Subject: "Nick and Justin" part 30

Welcome to part 30. I know it's taken a bit longer than expected, but
it's another pretty long one. I hope everyone has enjoyed the series thus
far as much as I've enjoyed writing it. There are many more sections to come
still and many more places to go. Take a look at my other series, "Lost and
Found" if you get a chance. RJ is my partner in crime in that collaboration.

So, if you wanna contact me for anything, comments, questions,
criticisms, suggestions, things you'd like to see, greetings, anything, send
me some mail at BrwyMilo@aol.com. I love mail.

This story is totally fictional and is not meant to imply anything about
the sexuality or beliefs of anyone involved. It's all made up in my head.
That said, on with the story.

                    *****

The sun was shining brightly outside, disguising the true conditions of the
cold city. People walked around in overcoats and hats, something
uncharacteristic for a November in South Carolina. It was a busy
neighborhood, with traffic jams in both directions of the local highway.
People honked their horns and threw obsenities out the window. Needless to
say, it was not a happy morning.

Brian lay awake in his room, the covers laying across the lower half of
his body. JC had his head rested on Brian's chest, still sound asleep.
Brian stared straight ahead, looking at the blank television screen. He
reached over to his night stand and grabbed the remote, switching on MTV.

"And in concert news, the Backstreet Boys mega tour has sold out in all
cities in record time. The tour, which features N'Sync and Britney Spears is
said to be the biggest tour in decades. There is also a rumor that there may
be a late show-up on the tour with the three bands already. In a recent
interview with pop diva of her own sorts, Christina Aguilera, MTV's own
Carson Daily learned that her label is currently in negotiations with Jive to
add her to the already star-studded tour. Though nothing has been confirmed
yet, this would be quite an addition."

Brian stared at the television for a moment. "No way," he said to
himself with a laugh. "They wouldn't add someone on, would they?"

JC stirred lightly in his sleep. Brian clicked off the television and
replaced the remote on the night stand. He looked down at his sleeping lover
and smiled. "Are you up sleepy head?"

"Mmmm," JC groaned in his sleep. He yawned and then stretched, almost
hitting Brian in the face. Bri leaned back quickly, avoiding JC's hand
before laying down closer. JC's eyes opened slowly, meeting Brian's. He
smiled widely and shut them again. "Good morning."

"Good morning to you too," Brian replied. He kissed JC lightly on the
cheek.

"Careful. I must have a really bad case of morning breath."

"I don't mind it if you stink," Brian said with a smile.

JC looked at him for a moment. "Aw, you're so romantic," he said with a
grin. He stretched again and finally collapsed back. "I don't want to get
out of bed."

"Devon will kick your ass if you don't," Brian said.

"What, you won't protect me," JC said, sitting up.

"I don't know, he's pretty big," Brian said with a laugh. "And Fatima's
got his back. You don't wanna mess with her. She'll give you a real beat
down."
"You're right," JC said. He groaned and sat up. He glanced over at
Brian and gave a sigh. "OK, I'm gonna shower real quick then." Brian nodded
and gave a goofy smile. "You're far too chipper in the morning."

    "Sickening, isn't it?"

"Yes," JC said with a smile. He gave Brian a brief kiss on the cheek and
headed off into the bathroom.

Brian lay back down and stretched his arms. He glanced at the clock next
to him. "Have to be ready in thirty minutes," he thought to himself sadly.
He groaned again and shut his eyes.

When he opened them, JC was standing over him. "Well maybe you aren't
too chipper in the morning," JC said with a laugh. "You've been sleeping for
fifteen minutes!"

Brian glanced at him and saw he was wearing only a towel. "Well don't we
look sexy."

JC looked down quickly and laughed. He removed the towel, revealing a
pair of plaid boxer shorts. "And modest."

    Brian laughed. "Only you."

JC smiled and sat down on the bed. He looked thoughtful for a moment and
then turned to Brian. "So, what did you think about Leigh Anne's story," JC
asked as he ran a towel through his hair. Brian looked up for a second,
surprised at the mention of his ex-girlfriend's name.

"I think she's full of it," he replied flatly. "She's always been a
little over dramatic. First of all, to accuse one of us of making those
calls is ridiculous. We have better things to do than waste our time on her.
Secondly, there is no one stalking us. The only person I could think of who
would do that is dead. She just wanted the attention."

    "I guess," JC replied unsurely.

"What's wrong," Brian asked. "You think she was telling the truth?"

"Stranger things have happened," JC replied. "I mean don't you think we
should at least assume she's telling the truth? I mean we don't even have to
let her know. But I think we should at least look into this or something."

"Kevin said not to," Brian replied as his gaze drifted to the floor.
"This is all another one of her schemes to get into our lives. Just think of
it! If we let her in now...we may never get rid of her." Brian gave him a
smile as JC laughed a bit.

"Yea, that would be pretty bad," JC agreed. "OK then. I guess we just
leave it alone."

"Completely. If something comes up later on down the line, I'm sure
Kevin will have some plan to handle it."

    "I hope so," JC replied.

