The Mennonite - A New Start 38

    Micah was doing better day by day but he still missed Izaiah. David and
Ned were seeing each other not knowing where it would end up, Liza was huge
and Henri treated her like a Queen waiting on her hand and foot. Clyde was
on baby watch, he and Joe got an early pardon/release from The Magistrate
Julia.

  At 2:35am Clyde called Jenny's water broke and one of the babies was
crowning already, to get a Doctor and help to the house fast as we
could. Micah still could move for an old guy, he was out of the front door
before I slipped on my shoes. He was at the house before the Dr. Andy,
first born was Julia Eve at 2:39am Micah was the first to hold her and he
wrapped her in a blanket when Jenny screamed here comes another one and
Clyde Barrow Carrington II was born at 2:45am, Jenny was starting to cramp
up again and after a big push out came another little girl at 2:47am they
named her Jennifer Rose. Mother and children were doing fine when Andy
walked into the house, the father was another story he was a mess.

  Clyde started to worry where will they sleep we only have two beds, and
do we have enough bottles, diapers, baby wipes and baby formula. I laughed
at him and said; Clyde, go call your mother and let her know she's a
grandmother. He asked; what's her number. David laughed and said; it's in
your phone dude. Joe told Rob they're one up on us, we need to match them
soon or they will out-number us.

  David called Liza and handed the phone to Clyde, we all heard Liza
screaming when he told her it was triplets, not twins.

  Over the next few weeks the babies grew and Clyde was ecstatic being a
father, He waited on Jenny and the children hand and foot. Liza's time was
growing near and Andy and Eve wanted her to move to Clyde and Jenny's after
the stunt Jenny pulled delivering 3 babies so fast.

  David and Ned were doing good but there felt like there was something
else happening in their life. And that something else came knocking at our
front door, her name was Jessika Smyth she was a cute young lady with long
blonde hair and hazel green eyes. I invited her inside; I told her the boys
were out at the moment if she wanted to see them. No Sir's I have come to
see the two of you, I need to talk to you about David and myself.

  Micah asked; has he gotten you in trouble young lady? No sir; I would
never let that happen unless you two agreed to the relationship, I love
David and he has feelings for me, but we also have feelings for Ned and I
want your blessing for a relationship with both of the boys.

 Micah; asked what do you mean by both of the boys young lady. Jessika
responded; I want to give David children that Ned and myself can raise
together as all of our own, Ned has made it clear he will only sleep with
David as his lover and I can give them as many children as David wants to
have with me. We will sleep together in the same bed and live in the same
house; we will share the raising of the children equally.

   I looked at Micah and said; this is progressive and new to the
community, I told you that David was Bi-sexual. I asked; Jessika, young
lady what does David think about you suggestion of having children
together. He wants to have children and raise them in a loving family just
like his parents have done. I also want to raise them in a large loving
family such as yours. Micah spoke; what do your parents think about this
situation young lady. Sir they told me if I wanted to raise children with a
freak I was on my own so I left them today and have come here to live
hopefully with David and Ned if it's allowed to happen if not I will
request sanctuary for me. I'm 18 and I graduated with David and I'm sorry
but I could never understand what he saw in a heartless bitch like
Erin. It's a very good thing she won't ever show her face here again,
because I would stomp a mud hole in her ass for what she did to him,
breaking his heart and using him.

  Micah looked at me and asked; well what do you think Poppa? Micah Earl
they are all adults and what they are going to do they will do, I am one
that will not stand in the way of love plus I do want more grandchildren
and she's full of fire and grit. Micah asked young lady do you know where
the boys are at this time. Jessika looked down and said; forgive me but I
lied to them and told them to meet me at WD for ice-cream and I headed over
here to speak to the two of you, because you still scare the Hell out of
David and Ned when it comes to opening up their hearts, I have told David
many times that you were firm with him because you loved him like a real
Daddy should.

  Micah stood up and said; young lady, I want me some ice-cream how about
you two. Jessika called David's phone and said; she was sidetracked but she
was on her way now not to leave she need to talk to them both. We headed
out with a plan of action. Jessika walked into the WD by herself and we
waited for a few minutes until she hatched her plan.

