Washington Academy Chapter 23 Athletic Supremacy

The important Friday evening in December finally arrived for the cadets of
the George Washington Academy. The football team along with the coaching
staff and trainers were staying in the Holidome near Pontiac, Michigan, and
the team had been practicing in the empty Pontiac Silverdome for two days.
The cadets were awestruck when they saw how large the Silverdome was for the
first time, and were excited about playing Saginaw Central High School for
the Class A State Championship in football. The Saginaw Central Sentinels
were the defending State Champions, and were favored to repeat their
accomplishment, but they had never faced a team like the Washington Academy
Eagles.

Tom Devlin was the lead commentator for ESPN2, and was joined in the
broadcast booth by Jarvis Vance, a running back with a great history at
Notre Dame and the Chicago Bears. The two men welcomed the television
audience with their pre-game comments and predictions. ESPN had been
broadcasting the finals in the State Championship Series for the past 10
years, and it was a very popular program with Michigan residents.

"Welcome to the Pontiac Silverdome where we're anticipating an exciting
football game pitting the Sentinels of Saginaw Central High School against
the Eagles of the George Washington Academy!" Tom Devlin announced at the
beginning of the broadcast. "With me is a man who needs no introduction,
Jarvis Vance, the two-time All American running back from Notre Dame, and
three time winner of the NFL rushing trophy when he played for the Chicago
Bears. Jarvis and I are happy to be broadcasting the last game of the State
Championship Series, and we're closing out our coverage with the Class A
Championship Game tonight here at the Pontiac Silverdome. The Class A High
Schools have the largest numbers of students and because of that, they
generally have the better teams. The George Washington Academy from
Traverse City should be in Class C or Class B based on the number of
students, but Vincent Brown, the Chancellor, elected to have his athletic
teams compete at the Class A level. Jarvis, how do these two teams compare,
and which team do you think will win this game and take home the State
Championship trophy?"

"Tom it's always a pleasure to work with you in televising important
athletic competition for ESPN2," Jarvis began. "The state of Michigan has
produced some of the finest athletes in the nation, and tonight we're going
to see a super star named Andrew Anderson. Anderson is 6 feet 4 inches
tall, weighs 235 pounds, and has been voted the Number 1 High School
quarterback in the entire nation! Every major college has been recruiting
him, but we recently heard that he has signed a letter of intent to attend
Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan. Anderson is a triple
threat when he's on the field. His ability to call audible plays at the
line of scrimmage will certainly challenge the Sentinel defense, but his
accuracy at passing the football is his most dangerous weapon, and we can't
forget his running abilities. Anderson has led his team to an undefeated
season and the Number 1 ranking in the state, and that has upset the Saginaw
Central High School team that won the championship last year. Saginaw is
ranked Number 2, and will try to stop Anderson from following the game plans
of Guy Stephens, the best high school football coach in the state and
possibly the country."

"Anderson has a talented group of receivers, led by senior Gardner Jackson,
and two talented freshmen, Jonathan Bluestone and Carson Smith," Tom Devlin
added. "Jackson is a speedster from Little Rock, Arkansas who has also
received All-American honors, and will be moving to Louisiana next year to
play for the LSU Tigers. Carson Smith is the second leading receiver on the
Eagles football team, and is a very unique young man. Smith is deaf and
mute, but that hasn't stopped him from becoming one of the best receivers in
the state!"

"I talked to Coach Guy Stephens about his underclassmen, and he said that
Carson Smith might be the best receiver to ever play for the Eagles football
team!" Jarvis Vance said. "Stephens said that the cadets have learned basic
sign language to communicate with Carson Smith, and the results have been
dramatic. Even the fans in the stands will show their appreciation for
Carson Smith by holding their hands above their heads and waving in the
accepted way of cheering for a deaf athlete."

"Another important target for passes from Andrew Anderson is freshman
Jonathan Bluestone," Tom Devlin said. "It's funny to hear about Jacob and
Jonathan Bluestone and their nicknames, Jake and Elwood, just like John
Belushi and Dan Akroyd in the classic movie, 'The Blues Brothers'. The
identical twins are 6 feet 10 inches tall, weigh 260 pounds each, and are
talented athletes in football and basketball. Jonathan, or Elwood, plays
tight end, and is nearly impossible for a small defensive back to cover.
Jake is a demon at the right defensive end position, and is often joined by
Elwood at the left defensive end position to defend against running plays."

"Some people think that the Saginaw team will repeat as State Champions, but
I don't agree," Jarvis Vance said. "No team has been able to stop Andrew
Anderson this year, and the closest score for the Eagles was 28 to 14
against the Walker Rangers in a night filled with torrential rain storms.
Other than that game, Anderson has piled up the yards and touchdowns, and
normally doesn't play in the 4th quarter. Second-string quarterback,
Tracker Whitestone comes in and the team responds like Anderson was still in
the game. Whitestone is a full-blooded Cherokee and has the nickname of
'Spear Chucker' from his teammates for his ability to throw precision
passes. Whitestone will be the starting quarterback after Anderson
graduates, and Guy Stephens will continue to dominate High School football
in the State of Michigan."

