From Ch. 7:

"I have so much I want to tell you -- and -- so much I want to learn --
from you." He said, then he kissed me again. "I think I'm gonna like
this!"

I looked and Mike and Geoff were watching us. As we watched, they walked
to their front door and before going in -- they pulled back into the
shadows and -- they kissed awkwardly. Then it got hotter and they were
all over each other. They fumbled with the front door and opened it and
-- went inside.

"You may not have to tell them anything after all, Ash."

We kissed once more and I drove home. There was a note waiting for me.
I checked my phone. It had gone dead while I wasn't looking.

"Tony, Tomorrow night I have to fly to Oahu -- to do a dive show at
Waimea Park on Saturday. Can you come? Call me -- Fred."

Chapter 8

I decided to call Ashton first: "Hi, Ashton." I said.

"I told you that you can call me Ash."

"Oh -- yeah -- well -- okay. Um - "

"So I have a great night planned for us, and - " He sounded so
excited.

"Ashton -- er, Ash! Um -- I got an opportunity to go to Waimea Falls
Park -- tonight -- on Oahu -- to watch an -- um -- friend -- put on a
diving exhibition. I -- um -- hate to tell him no -- but -- if you have
already made plans, I will."

"Oh! Um -- well -- no -- don't do that. I can make other -- I mean --
look, if you have year heart set on that -- it sounds like fun!. We'll
do something -- um -- another time. Maybe Saturday?"

"Oh yeah, well, um -- the diving thing is ON Saturday. He wants to take
me -- I mean he wants me to go with him tonight, and -- well -- so he'll
be there in the morning, Saturday."

"Oh. Well. Um -- okay -- um -- Okay!" His voice sounded suddenly dry
-- like he was very embarrassed and/or disappointed or maybe both."

"Look, Ash. Wait for a few minutes. I haven't told him I would go.
Let me call him. I mean -- maybe he really wants me to see him dive.
He's actually just substituting for another guy that can't be there
this weekend."

"I don't want you to disappoint your friend, Tony."

"I have to disappoint one of you. And I haven't told him yes. Let me
call him. K?"

"Yeah -- all right. Call me back -- so -- um -- yeah. Let me know --
um -- as soon as -- uh -- you can."

"I will! Bye."

"DAMN DAMN DAMN!" I said to myself.

"What's wrong, Tony?" My dad said. I hadn't meant for him to hear
me.

"I -- just have two things -- fun things -- that I want to do -- and I
have to decide -- one or the other."

"That IS a hard decision. Well, which do you want the most?"

"It's not about that. The decision is, who I would have to
disappoint."

"Well -- put on your thinking cap. How could you have it all?"

"Hrmph! I could fly myself over to Oahu and get my own transportation
to the park, I guess."

"Which park?"

"Waimea Falls."

"Oh -- we've taken you there many times."

"Yeah -- and I've seen the diving exhibition many times. But never
with Fred doing the diving."

"Fred?"

"Fred Stumpf."

"Is he related to the Stumpfs in First Ward?"

"He's their son."

"Oh! They're a wonderful family! You could take a bus."

"Yeah -- take a bus to Oahu! Thanks!"

"Haha! No -- I mean after you fly there. "Go with your other friend
-- who is it?"

"It's someone I met this morning biking."

"Wow! He must have impressed you."

"He took me on a dinner cruise -- this afternoon."

"Oh! So -- you must have impressed HIM -- haha!"

"Um -- they're both just fun guys."

"Well -- there's your answer. Fly over and take the bus. You know
that those diving exhibitions go all day long -- like several times.
Maybe you don't have to watch him every show."

"I -- forgot about that. Okay -- thanks Dad!"

"Hey, Fred! Tony!"

"Hi-eeeee!" he said, very excited to hear from me

"I got your message, Fred. I can't go tonight."

"O -- ooohhhh!" He said sounding supremely disappointed and dejected.

"I'm sorry -- but -- can I come on Saturday Morning? I can fly over
and take a bus to the park."

"Yeah -- I know -- well -- okay -- I wanted to fly you over myself."

"You have a plane?"

"No -- I meant I wanted to -- make it kind of like a date. But okay --
well -- um -- can you stay over Saturday night -- and I can at least fly
you back -- on Sunday?"

"Oh -- you wanted to -- um -- oh!" Omigosh. He seriously wants me to
stay a night with him. Well, that's what would have happened tonight
anyway.

