Westlife Romance - Part 36

"Oh yeah, that's it, Kian," Derek moaned. "Take my cock, you pathetic
slut!!" Derek grabbed Kian's head and thrust his cock in and out of his
mouth. There was no passion, there was no love. It was pure lust on
Derek's part and pure humiliation on Kian's part. But this time wasn't as
painful as the first time. After all, he's had so much practice since that
fateful night that he's gotten used to it - physically anyways.
Emotionally, Kian was hurting more than ever before, being subjected to such
degradation. But deep down, Kian told himself that he deserved it. He
deserved every bit of this. Even if he suffered a hundred times more, a
thousand times more, it will never compensate for the pain and suffering
that he's caused. It'll never repair the damage that he inflicted on the
one person he really loved - Nicky. And now, he's added Bryan to the list
of people he's hurt. Kian no longer resisted, knowing that this was the
only way in which he could even attempt to repay his past wrongs. He
resigned himself to his fate, knowing that this would be a part of his life
from now on. And when Derek was done, he pushed Kian off of the bed. "Get
dressed and get out, Kian," Derek ordered coldly. Quietly and obediently,
Kian did as he was told. He hurried back to his room and locked himself
inside. For the next hour, he washed himself in the shower, trying to make
himself "clean" again. He had forgotten how to cry. No tears would fall
even if he tried. All he could ask was, "How did I end up like this?"

Finally, he decided to dry himself. He put on some clothes and walked into
the bedroom. He froze in his footsteps as he saw Nicky sitting by his bed.
Nicky wasn't angry and he wasn't crying. He was smiling at him. This was
the same smile that drew Kian to Nicky when they first started going out.
Kian excitedly walked over to the bed, eager to apologize to Nicky and hope
for a chance to start over. As he reached the bed, Nicky began to fade.
Desperately, Kian reached out to hold on to the love of his life. But it
was useless. He was alone in his room again. Even though he didn't try
this time, he could feel tears falling.

Kian collapsed on the bed and pounded it in frustration. He finally
realized that only Nicky could have this effect on him. Nicky was the only
one that he loved. But it was too late. Much too late. "Oh Nicky...I miss
you so much," he whimpered and sobbed. "I miss you so much..."

Bryan finally calmed down enough to return to his room. Despite this, he
harboured so much anger and hatred inside him. He had thoroughly convinced
himself that Kian was to blame for this and that he will never forgive him.
He wondered how he'll ever be able to work with Kian again, but he knew that
for the time being, he had little choice. His thoughts soon turned to
Nicky. He thought about all the times Nicky made him laugh, all the times
Nicky comforted him when he was down, and all the times Nicky covered for
him when he messed up. But that was the old Nicky...the Nicky that he
looked up to and the Nicky that he loved. "I'm going to get the real Nicky
back even if it kills me," he vowed. Despite his determination, a small
part of him told him that he was just kidding himself, that in fact, he was
losing Nicky fast.

His thoughts were interrupted by a knock. He quickly jumped up and raced to
the door. "Nic...Oh, it's you, Shane..." Bryan said with obvious
disappointment.

"Well, it's always good to know that I'm wanted," Shane smiled, trying to
lighten up the atmosphere.

"I'm sorry, Shane. I didn't mean to be rude," Bryan apologize, ashamed of
what he just did.

"No worries, Bry, I was just teasing you," Shane answered with a smile. He
walked in and sat in the bed that used to belong to Nicky while Bryan sat on
his own bed. "So you doing ok?" Shane finally asked.

"Yeah, of course," Bryan grinned, hoping to get Shane to believe him. "So
when are you lads heading down to the party? I hear there'll be some pretty
cute chicks there tonight!!"

Shane groaned. "Not you too, Bryan."

"What?" Bryan asked with an innocent look.

"Look, Bryan. We already have one lad in denial. We don't need a second."

"What are you talking about?"

"Bryan. I know what happened with Nicky is tearing you up. Don't tell me
that everything is okay. You and I both know it's not."

