As many of you have already probably read, Justin Scott, the author of
Crazy Cajun, had written a notice and posted it to his story that accuses me
of alot of things. I am appalled at this notice and wanted to write a note
in reply to clear the air.

Remember awhile back when I said that there was an author that told me to
quit and that my story was crap and noone would read it? Well I tried to
keep names and stories confidential cause it was nothing that you, the fans,
should be worried about. I posted that note at the beginning of Chapter 3 to
strictly get your opinions, not to put Justin down or anything like that.
As I said before, whatever happened was between me and him.

Since he has dug up bones that I thought were buried and gone, I feel that I
need to reply to his Petty notice and clear my name.

The last time I talked to him was on April 14th via email. Now he is coming
out of the woodwork again with these lies. He says that I have stolen his
format and storylines and such for his story. I want to say, once and for
all, MY STORY IS MY STORY AND NOONE ELSES. THE STORY IDEAS AND LAYOUT CAME
FROM MY OWN MIND. In the short time that I knew him and talked to him we
have never batted around story ideas or anything. He told me nothing of his
story or where he was going with it. He did give me ideas for my story that
I diddnt like and diddnt use...but even if I did use them, isnt that what an
idea is for...to use? Dont give the idea out if you dont want it used.

The only thing that I used that was his was the disclosure. I liked how it
read and so I copied it and changed it to work with my story. It is not
EXACTLY the same. He also has issues with the way I have the "Previously On
That Day" at the beginning of my story. That is the most Petty thing I have
ever heard. I am not the only one that writes for Nifty that uses that
feature in their stories. If this was something he originated then he needs
to talk to every other author on Nifty.

Im not writing this email for pity from you the readers. I dont need 10
emails to tell me that you are still reading and that I need to continue. I
am doing this to clear the air and my name. I am, however, seriously
considering if I want to continue writing. Not only this story but others
that I have started. I began doing this because it was fun and very
theraputic for me. Life sucks sometimes and you have to have your outlet
and I was using this as my outlet. It seems however that its going in a
direction that I dont like and its not fun anymore. That, to me, is a sign
to quit. Im not giving up and letting him win, I just have other things
that I can spend time on that wont come back negative on me.

I appreciate my readers and thank them for their words of encouragement and
for sticking with me. Without you I would have quit the first time. I hope
all of you understand why I would want to stop though. Its not worth it to
me to do something for people to read when I end up being hated and accused
of false things. I want to assure you however, should I descide to quit,
that I will never forget how you have taken Cody and the gang into your
hearts and have enjoyed the story. You have helped breathe life into them
and I cannot tell you how awesome that is. Me and Cody are almost identical
and you have helped me just as much.

That is all I wanted to say. I know my true fans will believe me and will
understand the descision I have to make. I thank you all again and I
appreciate everything.

That is all I wanted to say....I have some thinking to do.
