DISCLAIMER: I don't know O-town or the Backstreet Boys or N'Sync and am not

FIRST THINGS FIRST: Well, I'm back at school. I forgot how awesome college
was. I miss all my fans though and all the regulars in the chat room. I
still check my email so please send me some love to give me encouragement
to keep writing. It sucks that just as the drama picks up I had to go back
but you always gotta leave them wanting more right?  Stay with me guys

Did anyone catch the premiere of "Making The Band."? Oh man Ashley is
looking especially hot lately. I just can't get enough of these boys...even
though I had to watch it again the next day because I couldn't remember
much of it as I was indulging in one of college's advantages on a Saturday

Nick and Ashley- Chapter Twenty-Seven

Nick and Ashley were in the back of a taxicab speeding down the highway.
Right after Ashley hung up the phone he went to go get Nick and then called
the cops and had the call traced. It went back to a hotel room only about 10
minutes from the arena. Ashley stared out the window and saw Nick through
the reflection with a worried face. He turned around and saw that he was
biting his lower lip with a look on his face saying that he wished it was
just all over.

"You sure this is a good idea Ash?" Nick asked worriedly.

"It has to end tonight Nicky, I don't think I can take much more of this."
Ashley said with a determined look on his face.

"I just have a weird feeling about all of this." Nick said.

"That's the feeling that I don't want to live with for the rest of my life.
I have to talk to Lou." Ashley said as the cab driver pulled over.

"This is the place. That'll be $10.50" The cab driver said.

"Thanks." Ashley said as he handed him the money and got out with Nick
closely in tow.

Both men walked up to the top floor of the apartment building, which was not
exactly the nicest place in the world to put it best. They saw the door they
were looking for and knocked on it a bunch of times. There was no answer so
Ashley knocked so hard that the door swung open from the pure force. He
slowly walked in to see a complete mess of an apartment. He looked around
and saw no one.

"Maybe he left already. C'mon let's go." Nick said

"Wait, look at this." Ashley said as Nick came over to see what it was.

Both men looked at a list of dates and schedules in a calendar form.

"That son of a bitch has where we're gonna be for at least the next month.
He must still have some connections inside the crew." Ashley said with anger
in his voice.

"He was a really powerful man at one time Ash." Nick said

"I still would be if it wasn't for you assholes." A voice came from behind
them.

Both men quickly turned around and saw Lou walk out of a back closet and
stand there pointing a gun directly at them.

"Oh my god Lou what are you doing?" Nick asked pleadingly.

"Shut up Nick, just shut up. You're band was the one that started my
downfall." Lou said.

"You were the one that went behind our backs and started N'Sync." Nick said.

"Don't you fucking understand kid, it's all about the rivalry." Lou said.

"Lou, take a look at our tour right now. We're proving it's not all about
the rivalry." Ashley said.

"I know, that's why you're proving me wrong and I'm out of a job." Lou said.

"Lou, you're out of a job because you stole money from us. We loved you like
a father man. All 3 groups did. You screwed us all in the end." Ashley said.

Lou's eyes began to fill with tears. Ashley, sensing a weak spot tried to
move in and calm down this maniac.

"C'mon Lou put the gun down. We can all sit down and talk and figure this
out together." Ashley said.

"No!" Lou screamed out. "I'm not gonna let you punks get away with this
bullshit. Life is so fucking chipper for you guys. It makes me sick." Lou
said angrily as he held out the gun farther.

"Lou, killing me won't solve anything. It will only make things worse."
Ashley said.

"You're right, there's another way to hurt you even more." Lou said pointing
the gun towards Nick.

"Lou, no!" Ashley screamed as he started to run over to Nick.

A shot was fired and Ashley came tumbling down on top of Nick.


Ashley lifted his head and looked at Nick underneath him. Nick suddenly
opened his eyes and looked at him.

"Are you hurt?" Ashley said as he got off of him and looked to see how bad
it was. He looked and saw nothing.

