very well/easily. Anyway, ENJOY! :)

Disclaimer: None of this happened; it is all a figment of my poor, poor
deranged psyche. This story is not meant to imply anything about anyone,

"Can't let you know
What's been happening.
There's a ghost in our home,
Just watching you without me.
I'm not here." --Kate Bush

I couldn't believe it when I saw my name printed on a large plastic
card being held by a man in a uniform. It donned on me that the producer
must have sent a car for me. I smiled. I felt like maybe if the producer
had though I was worth having a car sent after me, that maybe I really was.
The driver smiled as I waved for him and introduced myself.
"Hi, I'm Aaron Macmillan." He shook my hand and went to deposit the
plastic card in the trash but I stopped him. "If you wouldn't mind I'd like
to keep that as a souvenir." He nodded,
	"Right this way sir."

The phone in the hotel room rang precisely ten minutes after I
walked in. I picked it up.
	"Hello?" I asked carefully.
"Yes, hi, is this Aaron Macmillan?" The man on the other end asked.
"Yes, may I ask who this is?"
"Oh, my name is A.J. McLean, I'm your new producer." I dropped the
phone. I could hear him asking me if I was still on the line as I picked
the phone up from the floor.
"Yeah, I'm here Mr. McLean, sorry about that, I was just a bit
shocked." He laughed,
"That's ok, and drop the Mister shit, I'm your producer, call me
whatever you want." I smiled.
	"Sure."
"By the way Aaron, I was wondering if you'd like to accompany me to
dinner while we discussed this contract." I suppressed a loud laugh in my
throat as I squeaked out a shy,
"Yeah, I'd like that." He laughed again. It sounded to me as if he
had been smoking, it was a phlegm-like laugh, the kind of laugh I made when
I woke up in the morning after a wild night of coke snorting.
"Ok, cool, I'll send a car for you at six. Later." I heard the
phone click as I fell back onto the bed. The doorbell rang. Still in my
star-struck stupor, I drifted into the front hall of the suite to answer
it. A tall woman with big black hair puffed out around her head like a
hallo burst through the doorway and embraced me.
"Oh my god! TORI!" We hugged as the bellboy deposited her luggage
by the door. Tori spread out her arms and threw her head back, loudly
proclaiming,
"It is I, the great and wonderful Victoria Weston!" I smiled widely
as she laughed heartily. It had been a long time since I had seen Tori this
happy when she wasn't high. It gave me a warm feeling all over. Tori's
happiness was extremely intoxicating.
"Tori, what are you doing here?" I inquired, still surprised to see
her. A conspiratorial smile formed on her lips.
"Well, Alex asked me to come down here and record some backing
tracks for your album." I was once again completely lost.
"Alex? Tori you act like you know him."
"But Aaron dear, I DO! I met him last year when I had that job
assisting Sophie down in Miami." My eyes practically crossed.
	"Oh, I see."
"Yeah, well, I was actually the one who introduced your agent to
Alex." My mouth dropped open.
"VICTORIA YOU ABSOLUTE DOLL!" I screamed in delight. She smiled,
"I thought you'd like it." Tori grabbed my arm, "But we'll talk
later, right now we gotta get ready for dinner with Alex."
	"Oh, you're coming?"
"Yeah, he asked me last night; and of course Jay Cee will be
there." I nodded; Jay Cee was my agent. Tori steered me into my room. I was
still in a daze with the occuring events. Tori twinkled her fingers at me
before she disappeared behind the bathroom door with a little giggle. I
smiled. I actually felt happy. Cocaine was the furthest thing from my mind
as I unpacked my luggage.