                        *****

"I'll have two eggs, scrambled, a side of sausage and orange juice,"
Justin said as he smiled at the awestruck waitress. Her hand moved as she
wrote but her eyes remained fixated on Justin. He smiled, took her pen and
scribbled his name on the napkin, handing both back to her. Then, with the
same awe struck expression she turned to Nick, who laughed and did the same.

"I'll have the same as Justin by the way," Nick said. The waitress
walked away, throwing a few glances back over her shoulder.

"Well that was amusing," Justin said with a laugh.

"Oh, so that's what you call it," Nick replied with a grin.

"Think she'll get our order right," Justin asked as he looked over to
where their waitress had disappeared to. She was huddled with a group of
waitresses about her own age pointing at where the boys were sitting. "I
think we're gonna need some more napkins."

There was a loud noise at the entrance to the hotel restaurant as Britney
came storming in. Justin laughed a bit as he saw the look on her face, but
wiped the smile away as he saw her approaching them. With a huff she pulled
a chair form their table and plopped into it.

"I cannot believe it," she said angrily. The waitress approached, again
awestruck. "Coffee. Lots." Justin slid a napkin towards Britney. She
signed her name quickly as she spoke. "So, I'm watching MTV this morning
and...thanks," she said as she handed the waitress her autograph. "And what
do I see on one of those dumb newsflashes?"

    "I don't know," Nick replied.

"Apparently we'll be getting an addition to our tour," Britney said.

Justin raised an eyebrow. "Anyone I know?"

"Oh quite well," she replied bitterly. "The bitch in the bottle is going
to be on our tour!"

"What," Justin said a bit too loudly. "How could they do that," he added
in a whisper.

"Well apparently she...or should I say IT...wanted to tour with us, so
her label is working it out with ours. Christ how could they do that?"

"They really want to play up these rivalries, don't they," Nick said.
"First they put us with N'Sync and now this? Do they want a world war three
on their hands or something?"

"Oh, they'll get it," Britney said.

"I don't know what you're so worried about," Justin said. "Your album is
selling more copies than hers is. Your single is higher on the charts.
You're with the bigger label. Please, you got her on all fronts."

Britney sighed. "Yea, for now. Who knows what's gonna happen once she
releases more singles and with the next album and everything. This just
isn't something I wanted to deal with right now."

"Well we got your back," Nick replied. "She does anything, we'll have
Chris beat her up."

"I don't know...she looks pretty strong," Justin said with a laugh.

Britney cracked a smile and sighed. "Ok, you're right. I won't panic
anymore. She does anything, I'll handle it in a mature manner."

    "That's my girl," Justin said.

    "With swift and blinding violence!"

"Britney!" Nick laughed and then leaned back as he saw the waitress
approaching with their meals. "You don't want breakfast Britney?"

"No," she replied. "I have to watch my figure more now that the blond
beast is gonna be with us. She's anorexic you know."

"She is," Nick said, a bit shocked.

"She has to be! She's a stick for christ's sakes!"

Justin laughed loudly. "That doesn't mean she's anorexic. Look at
me...I eat like a pig!" He smiled and then gave her a serious look. "And I
don't want to hear about you skipping meals or anything. You don't need to
lose any weight...and even if you did that is not the way to do it."

"I was only joking Justin. Here, look." She grabbed a piece of Nick's
sausage and downed it. "See, I'm eating."

"I think he meant order your own meal," Nick said with a pout. Justin
laughed and handed him a piece of his sausage. Nick smiled happily and
popped in it his mouth. "So, what are the other guys up to?"

"AJ was still asleep," Britney said.

"I think they were all gonna sleep in until the rehearsal," Justin said
as he ate his eggs. "Devon said he's really going to be working us today."

"Why...the tour already started," Nick said. "The audiences are loving
everything."

"He said something about one of the numbers being off center and not
looking right. He wants to redo a lot of the choreography," Justin said.
"So you see Britney, you better eat some more of Nick's breakfast. You'll
need your strength."

Nick groaned and slid his plate over. As the waitress passed by, he
said, "Can we please have another order." Justin laughed and threw him a
piece of toast.

"To tide you over," he said with a grin.

"You're too kind," Nick replied sarcastically. Then he added a smile.
"And you know I love you."

                        *****

"That was a good rehearsal guys," Devon said as he took his towel and
walked towards everyone. "Dancers, you guys are done for the day. Guys, you
have some voice work or something to do I believe," Devon said.

"Don't remind us," Howie groaned. "I just want to go back to bed!"

"Then you should get to sleep earlier and not hang out at clubs all
night," AJ said with a laugh.

"And when did you become the responsible one," Howie replied.

    "It comes with age."

"I just think your hair dye finally seeped in too far."

"OK, enough of that," Kevin said. "You know we don't have a choice, so
let's just go get it over with and get out of here."

Howie groaned and walked to the backstage area where a piano had been set
up in a sound proof room. "Ok, Backstreet Boys first," Steve the voice
teacher instructed. Nick kissed Justin quickly on the lips and then walked
to the side of the piano. Justin sighed and stepped out of the room, along
with Joey. Lance and Devon were already in the hall way, kissing each other
in a dark doorway. Justin looked over at them and laughed to himself. He
pointed them out to Joey who simply rolled his eyes.

"I just don't get it," he said finally.

"I'm telling you Joey, go for one of the dancers.