"We've concentrated on the passing part of the Eagles' attack, but we
haven't talked about the rushing talents," Tom Devlin announced. "The
Number 1 rusher on the Eagles team is Darian Thomas, a talented freshman
from the State of Louisiana. Because of the residential program at the
George Washington Academy, they have cadets from every state in the United
States and many foreign countries. Thomas is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs
185 pounds, and runs like his idol, Barry Sanders, the former star of the
Detroit Lions. The Eagles have a balanced attack that no team has been able
to control this year."

"The Number 2 rusher on the Eagles team is the quarterback, Andrew
Anderson," Jarvis said. "Anderson has amazing strength and durability, and
opponents shudder in fear when he keeps the ball and runs. Anderson is the
complete package at quarterback and we're happy to broadcast the last
football game of his stellar career."

"It's interesting to note that Andrew Anderson plays forward on the Eagles
basketball team and pitcher on their baseball team," Tom Devlin added.
"Michigan State is getting a fantastic athlete who also ranks Number One in
academic standing among the seniors at the George Washington Academy."

"We haven't talked about the defensive unit for the Eagles, coached by
Derrick Harmon," Jarvis announced. "Coach Harmon just happens to be the
uncle of Jonathan and Jacob Bluestone, and moves from Assistant Coach for
football to Head Coach for basketball. Derrick Harmon said this is the best
defensive unit that he's ever coached, and the season statistics support
that comment. The Eagles have won 14 games during the regular season and
the playoffs, and 8 of those games were shutouts, with the opponents unable
to score even a field goal of 3 points."

"Keith Philips is a senior this year and has accepted a football scholarship
to play for the USC Trojans," Tom Devlin said. "Philips moved to defensive
tackle last year and is rated as the top high school lineman in the nation.
Coach Harmon has two defensive backs that are both listed as All-State
performers and one has received national attention. Thomas Kosmanski is a
senior and calls most of the defensive signals for the Eagles, and he's got
Robert Mathews, a sophomore, at free safety to shut down the passing game of
the opponents. Kosmanski has been named to both the All-State and High
School All-American teams along with Philips, Anderson, and Jackson, and
Mathews got a rare nod as an All State defensive back, even though he's only
a sophomore."

"The Eagles are a team of super stars that any coach in the nation would
love to have," Jarvis added. "Even though the Saginaw Central team is the
defending State Champion, I predict a victory for the George Washington
Academy in this vital game tonight."

"We'll be right back with our analysis of the Saginaw Central High School
team after this short commercial break," Tom Devlin announced.

After the commercial break, the two commentators identified the main players
for the Saginaw Central High School team. Many people believed that the
Saginaw team would repeat as State Champions, primarily because they had
only lost two of the starters on the championship team to graduation.

David and Marie Mathews were in the stands with the other fans of the
Academy Eagles and joined in the excitement of seeing the cadets play for
the State Championship at the Pontiac Silverdome. Their friendship with Tom
and Carol Anderson was growing stronger from the relationship between Drew
and Robbie, and the budding romance between Robbie and Jennifer. Jennifer
was excited about attending the game and hoped that Drew and Robbie played
great and would be celebrating a victory that evening.

The parents of the cadets were enjoying the opportunity to renew their
friendships with other parents while they waited for the start of the
important football game. It was the 100th year for the George Washington
Academy, and they hoped that it would be a year of championships. The crowd
included many dignitaries who had graduated from the Academy, including
high-ranking military officers, Senators and Congressmen.

"Andrew Anderson is the captain of the George Washington Academy football
team, and he's joined at mid-field with the four co-captains of the Saginaw
Central High School team and the referee for the coin toss," Tom Devlin
announced to the television audience.

"The Eagles won the coin toss and have elected to receive the opening
kickoff," Jarvis Vance announced. "I expect the Eagles to come out passing
to open up the running game for Darrian Thomas."

The opening kickoff was downed in the end zone, and the Eagles had a first
and 10 from their own 20-yard line.

"Anderson takes the snap and hands off to Darrian Thomas!" Tom Devlin
announced. "Thomas has a hole and picks up 12 yards before he's tackled at
the 32-yard line by Duane Wade. It's a first down for the Academy Eagles!"

"Thomas made two tacklers miss before he broke into the defensive backfield
for a pickup of 12 yards on that play," Jarvis Vance added. "Thomas
idolizes Barry Sanders, and his hero would be proud to make a run like that
last one!"

"Anderson takes the snap and drops back to pass," Tom Devlin announced.
"He's got plenty of time and he launches a bomb to Carson Smith who's wide
open! No one's gonna catch Carson Smith, and he's taking it into the end
zone for the first touchdown of the game!"