"The gunshot didn't get me." Nick said as both men got up and saw Lou on the
floor, blood coming out of his chest. Both men, confused to say the least,
turned towards the door and saw a cop standing there with a gun, aimed
straight at Lou.

"My name is Officer Brady. Is everyone ok here?" the policeman said as he
checked Lou's pulse to see that he was dead.

"Yeah we're all right. How did you know that he could be dangerous?" Ashley
asked confused.

"I called them Ash. I told them to keep a close eye on the whole thing after
you got that phone call. I told you I didn't have a good feeling about all
of this." Nick said.

Both men hugged as the police filed in to start checking out the crime
scene.


The tour was over, and all the drama that seemed to come with it was over
also. O-town and Backstreet Boys had to stay in Orlando to work on new
albums and promotional things and videos amongst some appearances and other
things. This came with no complaints to the boys as most of the couples got
to see each other. All 5 couples had flourished since the tour and none more
than Nick and Ashley. The incident with Lou had really brought them closer
together and they felt as if nothing could come in between them now.

The press had backed off some seeing as Lou and Shellie were no longer alive
and couldn't cause any more trouble. Out of sight, out of mind truly was the
saying for these boys for as soon as they got back home into their
environment it seemed that the drama ended and life was back to normal,
which was more than they could ask for.

Dan and Devon were a couple that was especially glad that the tour was over.
They had only gotten to see each other once or twice while Dan was on tour
and now that they were home, Devon took some time off to spend in Orlando
with his boyfriend. Both men lay on the bed just holding each other, knowing
that their time was appreciated after not being with each other for a long
time.

"I could stay like this forever." Devon said as he wrapped his arms around
Dan tighter.

"I wish we could too. Recording today is gonna suck." Dan said.

"At least we're home though. That's all that matters." Devon said

"Yeah to know that you'll be waiting for me when I get back is the best
feeling in the world." Dan said.

"I'll always be here waiting for you Danny, you know that." Devon said

"I know Dev, I know." Dan said as he leaned into Devon and started to kiss
him passionately.

Their kisses meant so much more now that they understood what it was like to
be apart from each other and not have those kisses to fall back on. Dan
began to feel Devon's chest, which he knew, was working hard to make it more
muscular. In fact the place they met each other was in a gym. Dan was

"We don't have to get married right away. We can just stay engaged for a
while and then when we're ready we can. I just feel that our love has never
been strongest and it's the best feeling I have in my whole body right now.
Nothing has ever felt better or more right. We don't have to though, it was
just a..." Nick began to ramble on but was cut off.

"Nicky, I'd love to." Ashley said as both men leaned in and kissed briefly
making sure that no one could identify the two.

A herd of wild elephants couldn't remove the smile for these two lover's
faces.

"This is so great. How long do you think we should wait?" Nick asked.

"Well, it's April now. I'd like us both to be 21 so my birthday is August
1." Ashley said.

"How about a September wedding? That's right after you guys are done
shooting "Making The Band" and it's right before BSB leaves for touring
again." Nick said.

"You've really researched this huh?" Ashley asked

"Yeah I found out that September was the month where nobody really had
anything. We'll see though. We can wait a little longer if you want." Nick
said.

"I think September sounds great. We'll figure out the little stuff later on.
I think I've had enough big news for the night." Ashley said as he grabbed
Nick's hand.

Both men sat there holding hands just staring at each other, knowing that
they've found true love. They looked into each other's eyes and they saw
each other. Both of them knew they were good for one another and the future
would definitely be better together. Marriage was a huge step but at it was
time to start turning towards decisions in life and both men knew they could
use each other for support.

They were going to be together, hand in hand in marriage and both men were
extremely excited about it. They knew they had to keep it a secret as they
were giving themselves time for freedom they didn't need the pressures of
friends and family on them. They were happy in this moment and were going to
worry about everything else later.