"Yea, but which one? There are so many!"

"What about Amy? She's pretty hot...I think..." Justin scrunched his
nose up and laughed. Joey looked thoughtful for a moment.

"Well, maybe. She is pretty cool."

"And available," Justin said in a sing song manner.

"What do you mean," Joey asked as he furrowed his brow.

"I did a little research," Justin said looking up at the ceiling.

"And she's not seeing anyone," Joey asked hopefully.

"Totally single," Justin replied with a devilish grin. "I could hook ya
up if you want."

"I want I want," Joey said in a pant. Justin laughed loudly and nodded.

"Consider it done then. Oh, and this does mean that should you guys get
married, I get to be best man."

"Whoa, let's just get me a date first. Then we'll discuss marriage."

"Whatever you say," Justin said as he walked down the hall.

Joey leaned against the wall and put his head back. "God, how long has
it been," he asked himself. He didn't notice as Chris walked up at him,
waving a hand in front of his face.

"Hey stupid," Chris said loudly, snapping his fingers in fornt of Joey.
Joey snapped back into reality. "Get the goofy grin off your face."

    "Wha?"

"I said, what's wrong with you!"

Joey grinned widely. "Justin's getting me a woman," he said confidently.

Chris stared at him for a moment. Then he burst out laughing. Joey's
face contorted from pleasure and concern as he watched his convulsing friend.
 "What's wrong with you?"

"You have to have a gay guy get your girls for you! You don't find that
at all amusing," Chris asked with a grin.

    "No," Joey whined.

    "A little pathetic maybe?"

"Maybe...but I don't see you with a girlfriend or anything now, do I?
Joey cocked his eyebrow and stared at his friend, watching as his smile faded.

"Do you think Justin could get me a girlfriend too," he asked in a small
voice.

"You're hopeless," Joey said as he walked away.

                    *****

She sat in front of the vanity, combing her silky hair. One hundred
strokes, she laughed to herself as she continued. As soon as she replaced
the comb on the vanity's surface, she ran her hands through her hair, making
sure it fell naturally. She sighed happily and picked up her lipstick,
applying a generous amount of pink to her lips. She smacked together and
checked her teeth. She continued to apply her make-up, occasionally glancing
at the poster that was now hanging on the wall. It was a concert
announcement. She turned from the mirror to examine it once again.

The picture on the upper left had five young men in it. They were
dressed all in white, as they were on the cover of their latest album. She
glanced from face to face. Her eyes stopped on the tallest one. His hair
was black and a bit wild in it's spiked up position. His face had a small
goatee and mustache. She smiled and then shook her head. "Too old."

Her eyes wandered down to picture of a female. Long brown hair with a
slightly up-turned nose. The eyes were wide and innocent. She sneered at
the picture, resisting the urge to take her pen to it and draw a mustache and
horns and moved to the upper right corner.

The picture had a group of five young men in it, just like it's neighbor.
Her eyes settled on one of the faces. He had curly hair with blond
highlights. His face had a goofy smile painted across it, his eyes wide with
excitement. Her mind drifted back to years before. 'The good old days,' she
thought to herself, running a finger gently over the face of the young man.

She looked down to the last picture on the poster and smile widely. She
glanced at the caption underneath. "Christina Aguilera, Live with The
Backstreet Boys, N'Sync, and Britney Speers". She laughed to herself and
sighed contentedly. Her eyes lifted back to the picture of the young man
with the curly hair. "Soon Justin," she said aloud to herself.

"Ms. Aguilera? Two minutes," the stage hand said as he popped his head
in, a headset permanently attached to his ears.

"All ready," she replied, giving him a seductive smile. He blushed and
quickly exited, leaving Christina gagging. She took a final glance in the
mirror, adjusting herself one more time, making sure everything was in place.
She smiled to the mirror and bounced out the room. She ran down a short
hallway and stood in the wings, where another stage hand was positioned,
ready to cue her for her entrance.

"And now we've got a girl with amazing talent," Rosie said as she read
off the cue cards. "Her hit single "Genie in a Bottle" stayed at the top of
the charts for several weeks, as did her debut album. Everyone give a warm
welcome to a real cutey, the genie herself, Christina Aguilera."

Christina put on her smile and walked quickly from the wings, embracing
Rosie as she approached the cluttered desk.

"Hello," Rosie said excitedly as she released her and led her over to one
of the chairs.

    "Hello yourself," Christina replied happily.

"So, what's new," Rosie asked in typical fashion as she played with one
of the toys on her desk.

"Oh not too much," Christina said sarcastically.

"Oh you big liar," Rosie replied with a laugh. "You know what I'm
talking about. What's this we hear about you signing on to the hottest tour
this season?"

Christina giggled lightly and nodded. "Alright, you got me. I recently
signed on to tour with the Backstreet Boys, N'Sync and Britney Spears. It
just happened the other day actually. I'll be joining the tour in Wahsington
DC in a couple of days."

"Wow, a couple of days," Rosie said. "So, was this a hard gig to get
with the labels and everything. We know how much trouble they can be in the
music industry."

"Actually, from what I heard it was pretty simple. I was available, they
seemed to like the idea, so it got booked."

"As easy as that," Rosie said.