"That was a beautiful fake by Anderson, and the pass was perfect to Carson
Smith!" Jarvis Vance added. "Smith didn't miss a step to catch that pass
and easily took it into the end zone for a 68 yard touchdown. We didn't
have to wait long to see the talent of Andrew Anderson and his precision
passing abilities, along with the speed and catching ability of the freshman
receiver!"

"The Eagle fans are standing with their open hands waving over their heads
in the recognized way to cheer for deaf people!" Tom Devlin announced.
"Carson Smith is deaf and mute, and his teammates and fans know how to show
their appreciation for his touchdown catch."

Carson Smith ran to the sidelines where his teammates were waiting for him
and he jumped into the arms of Keith Philips. Tears of joy streamed down
his face while Keith held him up and turned him around to see the crowd
cheering for him.

"We'll take a quick commercial break and will be back before the kickoff,
with the Eagles leading the Sentinels by a score of 7 to 0," Tom Devlin
announced.

After the commercial ended, the commentators showed the replay of the
touchdown pass and added their praise of the offensive line for giving
Andrew Anderson time to find his receiver and complete the long pass.

"The Sentinels will start on their own 20-yard line after that kick went out
of the end zone," Tom Devlin said. "What do you think the Sentinels will do
to answer that long bomb from Andrew Anderson to Carson Smith?"

"The Sentinels have an excellent quarterback in Scott McClellan and a great
receiver in senior Jim Axleson," Jarvis Vance replied. "I think the
Sentinels will try to answer quickly to get back into this game."

"The Sentinels come up to the line of scrimmage with Axleson split out wide
to the right," Tom Devlin announced. "McClellan calls an audible and shifts
into the 'shotgun' formation. Here's the snap and McClellan's going to
throw on his first offensive play of the game! He throws to Axleson out in
the flat, and IT'S PICKED OFF!!"

"Robert Mathews cut in front of Jim Axleson and took that ball away!" Jarvis
Vance added. "Mathews never slowed down and was in the end zone before any
of the Sentinels players had a chance to stop him! We told you before this
game started that Thomas Kosmanski and Robert Mathews were both outstanding
athletes and you just saw why Mathews was voted into the All State team!
The Eagle fans are screaming their approval, and the score is now, Eagles
13, Sentinels 0, with the extra point attempt coming right up!"

Robbie was so excited that he had intercepted the pass and scored a
touchdown! His teammates swarmed over him in the end zone; Keith Philips
picked him up and turned him around to accept the cheers of the Eagle fans.
When Robbie got back to his teammates on the sidelines, Guy Stephens pushed
through the players to give Robbie a hug and words of praise.

"That's my boy!" David Mathews screamed to the other fans in the bleachers.
He exchanged "high fives" with Tom Anderson and the other fathers
celebrating in the crowd.

The game progressed with the Academy Eagles dominating by a score of 28 to 0
with only 2 minutes left in the first half. Tom Kosmanski had intercepted a
pass at the Eagles' 35-yard line, and the offensive unit went back on the
field.

"That was a spectacular interception by Thomas Kosmanski," Jarvis Vance
announced. "He had Jim Axleson covered like a blanket and went up and took
the ball away to end the best drive of the game for the Saginaw Central
Sentinels."

"The Sentinels are in deep trouble in this game, and could have been down 42
to nothing right now," Tom Devlin began. "A fumble by Darrian Thomas at the
Sentinels 15-yard line stopped one scoring drive, and another fumble by
Carson Smith at the Sentinels 10-yard line stopped the other. Without those
two fumbles, the Eagles would have a commanding lead of 42 to 0."

"TRACKER'S GOING IN!!" Hunter Whitestone screamed. "MY BROTHER'S GONNA
PLAY!!"

"Would Stevens really try it?" Tom Anderson asked David Mathews.

"Guy's always full of surprises, so let's see if Saginaw watched all of our
game films!" David Mathews replied.

"Anderson brings his team to the line with two receivers split out wide,"
Jarvis Vance announced.

"Carson Smith is split wide to the right, and Tracker Whitestone's split
wide to the left," Tom Devlin announced. "Whitestone's listed as the backup
quarterback and wide receiver. Guy Stephens might try something special on
this play."

"Anderson drops back to pass!" Jarvis Vance announced. "It's an 'end
around' and he hands off to Whitestone! Whitestone is going to be tackled
by the Sentinels!"

"Whitestone stops and throws a perfect pass to a wide open Andrew Anderson
at the Sentinels' 30-yard line!" Tom Devlin added. "Anderson was wide open
and streaks into the end zone for another Eagles touchdown! What a
beautiful play!"

"Tracker Whitestone's a talented quarterback, and he just showed the
television audience how accurate his passes can be!" Jarvis Vance said.
"The Sentinels expected the Eagles to run the ball, but Guy Stephens pulled
a trick play out of his pocket and burned them!"

