X-Sync – The DarkChilde Saga
Chapter 3-17

// Orlando, FL – X-Sync Headquarters //

“Where are Britney, Venus and Christina?”  JT asked, getting up from the
spot he was in.

“They are in the infirmary.”  Lance spoke, walking over to JT.

“What happened to those girls?”  JT asked, running towards the wall as he
phased through it.

“I will never get used to him doing that.”   Kevin stated, getting up as he
and the others walked towards the elevators on the way to the infirmary.

// The Infirmary //

“Hi girls.”  JT spoke, appearing in the infirmary next to Christina’s bed.
“Looks like you all lost the fight.”

“What happened to you Psion?”  Christina asked.

“I’m sorry Cell, I tried to stop the demons on my end and we were shifted to
some strange place.”  JT spoke, leaning down to hug her.  “I should have
been here to protect you all.  You were helping me and I wasn’t even here to
help you.”

“We are not hurt that badly.”  Britney stated, sitting up.

“Not from what I see.  You all look like hell.”  JT spoke, as Britney opened
her eyes and accidentally projected her powers at him, barely missing.
“Psion I wasn’t aiming at you.”  Britney stated.

“I know, you still don’t have the hang of that yet.”  JT stated.  “Just hang
around here for awhile and I guarantee that you will learn.”

“Do you really think you can train me to use my powers without killing
someone?”  Britney asked.

“I am quite sure I can.  If I can’t train you, I can always block those
powers from you being able to use them.”  JT spoke as his eyes started
glowing.

“I don’t think that’s necessary.”  Britney spoke, putting her hands up.

“Now you do realize that I am psychic, your hands can’t stop me.”  JT
stated, laughing as the guys came in.

“Now that you are back, can you explain to all of us what’s going on with
the world?”  Chris asked, sitting in one of the chairs.

“I don’t know what’s going on Chris, what makes you think I do?”  JT asked,
walking over to him, grabbing him with his telekinetic power and lifting him
into the air.  “Come on Chris tell me.”

“Psion please put him down.”  JC spoke.

“Step back JC, I don’t think you want to join him in this.”  JT stated,
slamming Chris up against the ceiling and leaving him there.

“Psion let me down!”  Chris screamed from the ceiling.

“You will fall down eventually.” JT spoke, returning to his spot next to
Britney.

= Unknown mutant detected on grounds. =

“Viewscreen on.”  JT stated, walking over to the monitor that was in the
room.

“Who is that?”  Tigersbane asked, walking up behind JT.

“I don’t know.”  JT stated.

“I do.”  Nick spoke, looking closer at the screen.  “That looks like D.”

“D?  Why would he be here?”  Kevin asked.  “Has anyone had any contact with
him?”

“No, haven’t heard from him since me and Brian got married.”  Nick spoke.

“Well he’s here.  What about you Alex, you talked to him?”  Kevin asked.

“No, I thought he went back to New York.”  AJ stated as the room started
shaking.

“What the hell is that?  Computer, what is causing the seismic
 disturbances?”  JT asked.

= Disturbances are being generated by unknown mutant detected outside. =

“Come on people let’s move.”  JT stated, levitating now.  “Girls stay here,
everyone else come on.”

“What about me?”  Tigersbane asked.

“You can stay here and keep an eye on them.”  JT stated as he faded away.

// Outside //

“What do you think you are doing?”  JT asked, appearing above the man.

“Where are they?”  The man asked, creating another tremor.

“Who are you looking for?”  JT asked, raising his hand as a bolt of
lightning came down from the clouds and struck in the place the man was
standing in.

“What the hell!”  The man screamed.  “You threw lighting at me!”

“And I will do it again.”  JT stated, flying behind the man as he started
running.

“That’s right guy follow me, I have something for you.”  The man spoke to
himself as he kept running and JT got closer to him.

“I don’t care how fast you run, you won’t escape me!”  JT screamed as a
tidal wave of dirt came tumbling down on him, knocking him to the ground.

“That should teach you to mess around with someone that can control the
ground you walk on and everyone and everything around.”  The man spoke, as
JC, Justin and Lance got outside.

“Psion!  Psion!  Where are you?”  Justin called out, floating above the
house.

“If you’re looking for the black guy, he’s dead!”  The man spoke.  “I’ve
already had his funeral and buried him alive!”

“Psion!  Psion speak to me baby, I know you hear me calling you!”  Justin
called out, floating down now.

“I just told you he’s dead, he’s not coming back!”  The man laughed as
Kevin, Brian and Nick got outside.

“D is that you?”  Nick asked, walking slowly towards the man.

“Finally you show your face.  I’ve been waiting a long time for this.”  The
man stated, raising his hands, and motioning like he was slamming a door as
Nick was thrown across the ground, landing up against the exterior wall of
the house.

“Howie what are you doing man?”  Brian asked, flying towards the man and
getting knocked down the same way Nick was.