I finished up my call with Fred then called Ashton back. Then I went to
break the news to Mom and Dad.

"Hi folks. Um -- I just wanted to come in and say g'night."

"G'night son."

"G'night Honey."

" -- and um -- to tell you I will be gone until Sunday night." I
almost choked on my own words. "I'll be staying over tomorrow night
with Ashton, and Saturday night with Fred."

"Oh!" My dad frowned. But it soon passed. "Okay -- maybe you want
to have kind of a family prayer -- before you go?"

"I -- don't know -- Dad -- should we wake up the other kids?"

"I doubt that Joseph and Levi are asleep. Wait a moment."

Dad went to the boys' room. They followed him into their bedroom, both
of them still rubbing their eyes.

"It's been too long since we had a family prayer." Said Dad. It was
a little over a week. "We used to do it every day -- but somehow --
things got busy and - " His voice trailed off. "I'll say it."

"Heavenly Father, we're thankful for our family and all that you have
given us. We ask forgiveness of our sins -- especially at this time -"
I was petrified about what might come next! " -- when it has been too
long since we last came together as a family to talk to you.

"Please bless each of us that we may make good choices for our lives.
Bless us to get the sleep we need tonight. Please especially bless Tony
as he leaves for the weekend. Watch over and protect him -- that he will
be safe and that he will be prompted to make good decisions.

Again, we're thankful for thy Son and his sacrifice. In his name,
Amen."

Well, it was clear what he hoped to accomplish with that prayer. I said
thanks and g'night and went to my room.

I had the late morning ride so at least I could sleep in until 4:30. But
by the time I was finished work, I was scrambling to make it to Lahaina
in time for Ashton's "mystery" date.

"Wow, Tony," Said Ashton, concerned, "You look thrashed. I hope
you're staying here tonight."

I hadn't given that a thought. I was embarrassed to have assumed I was
staying with them tonight! But they couldn't know that! "Oh, could
I? That would be so great! Where shall I sleep?"

I had driven to Ashton's brothers condo -- really an apartment that was
converted to ownership units -- before the surprise date that Ashton had
planned. "Well -- I usually sleep with my brother and Geoff sleeps in
the other room. That made sense before this latest development."

"What development is that?"

"Well -- it seems that that girls conclusion -- that Mike is gay -- is
compounded by my own correct observation about Mike and Geoff. They Are
in love! They have been a little funny about admitting it, though and --
admitting the other thing (that they must be gay!) so we have kept our
sleeping arrangement. I somehow don't think they will complain much if
I ask for the change: that they sleep together -- so you can sleep in my
room."

Oops! How did I all of a sudden go from sleeping over at his place to
sleeping WITH him? Okay -- I am a big boy. I can handle this.

"Where shall I put my stuff, then?" I asked.

"Well, you may as well put them in my room. I'll break the news to
Mikie later. They're out getting a hamburger or something. We'll be
eating dinner somewhere else."

Ashton led me to the bedroom. I walked in and - - there were two twin
beds there! I was both relieved and - - disappointed! "I'll have to
get clean sheets for your bed, so -- just throw your stuff there until I
do."

I set my stuff down on the floor next to the bed he indicated was mine.
"You just continue to amaze me!" I said.

"What? Why?" He asked, smiling broadly

"It's hard to explain, but - - and I shouldn't be -- um -- surprised,
because -- um -- the things you do -- are so much like -- um well, like
what I'D do - - it's almost eerie." He was standing almost nose to
nose with me and it just happened. I just threw my arms around him and
kissed him. He still was new to kissing, but he accepted my spontaneity
just fine. He kissed me back, almost as if he were trying to remember
what I taught him yesterday. He opened his mouth -- a little -- and his
lips softened up nicely.

I probed a little with my tongue. He hugged me even closer and broke the
kiss. I was afraid I had pushed it too far, until he whispered in my
ear, "Wow! You KNOW how to make a guys stomach turn somersaults!"

"My feelings exactly!" I said. "Your lips are so wonderful and --
soft!"

It was also quite obvious that, though we had complete control over our
tongues -- somewhere down below, that was not the case. It was equally
as obvious that we had NO control over something else -- and both were
getting quite hard. I was pretty sure he was embarrassed about that so I
pushed a little more. I lowered one hand to his butt and pulled him
closer into me.