"THAT'S MY BROTHER!" Hunter Whitestone screamed. He was jumping around and
accepting congratulations from all of the Eagles fans in the stands. His
dream had come true by traveling to Michigan to see his brother and Robbie
play in this important and exciting football game, and now his brother was a
star!

"Guy has the Sentinels by the balls!" David Mathews said to Tom Anderson.
"He'll probably pull Drew out of the game in the second half to hold down
the score, because this game is virtually over!"

"If anyone wondered why Andrew Anderson was selected as the best high school
quarterback in the nation, they now have seen the proof!" Tom Devlin
announced. "With less than a minute left in the first half, the Eagles have
a commanding lead of 35 to nothing!"

"I picked the Eagles to win this game tonight, but I never expected a
blowout!" Jarvis Vance added. "The Eagles have scored at will and have
throttled the Sentinels offense! Andrew Anderson could start for any
college team in this nation, and I'm thrilled to be here tonight to witness
his performance."

"Guy Stephens won't run up a big score on the Sentinels, and I expect to see
Tracker Whitestone and the second string offensive players on the field
during the second half," Tom Devlin added. "We'll be right back with
highlights from the first half of this State Championship game, with the
score, Washington Academy Eagles 35, Saginaw Central Sentinels 0."

During half time, the spectators watched the highlight films of the first
half action on the large screen monitors at each end of the Silverdome. The
Eagle fans cheered wildly when they relived the excitement of the first
half, but the Sentinel fans were nearly silent. The Saginaw fans knew that
their team was doomed to defeat, and some of them left the stadium to travel
home.

Judy Tremaine stopped Guy Stephens before he got out on the playing field
before the start of the second half of the game, and asked him for a brief
interview. Guy was thrilled with the performance of his football team, and
was confident that his players would win the coveted State Championship.

"I see that Judy Tremaine has Guy Stephens down on the sideline," Tom Devlin
announced to the television audience. "Let's hear what Coach Stephens has
to say about the way his team is dominating the defending State Champions!"

"Guy Stephens, your team has blown the Sentinels off the playing field,"
Judy began. "How do you explain the success of your players, and what can
we expect in the second half of this championship game?"

"Well Judy, Derrick Harmon and I put together the game plan after watching
game films of the Sentinels, and so far our plan is working!" Guy Stephens
replied. "Andrew Anderson's a fantastic athlete, extremely intelligent
cadet, and a natural leader. During the second quarter, we let Drew call
the plays and even switch players, and you saw the results. He had perfect
scores on the A.C.T. and S.A.T. college entrance tests, and had academic
scholarship offers from Harvard, Yale, Princeton and all of the military
academies. I'm going to let Drew run the offense in the third quarter and
see what changes Tom Fisher makes with his team."

"Will we see Tracker Whitestone again before the 4th quarter?" Judy Tremaine
asked.

"Derrick and I will decide when to pull our starters," Guy replied. "We
scored 35 points in the first half, and they could do the same in the second
half of this game if we lose our focus. Our players are thrilled with the
score and how many dignitaries came here to support them during the 100th
year of the George Washington Academy. Last year we lost a tough game in
the District playoffs, and the players were determined to do better this
year. At the end of the 4th quarter, we'll know which team is the best in
the State!"

The second half of the game was a repeat of the first half. The Saginaw
team was frustrated by the Academy defensive unit, and was forced to punt
the football. Drew wasted no time in executing a perfect scoring drive that
was a mixture of short passes and runs by Darrian Thomas.

"We're seeing the finest football player in the whole country I believe!"
Tom Devlin announced to the television audience. "Andrew Anderson directed
a perfect touchdown drive of 75 yards that had the Saginaw Sentinels totally
confused. That 'keeper' play by Anderson fooled everyone and he was in the
end zone practically untouched! The Eagles now lead by a score of 42 to
nothing, and I bet we've seen the last of Andrew Anderson for the rest of
this game!"

"I just witnessed the finest football player anywhere proving why he's in
the running for the high school equivalent of the Heisman Trophy!" Jarvis
Vance added. "Anderson gets my vote for Player of the Year!"

Later in the 3rd quarter, the Eagles stopped the Sentinels again and the
offense took the field. Guy Stephens had a plan to give his first string
offensive players the recognition that they deserved from the sellout crowd.

"With 2 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, I'm surprised to see Andrew
Anderson and the first string players heading out on the field," Tom Devlin
announced. "It looks like Guy Stephens wants more scoring from his talented
starters!"

"The Eagles are starting on their own 18-yard line after that punt went out
of bounds," Jarvis Vance added. "Let's see what Anderson has planned for
his talented team!"

After Drew directed the team to a first down, Guy Stephens replaced the
entire offensive unit with the second string players. He called a time out
to allow the first string players time to leave the field and accept the
applause and cheers from the huge crowd.

"That was an act of sportsmanship!" Tom Devlin announced. "Coach Stephens
wanted his starters to be recognized by this huge crowd, and I admire him
for what he just did! This crowd is on their feet to recognize the finest
high school football team in the State of Michigan, and I join the fans in
applauding for the Eagles!"