"As easy as that," Christina replied.

"Wow. Now you have something in common with quite a few members of the
other groups that will be touring with you, don't you?"

"Yes, I do. I was on the Mickey Mouse Club with JC and Justin of N'Sync
as well as Britney Spears?"

"And now all of you are major musical talents. That show must be doing
something right!"

"Well, it provides great experience. It helps you get over any stage
fright you might have relatively quickly and gives you a lot of exposure and
opportunities. After that, a career in performance seemed like the next
logical step."

"Now, I'm sure everyone's heard of the supposed rivalry between you and
Britney Spears. Is there any truth behind this? Keep in mind, I'm not
trying to turn this show into Jerry Springer or anything, so keep it clean."

Christina laughed loudly. "I've heard all about this rivalry we have
going, and honestly, it's news to me. I saw her a few weeks ago at a party
and believe me, there is no conflict between us whatsoever. I wouldn't be
touring with her now if there were. We knew each other on the Mickey Mouse
Club, but didn't really get a chance to keep in touch after that to the
extent that either of us would like. But getting to tour with her now will
give us a chance to catch up kind of."

"Could there be a possible collaboration as well," Rosie asked.
Christina resisted the urge to laugh loudly.

"Well, only time will tell. I don't think anyone is ruling out anything
right now," she replied with a smile.

"Now, I understand you're going to be performing for us?"

"Yep. I'm gonna be singing Genie in a Bottle."

"Stay tuned folks. Right after this, Christina Aguilera performs her
chart topping hit, Genie in a Bottle."

                    *****

Lance sat in front of the television in the recreation room watching the
Rosie O'Donnell show intently. He glanced over and saw Britney reading a
magazine. "Hey Brit, wanna hear Christina do Genie in a Bottle?"

"Haven't I heard it enough," she asked with a laugh.

"Aw come on, maybe she'll crack," Lance replied with a grin.

"Oo, you're right," Britney said as she hopped down off her chair and lay
next to Lance.

"You really hate her guts, don't you," Devon replied as he walked over,
eating a banana. "Is it the competition thing?"

"No, it goes back a little further than that," Britney said with a sigh.
She waved her hand in the air. "Nothing to get into right now."

Devon shrugged and hopped down next to Lance on the floor. "Well she
hasn't cracked yet."

"Devon, you watch the dancing and tell me if she fucks up. Lance and I
will listen to her voice."

Devon laughed slightly as he gave Lance an odd look. They watched the
performance. At the end, there was not a note out of place or a move off
beat. "Sorry Brit, she didn't screw up."

Britney laughed. "I was only joking guys. Honest." She looked at their
doubting faces. "I swear." With a grin she grabbed her magazine and walked
out of the room.

"Well, this tour is certainly going to be fun, isn't it," Devon said with
a laugh.

"Can we please not even think about it," Lance replied. "It's gonna give
me a headache."

"I can help with that," Devon said as he sat behind Lance. He put his
legs around Lance's waste and put Lance's head back so it was resting against
his shoulder. He put his hands on Lance's shoulders and began to kneed them
through his fingers. Lance moaned slightly, smiling as his tense muscles
relaxed.

"You're really good at this," Lance whispered.

"Sshh-" Devon said as he brought his mouth to Lance's neck. He began to
suck gently as he felt Lance leaned further in to him. Devon slipped his
hands from Lance's shoulders and began to rub them slowly up and down Lance's
torso. Lance nearly collapsed against Devon as he leaned his head back to
kiss Devon's neck.

"Why don't we find someplace a little more private," Lance suggested.

Devon smiled widely and got up. He extended his hand and pulled Lance to
his feet. "That's a great idea."

                    *****

Justin groaned loudly as he felt Nick kiss his neck and ear. Nick rubbed
his body along the length of Justin's, his breath warm on Justin's body. He
finally settled, bringing his mouth down to Justin's. His tongue entered
slowly, roaming around Justin's mouth. The leather sofa beneath them sunk in
as their bodies weighed down on each other.

Justin brought his hand slowly down Nick's torso and tugged at his shirt.
Nick took the hint and removed it, tossing it aside. As soon as it was off,
he smiled down at Justin and began to slowly unbutton Justin's. Justin's
face was calm and serene as he felt Nick undress him. When the buttons were
all undone, he arched his back and allowed the shirt to fall off his body.
Nick collapsed on top of him. He could feel Nick's hands roam all over his
body, finally wrapping themselves behind Justin. He rubbed his crotch into
Justin's, feeling each other's hardness. With a groan, Justin freed his
hands and brought them to the front of Nick's pants. He undid the button
slowly, carefully pulling down the zipper. Nick smiled down and lifted his
body up, kicking his pants off. He sat up slowly at Justin's knees and
rubbed his hands up, gently stroking Justin's crotch through the fabric of
his blue jeans. Justin moaned in pleasure as he felt Nick's hands on him.
Nick brought his hands up and undid Justin's pants, sliding them off his
body. He looked down and saw Justin in a pair of silver boxer shorts.

"Where'd you get those from," Nick said with a smile.

"You like," Justin asked. Nick brought his head down and licked the
fabric around Justin's crotch.

"I like," he said with a huge grin on his face. Justin smiled widely and
sighed.