"Fine," Bryan answered. "It's true. I hate what's happening. Nicky
doesn't deserve this, Shane. I just wish it happened to me instead!!"

"Don't say things like that!" Shane interrupted. "I don't think I can take
another crisis, Bryan. You can't give up now, Bryan. Not now!!"

"I'm sorry, Shane," Bryan answered softly. "I'm just so scared. What if we
never get him back?"

"We will get him back, Bryan. Believe me, okay?"

Bryan relented and nodded. He really wanted to believe Shane and told
himself that Shane would know what to do.

"You really love him, don't you?" Shane asked after a moment of silence.

Bryan was lost in his own thoughts that he didn't hear the entire question.
"What was that?"

"I said, you really love Nicky, don't you?"

"I never said that," Bryan answered, trying to avoid the subject.

"I never said you did. You don't need to say it, Bryan. It's so obvious."

"What are you talking about?"

"Bryan," Shane explained. "In all the years I've known you, I've never seen
you so upset about anyone. I've never seen you shed so many tears. And
I've never seen you get yelled at by someone like you did by Nicky today
without fighting back. No one can have so much power over you unless you're
in love with him."

"He doesn't love me..." Bryan answered softly. "He loves Kian, Shane. Kian
is his world."

Shane pulled Bryan into a hug, not wanting to upset his bandmate anymore.
"Well, you better get ready for the party, Bryan. You've only got 45
minutes."

"What???" Bryan shot up from his bed. "45 minutes??? I can't get ready to
go out in public in 45 minutes!!!"

"Well, you better hurry, Bryan, the clock is ticking..."

With that, Bryan ran into the bathroom to get ready with a renewed sense of
hope in him.

The ballroom was packed with people this night. All the major players in
the industry were on hand tonight in addition to other important guests.
Shane was the first of the lads to arrive in the ballroom as he mingled with
the guests. He knew how important this party was to the future of Westlife
in America, and he did his best to make sure the group left a good
impression.

Mark and Kian arrived together and they too went to work with the guests.
Kian had wanted to skip the party but Mark convinced him to come. After
all, this party could make or break Westlife's chances in the States. After
lots of persuasion, Kian reluctantly agreed to come, knowing that he
couldn't sacrifice the future of the group for his own personal convenience.

Kian tried his best to put on his charm and he did a good job, fooling
nearly everyone except those who knew him well. As he talked, though, he
couldn't get his mind off of Nicky.

About fifteen minutes later, Bryan entered the ballroom, dressed in a smart
grey suit. He turned a few heads, especially from the younger guests.
Immediately, he was surrounded by many female guests who were eager to get
to know him better. Shane kept an eye on Bryan as he mingled, wanting to
make sure Bryan was okay. Mark did the same, feeling that somehow he had to
protect Bryan from the pressure that he was facing.

"So there are five of you in the group, right?" asked a middle-aged man, who
introduced himself as the director of major radio station in the region.

"That's right," Bryan answered. "There's Shane talking over there. And
Kian is over by the piano. Mark is the one with the black suit..."

"And the fifth member?" the man asked.

Bryan looked all around the room for Nicky but couldn't find any sign of
him. "I can't seem to locate Nicky. He must be mingling with the guests."
Bryan again thought of Nicky and how he probably decided to stay in his room
and not come to the party.

A few minutes later, the ballroom door open slowly and in walked Nicky, who
looked simply stunning tonight. Nicky's entrance caught the attention of
many guests, but none more so than Kian. As Kian turned to see Nicky enter,
his mouth dropped open and he nearly dropped his glass of champagne. There,
across the room, was Nicky - his Nicky - chatting with the guests. His
sweet smile, his soft hair, his angelic face. Kian had never seen Nicky
more beautiful than he did tonight. And then it hit him. Nicky was what he
so foolishly gave up for Derek. For the high price that he paid, all he got
in return was misery and pain. "I've been such a stupid fool," Kian
whispered as a single tear fell.

...to be continued....