During the 4th quarter, Tracker led the second and third string offense to
another touchdown, and the Eagles led by a score of 49 to nothing.

"This has got to be the longest 60 minutes of football in history for the
Saginaw Central High School Sentinels and their fans," Tom Devlin announced.
"Every Eagle player has been on the field, and the Sentinels have been
held scoreless. The Sentinels have a first down on the 20 yard line of the
Eagles, and they might finally find the end zone against the 3rd string
players."

"Defensive coach Derrick Harmon has put some of his 1st string players back
in the game to preserve the shutout!" Jarvis Vance announced. "This score
of 49 to nothing is the largest margin of victory for any Michigan High
School Championship Game, and only the 2nd shutout in the recorded history
of the series."

"With only 15 seconds left in the game, it looks like the Sentinels will try
to put 6 points on the scoreboard!" Tom Devlin said to the television
audience. "Scott McClellan has Jim Axleson split wide to the left in an
obvious pass situation. Here's the snap and McClellan's going to roll out
wide to the right! He stops and throws back across the field to Axelson in
the end zone! IT'S PICKED OFF!!"

"Robert Mathews cut in front of Jim Axleson and took that ball away, and
Mathews is headed for the other end zone with nobody chasing him!" Jarvis
Vance added. "He's gonna go all the way for an interception of over 100
yards!"

Robbie knew that the game was almost over, and ran for the end zone for
another touchdown. He was running along the sidelines in front of the
Saginaw team bench, and saw the desperation and agony on the faces of the
opposing team. Losing a football game was bad enough, but another touchdown
would be rubbing salt in the wounds of the players.

"This will be a 109 yard touchdown for Robert Mathews!" Tom Devlin
announced. "Mathews is all alone at the Sentinels' 45-yard line and nothing
will stop him from scoring!"

"I don't believe what I'm seeing!" Jarvis Vance added. "Robert Mathews is
slowing down and heading for the center of the playing field. He has
completely stopped and appears to be looking at the game clock. The game
clock has expired, but Mathews can still score the final touchdown of the
game!"

"Robert Mathews has put his knee down on the turf to end this play and the
most lopsided victory in the history of Michigan High School football!" Tom
Devlin announced. "Mathews could have set a new State Record with that
interception, but he chose to run out the clock and just threw the game ball
to Coach Guy Stephens!"

"That was a fantastic act of sportsmanship!" Jarvis Vance added. "Let's see
if Judy Tremaine can get Coach Stephens, Andrew Anderson and Robert Mathews
for a post game interview!"

"Can you believe what our boy just did?" David Mathews asked his wife. "He
could have been a hero by scoring another touchdown, but he didn't want to
humiliate the Saginaw team! I'm so proud of him that I want to scream!"

Marie Mathews agreed with David and accepted the congratulations of the fans
in the stands.

Guy Stephens held the game ball in the air and was carried to the center of
the field by two of his linemen. He wanted to hug Robbie for ending the
game and tossing him the football, but he knew that the television reporters
would want a live interview.

"Coach Stephens, your team totally dominated the defending State Champions
tonight!" Judy Tremaine began. "How can you explain this overwhelming
victory?"

"I'm the luckiest coach in the world right now!" Guy Stephens replied. "I
have the most talented team ever, and my players did everything that we
asked of them! This is a great victory for the cadets of the George
Washington Academy and our loyal fans!"

"Andrew Anderson, how does it feel to be voted the Most Valuable Player in
this Championship Game tonight?" Judy asked Drew.

"I'm happy that we won the State Championship, but I'm also sad that this
was my last football game wearing the blue and gold of the George Washington
Academy," Drew replied. "I had a good game tonight because of the way my
teammates blocked for me and gave me time to find a receiver, and the
defense kept the Sentinels from scoring. Football's a team sport, and our
team really rocks!"

Judy Tremaine turned her attention to Robbie by asking, "Robert Mathews, you
could have set a new State Record with an interception return of 109 yards!
Why did you stop in the middle of the playing field and put your knee down
to end the game?"

"Last year I dropped a pass that ended our chances of advancing in the
playoffs," Robbie replied. "I felt terrible! When I intercepted that pass
and was running right in front of the Sentinels' bench, I saw the faces of
their players and knew exactly how they felt. We had the game won and
didn't need another six points, so why humiliate the other team any more? I
wanted to run out the clock and I really don't care about setting a record!"

"Guy Stephens, you've obviously taught your players important lessons in
sportsmanship," Judy Tremaine said. "I see that Governor English has
presented the Runner Up Trophy to the Sentinel coach, Thomas Fisher, and
he's waiting with your trophy! Congratulations to the 1993 Michigan Class A
State Champions, George Washington Academy Eagles!"