“Look D what’s the problem man, why are you doing this?”  Kevin asked,
stepping away from the man.

“I came to punish you all for your sins.”  The man identified as Howie.

“Punish us for what?”  Kevin asked as Nick and Brian stood behind him.

“This, all of this.”  Howie stated, waving his hands around as everything
started shaking.  “If it wasn’t for you, I wouldn’t be a fucking freak!”

“D we are all the same, you have powers, we have powers too, you are not
alone in this.”  Brian spoke.

“Where’s Psion!”  Justin screamed, floating before Howie with one of his
patented energy spheres in his hand.

“Look around Justin, I know that’s you under that mask.  Your friend is
under here.”  Howie stated, tapping his foot on the ground.  “He’s dead, I
buried him under the ground under tons and tons of dirt.”

“You did what!”  Justin hollered, flying towards Howie, getting the same
treatment Brian and Nick got earlier.

“No!  No!  Psion, Psion, I know you can hear me, you’re psychic, please
answer me!”  Justin stated, using his powers to push everyone out of his way
as he started telekinetically moving the dirt, trying to get to Psion.

“He’s been under there for a while now.  He’s dead.”  Howie spoke, laughing
again.

“He’s not dead, he probably moved before you were able to attack him.”
Justin stated.

“I doubt that, he didn’t know what happened until it was too late.  He’s
dead.”  Howie stated.

“He’s telling the truth, JT is dead.”  JC stated.  “I know longer can sense
his brainwave patterns and his body is under there.”

“What!  Nooooo!”  Justin screamed, tears streaming down his face as JC
hugged him.

“Why did you do it?”  JC asked.

“He tried to kill me, so I killed him first.”  Howie spoke, turning around,
just as he raised his hands again causing everything to start shaking.
“When I am done, all of you will join him.”

(<Blink>)

“I don’t think so buddy!”  They heard the voice of a woman say.  “You have
caused enough drama for one time, I think it’s time for you to take a time
out.”

“He’s dead, he’s dead.  Psion’s dead.”  Justin spoke, crying on JC’s
shoulder.

“There there my child, everything will be okay.”  The woman spoke, touching
Justin on his shoulder, instantly calming him down as he fell asleep.

“Who are you?”  JC asked as Lance, Kevin, Brian, Nick and Tigersbane, who
just walked outside, starred at her in awe.

“I will tell you all in due time, but first, we need to get the DarkChilde
back to where he belongs.”  The woman spoke, tapping the ground with the
staff she had in her hand.

“The DarkChilde, who’s that?”  JC asked, looking at the woman strangely.

“Quiet child.”  The woman spoke.

The woman floated into the air and raised her staff to the sky.  The staff
began to glow and the ground beneath them opened up.  With the ground open,
JT’s body floated up to the woman.  With another wave of her staff, JT’s
body started glowing, then he screamed.

“What’s going on?”  Kevin asked, as they all looked on at the scene in front
of them.

“I can breathe!”  JT screamed out, as his body started to glow more now,
changing his costume into something that looked like royal attire as the
glow surrounding his body increased.

“Psion, Psion are you okay?”  JC asked, as he floated himself and Justin
closer to what was going on.

“That guy he hurt me!”  JT yelled out, changing his body into pure light and
aiming himself at the body of Howie that was frozen in place.

“No child you can’t do that, I won’t let you.”  The woman stated, waving her
hand as JT froze in place too.

“JT?  JT?  What happened to JT?”  JC asked, looking at the woman.

“I froze him in place, he is unharmed, I am just keeping him from causing an
unspeakable disaster.”  The woman spoke as the ground started shaking again.

“Okay did you do that?”  JC asked, looking at the woman.  “Or did Howie do
it?”

“No and no.”  The woman spoke, as her staff stopped glowing and she started
falling to the ground.

“I got you.”  JC stated, creating a telekinetic bubble around the woman.  “I
need to get us all to the ground.”

“That sounds like a good idea my child.”  The woman spoke, as Tigersbane
approached them.

“I know you, I know you from somewhere.”  Tigersbane stated, looking at the
woman strangely.

“I don’t know child, maybe you do, maybe you don’t.”  The woman spoke.

“Who are you lady?”  JC asked floating them all back into the building.

“My name is Hephzibah.”  The woman spoke.

“Hephzibah, as in the Guardian Hephzibah?”  Tigersbane asked.

“No child, just Hephzibah.”  The woman spoke.

“Okay, so why are you here?”  Lance asked, sitting at the table.

“Computer surround the unknown mutant within a stasis field.”  JC stated, as
the woman waved her hand at JT and his body unfroze and he was back in his
human form.

“Are you okay?”  JC asked, looking at JT.

“I’m fine, but you all keep this guy away from me or I will kill him and
that’s a promise.”  JT spoke, walking out of the command room.
