    Robert slipped on a pair of pants and went to our house to get Alec a
change of clothing so he could come home with us and wait for Galen to
arrive. Robert returned with a shirt, shoes, underwear and pants and they

 Micah said; David Gunderson we want you to meet Alec Drew Jonston

how and why Alec came to be at our house and we were waiting on Galen to
bring by the papers to sign.

  David walked over to Alec, bent over and shook his hand then welcomed him
to the family.

  Ben said; in light of everything that has happened today you might want
to spend the night Max. He agreed that his mom would freak out if she saw
his face and why he fought the older boys and the fact that he was gay she
wouldn't want him near the other boys. Ben said; bullshit if she has a

  About 3 hours later an officer stopped by, he some questions about a
complaint filed by a Benjamin Reedman about an assault that had occurred
that involved his son Max and a another youth by the name of Alec
Gunderson. Micah said; yes Officer Alec is here and he's my son. He and his
friend were attacked in the parks by two older young men; I have a sketch
that Alec did of the two attackers maybe they will help you some. The
officer saw the sketches and said; Elder Gunderson we know these two, they
had someone serve some justice on them at the park, but they wouldn't say
what happened to cause it. Seems that someone might have seen what happened
and made them pay for their actions.

  Micah asked; who these two boys were. They are two cousins both 20 and
into trouble all the time but I don't think the one named Clyde will ever
touch another child again in fact it might be a while before he walks
straight again. Micah asked if he was okay, sounds serious. The Officer
said; whoever took revenge on him shoved their arm up his ass and split his

talk about what happened. But now we know we will throw these two in jail;

  Micah said; tell the Magistrate I want to talk to him and discuss a

  Micah walked in the house and called David to come in the living room so
they could speak about what happened. David sat down on the sofa; Micah
asked his son if he was okay, did he need to talk about what happened in
the park toilets. David said; I'm fine Daddy and I promised him, if he ever
touched another child, I would be back and the next time I would reach up

the kitchen and asked where Alec was, Micah answered he was here a minute
ago. I walked to the boy's room and motioned for Micah to come here, there
lying on David's bed was Alec nestled safely in his brother's arms sound
asleep. I softly said; they are going to be just fine together.

  We sat on the porch waiting on Galen to show up with the paperwork for
Alec's permeant placement in our home. Galen walked up and had a file
folder in his hands. He asked where Alec was at, Micah said; he's napping
at this time, he's had a very long day today. Hand me the paperwork so we
can sign it son. Galen asked; at your ages are you two perfectly sure you
want to take on a 12-1/2 year old boy. Micah responded; just as sure as we
were when we took in a little red headed boy when he was kicked out of his
home.

  Galen smiled and said; for that I will be forever grateful to you both. I
understand that there was some trouble this morning at the park in town;
you didn't have anything to do with that? Micah said; we have been here all
day and the officers stopped by here, for drawings Alec had made of his
attackers which matched two men who were beaten at the park a few hours
ago. Galen had Micah and I sign the papers that made Alec ours. Galen
asked; where is Alec at now. I said; he is in his room with his brother
David, go see him for yourself Galen. Galen came back outside and said;
dang just like they have been together all of their lives.
