Rob went upstairs; I locked the doors and put the lights out before
following him. I quickly undressed, went to our bathroom, washed, and
cleaned my teeth before climbing into bed where Sarah was reading her first
`baby magazine', at least it was the first that I had seen. I lay on my
back, covered only by the sheet with my legs apart. It wasn't more than a
minute before I felt a hand sliding up my leg, tickling my balls, then
grasping my prick and gently pulling the foreskin back and forth, as she
loved to do -- and I loved her to do! Needles to say, Willy was soon showing
signs of perking up, when suddenly Sarah said "That's it, no more tonight!"

I rolled over, kissed her pert bosoms with their erect, pink nipples, then
moved to her lips, where I found an open mouth, eager to take my tongue
inside. Next, I moved my lips down her chest, via the twin peaks, down her
belly to her newly trimmed bush. With both her hands, she pushed my face
between her legs. I pushed my tongue into her slit, vigorously licking her
erect clitoris. After a minute or so, she pushed my head away. My lips
returned to her breasts, then to her lips, still eager to take my tongue
inside. As our tongues played together, from one mouth to the other,
Sarah's legs were clamped together, I slipped my naked body on top of hers,
my now erect prick sandwiched firmly between our bellies. We kissed and
cuddled for a few more minutes before Sarah rolled from under me, saying
"That's your ration! It's time for sleep."

With that, she kissed my still hardened cock, tweaked my balls and turned
her back to me. I snuggled up behind her, my prick between the cheeks of
her bum. "Just practising for when we can't practice," she said, "either
when the bump is in the way or the baby won't sleep!"

"Where there's a will, there's a way," I said, relaxing our grip and kissing
her smooth shoulders before we drifted off to sleep, only to be woken at
6.30am by the alarm clock.

Rob was in the kitchen by the time Sarah and I went down, me in my work
clothes, Sarah still clad only in her dressing gown. We breakfasted,
readied ourselves for work and took our leave of Sarah. Rob gave her a hug
and a peck on the cheek, "See you again in a few weeks, I expect. Why don't
you come up north next time when Nick does? You and Alison can go baby
shopping at Gateshead Metro Centre or wherever."

"I might just do that, so long as he doesn't force me into house hunting!"

"I don't think we'll be leaving the Midlands just yet," I said, "not until I
get promoted to corporate and we move to Hampshire."

"Not likely!" Sarah said.

"Well not for a few years and, who knows, something else might come along
before then."

"More babies, perhaps!" Rob and Sarah said, almost simultaneously.

I dropped Rob off at his office and went on to mine. One of his colleagues
would take him to the airport for the afternoon flight. The day passed
quickly, I got my monthly report and budget sorted out before I talked to
Steve about the problems of the previous day. He would produce a full
report over the next couple of days but it was company policy to have a full
post mortem on major outages. Tom would need a briefing from me ahead of
that, "I want no surprises" he would say when he "invited" me, and probably
Steve, to the PM meeting with the CEO. More and more, such meetings were
being held by video conference. Apart from reducing travel time and costs,
it enabled the CEO to call them at shorter notice!

Towards the end of the afternoon, Roger called me. "Set yourself up for the
first weekend in September," he said. "It's nowhere too exotic, I'm afraid,
La Rochelle in France. The drug company has a plant near there and very
good relations with a private clinic which does the pathology for us."

"That should be OK," I said, "Sarah has been trying to brush up on her
French, trying to catch up with me, I think."

"I'm afraid we shall be speaking English most of the time, the universal
language of medicine."

"And most other things!" I said.

"We leave at 7.30am on 5th and get back about 8.30pm on the 8th, flights
from Birmingham. I'll send you all the details and talk to you again before
then, but one thing to bear in mind, no sex for three days beforehand."

I managed to get everything finished and leave the office half an hour or so
early, much to Sarah's surprise. Instead of going to the supermarket on
Saturday morning, we decided to have a cup of tea and then go, freeing up
some of our weekend `together time'. Over tea, I filled Sarah in about the
arrangements for our weekend away; she was thrilled it was to France and I
could almost hear the gears grinding as she planned her wardrobe for the
weekend. Doubtless she would need a portmanteau whilst I would travel with
little more than hand baggage!

