Subject: Nick Lachey: My Everything-31

Hey Everyone! You didn't expect to see me back at the
writing thing did you? lol.

Well let's just say that even though it will take a
little longer than I thought, I've decided to try and
write at least one chapter on every day that I have
off of work. It has been hectic lately, but with the
break I took from writing, it gave me a chance to
think about how I want the story to continue. So here
goes.

Oh, and I'm going to try to write it with different
scenes in each chapter so we can all see what's going
on with the other characters, rather then from Sean's
point of view.

First of all, let me just say that this is my first
time writing any kind of fiction like this.

DISCLAIMER: This is a work of total fiction and is not
meant to imply anything about the sexualities of Nick
and Drew Lachey or anyone else mentioned in this
story.

If you are too young to read this, or if Homosexuality
offends you, then please don't continue any further
and leave.

Other 98 Degrees stories I'd like to recommend are.

"Give Me Just One Night" by Unanoche.
"69 with Jeff Timmons" by Zachary Scott Pritt
"Nick Lachey" by Ken.
"98 Degrees Is Hot" by Gay Night
"The Reunion" by RinSong.
and finally:
"This Gift" by Sprout.

Now, I"ll let you get on with the story.

Enjoy.

Previously on "My Everything"......

"Man, I'm ready to hit the sack." I yawned.

Nick had other ideas though.

"Me too." He said. "But I'm ready to make love to my
incredibly handsome husband."

"Oh, now that's a good idea." I said. "I'll be able to
stay awake a while longer for this. Besides, I can't
think of any better way to fall asleep."

Me neither." Nick said, as we stripped out of our
clothes, which we had changed into before the
reception.

If we all had gone to the airport in our wedding
attire, we'd have most likely let the cat out of the
bag.

Nick and I climbed into bed and pulled the covers over
us to keep warm, as we started kissing.

"I love you, Nick Lachey." I whispered.

"I love you too, Sean Lachey." He whispered back.
"Make love to me. Now. Tonight."

"With Pleasure, baby." I said, then rolled over so
that I was on top of him now.

We made love til 3 a.m. and We both fell asleep, me
dreaming of my lover.

 My Husband.

My Everything.

**************
* CHAPTER 31 *
**************

Nick and I, along with Drew, Jeff, Justin, and Kandi,
were sitting around the breakfast table, and We were
all eating breakfast.

Well, almost all of us.

I looked over at Jeff and noticed that he wasn't
eating. He was just picking at his food and wasn't
even talking. He had a far away look in his eyes,
which was really starting to worry me.

"Jeff?" I asked him, trying to get his attention. He
didn't respond. Since I was sitting near him, I
reached over and gently patted his arm.

"Jeff?" I asked again.

At my touch and my voice, Jeff finally snapped out of
it. "What is it, Sean?" He asked, sadly.

The tone in his voice was enough to break my heart. I
looked at him, sympathetically.

"Are you alright?" I asked. "You've hardly even
touched your breakfast."

"I'm not hungry." He said, quietly. "I think I'm going
to go back upstairs and rest a little more."

After saying that, He got up and left the kitchen,
heading upstairs before any of us could object.

After he was gone, I looked all around and noticed
that everyone all had worried expressions on their
faces. And I didn't blame them.

"Poor guy. He's really taking Danny's leaving really
hard." Justin said, holding Kandi close.

"We all are, Justin." I said to him. "Jeff's probably
feeling the same way I am right now. Like we both just
lost our best friend. In a way, we did."

"But you haven't lost him, baby." Nick said, pulling
me close. "You and Danny have a bond that can never be
broken, no matter where the two of you are."

I know that, Muscles." I said to him. "But it still
doesn't feel the same here without him."

"I know it doesn't." Drew said. "But he's just a phone
call away, we all know that."

"Yeah, I guess you're right." I said, sighing heavily.

I then started to get up from my seat. As I did, Nick
grabbed my hand.

"Where are you going, Sean?" Nick asked me, lovingly.
I looked at him and gave him a loving smile.

I'm going to go and check on Jeff and make sure he's
alright." I said to him, leaning down and giving him a
kiss.

"Alright. But don't push Jeff into talking if he
doesn't want to." Nick warned. "Jeff doesn't always
like being pressured."

"Don't worry, baby, I'll be careful." I said,
caressing his face one last time before I started
walking down the hall towards Jeff's room.

"Good Luck!" I heard Drew say as I was walking.

"Thanks, Drew." I said, still walking.

I got to Jeff's room and knocked.

"Go away" I heard him say. Then I heard sobbing. That
did it for me.

I opened the door and saw Jeff, all curled up in a
fetal position on his bed, crying.