"Can we please make love before I explode right here," Justin said. Nick
laughed slightly and then pulled down the fabric to Justin's boxers. Justin
sighed loudly at the release. Nick soon had his hands around Justin's cock,
stroking it slowly as he breathed heavily into Justin's ear. He sucked
gently on his earlobe, feeling Justin's breath on his neck. Justin moaned
louder. Nick smiled to himself and pulled off his own boxers. He pulled
Justin to the side and then on top of him.

"Would you make love to me," Nick asked with a grin.

Justin smiled to himself and nodded. He watched as Nick spread his legs
and breathed a little heavier. He could feel his desire growing as he
positioned himself. With a groan, he pushed into Nick. Nick gasped heavily
and tensed up. Justin paused and watched his face. As soon as he relaxed
and nodded, Justin pushed in further. He stopped as soon as he was all the
way in. He paused, allowing Nick to adjust to having him inside. Then he
slowly withdrew. He was close to begin with, his pounding a bit rougher than
normal. Nick breathed heavily and threw his head back. Justin moaned
loudly. A few more thrusts and he let out a loud groan as he came inside
Nick. Feeling Justin inside him was enough to push Nick over the edge as he
exploded between them. Justin collapsed on top of Nick and lay there,
breathing gently into Nick's ear. Nick sighed happily and wrapped his arms
around Justin. "Did we remember to lock the door," Nick asked.

"Yea," Justin replied weakly as he felt his eyelids getting heavier.

"Good. Then you take a small nap, ok," Nick said. He could hear a light
snore coming from Justin. He smiled happily to himself and lay his head
back, closing his eyes and pulling Justin in tighter to his body.

                    *****

"Has anyone seen Justin or Nick," Kevin asked as he paced around the
lobby.

"Not since the rehearsal," Chris replied as he flipped through the pages
of a magazine.

"Calm down Kevin, they're probably just having sex somewhere," Joey said
with a laugh.

"That was so not necessary," Howie replied as he rolled his eyes. He
glanced down at his watch. "Well whatever they're doing, they'd better
hurry. I'm getting a little hungry here."

"Me too," Nick said as he walked over his arm around Justin.

"Yea, I bet you worked up quite an appetite," Brian said with a grin.

"What do you mean," Nick asked innocently. Brian pointed down to Nick's
fly.

"Forget to zipper something," Brian asked mischievously.

"Your mouth," Nick replied sarcastically. He gave a short laugh before
zipping his pants and turning to Justin.

    "You hungry?"

    "Actually I'm starving," Justin replied.

"Thank god," Howie groaned as he stood up. "Can we just eat at the
restaurant in the hotel? It's the closest."

"Actually you guys are eating without me tonight," Kevin said.

    "Why's that," AJ asked.

"Well, remember Mindy," Kevin asked as he blushed slightly.

"Finally," Britney said with a giggle.

"What are you laughing about," Kevin asked as he gave her an odd look.

"Well god Kevin, you've been talking about this girl for how long now?
None of us have ever met her. We were beginning to doubt her existence,"
Howie replied.

"She's real," Kevin said defensively. "It's just hard for us to meet
with us moving around so much. I was supposed to see her while we were still
in Florida, but had to cancel."

"So is Kevin gonna get some," Joey asked with a grin.

Kevin laughed loudly. "We're just friends, Joey," he replied. "We're
just gonna have dinner, maybe see a movie-"

"Have mad animal sex," Chris interjected, his eyes still in his magazine.

"Can we just go," Kevin said exasperrated. "The limos are outside."

"Let's go you wild man," Brian said as he stood up and walked towards the
door, one arm around Kevin's shoulder.

JC remained seated on the couch, watching Brian. His eyes roamed around,
before settling back in his lap.

"Hey, JC, you coming man," Chris asked as he stood. They were the only
ones left in the lobby. Chris approached slowly and stood over his friend.
"JC?"

"Have you ever felt something slipping away," JC asked quietly.

Chris examined his face and then thought for a moment. "I don't know.
Not really, I suppose. Why?"

"No reason," JC said sadly as he stood. "Yea, let's go."

                     *****

"Hi, is Kevin here," a female said from the doorway.

Justin hopped off the bed quickly to where Brian stood. "Who is it," he
asked in a child like voice.

"Um, it's Mindy," she said with a slight laugh. She watched as Justin's
eyes grew wider, as did his smile.

"I'll go get him," he said happily.

"Now Mindy, why don't you come inside," Brian said with a grin. He led
her into the large living area of the hotel room. "Kevin will just be a
minute." He looked at her steadily for a moment. "So, what are you
intentions for my cousin?"

"Excuse me," she asked a bit shocked.

"Brian will you cut it out," Howie said with a laugh.

"I'm just having a little fun," Brian replied. "Kevin'll be out in a
minute."

"So, you are the infamous bands I've been hearing so much about," Mindy
said kind-heartedly. "You're giving him a lot of gray hair, or so I hear."

"Oh, he loves every minute of it," Nick replied with a laugh. He was
careful to stay far enough away from Justin so as not to arouse suspicion.
"So, what are you guys doing tonight?"

"I thought we'd go see the Pokemon movie," she replied.

