Date: Tue, 13 Jul 1999 14:08:14 EDT From: BrwyMilo@aol.com Subject: Nick and Justin part 8 Here is the latest installment of Nick and Justin. I would like to thank everyone who has sent me e-mail with suggestions and words of encouragement. It makes writing these stories worth while. If you have any comments of suggestions, you can e-mail them to Mike at BrwyMilo@aol.com. As always, I don't intend to imply anything about the sexuality of any members of Backstreet Boys or N'Sync. This is purely a work of fiction. Now, without further ado, here's part 8. ********************** Justin froze and looked up at his mother. He slowly lifted his head from Nick's chest and sat up. Nick was still sleeping and moved closer to Justin as he did this. Justin shook him a little. Nick opened his eyes slowly and noticed that he and Justin weren't alone in the room anymore. He looked up at Lynn and slowly sat up as well. "I asked you a question Justin? What's going on here?" "Mom, it's kind of hard to explain...I mean..." Justin fumbled with his words. He looked down at his hands. "Justin had a nightmare," Nick said looking over at Justin. Justin gave him a puzzled look. "I heard him from my room and I came in to see what was wrong and he was really upset about it, so I told him I would spend the night in here." Lynn looked at the both of them. "Justin, is this true?" Lynn asked, her arms folded across her chest. Justin looked over at Nick. Then down at the bed. "No mom, it isn't true." Nick sighed and stared down at his hands. "Then what is the truth Justin?" Lynn's voice raised a little. Justin breathed heavily and looked up. "Mom, the truth is, Nick and I are more than friends." Justin looked down at his lap. "I'm...gay." Lynn froze where she was standing. "You're what?" "Mom, this isn't a bad thing. I'm still the same person I always was." Justin had crawled to the foot of his bed and grabbed his mother's hand. Lynn slowly lowered herself to the bed. Justin looked at her and saw tears in her eyes. "Maybe I should wait downstairs," Nick said as he got up. "No, I want you to stay," Lynn said, never looking up. Nick stopped where he was and sat back down. "Justin, how did this happen?" "How did what happen," Justin asked, a little confused. "How are you gay? Is it something I did?" Tears began to roll down here face as she clutched Justin's hand tighter. "Mom, it's nothing you did, and it's not something I chose. I've always been gay, and I've known for a very long time that I was. I think I may have always known, I was just good at hiding it from myself." He looked into his mother's eyes. "Mom, I love you. I need you to understand this. Please mom..." Lynn cried harder and pulled her son towards him. After a minute she wiped her eyes and took a deep breath. "Well, I can't say that this is the life I would have chosen for you. But...I'll support you with it. Now, would you explain to me your relationship with Nick?" "Well mom, Nick and I met a few weeks ago when our bands met for the tour. We spent a lot of time together...and...I love him." Justin took Nick's hand and held it. "Justin you can't possibly be in love. First of all you're too young; both of you. Secondly, you've only known each other a few weeks. How could you possibly be in love." "Mom, there's a connection between us. We know how to make each other feel better. When I'm with him, nothing can hurt me. He makes me feel safe and alive. I know it sounds like we rushed things and everything, but I know what I feel Mom." Justin brought Nick's hand to his lips and kissed it gently. Nick felt himself get teary eyed as he heard what Justin was saying. Lynn cleared her throat loudly and looked sternly at the two of them. "And what about you Nick? How do you feel about my son?" Nick looked at Justin and smiled. "He's my everything. I can't go a minute without thinking about him. He's the last thing I think about before I go to sleep and the only thing that's on my mind in the morning. My life was empty till I met him and now...I couldn't ask for anything more." Lynn just stared at the two of them and knew that they were actually in love. "OK guys, fine. Justin, Nick, I give you both my full support. But please be careful. You're still young. I don't want you making the same mistakes so many other people have. You seem to have a good thing right now. I'm...I'm happy for you." Lynn pulled them both into a hug and then rubbed Justin's hair. "Well, we'd better get downstairs before breakfast gets too cold. You guys hurry down." With that she got up and left the room. Justin scooted closer to Nick and hugged him. "Well, it turned out better than I thought it would. I thought she would've thrown me out or something." "I thought she would've thrown me out!" Nick said with a laugh. He hugged Justin tighter. "So, I guess she thinks this is OK, then?" "Well, I really don't think she's thrilled about it,'" Justin said with a laugh. "But I think with time she'll learn to love you as much as I do." He gave Nick a quick peck on the cheek and then stood up from the bed. "Well, come on, we'd better get down there before she gets the wrong idea!" They laughed and both headed downstairs. ********************* Brian woke up, his body curled in JC's strong arms. He stretched a little and glanced up at JC's smiling face. "How long have you been up for?" "About half an hour or so I guess." JC yawned a little and then tousled Brian's hair. "You're very cute when you sleep, you know that?" Brian gave a huge smile. "I've been told." "By