"Oh my God!" He sighed. "You have taught me so much in 24 hours! I
love you!"

"Oh -- please don't say that." I said, almost recoiling.

"No -- no- please don't take it wrong. I love Mike, I love Geoff, and
-- I don't know you very well yet, but -- I already know that -- I love
you. And -- Tony -- can you tell me that -- that the feelings that you
just put into action -- with me -- are anything less than -- love?"

"I -- I -- never thought much about it. We are taught in my church to
beware of lust. But the more I think about it -- you're right. It was
love that pushed me to -- to do that. You see? You have things to teach
me too! Again, I shouldn't be surprised!"

"Good! I hope that you are surprised by my plans for this afternoon and
tonight. Don't worry, I won't keep you up too late either. Poor
baby! You need to get some sleep. Hey! I have to run over to see my
dad for a few minutes. Why don't you lie down on my bed and I'll wake
you when I get back."

Again, he was playing right into my subconscious. I closed my eyes and
kissed him again. "Yeah -- you love me! I can feel it!" He said, and
giggled. I'm afraid he was too right.

He pushed me down on the bed and removed my shoes and socks. "Oh! You
have a long second toe!"

"Is that bad?" I asked, amused.

"Oh, no! I think that is so nice! Feet with a long 2nd toe look so
elegant and - sexy!" He said, rubbing both my feet.

"Please stop that!" I said. "In about a half hour!"

"Oh, you like? I'll rub your feet later on! See yah! Take a nap --
go to sleep! Bye!"

I looked at my phone -- which I also used as a watch. It was 4:30 PM. I
was awakened by talking in the other room. Then a body burst in the door
and the light went on. I covered my eyes.

"Oh! Sorry Ash -- oh! You're not Ash! Oh, Tony!" Said Mike.

"Hi." I said weakly, still trying to put things together.

"Um -- so -- what's up? Where's my brother?" Asked Mike. Geoff
walked in.

"What's goin' on?" He said.

"Um -- let me -- um -- Wow! I was really deeply asleep!" I said.
"Ashton went to see his dad -- I think. And -- what time is it?"

"It's 5:35."

"Ashton said he'd be gone a couple minutes. That was over an hour ago.
I wonder - " I said, starting to get concerned.

"To ash, a couple minutes could be a couple hours. How long ago did he
- "

Mike was already pushing numbers in his phone. "Hi. Yeah -- where are
you? When yah comin' back? Oh. Okay, I'll tell him."

He closed his phone and said, "He said don't worry, everything is
almost ready. Everything - - what?"

"I don't have a clue." I said. "He has some surprise in store for
me."

"Hm -- over seeing his dad -- surprise - - I think I know what it is?"

"What?"

"If I told you it would spoil the surprise. I see you're in Ash's
bed. Are you guys -- um - "

"Actually, I guess he wants me to sleep in that bed -- (your bed?) and
that would mean you could -- er I mean would have to sleep in the other
bedroom -- with Geoff -- tonight?"

Mike looked at Geoff and something secret passed between them. They both
smiled and Mike said, "Oh. Okay -- I guess that might work." They
walked out and one of them tried to snurfle down a giggle. Mike turned
and said, "He'll be back in a couple minutes."

"Would that be real minutes -- or Ashton minutes?" I asked.

"With Ash, you never know." Laughed Geoff. He flipped off the light.

I lay back and closed my eyes. What on earth could he have planned that
would involve his dad? I didn't have too long to think about it. In a
very real couple minutes, Ashton came in and, leaving the light off, came
to the bed and knelt down to my level. He was dressed in nice clothes:
Long khakis and a nice Hawaiian shirt.

"You look like a tourist, if ever there was one!" I said.

"I -- um -- well -- I kind of will be tonight! Wanna get dressed?"

"I'm a little embarrassed. I didn't bring anything that nice."

"I already talked to Mike and Geoff. They think they can put together
something for you. I'm way too small for you to fit into anything I
have."

Something crossed my mind and I normally would have kept it to myself,
but it felt right so I said it: "I wouldn't mind trying to get into
your pants!" I laughed.

He didn't laugh. Instead, he whispered, "You might be the first."
And he kissed me again. He IS getting better at it! "Don't you think
at 25, I'm due?"

He got up and turned on the light. He pulled me out of bed and into
another hug and kiss. "For a shy guy, you're doing pretty good!" I
quipped.