Justin's mouth dropped open. "You're joking right," he said.

Mindy laughed loudly. "Of course I'm joking," she replied with a huge
smile. "We're going to dinner and then to the opera."

"The opera," Brian said, sounding impressed.

"Nothing major. Just a local performance a friend of mine is in," Mindy
said. The door to the bathroom opened slowly as Kevin emerged. His goatee
and mustache were freshly trimmed, his hair done up as if he were ready for
an appearance. He wore a form fitting black suit with a white t-shirt
underneath.

"Hi Mindy," he said, just a bit shyly. Mindy stood slowly.

"Wow. You look great," she said as she approached him. They hugged each
other warmly. As Kevin looked over her shoulder, he saw Brian and AJ oo and
ahing. He groaned and released her.

"So, we ready to go," he asked.

"Yep, got the tickets. I'll see you guys later," she said with a smile.

"Have him home by eleven," Brian said jokingly. Mindy gave him an odd
look before closing the door behind them.

                    *****

"So do you think Kevin is ever going to forgive us for that," Brian joked
as he glanced at his menu.

"What's this us you're talking about," Howie asked. "According to my
memory, you were the one doing the questioning."

"I was only playing. She knew that," Brian said. He thought a moment
and then sighed. "I'll apologize later."

"Now why didn't Joey and Chris want to come tonight," Devon asked, his
menu already folded in front of him.

"I don't know," JC said. "Chris said something about his foot hurting
him and just ordering room service." He glanced up at Brian and smiled
weakly. Brian gave him an odd look, squinting his eyes at him. JC felt his
smile melt as his head turned back to his menu.

"Are you alright," Brian asked as he placed on hand in JC's lap. JC
jumped a bit. Brian quickly withdrew and moved away a bit. "Sorry," he
mouthed, placing his hand back on the table. JC started to speak, but
decided it was a bad idea. Instead, he placed his hand in Brian's lap.
Brian looked up at him and gave him the same funny look.

"I'm sorry," JC whispered. "A little jumpy." Brian smiled a bit and
moved his hand back to JC's lap and kept it there. JC smiled brightly for
what seemed the first time in days. "I love you," he mouthed.

"So, I'm like starving here, where's the waitress," Howie said in a whine.

"Just keep your pants on," Justin laughed. "Here she comes now."

                    *****

"I'm so sorry about the guys," Kevin said. He and Mindy sat in the dimly
lit restuarant. He had avoided the topic of their behavior thus far and had
made a mental note already to kill Brian.

"Oh come on," Mindy said laughing loudly. "They were just playing. I
was having fun."

"Well at least someone was," Kevin said with a grin. "I love them all,
but they can act like a bunch of kids sometimes."

"Oh, as I recall you can have your childish side too." She thought a
moment and smiled. "I recall a certain incident at a movie theatre in
Orlando."

"Not that again," Kevin said, half sighing, half laughing. "There is no
reason for a movie theatre to run out of artificial butter topping for the
popcorn."

"So you had to run to a store and buy a stick of butter," Mindy said,
laughing loudly. "It was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen," she said.

"Didn't stop you from eating it," Kevin said with a grin.

"Hey, popcorn is popcorn," she replied, a twinkle in her eye. She
cleared her throat and looked down at the table cloth. "I've missed you."

"I missed you too," Kevin said, a smile creeping more and more across his
lips. "A lot."

Mindy looked up with a cocky look in her eyes. "Oh really now," she
said. "How much?"

"This much," Kevin said as he leaned in. He gently kissed her lips,
placing one hand behind her head. After a moment he pulled back and looked
at her expression. It wasn't one of love or even happiness. It was shock.

                    *****

"I wonder how Kevin's date is going," Justin said as he took some food
off Nick's plate. Nick laughed, noticing that Justin had already finished
everything on his own.

"You're not pregnant are you," he asked with a laugh. Justin almost
choked on what he was chewing. After much difficulty he swallowed and took a
gulp of his water.

"That was not funny," he said as he laughed. Nick rubbed his back gently.

    "You alright?"

"I'm fine," Justin replied with a smile. "Just try not to make me choke
again."

"So many dirty jokes running through my mind right now," Lance said with
a smile.

"Which are better left unsaid as I'm eating," Britney replied.

"Aw come on," Devon said with a laugh. "You know you love them."
Britney rolled her eyes and swirled her pasta around her plate.

"Actually I'm done. You can be your perverted self now Lance," she said
with a smile.

"We're not going back to the hotel after this are we," AJ asked. "I
mean, it's still kind of early and I don't think we have to be up too early
tomorrow," he said, throwing a look over at Devon. Everyone followed suit
and stared at their choreographer.

"Alright," Devon said. "You guys worked hard today. But keep in mind
you have a concert at night, so you can't sleep in all day."

"Deal," JC replied. "So where to?"

"I've got an idea," Howie said with a grin.

                *****

"I'm sorry," Kevin said as he blushed a bright shade of red. I shouldn't
have."

"What are you talking about," Mindy said. "You saved me the trouble of
doing that. I've wanted to all evening."

Kevin looked shocked for a moment then laughed. "Well, I'm glad I can be
of service." Mindy blushed and looked up and saw the waiter approaching,
dropping something onto their table.