who?!?" Brian blushed. "My mommy." The both laughed and JC hugged Brian closer. Brian heard JC's stomach growling. "You hungry?" "For you," JC said seductively. He reached down and gave the front of Brian's boxers a little squeeze. Brian's eyes shot open and he gripped the sheets. "Did you like that?" Brian slowly nodded which made JC smiled. He laid Brian down on his back and moved down. "JC, are you sure you want to? I mean, I loved last night, just laying in your arms. I don't want you to rush into anything you don't want to." JC put his finger to his lips and made a shushing sound. "Brian, I wouldn't be down here if I didn't want to take the next step. I love you Brian. I think I can honestly say that. You told me you loved me as well. If you don't want to, then it's OK..." "No, I do." JC smiled and Brian turned red. "In that case..." JC pulled Brian's boxers down, exposing his cock. JC gently took it in his hand and wrapped his fingers around it. Brian moaned loudly. He gently stroked and kissed Brian's tight stomach. "You're so sexy..." JC said in a husky voice. He put his lips around Brian's cock causing Brian to moan loudly. "And adorable," JC said before quickly replacing his lips. He moved slowly down, taking in inch by inch, until finally Brian's entire cock was in his mouth. Then he slowly ran his tongue up and down the shaft, while raising his head. Brian clutched the sheets and moaned. JC jerked the lower part of Brian's cock, while licking the top part. After about eight minutes, Brian suddenly threw his head back. JC engulfed Brian's cock once more as Brian shot into his mouth. JC swallowed every drop and then crawled back up to where Brian was laying. "My God that was wonderful..." Brian said as he breathed heavily. JC laid his head on Brian's chest and listened to his quick heartbeat. After a minute or so, Brian reached down to JC's boxers and pulled at the waistband. "You don't have to Brian," JC said with a smile. "I want to. Believe me!" With that, Brian put his hand beneath the cloth and grasped JC cock. "God, you're big," Brian said in awe. JC blushed as Brian began to stroke him. He was easily nine inches in length. Soon Brian was taking as much into his mouth as he could, finally choking a bit. "You don't have to take all of it in cutey," JC said with a smile. "You know, you might be a little to big for that." Brian smiled back and was soon working on getting as much of JC into his mouth as he could. He stopped about 2 inches from the base and began bobbing up and down. JC moaned and gripped the sheets tightly. He was soon cumming in Brian's mouth. "That was fast," Brian said as he crawled back up. "You get me too excited cutey." He leaned down and kissed Brian on the mouth when suddenly a thought struck him. "Oh my God I forgot to tell you! Justin called last night looking for Nick. I think they got into a fight or something." "What?!? Oh God! And what? Nick ran off!" Brian grabbed the phone quickly and dialed Justin's phone number. After a few rings, Justin finally picked up. "Hello," he said as he chewed. "Justin, it's Brian. Is Nick there? Is Nick OK?" Brian said frantically. "Yea Brian, Nick's fine. Why are you so- ohhh man! I forgot I called there last night! Yea, I was looking for Nick. Why don't you guys come over? But calm down. Everything is great now. The rest of the guys should be here in a couple of hours, but you guys come now so we can talk." "We'll be there soon," Brian said as he hung up. He turned to JC and sighed. "Everything is fine. I don't know what happened last night, but it's better now. But we're supposed to head over there to talk." JC sighed and got up off the bed. "Well, let's grab a quick, shower OK?" Brian smiled and led him by the hand into the bathroom. **************************** Justin hung up the phone after saying goodbye to AJ. The plan for the day was that all the guys were going to meet at Justin's house and then head over to the studio to record some tracks. After they were done there, they would have the rest of the day off. The next day, they would find out exactly who their opening acts would be for the remainder of the concert and they would be practicing. Then they would have one day off before they hit the road for the tour. It seemed like a hectic schedule, but both bands were used to it. "Justin come back in here and finish you're breakfast," Lynn yelled from the dining room table where she, Nick and Jonathan sat finishing up their food. "Nick, do you make sure he eats well enough when he's on the road. I mean, I do what I can when he's home, but when he's not..." "He takes very good care of me mom," Justin said with a laugh. Nick smiled and swallowed his last forkful of eggs. "I make sure he gets three squares a day. We don't want him getting too thin," Nick said as he smiled at Justin. "I know! I mean, his weight is OK now I guess, but he could stand to gain a few pounds," Lynn said as she watched Justin pick at his toast. "OK now moms! That's enough. I eat fine and my weight is just peachy where it is." He smiled at Nick and then stuck his tongue out. "Come on Nick. We gotta get ready. The guys will be here soon." With that he got up form the table, took Nick's hand and headed towards the stairs. Lynn sighed a little. "Justin," she called from the table. "What mom?" "Nothing...nevermind." It would take a little getting used to seeing her son hold another man's hand, but she'd rather get over it in her own way than have Justin have to hide behind her back. Justin pulled Nick into