 She sat beside David and dipped her finger in his ice-cream then she
dipped her finger into Ned's. They were laughing when we walked up to the
table David and Ned shut down like two little children that had been caught
doing something wrong. Micah sat down and asked what was going on
here. David said; nothing Sir. I sat in a chair at the end of the table;
Jessika suggested that we move to a larger table. Micah responded that he
thought it was a wonderful idea.

  We went to a larger table and sat down with the kids in the middle
between Micah and me. Micah dropped the bombshell when he asked; who's this
fine looking young lady sitting between you two studs.

  David and Ned turned red faced at Micah's statement, David stuttered as
he tried to introduce Jessika to us. Micah went in for the kill and said;
when can Poppa and I expect to see the first of many grandchildren between
the three of you young good looking folks. Both boys started to stutter and
looked at each other, Jessika didn't help matters when she place her hands
on the boys crotches squeezing them and said; I've got a handle on the
situation Daddy Micah. Both boys turned ghostly white and she laughed. I
remarked; looks like we might need some more ice cream over here to cool
these two boys down.

  David finally found his voice and asked; Daddy, you're not mad at me or
Ned for this mess we're in now. Micah said; Poppa and I are delighted at
the prospects of more little Gunderson's running around the house, he never
gets tired of the sound little feet going pitter patter on the hardwood
floors. I looked at Micah and responded; like you do old man. He laughed at
the boys. I said; Ned we know all about the arrangement you three have but
you might wish you had a child of your own to share in the love between the
three of you, but that's up to you and no one else. David said; that's what
I have been telling him, I want to hold his child as much as I want to have
him hold mine in his arms; Jessika is willing to give us our children and
we will all raise them together in a loving home. He will be by our side
when Jessika conceives my child, I will be by their side when she conceives
his, and she will be with us when we have sex for the first time.

  Micah spoke to the boys; it takes a real lady to share her love with two
men and to make a home with them so if you are ready we will need to break
the news to Rob and Joe, he laughed and said; I can't wait to see the dumb
look in Rob's face when you drop the bomb shell on him.

  Joe slapped Rob on his shoulder and said; pay-up bitch, I told you they
were Bi but no you knew it all. Rob was the one who couldn't get the words
out of his mouth, Micah said; take deep breaths son and think before you
put your foot in your mouth and that damned big foot you have.

  This was a first in our Community, 2 guys and one girl sharing the same
marriage bed as one. The Kids were joined for 2 months when Liza started to
have cramps and she was at 38 weeks, Andy hoped for 32 weeks but she had
made it to 38 and the pains were coming fast. Andy called Eve and Ivan to
assist him in the delivery, Henri felt every pain Liza did. When one would
howl out in labor pains the other would start howling. Andy had enough to
worry about with Liza without Henri. So he came into the living room and
gave him an injection and in the count of 5 he was asleep.

  3-1/2 hours later there were 4 new babies in the world, all were doing
fine mother and children. Their father was helped into the bedroom where
they were at asleep with their mother.

  Jessika whispered into Micah's ear and he smiled, he asked hoes he know
she shook her head no. Micah cleared his throat and said; looks like this
will be repeated in 8 months.

   Jessika sat upon David's lap, laid his hand on her belly then said
congratulations Daddy. David passed out at the news, Jessika kissed him on
the cheek and said; rest for now my husband. Ned was so excited at the news
and everyone was happy for the kids. I went into the bedroom to check on
Liza and the babies and told her and Henri the news.

 8 months and 47 hours of labor later, David Earl Gunderson came thundering
into this world at 11lbs 8oz. Jessika was exhausted as were David and Ned
who took turns sitting with her during labor, both of the boys cut the
umbilical cord together. Andy was exhausted from the delivery and said;
Jessika needed to rest after the hard delivery and she should wait for a
while before having another baby. I asked Andy if she was really okay or
should this be her only child for safety sake. If they wait she should be
okay, but she needed to wait.

