Subject: More than Friends!

This story involves members of the bands Backstreet Boys and N'SYNC.  This
implies,in no way, anything about the sexuality of any of their members.
This is a purely fictional story. With that said, Enjoy!

It was 7:24 and N"sync was having a big party to celebrate the release of
their new record, "No Strings Attached". They invited all of their friends,
press and many others. Among the attendies were Britany Spears, Christina
Aquilara, Backstreet Boys, LFO, 98 degrees, Elton John and Savage Garden.At
the party Justin Timberlake was having a great time until he noticed that
Nick Carter was sitting alone by the bar. He walked over to him.
"What's up guy?" he asked
Justin and Nick always got along whenever they were together, if they
weren't in competing groups they would probably have been best friends. Nick
looked up at him, then turned, and looked back down at the bar.
"Aww what's wrong? It's a party, cheer up."
"Nothing's wrong" Nick replied bitterly "I just don't want to be  here."
With that Nick stood up and left. Justin watched as he walked away.
"Don't worry about him, he'll be alright." a voice said from behind  him.
Justin turned around to see Brian sitting down at the bar. He walked over
toBrian and sat next to him.
"Is he always like that? So depressed?" Justin asked
"No, just recently. He won't even tell me what the problem is."
Justin and Brian looked over to Nick sitting alone on the couch.
"But like I said" Brian added "Don't worry about him, he'll get over   it
soon enough."
"Yeah I guess your right, but it's not really my problem." Justin  said with
aslight smile
"So....you wanna go somewhere?"
Justin's eyes widen and his mouth dropped open.
"B...b...but aren't you, like, engaged?" he asked
Brian leaned into Justin and whispered "It's like Micheal and Lisa-Marie."
Justin leaned away from Brian and said "I'm sorry, I don't think so."
Brian simply shrugged, and smiled. "Whatever!"
There was a long pause between the two, Justin looked around the room and
noticed J.C. was mimicing for him to "come here".
"Ummm....i think J.C. wants to talked to me. Talk to you later man."
"Sure." Brian said
Justin stood up and walked over to J.C.
"hey man, we're gonna leave in about an hour, so be ready." J.C. said
"Well, I was just about to head out"
"Good, just be careful" J.C. said parentally.
Justin then walked over to Britany to say goodbye and give her a hug and
left the party.
'J.C. acts so much like my mom' Justin thouht as he walk into the elevator.
'And what was up with Nick, maybe it was Brian. I can't believe he hit  on
me'
Justin continued to think about the incident as he got off the elevator and
walked outside. Once he was outside, he noticed the bell-boy was hailing a
cab for Nick. He walked over to Nick.
"Wanna share a cab." he asked Nick
Nick looked up at Justin and said "no thanks." He was obviously annoyed with
Justin's presence.
"Come on, we're in the same hotel, and it'll give you a break on the
cab-fair."Justin said smiling.
The cab arrived and the bell-boy opened the door. Justin sat in and said
"Wellif your not coming, then you'll just have to wait on another cab."
Nick sighed heavily then sat in.
"I don't want to talk about it" Nick said immediatly
"Talk about what?" Justin said innocently
"Why your crazy and why you think i'm depressed."
"I didn't say a thing"
"But you were thinking it."
"And what if i was. Your mopeing around, ruining our party. I have a  right
to be concerned."
"Just but-out, It doesn't concern you."
"Sure, What ever you want Nicky."Justin said as he tapped Nick's shoulder.
The two sat in silence for the remainder of the ride. When they arrived at
the hotel, they paid the cab fair, and walked into the hotel. They got on an
elevator and proceeded to go to their floors. Nick was the first to get off.
"God, that was kinda rude. If he wanted to be left alone, i should have left
him alone. I should go apologize." Justin thought as the elevator went up to
his floor. The elevator doors opened on his floor, but he quickly pressed
the number for Nick's floor, and then pressed the button for the doors to
close. Justin got off the elevator, when i got to Nick's floor, and ran out
of the elevator into the hall. As he ran down the hall he noticed that Nick
had just closed the door to his room. When Justin got to Nick's room, he
knocked on the door. Nick opened the door, his face was red. it was obvious
he'd started crying.
"Justin, go away . I don't want to talk now." Nick said
"Nick. What's wrong. You can tell me."
"Go away . I don't want to talk" he said louder, his tears flowing freely.
Nick then fell to his knees, and put his face in his hands as he cried.
Justin picked Nick, and wrapped his arms around him. He then walked Nick
into the room, shutting the door behind him. He walked with Nick over to
Nick's bed. The two sat down, Nick wrapped his arms around Justin's neck and
cried on his shoulder. Justin just rubbed Nick's back and kept whispering
"Everythings going
to be okay."  After about five minutes, Justin noticed that Nick had fallen
asleep. Justin laid Nick onto the bed, then picked up his feet, and put them
on the bed. He began to untie Nick's shoes and take them off. Once Nick's
shoes were off, Justin stood up and began to walk to the door. He turned off
the lights and open the door to leave.
"Don't go." he heard
He turned and saw Nick looking up at him.