"Jeff, it's Sean." I said. "Please talk to me. I'm
worried about you. We all are."

Jeff looked up at me, his face streaked with tears and
then nodded.

"Close the door." He said, as he sat up, wiping at his
eyes.

I turned and closed the door to his room and walked
over to sit beside him, on the bed.

"Ok, Jeff, What's going on?" I asked him.

Jeff looked at me through sad eyes and then sighed
heavily, which he always did when something big was on
his mind.

"Do you want the truth, Sean?" He asked me. I nodded.

"Of course. I wouldn't expect anything less from you,
Jeff." I told him. Jeff then looked me in the eyes.

"But if I tell you, you have to promise me that you
won't tell anyone! Please?" Jeff insisted to me.

The look of panic on his face really had me concerned
now.

"Alright, Jeff, I promise. I won't tell anyone." I
said to him.

"Not even your husband?" He asked. I frowned.

I didn't like having to keep any secrets from Nick. I
always saw secrets as the road to disaster. But if
Jeff wanted me, not to tell anyone, I was just going
to have to keep my promise.

I sighed in frustration.

"Alright, Jeff, I won't even tell my own husband." I
said, reluctantly. "Now, please tell me what's going
on?"

Jeff took a deep breath and then looked at me.

"I'm bisexual, Sean." Jeff said. "And I'm also in love
with Danny."

I looked at Jeff in complete surprise.

*******************************************************
BACK OUT IN THE KITCHEN......

"I wonder how Sean's doing with Jeff in there?" Nick
said, as he was washing the dishes, while Drew was
helping him, by drying the ones that were already
clean. Justin and Kandi were out on the couch,
watching TV and cuddling.

"I don't know, Bro." Drew said, quietly. "Jeff is
really depressed and I wish we knew why."

I know how you feel, Drew." Nick said, as he finished
washing the last of the dishes and handed them to
Drew, who finished drying them as he continued
talking.

"Why would Danny's leaving affect Jeff this way?" Drew
asked, more to himself than to Nick. "Unless..."

Here he got a weird look on his face. Nick noticed it
and frowned. "Unless what, bro?"

Drew had that intense look on his face for a another
few seconds, then he shook his head.

"No, that couldn't be it. Could it?" He said, as he
looked up at Nick.

"What, Drew? What are you thinking?" Nick asked,
getting really nervous.

*******************************************************MEANWHILE,
BACK IN JEFF'S ROOM......

"Wow." I said, completely blown away by Jeff's
revelation. "Jeff I had no idea." When did you realize
this?" I asked him.

"The day that Danny left all of us." He said, then
gave me a frightened look. "Do you hate me now?" He
asked.

I was shocked by his question.

"Jeff, of course not. Why would you ask me that?" I
asked him "I'd think you knew me better by now. I have
no problem with you being bisexual. It doesn't change
who you are. You're still the gorgeous Jeff Timmons
that we all know and love."

Jeff started blushing and then started laughing,
loudly. I laughed along with him. I hadn't seen Jeff
laugh for almost two weeks now. It had been over a
week since Danny had left and Jeff hadn't been the
same since. His depression had been so bad, that Nick
and I had cancelled our plans to go on our honeymoon,
just to be there for him.

Jeff stopped laughing and then grabbed me into such a
tight bearhug that I almost choked, but only for a few
moments. He then realeased me and I noticed him,
smiling at me when I looked up into his sexy blue
eyes.

"Thanks, Sean." Jeff said. "I needed that. It seems
like I haven't had a good laugh for so long."

"Well, I think you need to lighten up a little now. Do
you think you can do that?" I asked him, again.

"I guess I could try." Jeff said, softly.

"Good, buddy." I said, as I threw my arm around him.
"Danny sure wouldn't want you feeling like this. He'd
want you to be happy."

As soon as I'd brought up Danny's name, The smile that
had been on Jeff's face, totally vanished and he
suddenly started sobbing again. He buried his head
into my chest and held onto me for dear life.

"Jeff, what's wrong now?" I asked, totally shocked and
confused.

"There's something else I haven't been able to tell
any of you." Jeff sobbed, his head still huddled in my
arms. "It's about Danny."

Immediately, I started to panic.

"What is it, Jeff?" Is he sick? dying? having problems
with Amber? what?" I stuttered.

"No, Sean, it's nothing like that." Jeff said. "It's
about what happened between me and Danny at the
airport when I talked to him alone."

Now, I was curious. I had wondered what had gone on
with Jeff and Danny, after Danny had hesitated before
he hugged Jeff, one last time, before he left.