"You make it easy!" He said as he pulled me into Geoff's room. Both
Ashton and Mike are quite a lot smaller than I, but Geoff had clothes
that fit pretty well. He didn't have any khakis, but he had some nice
dress pants or jeans. Ashton chose the dress pants. "Your sandals are
still fine." Said Ashton.

They all had fun choosing a Hawaiian shirt that went well with the one
Ashton had. "Well -- you two look like you belong together -- that's
for sure!" said Mike.

We were about to walk out the door. Ashton said, "Oh! Mike, will you
please change the sheets on your bed so Tony can sleep in it tonight. I
almost forgot -- you need to sleep - "

"We already know!" Said Mike, grinning at Geoff. "Tony told us."

I had not seen the car that Ashton drove, but I liked it. It was a new
bright yellow Mustang convertible. "Nice!" I said.

"I rented it. Hop in!" He said opening my door.

We drove a few blocks to another house. "This is my parents' house.
We're picking up my dad."

"Huh?" I thought to myself.

"Dad, this is Tony."

"Good evening Tony. Nice night for flying, Huh?"

"Huh?" I thought to myself -- again.

It was about 15 minutes to the Kapalua Airport -- a small strip just past
Ka'napali Beach. We parked and Ashton ran around to open my door,
grinning ear to ear. "I hope you aren't scared to fly!"

I got out, followed by Asthon's dad. We walked into the small lobby and
right past the few commercial airline counters and out another door.
They led me on a long walk across the tarmac to a small two engine
plane. Ashton opened the door for me. "Get in!" He said. I did as I
was told, thinking there would be a pilot waiting inside.

"You sit there." Said Ashton, pointing to a seat behind one of the two
pilot positions. He sat in one and his dad sat in the other. "I'm not
certified to fly at night yet -- so my dad needs to be here."

I got instantly nervous. I momentarily forgot that Ashton was 25 years
old. I felt like a little kid myself and I guess I gave equal status to
Ashton.

The plane's engine roared into life. I froze, but tried not to show
it. Ashton looked back and said, "Relax! Take off is a piece of cake.
Dad may help a little on the landing.

The sun was not down yet. He took off and banked right as soon as he was
high enough to clear the hotels. I looked down into the Westin
Ka'anapali timeshare complex. Part of it was under construction still,
but I could see someone barbecuing near the beach and a little kid going
down the water slide. Others were in the pool and the two hot tubs that
were there.

Then we flew out over the water. Ashton flew toward Molokai, the larger
of the two Isles that provide somewhat of a barrier to Maui from the
western ocean. We flew over to it and -- over it. Ashton's dad showed
me where the old port and dock was that they used to bring the lepers in
-- to the leper colony that was on this island. They used it at that
time as a quarantine area.

After criss-crossing Molokai, Ashton pulled us into a wide bank toward
the other island off Maui's west shore, Lanai.

"Come on up, Tony!" Ashton's dad said, getting up. "The view is
much better from up here." I traded places with Mr. Staedler. As soon
as I was buckled in, Ashton looked at his dad and his dad nodded.

"Take the controls, Tony!" Said Ashton.

My hands were in my lap. I threw them into the air. "No way!" I
said, about crapping me pants.

"Don't worry, Tony," said Mr. Staedler, "you can hardly do anything
dangerous up this high. Whatever you do, Ash can fix."

I wrapped my fingers around the control with nervous trepidation. I
squeezed the control and the plane tilted up. "AHH!" I yelled.

"Take it easy, Tony, it's okay." Said Ashton, calmly. He pushed the
control forward. "You just pulled back a little -- no problem. Take
the control again, and just try to keep it steady.

I did as instructed, and Ashton let his controls go. I was flying the
airplane by myself! Other than still being petrified, it was very
exciting and cool! I kept it steady for about 2 minutes and noticed that
we were flying well past Lanai -- out to sea. I turned the wheel ever so
slightly and the plane slowly banked left until we were headed back
toward Maui. "A little further to port, Tony. We're not going home
yet."

I assumed since he said further, that port meant left. I turned the
plane again toward Lanai. "Go round the Island once, Tony!" Said
Ashton, grinning ear to ear. I was getting more comfortable. I turned
sharply to the right and the plane nearly went upside down.
"AHHH-EEEE!" I screamed. Ashton laughed delightedly." I slowly
corrected my attitude, and we were again flying straight and evenly --
now toward Molokai again.