The next few weeks flew by, Sarah got her marketing assignment, which was
nominally two days a week but one of the hazards of working from home was
always that being a perfectionist, she spent far more than the allotted time
`at work', even if it was sometimes in her dressing gown!. I got on with my
normal work, surprisingly with no trips to Newcastle, though I was having a
lot more contact with Jerry who seemed to be grooming me for the `promotion
meeting'. Our love-making continued pretty much as usual, that is, almost
whenever and wherever we felt like it!

August 28th loomed; I made the two hour drive to Winchester after an early
lunch the day before and met Tom late in the afternoon and Jerry was to join
us for dinner. We discussed the progress of the company and its prospects,
more specifically my prospects as MD of the Northern Division, as it was to
be called. I suggested that the proposed title of `Celtic Division' for the
Welsh and Northern Irish businesses might generate some nationalistic or
religious emotion and he agreed, saying that it was a topic for discussion
the following day. He was in favour of `Western Division'; I got the
message that I was to endorse this view! Evidently there was also some
pressure north of the border for a stand-alone `Scottish Division'. We
agreed that there were all kinds of possible permutations and no one `right'
answer to the fundamental need to divide a company that was rapidly
developing from being simply a network operator to a fully fledged services
provider.

After dinner at an excellent Indian Restaurant, Tom dropped me off at the
historic Mercure Hotel, a former coaching inn, in the centre of Winchester
saying he would see me about nine in his office. Jerry was staying with
friends. Back in my over-heated hotel room, I stripped naked before calling
Sarah. I told her I was naked but we had spent some minutes on smoochy chat
before she said, "Now I suppose you'll be having a wank? Well, just imagine
me lying on my back, naked on the bed, my legs wide apart, with a couple of
fingers in my pussy."

"You're not?"

"I certainly am!"

Percy was already at half mast and still rising. I started stroking him in
my left hand and it wasn't long before he was throbbing at full stretch,
seven inches of rigid man flesh just waiting to spurt the contents of two
tightening bollocks. Then suddenly I heard the tell-tale groan, followed
instantly by a scream of delight. The surprise made me lose control and my
balls emptied themselves, shooting six or seven spurts of spunk in a huge
arc onto the bedroom carpet.

"Are you still there, darling?"

As only a woman would, Sarah said "Now you'll have to clean-up the carpet!"

"How do you know that? This isn't a video phone."

"Just guessed, I used an old towel! That was our first ever tele-wank."

Being sexually satisfied from afar, we quickly wound up the conversation
with me promising to call her the following afternoon when I was leaving for
the two-hour drive home. I mopped up the carpet, had a quick wash, cleaned
my teeth, got into bed and was soon asleep

I woke early next morning with my usual woodie, which went unsated. After a
quick shave and shower, I was dressed and down for breakfast by 7.30am and
ready for the short drive to our offices soon after 8.00. Tom was in his
office when I walked in at 8.20am. He brought me up to speed with the
agenda for the meeting, particularly the areas in which I would not normally
be involved, then moved on to the reorganisation issue.

"Your move to Newcastle is deliberately on the agenda before the
reorganisation. Hubert didn't want it to be seen that the Divisional
Manager post was created for you. There is an alternative proposal now,
Newcastle, Northern Ireland and Scotland would be the Northern Division.
Birmingham, Nottingham, Liverpool and Wales would form the Midland Division
and the rest of us, the Southern Division."

"That sounds reasonable; it would make all the divisions about the same
size, wouldn't it?"

"Yes, pretty much so, manpower and turnover. It does make sense. The idea
is still to appoint you to Newcastle, to go through the motions of moving
you but announce the reorganisation before you take up the post. Hubert and
the Chairman fully support you so there won't be much of a grilling."

"Sounds good to me," I said. "I've only met the Chairman once, what's he
like?"

"Larry is very astute, very fair and an excellent judge of character. Oh,
and by the way, he has a live-in male partner, been together for years, I
understand."

"Sounds like a good boss, the partner doesn't bother me."

"He won't," Tom said, "he doesn't go for married men! You know him, anyway,
Bill Williams from Network Control in Bristol."

"Well, I'm blowed, I'd never have put him down as gay!"

"No, me, neither but they do say it takes one to know one. Let's go
upstairs."

After opening the meeting the Chairman introduced me to the other members,
almost all of whom were well known to me anyway. "Nick is number seven on
the agenda," he added. Items one to six were completed by about noon, my
opinion being sought on a couple of issues, probably pre-planted questions,
I thought.

