Subject: Shawn's Gift

Author's Note: Yes I'm back. I have decided to try another type of story. I
don't know if I will continue the other stories I have at the moment. I
have reached a block. If you have any ideas please feel free to let me
know. I want to take this time to thank a very good friend of mine. Rod
a.k.a. Starbolt. Man you have been the friend I needed when I had no where
else to turn. Also I am in the Chat room most of the time. it is found at
the nifty boybands site or if you have a different client like mIRC or
Pirch or another one it is found at irc.nifty.org port 6667 join us there
sometime. And to all my friends in the chat thanks for your help.

Legal Note: Okay guys and girls you know the rules. If it isn't legal where
you're at to read sexually explicit material then go. Also this doesn't
reflect anything about the celebrities in this story primarily the
Backstreet Boys.

I had been in the forest meditating when I felt a change in the forces
surrounding me. I knew it was danger but not to me, but to others close to
me. I left for the castle. As soon as I reached the castle I burst through
the doors and saw my Chamberlain.

"Kira, where is my father?" I asked my chamberlain.

"He is in the throne room Prince, he doesn't want to be disturbed." I
turned on my heal and headed toward the throne room. I was furious. Not
only had my life been threatened I find the royal seal on a letter telling
the assassins where to find me and everything. In the main hall guards
closed the path in front of me.

"Move aside now!!!!" I yelled at them.

"On orders of the King no one is allowed into the throne room." One of the
guards replied. I was tired of fooling around.

"Either move or I will move you!!!" I said. Still the guards refused to
stand down. I summoned the power of wind and formed a ball of wind. I threw
it at the guards and they were sent sailing down the hall. I continued to
the throne room. I tried to open the doors but they were locked. I stepped
back and formed a starblast. The doors were no more. When the smoke
dissipated I saw my father in front of a crude alter doing a spell. I knew
one thing though this was not good. It was pure evil.

"How did you escape?" He asked me in a snarl.

"I am stronger than you think Father, what have you done with mother?"

"Oh her well you don't have to worry about her cause you will be joining
her in a moment."

"I don't think so Father. You see I am much stronger than you, much." Just
then I burst into StarFlame. I summoned the mystic fire known as spell
flame to surround me. I watched as my father got a scared look on his
face. "But I can't destroy you, but I can stop your terror." I extended my
hands and created a ring of mystic blue fire around my father. "I will
change you so that you will live but no power." Slowly his feet began to
grow roots. They dug into the floor to reach the soil. The fire began to
climb up his legs.

"I have one more spell to cast, my son!!!!!" He chanted an ancient spell
what it was I don't know but as he finished it he became a full tree. He is
trapped for the time being. And the mystic fire was gone. In the center of
the room floating was the Cthrag Sardious an orb of evil. Before I could
trap it in hidden vortex an evil shadow appeared.

"NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!" It was the shadow of the lord of the of Shadows.

"Hehehe I see you trapped one of my most powerful underlings."

"Why are you here?" I asked shaking at the enormous power in the room.

"I came for the Cthrag Sardious."

"I will not let you have it!!!" I yelled. I threw a ball of starlight at
the orb. The light surrounded it and it vanished into a vortex that only I
know of.

"Blast you Star Warrior you will pay for that!!!!" I watched him gather his
dark powers to use against me. But suddenly light came from every where.

"We will not let you harm him." I looked to my sides and there were the
Guardians.

"You Guardians can't stop me you are forbidden to do so, hehehe" The evil
lord of Shadows said.

"You are right but we can protect him," they turned to me, "Star Warrior
you can no longer stay here, there is a dimension that is guarded and is
also in another universe so he will not be able to follow you. Once there
you must find others who fight The Dark Lords." Please forgive us our child
this must be done." With that the three guardians began to spin very fast
around me creating a orb of light around me. Then they got faster and
opened a portal and sent me through.

**In the Realm of Earth**

"Guys there is someone on their way here." Kal said to his friends Brian
and Brad.

"We know..." Just then Lady Guardian of the Earth appeared.

"Listen closely, his name is Star Warrior he is from a distant Realm. He
will arrive here but his memory may be gone, he may only know what the
stars have placed in his mind of a life here. Watch for him and continue
your search for others with power." With that she left.

"Wow he must be strong for her to appear like that." Brad said.

"Yes he must be." Kal said.

**Orlando**

"Guys I just had another vision, but this time it was of this guy coming
from another realm. He is in trouble. But he won't remember much though."
Nick said to the guys. Each of them knew that each had a special power and
knew that Nick's visions were never wrong.

"Yes I feel it now Nick, he is very strong."  Kevin said. 'He also has a
pure heart full of love I can feel it in my own heart.' Kevin thought to
himself. "Anyway we have to get to rehearsals, lets go yall." With that
everyone left for rehearsals.