Photographers captured the presentation of the State Championship Trophy
from Governor English to Guy Stephens and team captain, Andrew Anderson.
Images of the two happy men would be published in newspapers across the
state, and several television stations would broadcast highlights of the
Championship Game that evening.

David Mathews, Thomas Anderson, River Whitestone and Hunter Whitestone all
hurried to the locker room after the trophy presentation. They all hoped
that they would be allowed inside to celebrate with the cadets who had just
won an important championship in front of a huge crowd and television
audience. When they arrived at the door to the locker room, they were
pleased to see Terry Pahls, the baseball and track coach guarding the door.

"You guys go right in!" Terry said when he recognized the visitors. "We had
some female reporters in there a while ago, but they left and the guys are
headed for the showers."

"OH MY GOD!" David Mathews and Tom Anderson exclaimed when they got inside
the locker room. They were shocked to see Robbie and Drew standing on a
bench wearing only their jock straps and singing into a portable microphone.
The sounds of the rock group, Queen, blasted through the locker room with
the music and words of "We Are the Champions!" Robbie and Drew were leading
the entire team in singing the famous song, and the locker room was filled
with celebrating athletes in various stages of undress.

Hunter was laughing so hard he was afraid he would pee his pants! Seeing
the two handsome athletes wearing practically nothing and singing in front
of so many people was too much for him to believe. He joined his dad in
celebrating the football victory and searched for Tracker.

David Mathews had his camera and snapped several pictures of Robbie and Drew
entertaining the football players, coaches, trainers and special fans. He
knew that the photos would have to be edited for content, but loved seeing
the two teens celebrating without any modesty. He thought it was great when
he saw Derrick Harmon and Guy Stephens join Robbie and Drew in singing "We
Are the Champions" in front of the crowd in the locker room. The photo
images he captured would be treasures that he would cherish for the rest of
his life.

Eric Stephens was celebrating with the football players, but was jealous of
the attention that his father was giving Drew and Robbie. He loved being an
equipment manager for the football team and the special times that he spent
with Robbie, but he felt left out in the celebration of the football
championship. He was only 12 years old, but he had long been dreaming of
being a cadet.

Robbie was overwhelmed by the most exciting athletic competition in his
entire life and loved having his picture taken with Drew with the State
Championship Trophy between them. He looked around and saw Eric Stephens,
and immediately realized that the young boy needed some special attention.

"You stay here!" Robbie ordered Guy Stephens. "We're gonna keep singing
that song till the batteries run dead or my voice craps out, but someone
special to me needs to be included!"

Guy Stephens was basking in the accolades of the reporters and select family
members who had been allowed inside the locker room. It was the greatest
day of his coaching career even though he had coached State Champions
before. This team was the best that he had ever coached, and he doubted if
he would ever again have a quarterback with the talent of Andrew Anderson.
He loved the exuberance of youth in Robbie and Drew when they sang the
special song wearing practically nothing. He saw that most of his players
were nude or barely dressed, but none of them seemed embarrassed.

"ONE MORE TIME!" Robbie screamed while Tracker rewound the tape player.
Robbie had grabbed Eric Stephens and shoved the microphone into Eric's hand
with Robbie and Guy Stephens standing on each side while Eric led the team
in singing the famous song.

Eric was in heaven! He sang along with Robbie and his dad and loved seeing
people taking pictures. He wanted to have hundreds of copies of the
pictures to show his friends how he was included in the championship
celebration. Robbie had sensed his feelings and had brought him into the
celebration, and he would never forget this wonderful day.

"This is the best day of Robbie's life!" David Mathews said to Tom Anderson
and River Whitestone. "Most of his life we were moving from Naval Base to
Naval Base, and he never made lasting friendships. Now he's part of the
Academy, and I'm thrilled to see him act like a teenager and celebrate with
his friends! We need to get out of here quickly, because the players have a
surprise for Guy and Derrick!"

The three adult men headed for the door and turned to see the surprise.
Several players had cans of shaving cream and flooded Guy Stephens, Derrick
Harmon and the entire staff of trainers and equipment managers. Hunter
Whitestone didn't want to leave the locker room with his father but wasn't
ready for the flying shaving cream. He screamed along with Eric Stephens
when they were both covered with the foaming soap.

"Let's get out of here!" River Whitestone said to the other two men.

The men were all laughing hysterically at how Guy Stephens and Derrick
Harmon were surprised with the shaving cream bath. David told his two
friends that the football players had planned to cover the coaches with
shaving cream and then drag them into the showers with their clothes on. He
wanted to see the boys celebrating the important victory, but also wanted to
stay out of the shaving cream fight.

"I want copies of those pictures of our two boys!" Tom Anderson said to
David Mathews. "We might have to edit the pictures, but I hope they show
how excited and happy our sons were tonight! Let's get back to our wives
and see if the food has arrived."

