Gordo's in love

"Oh my god Miranda, can you believe Gordo?" Lizzie and Miranda were
sitting at their usual lunch table, too caught up in their own
conversation to notice someone listen over their shoulder.

"Yeah, he has been acting weird the last few days! I wonder what's up
with him!" Miranda brushed her hair back, hitting someone standing behind
her.

"Yo! Wha's up ladies?" Ethan smiled his smile.

*Animated Lizzie: Ethan Craft just spoke to me! I think I'm going to
melt!"*

"I heard you talkin', and you see, its like this... your Gordo bro is in
love." Ethan gave a sly grin. Lizzie and Miranda then burst with
laughter.

"Gordo! In love! Yeah right! Gordo is like the Tin Man. I don't think
he's capable of love." Miranda brought her laughter under control and
wiped the tears out of her eyes.

"He's like a robot or something," Lizzie agreed.

"Well here he comes. You gals watch and see if you don't agree he's in
love." Ethan got up and walked away.

* Animated Lizzie: Yeah Gordo in love! Totally not going to
happen...right? *

At that moment Gordo sat, well sort of landed, beside Lizzie. He seemed
lost in thought. The girls looked at him trying to figure out what he was
thinking. Then he jolted up and looked around, resting his eyes on
someone at a far table... it was ETHAN! Gordo had this spacey look like
he was on some kind of drug as he stared at the tall handsome poster boy.

"Uh Miranda, can I talk to you alone for just a minute?" Lizzie dragged
Miranda away. Gordo was so fixed on Ethan that he didn't notice them
leaving.

"Miranda! Gordo is GAY!" Lizzie looked over at her love-struck friend.
"He's a homosexual!"


"Oh my god," said Miranda, "that explains so much! And he likes the same
guy you do," said Miranda. "Well at least now you have more in common
with him."

"Miranda!" Lizzie scolded.

"This could be a GOOD thing," Miranda continued. "Think about it, gay
guys are really good people to shop with. OH, maybe that's why he never
goes shopping with us, he's been afraid it would expose his inner gay
self. Now I can't believe we didn't see it before. I mean look at
him... Gordo's whole self practically screams "hey I'm gay."

There was no more time to talk as the bell rang ending lunchtime and the
students hustled to their next classes.

~ Science Class ~

Lizzie waved at Gordo, beckoning him to be her partner for lab, but she
was too slow. As soon as Gordo saw Ethan, Gordo sat beside him. Gordo
looked very happy, and so did Ethan!

*Animated Lizzie: I have to stop this by any means possible! Gordo can't
be gay. Then again, Maybe Miranda's right. And Ethan... well maybe HE IS
gay, Maybe. That would explain a lot, like why Ethan's never wanted a
real date with me.

~ After school ~

"Gordo, wait a minute!" Lizzie called. Gordo waited.

"I know your secret." Lizzie faced Gordo with a worried look in her eyes.

"What? How? Oh no, I thought we were so careful! How did you find out?"
Now it was Gordo's turn to look worried.

*Animated Lizzie: `Careful'? Try `obvious.'*

"Well it's the way you look at Ethan. Miranda was not surprised. She
said she suspected it all along. How deep in it are you? I mean, have you
and Ethan had sex yet?"

"Well not yet, but we both want to try it."

"Oh Gordo!" Lizzie's lips pressed hard against his in an awkward kiss.
Then Lizzie pulled away leaving Gordo momentarily confused.

Animated Gordo: I never knew Lizzie liked me. If I had, maybe -- "Please
tell me you felt something!" Lizzie interrupted Gordo's thoughts.

"Sorry, it's too late, Lizzie. All those times I wanted you, but you
wouldn't see it. You wanted only Ethan, even though he ignored you, like
you've ignored me. I wondered what you saw in the guy, then I saw it, I
guess. And Lizzie, Ethan wants me as much as I want him."

"No!" screamed Lizzie. "In one day I loose by best friend AND the love of
my life? What's next? I find out Kate's a lesbian?"

"Well, now that you mention it, Ethan and I caught her and Claire making
out in the same hideaway we wanted to use!"

"Whoa! Can you get pictures?"

"Can Gordo the up-and-coming movie mogul get pictures? Done! But I won't
use them unless Kate tries to expose and hurt Ethan."

"Rats!" said Lizzie. "For a moment I thought at least something good
would come out of this."

"Good HAS come out of it, for me, and for Ethan. We've each finally
found someone that makes us feel complete."
