study area of the suite.

Joey and Chris nonchalantly sat in a darkened corner of one of the many
restaurants located in the JFK International Airport trying to look as
inconspicuous as possible in their disguises. They were watching the now
two-time defending champion Lakers being crushed by the up-and-coming
Orlando Magic team.

They were waiting for the impending arrival of Lance and Justin who had
remained behind in LA to promote their new album. Joey in particular was
not looking forward to their arrival and to the next few weeks in general.
He knew that these contract negotiations were going to be a stressful time
because of the animosity between *NSYNC and Backstreet, or more specifically
between *NSYNC and Brian and Howie.

Joey, despite knowing Howie and Brian did not respect *NSYNC, tried his best
to keep the peace between the two groups, and for the most part controlled
his temper. Howie and Lance openly hated each other, out of the public eye
of course- and there was definitely no love lost between Brian and Chris
either.

Lance and Justin entered the restaurant wearing sunglasses and were motioned
by Chris to come and join them. Joey saw that Lance was on his cell, and
from the scowl on Lance's face he could tell he was already bitter about
something. Joey sighed to himself as he downed what was left in his glass
and grabbed the pitcher and poured himself another drink. He was now on his
fifth glass in the twenty minutes they had been there and his worries about
the next few weeks were starting to fade away.

Chris and Joey exchanged greetings with Justin as Chris filled him on what
the plans were for the rest of the weekend, and Joey concentrated on his
beer. Justin and Chris were still chatting when Lance finally ended the
conversation, and the scowl had turned into a frown.

"Just tell me we are NOT staying on the same floor as THEM." Lance demanded
in the direction of Chris and Joey.

"WAAZZZUUUUUP LANSTEN!" Joey exclaimed, getting up from his seat and giving
his surprised friend a noogie, while ignoring his question.
"JOEY...Alright Joe, I give...I GIVE!" Lance laughed as he got the message.

"To answer your question Lance, no...they're staying on the floor above us."
Chris stated flatly, equally pissed at management for booking them in the
same hotel as the BSB. Joey glared over at Chris, silently communicating
that he was not in the mood for a bitch session and that a change of subject
was in order.

"Alright let's jet outta here and go do sumpin," Justin suggested.

"Yeah I've seen enough of airports for one day," Lance agreed.

"Wanna check out a flick?" Chris asked.

"Yeah!" The other three said in unison.

They all got up and started heading out of the restaurant, Justin smiled
over at Joey and asked "So Joe, what are we doin' tonight?" knowing full
well what the answer would be.

"CLUBBIN'!" Joey shouted happily as they all broke out into laughter and
headed out of JFK.