The men found their wives and other Academy fans setting up tables on the
empty football field. The Academy Boosters' Club had been confident that
the cadets would win the game and had rented tables and chairs for a huge
celebration after the game ended. They had rented the Silverdome and had
hired a local catering service to provide food and beverages for all of the
cadets, families and friends. The football team and marching band were
staying overnight in Pontiac, but most of the cadets would travel by bus
back to the Campus after the victory celebration.

Vincent Brown was in heaven! As Chancellor of the George Washington
Academy, he was the host to greet the distinguished alumni who had attended
this important football game, and Master of Ceremonies for the victory
celebration. He was thrilled that the caterers had eight huge serving
tables for the buffet meal, and was pleased that everyone was served and
seated when the football team and coaching staff came out of the locker
room.

"LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, LET'S WELCOME THE 1993 CLASS A HIGH SCHOOL STATE
CHAMPIONSHIP FOOTBALL TEAM AND COACHING STAFF!" Vincent Brown announced
using the public address system. The Academy marching band was waiting for
the team to arrive and quickly began playing the Fight Song, with the huge
crowd standing to cheer and applaud for their victorious team.

Drew was leading the team into the arena, with all of the seniors entering
first. He had waited for four years to be a senior and be honored by the
Academy fans. Only seniors were elected as team captains, and only one
captain led each team. He was proud that he was captain of the football
team, but sad that this was his last football game at the Academy.

Robbie looked for his aunt and uncle and was excited to see them sitting at
the same table as Tom, Carol and Jennifer Anderson. Jenny wasted no time
running up to Robbie and giving him a big hug and kiss on the cheek. Her
display of affection drew whistles and catcalls from many of the cadets that
witnessed the events.

"Is she knocked up yet?" Keith Phillips teased Drew Anderson. "She's
definitely 'in heat' and Robbie's boned up! You'll be an uncle before next
summer!"

"YOU JERK!" Drew said to his best friend while cuffing Keith on the back of
the head. He and Keith had been best friends since their days as plebes,
and nothing was sacred from teasing. He had finally calmed down about
Robbie and Jennifer spending time together and knew that they were
exchanging emails and phone calls on a frequent basis.

"All bullshit aside," Keith began, "They'd make some beautiful babies
together! She's a definite '10' and he's 'drop dead cute'!"

Their fantastic evening ended with the football team and band members being
rewarded for their performances in the Silverdome by spending the night at
the Holidome in Pontiac, Michigan while the buses loaded up the rest of the
cadets for the return trip to Traverse City.

Robbie was pumped up with emotions when he got inside the double room that
he would share with Tracker. Their room had a connecting door with the room
occupied by Drew and Keith, and the four horny cadets had some hot plans for
the evening.

"I'm ready for a blowjob!" Robbie announced when Drew and Keith came into
his room. "Which one of you wants to eat the first load?"

"My sperm count is so high that you'll have to chew before you swallow!"
Tracker added while exposing his throbbing organ to the two first class
cadets.

Drew and Keith were both horny and ready for some intense male bonding with
their Little Brothers. They had planned on getting the two young cadets to
suck their hard cocks, but quickly decided to get on their knees and see who
could make the young dudes come first.

Robbie was thrilled that Drew was taking the entire length of his throbbing
cock in his mouth. He closed his eyes and allowed his brain to focus on the
combination of licking, sucking and stroking of his throbbing member.

Drew loved Robbie and was determined to give his Little Brother the best
blowjob of his life. He was stroking Robbie's cock when it was out of his
mouth, and he used the index finger of his right hand to locate the puckered
ring of Robbie's butt hole. When his finger slid inside the grip and heat
of Robbie's love hole, the results were immediate. The moans of his Little
Brother were a warning that his mouth would soon be filled with hot teen
semen. After the first blast of tangy sauce went directly down his throat,
he pulled back so he could enjoy the unique flavor of Robbie's juice. He
gulped down each new blast to allow room for the next, and lost count of how
many spurts of cum had erupted from the cute teen. He held the last
mouthful of cum in his mouth and forced it into Robbie's mouth when they
shared a passionate kiss.

Tracker had tried to hold back his orgasm, but Keith was an expert
cocksucker. He had blown a huge load of cum inside of Keith's mouth before
Robbie's orgasm began, and he and his Big Brother watched and listened while
Robbie unloaded in Drew's mouth.

"You guys sure put on a great show!" Keith exclaimed. "I thought Robbie was
going to blow your head off when he started screaming!"

"If Drew would graft two tits on his back, I'd marry him!" Robbie teased.

"Your ass is the one that's gonna get drilled right now!" Drew exclaimed.
"From now on, I want you to wear your boxers backwards so I have quicker
access to your love chute!"

Robbie laughed and then kissed Drew passionately. He loved having sex with
his Big Brother, and his favorite act was when Drew's huge cock was buried
in his ass. He knew that Drew liked to be fucked too, and they had both
shared that having a large cock buried in your ass left no doubt that you
were intimately connected.

Robbie caught the tube of K-Y jelly and quickly coated the area around his
tight hole. He knew that Drew was very horny and wanted to shove every inch
of his throbbing meat inside without delay.