 Earl was a handful and he was spoiled rotten by Micah who always visiting
him and holding him. Micah loved his other grandchildren but this child was
very special to him. We were always watching him for the night when he was
six months old Jessika asked Micah if his heart had room for another
grandchild. Micah was shocked and said; Andy wanted you to wait until later
to have another child young lady. Daddy Micah; the Angel lady said it was
time and then my job here on earth would be finished. Please don't tell the
boys let's just keep this between us.

  Micah asked is this David's or is it Ned's child, Daddy Micah I made an
agreement that I would give both boys a child. This little girl is Ned's
only child, she will be a special child and loved by so many, her name will
be Jessika Elizabeth Gunderson.

  The pregnancy was very difficult on Jessika she had blood pressure
problems and was bed ridden for most of the time. We kept Earl many times
for up to a week long, we took him to see his mother but she was exhausted
most days. Andy was worried as Jessika's time neared but she wouldn't have
a C-section. She said; this baby had to come into the world naturally as
the Angel had decreed. Jessika called for Micah and said; it's time to tell
the boy's Daddy Micah they need to know everything and you must make sure
they name her the proper name, because I will never get to hold my child.

   Micah called for the boys to come to the house he needed to talk to them
both, Beth would sit with her sister-in-law for them. The boys were
devastated when Micah told them what Jessika had told him about the baby,
her and what the Angel Lady had told her about the child.

  Jessika told Beth that this baby was a special child and the boys would
need her expertise in this area, others would make fun of how she looked
but Beth knew better than anyone how cruel people could be. And make sure
they name her Jessika Elizabeth Gunderson, this is what the Angel Lady said
to name her; she would help heal their wounds so they could enjoy life with
their children. Two weeks later during the birth Jessika had a massive
heart attack and passed away before holding her child. It was a very sad
time, but they also rejoiced at the birth of 7lb 3oz Jessika Elizabeth
Gunderson, she had blonde hair and green eyes like her mom and she was
perfect, Downs Syndrome and all. Beth told the boys she would help them
however she needed to, she had made that promise to Jessika.

  They boys called her Jessi; it broke our hearts as Earl looked throughout
the house for his mother calling out for her.  There were photos of her and
the boys on the shelf along with the children's photos, Jessika would never
be forgotten to her children and loved ones. We took the children
everywhere we went, the boys worked a lot but made family time, Jessika
would be very proud of them; they told the children that mommy now lived in
Heaven and was smiling down on them keeping them safe from harm.

  Earl was a little dare devil and needed all of the Angles watching out
for the little rascal. Micah was winded a lot lately and I decided that he
needed to visit an old friend of mine in Austin Texas, at TCA Austin, my
suspicions were correct and Dr. Sanchez had to put in 3 stents and an ICD,
after he was cleared to travel we returned home. Micah was getting better
by the day but no one would let him lift a finger, his main job was being
Grand Daddy to the little ones and enjoying life for once. Clay took over
the main operations and Rob ran interference between the two. He wouldn't
say it out loud but he was very proud of all of our children, and how
blessed we were in life.

  I realized that time was winding down for the two of us and soon we would
go home to live and see the others that went before us. But we would make
the most of the time we had left on this earth with our loved one's here.

 I called the children and asked that they all meet us for a special day; I
rented the WD store in S.L. for the day so we could all have Pizza and Ice
Cream.

   We filled up the store and there was standing room only. I stood up and
spoke to our family and friends. You're Daddy and I are retiring and we are
passing on the torch to you, our children. Adam you and your sister Beth
are now the head of this family, our time here is limited and we want to
enjoy our time left enjoying our grandbabies. There was a hush over the
room and the tears began to flow. I handed a piece of paper to Beth and
asked her to read it to everyone.



Thy Fathers House

Thy Father has a House with many rooms.

There is a room for me; there is a room for you.

I will never be lonely in thy Fathers House for he is there.

His glorious choir will comfort me there.

 I will not hurt; I will not need, for he will feed my heart and soul.

I will wait with loved ones that have gone before me for your arrival.

I will prepare you a room in Thy Fathers House in Heaven.

For in his House there are many rooms.

   When Beth finished the poem there wasn't a dry eye in the crowd.