his room and kissed him quickly on the lips. "Just wanted to say thank you for everything this morning. Putting up with my mom, defending me, taking care of me..." "Justin, I love you. It's what I'm here for. It's what I'll always be here for." He pulled Justin close to him and kissed the top of his head. "Now let's get ready quick before everyone gets here." "Oh yea, Brian and JC are coming before the rest of them. They kind of have a rough sketch of what happened yesterday. I called them when I couldn't find you." Justin bit his lip as he relived the night before. "You don't know how worried I was." He laid his head on Nick's shoulder and breathed heavily. "Justin, I'm never going to do something like that again. I promise. I didn't know what to think last night. First I thought I was going to lose you to Lance, then I thought I was going to lose you because I ran away. I'm sorry." They held each other for a few minutes as they both calmed down. Finally, Justin pulled back a bit and smiled. "We gotta get ready." Nick nodded and gave Justin a light kiss on the cheek. Justin blushed and watched as Nick left his room and walked back to his own. He smiled and then began to get ready. **************************** Brian and JC sat in Justin's living room, waiting for Justin and Nick to come down. JC sat with Jonathan, who was watching cartoons, on his lap. After about fifteen minutes of waiting, they both came bounding down the stairs laughing. Brian jumped up when he saw the two of them. "Are you guys OK?" Brian asked as he walked towards them. "Yes B-Rok, we're both fine now. It was a rough night, but for now all is well," Nick said as he walked to the armchair next to where JC was sitting. "Hey Jonathan, why don't you run upstairs so we can talk to Brian and JC for a minute." "OK," Jonathan said as he hopped off JC's lap and jumped up the stairs. "OK now Justin. What went on here last night? Why was Lance here when we dropped you guys off?" JC looked over Justin slowly, trying to discover what was on his mind. "Lance came here to tell me that he was in love with me," Justin said slowly. Brian and JC gasped and threw a look to Nick who just sat there and nodded. "I told him that I wasn't interested and I was in love with Nick. But while I was talking to him, he...he kissed me." Again there was a gasp as they both looked over to Nick. "You guys really have to stop that now," Nick said with a nervous laugh. They both looked back to Justin. "Nick came downstairs right as he was kissing me. He heard a few things Lance said and then left." Justin took a minute to calm himself down and keep from crying. "So I made sure Lance finally understood what I was telling him and then ran after Nick. Lance drove off." He looked up as he finished and saw JC and Brian in thought. "Are you sure you're OK Nick," Brian asked. Nick nodded slowly and smiled weakly. "Yea, I'm fine. I wasn't at first, but I am now." "But what about Lance?" JC asked while he stared at Justin. "Well, I called him this morning and he said he'd be here when the other guys come. I mean, he did sound upset, but I think he'll be fine. I made him understand about Nick and I. I told him there's gonna be a guy for him. He'll be alright JC." JC slowly nodded as Brian sat back down on the couch. JC took Brian's hand and gave it a light squeeze. Brian gave him a big smile and then a light kiss on the cheek. "OH! That's the other thing!" Justin said with a slight laugh. "What are you talking about," JC asked again. "Well, after Nick and I made up last night, he fell asleep in my bed," Justin said, omitting anything sexual. "My mom came into my room this morning and saw us." Justin's voice trailed off as he said the last couple of words. Again, both guys gasped and looked over at Nick, he busted out laughing. "OK, that was the third time guys! You're starting to freak me out now!" "Justin, what did your mother say? Where is your mother now? She let us in, said hello and then ran upstairs." JC was obviously very nervous about Lynn's reaction. "Don't worry JC," Justin said calmly after a while. She wasn't too thrilled about it, but she said she'd accept it if it's what makes me happy. It was easier than I thought." JC breathed a sigh of relief and leaned back. Then he looked up at Nick. "Nick, are you gonna tell your parents about the two of you?" Nick got a bit nervous before nodding his head slowly. "Yea, I'm planning on telling them at some point. But I don't know when yet. Maybe after she finds Justin and I in bed together like Justin's mom did!" The guys all laughed and continued talking for a few minutes. Then there was a knock on the door. Justin got up slowly and answered it. "Hey Justin, Brian and Nick are here right," Kevin said from the front porch. Justin looked past him and saw that Joey, Chris, AJ, and Howie were waiting on his lawn. He saw Lance pacing around on the sidewalk a bit further back. "Yea, Kevin they're here. So we're heading to the studio right now, right?" "Yea, so tell them to get their butts moving." Kevin laughed and then walked down the path towards the limo. Justin walked back into the house and told the guys that they were going to head to the studio. Justin ran up and told his mom they were going to the studio. He ran back down the stairs and headed out to where Nick, Brian and JC were mingling with the other guys. He worked his way over to where Lance was and stood face to face with him. "Hi Lance," Justin said. Lance looked at the ground and mumbled a greeting. Justin wasn't