Drew coated his immense cock with the lubricant and looked down at his cute
Little Brother. Robbie was the best looking guy in the world, and he was
still amazed that the cute blonde was receptive to gay sex. Robbie was on
his back on the bed with his legs in the air, exposing his lubricated ring
for the impending thrusts. He wasted no time in driving the head of his
throbbing cock past the gripping ring of Robbie's anus.

Robbie tried to relax to accept the shaft of pleasure attached to his Big
Brother. Drew had a huge cock, and no matter how many times they coupled,
it was painful until his hole stretched to accept the intrusion. He used
his mind control to relax his muscles, and felt Drew's throbbing cock slid
deep inside.

"They should be married!" Tracker teased Keith. "My buddy takes that huge
cock like a nickel whore!"

"Shut up and blow me!" Keith exclaimed. "You'll get your cum enema after I
pop a nut in that good-looking mouth of yours!"

Drew leaned down and kissed Robbie passionately. The entire length of his
cock was now buried inside Robbie's gripping ass, and he didn't want to cum
too fast. He loved Robbie with every fiber of his body, and wanted the
ultimate act of male to male love to last. He fucked Robbie for over 10
minutes, and listened to Keith cumming in Tracker's mouth. The visual
stimulation, combined with the grip of Robbie's ass put him over the top,
and he screamed when his cock emptied.

The room was filled with the moans of teenaged guys emptying their bodies
into tight orifices, and the unique aroma of semen filled the air.

Drew didn't stop thrusting his satisfied cock in and out of Robbie's body
until it partially softened. The unmistakable sounds of slapping bodies and
the juicy sounds of cum leaking out of Robbie's battered hole filled the
air. Drew finally collapsed on top of Robbie and felt his satisfied cock
slip out of Robbie's hole.

Robbie hugged Drew and felt the cool air invade his distended hole. He knew
that a huge puddle of cum would cover the sheets, but he didn't care. Of
all the times that he and Drew had made love, this was the best! Tears of
emotion flowed down his face while he collapsed on the bed.

"Jesus, you must have saved up for a month to blow that much cum inside
him!" Keith exclaimed to Drew. "I bet his asshole never closes again after
that poke in the kidneys!"

"Did I hurt you?" Drew asked Robbie. "I didn't mean to make you cry!
Please forgive me!"

"Those are tears of emotion!" Robbie choked out. "There's no better feeling
in the world than having you deep inside me! I'm sore, but it's a good type
of sore! Just let me rest for a couple of minutes."

Tracker and Keith were jealous of the way Robbie and Drew made love. They
loved each other too, but they had just witnessed a sexual act that no porn
movie could ever duplicate. Robbie and Drew were best friends, Little
Brother and Big Brother, but they were also devoted lovers.

Before the four horny cadets drifted off to sleep, they had coupled in every
possible combination and position. The most unusual was when Robbie and
Tracker were in a "69" position, with Drew fucking Tracker and Keith fucking
Robbie.

The next morning found the four satiated teens stuck to the sheets of the
two king sized beds in the motel room. They were all sore from being
fucked, but they would have intimate memories for the rest of their lives.

It was noon on Saturday when the buses arrived at the front gate of the
George Washington Academy. Inside were the football players and the band
members, and they were excited about returning to the campus to continue
celebrating their crucial victory. All of the band members were wearing
their uniforms and quickly collected their instruments and assembled inside
the main gates. They waited for the bandleader to signal for them to start
playing.

Cadets and the entire staff were patiently waiting for the victorious return
of the football team and the band to their beautiful campus. Ignoring the
25 degree temperature and light snowfall, the cadets milled around the
campus to wait for their buddies to return. Announcements over the public
address system alerted everyone when the buses arrived at the front gates,
and the cadets quickly lined the main driveway. Banners and signs had been
made to recognize the football team for their victory; the cadets and
faculty were excited to have their heroes back home.

Robbie was excited when Drew explained how the team would be recognized
during the "Parade of Champions" from the front gates all the way to the
front of Washington Hall. All of the players were wearing their "Away"
jerseys that were white with blue and gold trim around the arms and jeans.
Ignoring the cold, the players wanted to display their colorful jerseys
during the long march to Washington Hall. They lined up in groups of four
and followed the marching band along the long driveway. The hills around
the huge campus echoed with the sounds of the Fight Song that was played
over and over during the trip from the front gate and all the way up the
driveway.

Cadets waved their signs and banners while cheering for their marching band
and victorious football players. When the procession passed them, the
cadets joined in at the end and marched in step along with the band members
and football players.

Robbie was thrilled when the procession arrived at the front of Washington
Hall where Chancellor Brown was waiting along with media reporters.
Television cameras captured the pageantry and everyone was cheering for the
band and football players. It was a striking contrast to the previous year
when Robbie had dropped the pass that might have tied the playoff game.