"Don't you dare even reach for that check," Kevin warned as he saw Mindy move
her hand towards the leather envelope the waiter brought over.

"Come on, I'm a liberated woman. I can pay if I want," she said a bit
defensively.

Kevin shook his head. "So what? I'm stuck in the Stone Age. I like
paying. It tickles me," he said with a laugh. "You can pay for ice cream
later."

"Oo, ice cream sounds very good right about now," Mindy said with a grin.

    "Do you remember-" Kevin said.

"Madison's Ice Cream Parlor," Mindy said, finishing Kevin's thought for
him.

"We got fired our first day working there!"

"You ate a tub of ice cream," she said with a laugh. "It's amazing you
don't weigh five hundred pounds now for what you ate as a kid.

"No kidding," Kevin replied. He handed his credit card to the waiter as
he passed by again. He looked back up at Mindy. "You look beautiful."

                    *****

"Howie, you're crazy," Justin said as he slipped through the tear in the
fence and into the deserted school yard. "Isn't this illegal?"

"Only a little," Howie said with a laugh, carrying the clattering bag
carefully. "Come on, we never do anything crazy!"

"Yea, but this is just dumb," Devon said as he slipped through, holding
the opening wider for Lance and Britney to get through.

"Oh come on, it might be fun," Britney said with a smile. "Come on, we
never get to do any kid stuff either!"

"Some of us aren't kids," Brian said with a smile as he slipped next to
her.

"You know what I mean," Britney replied. "Right Justin?"

"I guess," he replied a bit nervously. He watched as Howie took a seat
against a wall which was no doubt used for handball by the school's students.
 "So...um, what did you get?"

"Lots of vodka, some southern comfort, and..." Howie paused as he reached
back into the bag. "Tequila!"

Nick walked over to where Justin stood and paused. "Are you alright," he
asked slowly. Justin nodded weakly. "You know you don't have to if you
don't want to," he reassured him. "We're just playing here."

"No, I want to," Justin said unconvincingly. Nick gave him a sideways
look. "I'm serious! Here, look." With that, Justin walked over to Howie
and picked up one of the bottles of vodka. He shook a little as he opened
it, finally getting the top off. He looked at Nick and then with a deep
breath, put the top of the bottle to his lips. He paused again and then in
one quick motion threw his head back. He drank a few gulps worth and then
yanked the bottle away, handing it back to Howie. His face contorted as he
lurched his body forward. Nick took a few steps forward and reached out.
Justin got back up and looked Nick in the face. "See?"

Nick merely nodded and sat down next to Howie. "Take it a little slower,
Curly," Howie said with a laugh. "Can't have you getting sick on us here."

Justin smiled widely and looked around at everyone standing. "Well what
are you guys waiting for? Let's have some fun."

                *****

"Oh my God that was beautiful," Kevin said. "Now that's singing!"

"Oh yea, and you would know nothing about that right," Mindy said with a
laugh. "You can get a sound like that any time you want."

"But just to hear it in the context with the story and...God just
everything! I never have the time to do things like this. I'm always
touring or recording or rehearsing or playing daddy."

"Well you could've called me sooner," Mindy said with a smile.

Kevin gave a short giggle, holding the door to the theatre open for Mindy
to walk through. "I know I could've," he replied. "I guess I felt kind of
guilty cause I went so long without calling you after promising a phone call
every week."

"Yea yea," Mindy said. She looked at him carefully. "I just missed you
so much I don't care if it was years since we spoke. I just wanted to hear
your voice."

"Well here you go then," Kevin said with a laugh. "How about that ice
cream?"

                *****

"Don't you think you guys ought to slow down," Howie said as he glanced
at Justin and Britney. They each had a bottle in their hand, pouring the
liquor down their throats.

"No, I'm fine Howie," Justin said, obviously feeling it's effects.

"Yea, but you have to share the bottle," Howie said, knowing that that
was the only was to get Justin to surrender the bottle. "Give some other
people a drink."

"Oh, ok," Justin said. As he went to hand it to Howie, he turned it
upside down. "Um, Howie, I think I finished it."

"You did not drink that entire bottle," Nick said a bit angrily. Justin
lurched back quickly hugging his arms to his sides.

"No, you and Britney had a little too, remember," Justin said. Nick
sighed and scooted closer to Justin, pulling him into a hug.

"I know baby," Nick said as he ran his hands through Justin's hair. "I'm
just worried, that's all. I don't really like the idea of us doing this," he
said as he threw a glare over at Howie. Howie shrugged and took a drink of
southern comfort.

"I'm with Nick on this one," Devon said. "This is definitely not a good
idea. For one thing, we're trespassing. You're also drinking in public,
which is illegal. And oh yea, most of us are under age. That means we get
caught, you're in deep shit Howie."

"Devon calm down, we'll go soon," Howie replied. He looked around
suddenly. "Anyone notice where Brian and JC went?"

"They left twenty minutes ago," Devon said with a sigh. He looked around
at everyone. Nick was hugging Justin tightly. Britney was laughing wildly
and dancing around, a bottle in one hand as AJ looked on, shaking his head.
Lance was a bit tipsy, but had stopped drinking a long time ago. "You guys
better be fucking amazing at tomorrow's concert or I swear to god I'll make
Fatima look like your fairy godmother."