"What happened, Jeff?" I asked him, quietly.

Jeff took a deep breath and began.

"Well after you guys left, Danny and I talked a little
bit more about how much we were going to miss each
other and then when we went to hug each other again, I
ended up kissing him, on the lips, instead."

That perked my eyebrows up, hearing that. "How did he
react?" I asked.

"You're not going to believe me." Jeff said, sadly.

"Try me." I said, thinking that it couldn't be that
bad.

Jeff didn't answer. He got up and walked over to the
end of the bed, his back to me. I just stood there,
silently and waited for him to answer.

"He looked at me with this shocked look on his face
and then he hit me." Jeff sobbed out. "He then asked
me why I did that, and that's when I told him that I
was in love with him. And if hitting me wasn't bad
enough, he called me a cheap whore and said that his
friendship with me was finished."

After getting all of that out, Jeff broke down, crying
again.

Words could not explain what was going through my mind
right at that moment. But I knew what I was feeling.

Confusion. Astonishment. Sadness.

But most of all: Anger.

"I can't believe this." I said, in disbelief. "Danny,
my own best friend treated you like dirt all because
of a kiss?" I saw you two kiss that one day that I'd
broke up with Nick and he never treated you like that,
then. That doesn't sound like Danny at all. Did you
try apologizing to him?" I then asked.

Jeff sighed. "Yeah, but it didn't do any good." He
said.

I then remembered something.

Is that why he hesitated when he hugged you goodbye
for the last time?" I asked him. He nodded.

"Yes, he was still mad at me, but he put up a good
show, I'll give him that."

"Wait a minute?" I said. "You seemed fine when you
came out of there and told me that Danny wanted to see
me, before you went to catch up with the guys."

Jeff looked at me and shrugged. "What can I say?" He
said. "I put on a good show too. But I was really all
torn up inside after he treated me like that."

"Oh, Jeff." I said, pulling him into a hug again. "I
had no idea what you were going through at all that
day. I'm going to have a word with Danny right now."

I released Jeff and started pulling my cellphone out
of my pocket to call Danny, but Jeff's hand came down
on mine, stopping me.

"Don't Sean." He said, shaking his head. "It's not
going to change anything."

"How do you know that?" I asked him. If I talk to him,
it might just change everything."

"Well don't call him just yet." Jeff said. "Besides,
this is between me and Danny, buddy, and no one else
needs to get involved."

"Jeff." I said, sternly. "I beg to differ with you.
He's my best friend. So obviously, I will be
involved."

"Well, you can't help." Jeff snapped back.

"Well, I can damn well try." I said, as two tears made
their way down Jeff's cheeks.

"Damn it, Sean, would you please just leave it
alone?!" Jeff suddenly yelled. "As a matter of fact,
just get out of here and forget what I told you!"

"Jeff, I didn't....I started, but Jeff grabbed me and
shoved me out of his room. Hard. I fell back against
the wall, just as Jeff slammed the door in my face. I
heard him sobbing loudly afterwards.

I got up and headed back towards the living room. When
I got to the doorway, I saw everyone looking in my
direction. Nick got up from where he was sitting and
came over to me.

"Are you alright, sweetie?" He asked me, putting his
arms around me.

As soon as I felt his touch, I immediately wrapped my
arms around him, as I started crying. He just stroked
my hair and rubbed up and down my back, comforting me
as best he could.

It's alright, Sean." Nick soothed. "Whatever it is,
it's going to be alright."

*******************************************************

SOMEWHERE OVERSEAS........

"Hey baby, what's up?" Amber said, as she entered
Danny's room, on the navy's ship.

"Hey, sexy." Danny greeted her back. "Come here."

Amber walked over to him and lie down beside him in
bed. "How was your day?" She asked him.

"Mostly boring." Danny said, with a deep sigh. "I
really miss Sean and all of my friends back home."

"I know you do." Amber said, giving him a gentle kiss.
"But you'll see Sean and your friends soon enough."

The way she said that, made Danny's face turn serious.
"What do you mean soon enough?" He asked her. She gave
him her killer smile.

"We're going back next week." She said, surprising
him. "I managed to get us some time off so we can go
and visit friends and tell them our wonderful knews."
Isn't that great?"

"Yeah." Danny said, somewhat unenthusiastic. "I can't
wait."

"Neither can I." Amber said. "Well let's get to bed.
We have to be up awfully early tommorrow morning."

"Ok, baby." Danny said, pulling the covers around him
and her. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight, honey." She yawned. "I love you."

"I love you too, babe." Danny said.

(Oh, Jeff." Danny thought to himself. "How will I ever
be able to face you after everything that's
happened?")