"Brink us back to Lanai, Tony -- we're eating dinner there."

I didn't feel like I could ever eat dinner again at the moment, but I
took a long bank to port -- out to sea -- and then directed the nose of
the plane toward Lanai again.

"Dad -- the wind is at 45 knots. I think maybe you should land it."

I agreed! I started to get up and Mr. Staedler said, "Stay where you
are, Tony. It's more fun there!"

Ashton got up and took one of the rear seats. His dad got into his and
we started to descend to a very small strip on the top of the small
island. As we approached the airstrip, I could see why Ashton had his
father do the flying. We came in straight toward the runway, but the
plane was anything BUT straight. It was pitched about 35 degrees
relative to the runway.

This was one time I wished with all my heart that we were STRAIGHT!

As we touched down, the plane seemed to whirl savagely into the right
position. Mr. Staedler taxied to the end and onto a tarmac where he
turned us around like a donut and stopped.

"That was one of the more exciting landings I've ever experienced!"
Said Ashton.

"No biggie!" Said Mr. Staedler. "I've had much worse getting on to
an aircraft carrier."

And me? I was speechless -- and felt like all the blood was drained out
of my face and down to my stomach. "Tony? You okay?"

"Yeah." I said, and as soon as my feet hit the ground, I doubled over
and lost whatever was left of my lunch!

"Ohhh -- sorry Tony! That was an unusual landing. Are you gonna be
able to eat dinner?"

I gathered up all my strength and laughed. "Are you kidding I just lost
my lunch! I'm starved now!" I said hoarsely.

Ashton and his dad roared.

A taxi -- in the form of a Ford maxi-van -- was waiting for us. The
large girl that was the driver handed me a barf bag as I got in. "In
case there's anything left in there!" she quipped. "Hello, Mr.
Staedler -- Ashton. Who is your beautiful -- if a little green --
friend?"

"Tony, this is Cleo." Said Mr. Staedler. And this is her son, Arthur.

"Wonderful to make your acquaintance, Tony." She said as she pulled
out of the airport and started the short drive to the old hotel in the
old Lanai City. She told us all about herself and a little history of
Lanai. ""Most of it is still owned by one man. I have lived all my
life on Lanai. This is my little boy. I was married for a couple years,
but it didn't work out. There are newer hotels over on the other side,
but this is the best!"

Cleo stopped in the drive in front of the grand entrance of the old
hotel. Arthur hopped out and opened our doors, putting down a foot stool
first. Ashton hopped out and then extended his hand to help me out.
"Your mother taught you well, young man!" I joked. He pecked me on
the lips. I was embarrassed.

Arthur started to close the door. "Aren't you eating with us?" I
asked Mr. Staedler.

"Oh no! This is yours and Ashton's evening. I'll be back to fly you
home." He smiled.

Ashton took my hand and guided me up the steps into the grand old Hotel
Lanai. The sun was all the way down. He was beaming as we stepped into
the light of the entrance. His countenance shone with a joy that told me
he was a happy boy!

And -- well -- so was I. My stomach was nearly back to normal --
certainly very hungry. He told anything on the menu was fair game. I
asked him to choose first. I wasn't used to such fancy foods. He chose
the "catch of the day", a Hawaiian pink ruby snapper. I demurred to
his choice. He ordered some white wine.

Oops!

"Um -- I don't drink alcohol, Ash. Is that okay?"

"No problem, Rosio, (that was the waiter) forget the wine. What would
you like with your meal?"

I shrugged and cringed a little. "Milk?" I said.

"Non, non!" Said Rosio. "No milk vith fish! Ve hef a spahkling
cidah that vood be bettah."

"You heard the man!" Said Ashton. "I'll just have some water,
Rosio."

"Me too." I said.

The fish was the best I ever ate. It was fixed with lemon pepper and
some kind of sweet sauce. Also small red potatoes and a light salad were
served.

All during dinner, I could not tear my eyes away form Ashton's. His
blond curls bouncing down his forehead were almost hypnotic, complimented
by those grey eyes, atop very pink cheeks. His hair was just long enough
to reach his shirt collar. And his eyes shone like he had too much to
drink.

"Your eyes, Ash -- they're so -- um -- glassy almost -- like you have
had a lot to drink."

"I promise you -- I haven't. But I am drunk."

"Huh?"