**Two Years Later**

	I was sitting at home surfing the internet as I usually do on the
weekends. Well there I was surfing the internet sites for one of my
favorite groups the Backstreet Boys. I noticed that they would be starting
up their tour in a few weeks at Orlando, FL. The date of July 8th stuck me
with something, not only was it my birthday but I am also on vacation then
as well, and I was gonna be in Orlando at the same time. I grabbed my
credit card and bought a ticket and won a backstage pass to see the Boys. I
was in awe. I had never been this lucky. I then pulled up my favorites and
reserved a flight out to Orlando for the first of the week two weeks from
now. I got a discounted price on the plane ticket as well. I then searched
for a hotel near the arena. There was one that still had some
vacancies. But my mouth popped open as I saw it was the Heat. I checked and
they only had two penthouse suites. I knew I had enough so I reserved one
of them. And with a click every thing was set. Now all I had to do is wait.

	I got up and stretched I couldn't believe my luck. But I looked at
the time and decided I should get in bed so I could get up for work in the
morning.

**Dream**

	I was in my special place once more. Walking on top of a cliff over
looking the ocean with a full moon above me. The night sky was full of
stars, glittering and twinkling. The waters dance across the rocks below,
and the wind sings it soft melody. Standing there at the point of the cliff
I watched the horizon trying to find where the sky stopped and the water
began. Just then I saw what looked to be a shooting star. I smiled at it
but then I noticed that the star was getting bigger and closer. As it got
closer I saw that it wasn't a star but a lady dressed in white. Her smile
made me peaceful.

"Dear, dear child, this place is your own place of peace and the only place
I can talk with you. You are a very special person. I came here to help
you, if you would let me."

"I could use some help really." I giggled a little and then returned to the
lady floating before me.

"Well the help you are wanting is not exactly what I have for you, but non
the less it will help you." She raised her hands and a ball of sapphire
blue light formed between them. the color of the light was the exact match
for my eyes. "Shawn this ball of light is a key to understanding who and
what you are, deep with in your mind and heart lies a totally different
person but that person is exactly like you. You have many times asked the
stars for help now they have." As she finished the sapphire blue ball
floated over to me and surrounded me in a sapphire blue flame. In my mind I
felt a release of power and in my heart I felt the sorrow of thousands.

"Why do they give me the sorrow of thousands Goddess?"

"Dear Child, it is the sorrow of the old dying and a new you being
reborn. The flame you see around you is known as the Flames of the Phoenix,
which represents rebirth." Truly as she said that I felt renewed,
energized, and stronger. "You will learn more of the powers you hold as you
grow, I must go for now, remember Star Warrior I am always with you." With
that she vanished and I woke up to the buzzing of the alarm clock.

	I work at United Recording as a over all manager. I had papers
stacked on my desk when I walked in. I groaned cause I knew I would be here
a while with this amount of paper work to do. I pulled off my coat and sat
down and began to go through the papers. I pulled the closest stack to me
and pulled the top file. Great job applications. I closed the folder and
set those aside for the time being. I grabbed the next file and opened it.

**Eight hours later**

	I filed the last document away and looked at the clock. Time to
leave finally yes!! I was gathering my things when my boss walked into the
office and sat down in front of the desk. I sat down as well.

"Well Shawn I see you finished all that paper work I had for you."

"You gave me all that work, why?" I saw a smile creep up on his slim bony
face.

"Because I have decided to give you a longer vacation. I checked on your
flight and hotel accommodations and saw you had already paid for them but
they were only for three weeks now you have five weeks. And the company
will pay for it and pay you for the money you spent on it."

"But sir why? Why are you doing this?" I was confused.

"Son I am making you a partner here, you have done outstanding work and
proven your self to be worthy of it." I was to say the least shocked.

"umm... hmm Mr. Craf." He interrupted me.

"Please, call me Mike."

"Wow, Mr... sorry Mike thank you. I don't know what to say."

"You don't have to. Now you get on home and pack so you can leave the next
day. Oh and here you'll need this." He handed me an envelope. I opened it
and there was four credit cards and a plane ticket with my hotel
reservation information and... I dropped everything else and only held onto
the all access pass for the one and only Backstreet Boys.

"How when?" I asked barely.

"Well that leaves out who, what and where doesn't it? Hehehe I have
connections my boy. You have fun while your there you here." With that he
got up and left. I sat back into my chair and stared at the things on my
desk the contents of the envelope sat there. I couldn't believe my change
of luck. I sat up and put all my stuff in my briefcase and headed out the
door for home.

	Once I was home I changed into some comfortable clothes and began
to pack my things. I was in the middle of packing up my lap top when I
heard the door bell ring. I headed downstairs to answer the door.

"I'm on my way don't go away!!!" I yelled. I got there and unlocked it and
opened it I just stood there staring at the man at my door.

"Hi, your Shawn right? I decided to come and help you pack is that
alright?" I just nodded my head I didn't trust myself to speak. "Oh by the
way name is Kevin." I reached to take his hand in a hand shake when every
thing went black.
