Erik recited the vocals in his very sensual voice as he stood on stage by himself. The song was a cover of an old one by George Michael but the crowd had loved it in Orlando so they were going to perfect it and put it out to the Atlanta crowd too, which is where they were now. Ashley stepped up behind him and harmonized the chorus with him. This was the third track off their new album and may even be a single someday so they wanted it to be perfect. "These are the Days" was already taking off but they wanted at least three better- known songs off the album to make it big. "I should have known better than to trust a friend Who's jealous of the way we're living I don't think you know what's happening Your girl was shading you I should have known better than to trust a friend Behind your back she gives me rhythm But I'm about to make her understand I only dance with you." The two boys stood at the front and split up when Jacob came in between them and took on the next verse. As the chorus kicked in all five boys came up and started doing the choreographed dance, Dan the voice that carried many of their songs stepping to the front to complete the bridge, making his voice stand out the most. All five boys finished the song together. There was no sophomore jinx here...they were ready to stay for a while. "Alright guys, that's a wrap for rehearsal...you have the rest of the night off...be here after breakfast tomorrow to finalize stuff before the show tomorrow night." Kenny, the O-town choreographer yelled out. Kenny had been with them from the beginning. O-town was his first act and seeing as they were a new band they gave them a shot, not knowing that they were getting a very dynamic dancer who whipped them into shape and ready for every show. He was young just like them so he was perfect. They respected him greatly even for his age. Kenny ran his hands through his short, blond hair as he sat down in the chair watching his guys get ready to leave. This was tiring for him but especially since he had to see Dan everyday. When Dan joined O-town as the controversial 6th member to replace Ikaika after he left the group they had just hired Kenny so they both clung to each other being the new guys. They eventually got really close and friendship turned into something a little more intimate. Once Dan got to know the guys a little better him and Ashley became very close with Dan, almost best friends. Dan noticed that he and Kenny drifted and decided to end it. It broke Kenny's heart to see Dan with Ashley now but he needed this job and even though he wanted to fight for Dan just seeing him happy made Kenny happy. That smile was irreplaceable to him. "Hey Ash, let's go get something to eat." Dan said to his boyfriend as he grabbed his hand and walked him out of the arena, never realizing how much he was actually hurting his ex. They immediately recognized who it was and decided to play some games. Dan slinked up near the driver's side and Ashley went around towards the passenger side. A waitress was immediately near their table as they sat down seemingly a little more excited than she usually is with normal customers. "Oh my god, I'm like your biggest fan in the world. This is so exciting." She said as she kept waving her hand in front of her face as if it was heat coming off of her. Nick had a feeling this might happen so looked into his messenger bag, otherwise known as his survival kit, and pulled out a promotional picture from the tour and a marker. He signed it and passed it around the table having all the guys sign it. He handed it in the waitress' direction. "We'd kinda just like a nice quiet lunch. Is that ok Jenny?" Nick said with a smile reading her nametag. "You got it." Jenny said as she put the menus down and walked away. "I gotta give it to you Carter, you're good." Ashley said "Years of practice" Nick said with a laugh. A few minutes passed by and Jenny came back with some waters. "Know what you guys want yet?" She said in her southern accent "Yeah, let me get the Grilled Chicken Caesar." Dan said "I'll have the Southwestern Fajita Quesadilla." Ashley said "Teriyaki Glazed Steak Salad." Nick said. "Crispy Shrimp Primavera for me thanks." Justin said as they all handed them the menus and she walked away. "So Ashley, you like that spicy stuff huh? I always thought guys from Ohio were mild." Nick said in a joke commenting on Dan's birthplace. "Yeah well you know those Tennessee guys are pretty hot so you gotta watch out." Ashley said referring to Justin. "I'm glad you two can have a conversation about us while we're right next to you without including us." Justin said. "Yeah besides me and Ash are much hotter together than you two ice cubes." Dan said with a laugh. "Don't encourage them." Justin said as he put his hand on his head with everyone else laughing. "You think so huh? Alright well tonight we rented out a VIP room at the club that we're going to. Management does that so we can have some privacy. We'll have a little competition to see who's hotter. It will just be friends so it's safe." Nick said. "You're on buddy." Dan said as he shook Nick's hand. Ashley looked on with a smile as Justin just put his head down on the table, with everyone laughing at him. Nick and Justin were laying in the bed of their hotel suite that they shared together.