Evidently I passed that test, "Now item seven, the new MD for Newcastle.
Jerry is taking up the post he was offered in HMG and we are all pleased to
wish him well Hubert, Jerry and I have considered the appointment of his
replacement very carefully. Most of you have known Nick for a while, the
rest of you have had an opportunity to hear his some of his views this
morning. Does anyone have any questions for him?"

Fifteen pairs of eyes were on me. There wasn't a sound. I looked at the
Chairman. Then the HR Director broke the silence, "Have you discussed
Nick's terms for the post?"

"No, Jill," Hubert admitted, "but I don't see any problems. It will take a
significant pay increase to keep him in the right band but in my view he has
been underpaid for a while now. His other benefits will be in line with
agreed policy, car, medical, pension, share options, etc."

"Will he still get his blue lights?" someone asked, alluding to an occasion
when I switched on the emergency lights accidentally and caused pandemonium
in Coventry city centre. A few people, not in know, were puzzled; everyone
else laughed at my embarrassment.

There were a few other questions for me, Hubert and Larry, before the
chairman adjourned the meeting for lunch. Several of the delegates
questioned me over lunch, mostly those whom I knew less well. I felt that
their questions were largely contrived but nevertheless it was a good
opportunity to get to know each other. One man pointedly said that he `was
very glad to see I was wearing a wedding ring'.

When we resumed the meeting, the Chairman said "Well, of you who didn't know
him have had an opportunity to speak to Nick and find out a bit about him.
Just on a personal note and something I have only just heard about, I would
like to heartily congratulate him and his wife on the first baby they are
expecting." There was a round of applause which I acknowledged somewhat
coyly.

" Does anyone have any objections or comments on Nick's appointment as MD in
Newcastle?"

Nobody did. "Nick, I assume you would like the job or you wouldn't be here
today. Jill and Tom will talk to you next week about the terms, timescale
and what have you."

"I am sure I will be able to agree terms with them," I said, "and on that
basis I shall be very pleased to take up the post." I had expected a
specific offer but realised that this might have caused some discontent when
the meeting minutes were circulated to others in senior management.
Invariably, copies found their way to people who should not see them.

"Good that is all settled then, let's look at item eight, the final item on
our agenda today. We need to consider breaking the business up into several
divisions. The company is getting too big to manage everything from here.
We have a number of options on the table. Tom will summarise where we're
at."

"The main issues are around Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The
initial plan was for these to form a Celtic Division and for England to be
split into North and South Divisions. An alternative that has been put
forward is for Newcastle, Northern Ireland and Scotland to form the Northern
Division, Birmingham, Nottingham, Liverpool and Wales, would form the
Midland Division and the rest of us, the Southern Division. That makes the
four areas roughly equal in terms of people and turnover but the problem is
that Newcastle uses different technologies from Northern Ireland and
Scotland, so that grouping does not entirely make sense. If Newcastle went
with Northern England, it would be the biggest division. Moving the Welsh
business into the Southern Division would make that even bigger and remove
the synergy between North Wales and Liverpool. I will be circulating a
paper on all these options next week."

"Thanks, Tom," the Chairman said. "Are there any other options from the
floor?" There weren't any, but a general consensus that Newcastle should
not be partnered with Scotland for technology reasons.

"Well, Nick, it looks like your first job as MD designate for Newcastle is
to decide where you want to sit vis-à-vis Scotland! You might want to think
about how the Welsh business fits too." He looked me straight in the eye as
he said that, then glanced at Tom.

Tom intervened, "I suggest that Nick, Jerry and I have a conference call
early next week to discuss the issues, Nick can report back for
consideration at our meeting next month. Jill might want to join in too and
we can finalise Nick's terms at the same time." Jerry agreed, Jill said she
would check her diary.

"Sounds good to me, meeting adjourned, have a good weekend everyone!"

The Chairman came over to Tom and said, "Whatever your conclusions, I want
to sort out the Divisional CEO posts in October, bear that in mind, both of
you." He was looking straight at me.

When he had gone, Tom said "Your card is marked for DCEO -- with or without
Newcastle and all of part of Wales. Let's talk next week." With that, I
took my leave, agreeing to speak next week.

As soon as I got into the car I called Sarah, "I'll see you in about two
hours, darling. I've got lots to tell you about over dinner."

"What makes you think dinner comes first?"

"If it doesn't, the news will have to wait! See you soon. Bye."