"Stop worrying. Everything is fine," Howie said.

There were sirens in the distance. Howie looked up suddenly, a
frightened look on his face. He mumbled an obscenity under his breath as he
gathered up all the empty bottles and tossed them in a trash can. "Time to
go," he said quickly.

"What," Justin said as he looked around.

"Get up Justin. Nick, get him up, we've gotta get out of here, now."
Howie pulled Lance to his feet and headed back towards the hole in the fence.
He looked back and noticed everyone lagging behind. "Those were police
sirens. So, unless you want to deal with them I suggest moving your asses
and getting back to the hotel. Now."

"Um, I don't feel so good," Justin said. He laughed a bit and fell back
down.

"Shit," Nick said as he picked Justin up. "Wait up guys!"

                *****

Howie peeked his head into the kitchen and breathed a sigh of relief.
"Everyone in. And try to be quiet."

Howie slipped the key to the back entrance of the hotel back into his
pocket. He made a mental note to thank the hotel manager for giving them one
in case of emergencies.

"Can we just get upstairs and forget this happened," Britney said with a
groan. She glanced down at her torn jeans and breathed heavily. "Running
through dark allies in the middle of my night isn't exactly what I had in
mind for a fun filled evening."

"Yea let's just get to bed," Lance said, following closely behind Devon.
He looked over his shoulder and saw that Nick was still carrying Justin, who
was now sleeping in his arms. "Is he alright?"

"Just tired I guess," Nick said. "And very drunk."

"Well just put him to bed," Devon said.

"He's gonna feel like shit in the morning," Howie said with a sigh. He
looked back over to the guys. "I'm sorry. I should never have suggested any
of this."

"It's not your fault," Devon said with a sigh. "Well not totally.
Everyone else went along with it so everyone is to blame."

"Let's just get to our rooms and get to sleep," AJ said finally, walking
a few paces away from Britney.

They headed towards the elevator, no one uttering a sound to each other
as it ascended to their private floor. As soon as the doors opened, everyone
was walking in their separate directions, hoping to salvage whatever sleep
they could.

Nick carried Justin over to their room. He placed him momentarily on the
floor, leaning him up against the wall as he dug in his pockets for the room
key. He found it and opened it quickly. He picked Justin up again and
carried him over the thresh hold and over to the bed. He looked down at him
and sighed. "Even drunk off you ass you're adorable," he said sadly.

"Nick," Justin said as he stretched and rolled over onto his back.

"I'm right here," Nick said with a smile.

"I don't feel so good," Justin said.

Nick sighed loudly as sat down on the bed next to Justin. "You feel like
you're gonna throw up?" Justin nodded slowly, his eyes shut. With a sigh,
Nick pulled Justin up and walked him over to the bathroom. He sat him down
on the side of the tub and lifted the toilet seat up. He ran his fingers
gently through Justin's hair and smiled. "This is why I don't drink too
much," Nick said.

"Remind me of that next time," Justin said groggily.

"I reminded you this time," Nick said with a smile.

"Oh," was all that Justin could say. They stayed in the bathroom for
what seemed like an eternity for Justin. Nick had a warm wash cloth in his
hand and was rubbing it across Justin's brow and neck. After several minutes
Justin struggled to stand. "I don't think I'm gonna throw up. Can we just
go to bed please," Justin asked as he struggled to his feet.

"Yes we can," Nick said with a smile. He led Justin back through the
room and over to the bed. He helped Justin take his clothes off and pulled
back the covers for him. Justin climbed in and sighed happily.

"Would you hold me," he asked as he shut his eyes.

"Of course," Nick replied. He climbed into bed next to Justin and pulled
the covers over the both of them. He wrapped his arms around Justin and
pulled him in close. He looked down and saw Justin already sleeping.
"Goodnight sweety.

                *****

"I had a great time Kevin," Mindy said with a smile. "We're really going
to have to do it again."

Kevin sighed sadly. "You know how bad my schedule is."

Mindy nodded slowly. "Well, you get a couple of breaks, don't you," she
said.

"Yea, I get some breaks," he replied, a grin creeping across his face.

"Well you know where I'll be," Mindy said. She paused and smiled,
beginning to turn away. "Aw shit," she said as she swung back around to face
Kevin. She threw her arms around his neck and kissed him passionately on the
mouth. Kvin was a bit stunned and almost stumbled back, but soon regained
his composure.

"To remember me by," she said as she turned back.

Kevin breathed heavily and watched as she started to walk away. "We
don't have to end our date yet," he said suddenly before he knew what he was
saying.

Mindy paused. She turned around, a huge smile painted across her face.
"Well then what are we waiting for?"

                        *****

So, that was part 30. I hope everyone enjoyed it. I'm gonna try to get
the next section out sooner. They're gonna start to be longer, so they may
take longer to finish.

So, how'd Justin like his night of drinking and how is this going to
affect the tour? What will Christina's presence do to Britney? Are JC and
Brian drifting apart? What is up with Kevin and Mindy? Is Leigh Anne gone
for good? Ugh, too many questions! But they will all be answered as the
story continues. Check ya later.