"Tony, I've never been so happy in my life! I'm drunk on - - you!"

My head was spinning. Not from the air sickness any more. And not from
any exterior stimuli. I felt like I was maybe under some kind of spell
-- or something. Could we possibly be in love? We just met yesterday!

"Tony?"

"Yeah?"

"Um -- I don't know quite what is happening. I was serious about being
-- um -- feeling drunk -- with you. It's such a good feeling! I'm
afraid it may go away if we ever fell asleep."

"Yeah -- I don't know -- I feel the same."

"You DO!!??" He marveled.

We had chocolate crepes with fresh raspberries and ice cream for dessert
and then Ashton called his dad.

We walked out of the hotel and out under a huge tree, with the moon
shining through the leafy branches. "My God, I've never felt so sexy
in my life!" He said -- or rather almost purred.

We kissed and cuddled for about ten minutes before we saw the big van
coming up the long drive toward us. We had plenty of time to push our
hair out of our faces to look more presentable.

"No flying for you tonight, Ash!" his dad said "You obviously had
more than a couple glasses of wine."

"I don't feel like flying tonight, Dad, but no -- we didn't have
anything stronger than water."

"Wow! What are they putting in the water over here these days, Cleo?"

"It's not the water, Mr, Staedler. I think it's in the air. Two
people in love seem to get drunk on the air, here on Lanai." Said
Cleo. "But don't worry, it wears off in a day or so -- even if you
live here. I think the air is extra rich or something." She laughed.

She took us back to the air strip and Ashton and his dad climbed into the
pilots seats. Mr. Staedler leaned over and whispered something in
Ashton's ear. He unbuckled and came back to sit by me. It was pitch
black in the back of the plane with the lights off -- which they seemed
to be by design. All I could see was some of the instrumentation
reflected off Ashton's eyes and cheeks.

I was preparing myself to get sick again. Today was my first ride in a
small private plane. But the wind had died down and the flight back to
the Kapalua Airport was smooth and we actually fell asleep in each
other's arms. We woke up when the wheels bumped the ground and Mr.
Staedler taxied seemingly soundlessly to the place his plane was kept.

We drove Ashton's dad home and watched him walk into the house. He
stopped short of closing the door and made a signal to Ashton. "That
means I love you -- in my family's signals." Said Ashton.

We drove to Mike's condo with the top down and though there was a center
console between us, I leaned over it and lay my head on his chest. He
drove with one hand on the wheel and the other rubbing my neck and
shoulders and stroking my chest.

"For a novice -- you're pretty good at this." I said dreamily, and
kissed his cheek.

"I've planned it since I was 16! It feels awkward."

"Not to me." I said. "It feels -- great."

When we parked in the carport behind the condo, he again pecked me on the
mouth and said -- "More of that in the house!"

Then we went in and he fulfilled his promise to give me a foot massage.
I fell asleep. I woke up -- no surprise -- at 4:30! I slipped out of
bed and as quietly as possible went to the bathroom. When I got back, I
started to get into my bed, and he said, "Tony?"

"Oh -- hi, Ash."

"Come over here for a minute."

I padded over to his bed and lay next to him. We were face to face. I
reached out and touched his face. He shuddered slightly. "I want you
-- so much!" He said.

"I know." I said. I scooted closer and we hugged. He had pajamas on,
but I was clad -- as my new usual -- only in some boxer shorts I bought
when I took off my garments. His hand on my bare skin was intoxicating.
I gently tugged at his pajama shirt and slipped it over his head.

I caressed his arm, shoulder, neck and back. He shuddered again.
"Omigod! So this is what it's like." He whispered. He followed my
lead and soon we were drawn together close and kissing and our hard parts
were straining to be free.

I reminded myself that this was his first -- well -- everything. Be
gentle Tony!

"You have a big day tomorrow, Tony. Where are you flying from?"

"Kuhio -- unfortunately." Kuhio is the big airport on the other side
of the island. "But I'm not flying until 11:00."

"Really? That's great. We can have breakfast then!" he hugged me,
said good night and turned over, and hugged the edge of the bed.

"Ash?"

"Yeah?"

"Do I have to go back to my own bed?"

"No."

I didn't ask if I could spoon him. I just did it and he hugged my arm,
which was over his side. He shuddered once again and breathed deep.
"Night." He whispered.

"I love everything about this night." I said.

"Love you too," He seemed to only breathe.