sure what to do. He put a hand lightly on Lance's shoulder. Lance looked up sharply. "Are you alright," was all that Justin could think to say. Tears welled up in his eyes as he shook his head no. With that, he turned and quickly got into his limo. Justin sighed and felt a hand on his shoulder. Turning around he saw it was Nick. "He's not any better today, is he?" Nick asked sincerely. "Not at all," Justin said as he looked at the limo. "I don't get it Nick. Why did he have to fall in love with me? It's not fair for him. I can't love him like that. I love you." "Well, just keep that in your mind," Nick said with a smile. "Look, Lance will find the right person for him. Just like you and I did. He'll be fine once he realizes you weren't his one and only opportunity for happiness. Just give him some time." He gave Justin's hand a squeeze and the two of them hopped into the limo with the other guys following. Soon they were speeding through the streets towards the studio. ******************************** Nick and Justin sat in the sound booth ready to record their duet version of "I Need You Tonight" as they had performed at the last concert. The room had been set up in a way that allowed them to create the proper environment for their recording. Candles were lit and scattered around the room. Most of the lights were turned off and they two lovers sat side by side on stools. "OK guys, I want this to feel like it's being performed live. So give it your all," the producer said form the booth. Soon, the music was coming in through their headsets. Nick grasped Justin's hand as he began to sing. Open up your heart to me And say what's on your mind, oh yes I know that we have been through so much pain But I still need you in my life this time, and Justin joined in singing in perfect harmony to Nick's voice. In a room next to the booth, JC and Brian watched the session. JC was holding Brian in his arms and kissing the back of his neck as they heard the music coming through the speakers. I need you tonight I need you right now I know deep within my heart It doesn't matter if it's wrong or right I really need you tonight Justin took over where he and Nick had sung and began the second verse. He didn't see Lance sitting in a room next to the booth. Lance sat on a leather couch, his knees pulled up to his chest, rocking slowly back and forth as he cried. He listened as Justin sang and imagined he was singing just to him, and that Nick was the furthest thing form Justin's mind. But he knew that wasn't the case. He knew Nick was the only thing on Justin's mind…and on Justin's heart. I figured out what to say to you But sometimes the words they, they come out so wrong, oh yes they do And I know in time that you will understand That what we have is so right this time, and Together they sang the refrain, this time Justin taking the melody, while Nick supported it with the same beautiful harmony Justin had just sung. I need you tonight I need you right now I know deep within my heart It doesn't matter if it's wrong or right Nick grasped Justin's hand tighter as he again took the lead. He recalled the pain of the night before as he belted out the next section. All those endless times we tried to make it last forever more And baby I know I need you I know deep within my heart It doesn't matter if it's wrong or right I really need you, oh Justin again came in to finish the song with Nick. Each of them, Nick and Justin, Brian and JC, and Lance, had tears in their eyes as the song concluded, Nick singing the last line. I need you tonight - I need you, oh I need you baby I need you right now - It's gotta be this, it's gotta be this I know deep within my heart No, it doesn't matter if it's wrong or it's right All I know is baby I really need you tonight The music died out as Justin stood up and hugged Nick tightly, burying his head in his chest. Nick gently stroked Justin's hair and smiled. "That was beautiful Justin. We have a song now." Justin looked up and smiled despite all the tears in his eyes. He took a deep breath and then looked up into the booth at the producer. He could have sworn he saw tears in his eyes as well. The producer gave them a two thumbs up sign and told them through the headsets that they were all through for the day. They removed the headsets and blew out all the candles in the room, Nick jokingly singing happy birthday. "Make a wish Justin," he said with a smile as he held up the last candle. Justin thought a second and then blew it out. He looked up at Nick and smiled. "Aren't you going to ask what I wished for?" "Nope. If you tell me it might not come true." Justin smiled and then leaned in close to Nick's ear. "It already has come true." With that he kissed Nick lightly on the lips and left the room with a smile. Nick laughed and ran out after him. The guys were walking down the hallway when suddenly Justin and Brian stopped dead in their tracks. "Leigh Ann-" Brian said, white as a ghost. "Britney-" Justin said equally as pale. JC and Nick looked at their respective lovers and grimaced. They knew the rumors about Leigh Anne and Brian and about Britney Spears and Justin, but neither of them thought they had any factual basis. "What are you guys doing here," Nick asked as he looked back and forth between Britney and Justin. "Nick! What are you talking about?!? We came to visit our boyfriends, silly," Leigh Anne said. ********************** Well, there's part eight guys. Hope you all liked it. Again, I would like to thank everyone who has sent me e-mails.