"Please stay, I don't want to be alone tonight." Nick said
Justin smiled and closed the door. He took off his shoes and walked over to
the bed. He laid down next to Nick, and pulled Nick close to him.
"Man your lucky I'm your friend." he said with a slight giggle.
Justin closed his eyes and drifted off into sleep.
The Next morning Justin woke up and noticed that Nick was still asleep. He
didn't want to wake nick up, so he carfully tried to slide from under Nick
and fell off the bed. He looked up quickly to see if he had awaken Nick,
luckly he didn't. Justin sighed, then picked up the phone and dialed the
number to J.C.'s room
"Hello" J.C. said groggily
"J.C. this is Justin."
"Where have you been all night."
"I'm down here in Nick's room"
"Oh, i thought you had finally got some, and gotten rid of your   virginity.
Or DID you get some last night."
"Very funny J.C., no I didn't get any last night, nor was i looking to  get
any either."
"Whatever floats your boat." J.C. said
"Well I was just calling to let you know where I am. Do we have anything
planned to day."
"No, we have the day off."
"Okay Good, well i have to go now."
"Now you two don't have too much fun down there." J.C. said with a laugh
"Shut up J.C." Justin said as he hung up the phone.
"Justin" Nick said
Justin turned around to see Nick waking up.
"Did I wake you up?" justin asked
"Yeah but don't worry about it." Nick then let out a big yawn.
"Umm..I wanted to thank you for staying with me last night." Nick continued
"That's alright, but Nick what's bothering with you? You seem so depressed."
"I can't tell you, y..you wouldn't understand."
"I thought we were buds, you can tell me."
Nick looked into Justin's eyes.
"Well, Justin...It's just that...I....I don't wanna tell you this...i  don't
want to lose your friendship."
"What's so bad that you think I wouldn't be your friend because of  it?"
"Justin....I....I'm gay."
There was along, tense pause between the two. Finally Justin smiled and said
"So! That's not so bad."
"Well I tought you might react like the other guys did."
"What did they do?"
"I came out to them a couple weeks ago. Brian and A.J. were cool  with  it,
but Howie and Kevin hate me now. They won't talk to me. In fact   when I
came out, Kevin pushed me up against the wall and said 'what   the hell are
you thinking, do you have any idea what this will do to  our image. If this
gets out our careers will be ruined.' That's the   reason we told the press
about his and Brian's engagments."
"Brian's gay, isn't he."
"No, he's bi, but he's also Kevin's cousin. They tolerate him. Kevin  keeps
giving me shit about about being gay, and everytime we go  anywhere he makes
sure he tells me not to go screwing around with  other 'fags'. He used to be
like my second dad, but now he hates me." Nick said, tears coming down his
cheeks. "Now Brian and A.J don't even  talk to me anymore, Brian was my best
friend, now he has his fiance-"
"But he said that was fake." Justin said cutting Nick off.
"It's not fake, but when Brian's on tour he uses that line to get anybody
and everybody to fuck him." Nick said spitefully
Justin was a little hurt by Nick's comment, but thankfull he hadn't done
anything with Brian.
"Don't worry Nick they'll all come around. And If they don't, you can quit."
"No I can't. That was the first thing I tried. Kevin gave me a black-eye,
and
Howie said he'd do a lot worse to me if i was the reason he lost his job."
"They seem like such good people too."
"Well they are.....if your not a fag." Nick said
"You know I will always be your friend Nick, right?"
"Thank you Justin."
Justin pulled Nick into a tight hug. The two then seperated and looked into
each other's eyes.
"Justin" Nick said "Are you gay"
"What the........why does everybody think i'm gay?" Justin said defensivly
"No, it's not that, I was just asking."
"Oh."
"So are you?"
"Honestly, I don't know. I've never had a girlfirend or a boyfriend. I've
only been on one date, and that was with 'Fanatic'. I could be."
"Are you attracted to guys?"
Justin thought for a second.
"Well" Justin said with a smile "J.C.'s kinda cute." then he laughed.
Nick giggled, then looked at Justin.
"I like you Justin."
Justin looked down. "Nick, we're...we're just friends remember?"
"I want to be more than friends." Nick said lifting Justin's head.
"I don't know. I'm still not totally sure if i'm gay, or even bi."
"Well you can find out with me."
"But if i'm not, I would hurt you, and I don't want to do that."
"But if you are, we could be together."
Nick grabbed Justin's hands "Justin I really like you, this could be our
chance to find happiness."
Nick then leaned into Justin and kissed him on the lips. The two pulled
apart and sat there, silent.
"Nick, I still don't know."
"Just give me a chance."
Justin looked down and simply nodded. Nick smiled and pulled Justin into a
hug.The two then laid back on the bed and held each other. Justin began to
giggle.
"What's so funny." Nick asked
"Well, it's just that that was my first kisses, who knew it be from a  guy."
"What's so funny about that?"
"Well, I was just thinking, it was from 'Nick Carter' of the   'Backstreet
Boys'. Every ten year old girl in the world wants to be  me right now."
"Nick laughed and said "and every twelve year old girl wants to be ME  now."
The two laughed as they held each other and then drifted off to sleep.
